A women with a new born infant in her arms ran in a forest and as she did she kept looking back to make sure she wasn't followed . 3 men in long Capes ran after her . She started to run faster and the baby started to cry and she shook the baby to calm it . The women was dressed in a long purple robes which was full handed and was slit in the middle of it . She wore a tall pointy hat and a pair of shorts with knee boots . She suddenly stumbled and fell and sat near a tree . She saw the people behind her reach her and stood around her with her back to the tree the women whose face was hidden by the hat exposing only her mouth screamed loudly . The screaming slowly turned into ringing of a alarm bell and Anna opened her brown eyes started panting . This dream had been bugging her from Childhood . She never understood it . She had tried everything even visiting sleep therapist and counsellors but nothing seemed to work at all for her . " Anna you up , hurry up your going to be late " Her fathers voice rang out . Anna rubbed her eyes and sat up and said " Ok dad " She grabbed a scrunchy and tied her long chocolate brown hair into a bun And dashed to the shower and quickly washed up and pulled on a pair of jeans and a full hand blue Shirt ,Pulled down her hair and let it loose and ran down the stairs mostly slid down the railing and reached the table where her father was cooking her breakfast and he placed two plates on the table for her and himself . Anna's father Hector was a single dad , Anna didn't know her mother at all . Her parents had divorced when she was a baby . She did feel the loss of a mother but her father made sure he gave her everything she needed . Only what she needed not everything she wanted . He had raised her as a self confident and also a brilliant girl who knew to appreciate everything she had . Hector had enough to make sure he and his daughter lived a comfortable life , he owned a couple of restaurants which served the favorite coffee of the whole city . As Anna stuffed her self Hector said " Anna the breakfast is not gonna run away , go slow or your gonna choke yourself " Anna looked up at her dad and said " And you need to hurry up dad or we are gonna be late " Hector took a glance at the clock and widened his eyes and he too started to stuff his breakfast they finished and dumped the plates in the sink and just the door bell rang and Hector opened and saw a plump women with a small purse and a luggage bag stood outside with clear eyes a pleasant smile . Hector smiled and said " Welcome back Mrs. Norris how was your trip " He stepped out and pulled her bag in and helped her inside Mrs. Norris was their housekeeper and also was Anna nanny. Anna ran up and hugged her and Mrs. Norris hugged her back and said " Don't ask me sir my grandkids keep me on my toes more than you and your daughter do " . Anna and Hector gave a small laugh . Mrs. Norris rolled her eyes and said " And I have missed the exact same laughter of the two of you " . Mrs. Norris was right as always as both Hector and Anna were very much similar . They had the exact same brown hair and the exact same laugh and smile also they both were fair skinned . The only thing different thing was that hector was tall man with a thin body and a strong build . Whereas Anna was slender and slightly lean also Hector had blue eyes whereas Anna had coffee brown eyes . But anyone who saw her would say that she was her fathers Daughter .What was surprising was that they had the same attitude and character , fun loving and energetic . Hector grabbed his car keys and Anna grabbed her bag and they said bye to Mrs. Norris who had got back to do the dishes . Anna nd Hector rushed to the black jeep and looked at the time and said " lets go " Together . Hector started to drive and he said " Anna call the boys and tell them we are on the way " Anna looked at her phone and said " Don't worry dad they will already be there " Hector looked at his daughter and asked " are you sure " Anna gave a smile and said " Not sure about Jacob but Jake will be there " Hector quickly saw two tall figures standing near their pick up spot and stopped the vehicle in front of them . Two boys scrambled inside the car and said in One voice " Morning Mr. Williams " Hector replied back " Morning boys " . They wished Ava next and she wished them back . Hector started " You guys are going to graduate soon what you guys planning . Jacob who was talkative said " Well sir all of us have applied for business school so we all will be going there together soon if we get it " Hector gave a small chuckle and said " I know you all got in . Am I right " Jacob suddenly shut up and Anna asked " How did you know that Dad " Hector smiled and said " I have know you kids since childhood whenever you guys have to hide something You look away and Jacob talks and Jake well he just sits quite .Jake gave a smile to Hector and said " You got us sir " Hector looked at Anna and said " Honey , its all right you will be fine by yourself and plus you got these guys " Anna just said " But dad won't you be all alone" Jake piped in saying " and she wasn't sure you would let her go " Hector sighed and said "22 years with me and you still don't get me " Hector continued saying " Honey I won't be alone and plus I know that you are a good decision maker and one day you will want to fly and I don't want to be the one who cuts your wings off . And we'll stay in touch " Anna asked " And if I look back will you be there " Hector said " Always . Oh but if you plan on dating anyone plz hon don't try to compare him to me . ok try and look at him from a guys perspective not a dad's perspective " Anna said " I know that dad " Jacob literally came in the middle and said " You are really ok with her dating anyone " Hector said " Of course , she is women and she has all rights to like anyone she wants and plus what's life without a little spice . That goes for you boys too . It will be amazing if you guys date twins " . Jacob looked at his brother who had looked up when Hector had spoken about Anna dating and a sly smile crept up his face . Jake and Jacob were fraternal twins and completely opposite . Jake was a serious , Quite and didn't talk much whereas Jacob was a crazy , loud and talkative guy . The boys were both fair but somehow Jake was a little taller than Jacob and they both had black hair But again one had brown eyes and the other had black eyes . Jake was dressed in a black t-shirt with a black and white jacket with a hood and blue jeans and Jacob was dressed in white t-shirt with a blue jean jacket and blue jeans . The twin s had been Anna best friends since kinder garden and hence Hector knew them from then . Jacob said " you know Mr. Williams our mother is single would you give her a call " Jake looked at his brother with glaring eyes . Anna said " Jacob just cause we share stuff doesn't mean I will share my dad . ok " Jake just said without looking up from his phone which he was back to watching " He is just kidding Anna and I have one annoying brother and don't need a sister too " Hector just laughed and said " I would Jacob your mother is a wonderful mother , But son I just loved only one women and that was Anna's mom and no one can replace her. But you can always treat me as a father figure son " Jacob said " I know sir its just I wish I had a cool dad like you sir our mom literally went crazy when we told her about Business school . You are more like a friend than a father to Anna " Hector just winked and pulled up near their college and said " Alright we are here " The boys got out and Anna hugged her dad and said " Bye dad " And hector said " Bye bud " And as they were leaving Hector yelled " Hey you guys need to help out in the restaurant today remember its our 20th Anniversary of opening of the restaurant . " The three of them yelled back " OK " . Another car stopped came a few minutes later and stopped exactly where Hector had parked . Two girls stepped out of the car one with a grey hoodie on her head and Jeans and white sneakers and another with a red top and a short skirt with high heels . The girl in the skirt waved bye to her mother who was in the car and walked with the other grumbling " I don't get why I had to come here " The other girl who was struggling to catch up with her wearing high heels said " Look I know it's a new place but you like it soon " The girl suddenly stopped and said " I'm here only temporarily so not planning to get attached Sally " and she started striding away with Sally trying to catch by saying " Got to stop wearing heels " And then she yelled " Emma slow down" Sally was a fair girl with a small size and was not very tall with blue eyes and blonde hair whereas Emma her friend was fair skinned and frankly lean with coffee brown eyes but no one noticed her features at all , only because everyone who looked at her were busy staring at her hair which was flowing in the wind when she put her hoodie down . Cause no one had navy blue hair naturally .
Jake pulled his brother to a corner and put his hands on both sides and cornered his brother with a deadly look in his eyes and said " What the hell were you talking about in the car " Jacob looked at his brother and pushed him away and said " That look might scare others , not me . Either you ask her out or I'll make mom ask Mr. Williams out got it " Jake looked away and said " You know why I can't do that and you know what our kind say about them and the few rules we have to follow and besides she is our best friend " Jacob rolled his eyes and said " Come on Jake , you won't ask her out though you like her just cause you are afraid of what dad might say if you ask out a hu....." Before he could finish a sentence Jake clamped his brothers mouth and said " Are you trying to get us killed or exposed " Jacob removed his brothers hand said " Sorry , but seriously dude no one can hear us " . Just then they heard Anna yell " Guys where have you been , I've been looking all over for you guys . Come on we are gonna be late to class " The guys exchanged glances and ran over to join Anna . As they climbed the stairs chatting with each other suddenly someone from the back pushed Anna and walked past them without even a sorry . Anna who suddenly fell was caught by the boys who made sure she didn't fall . She looked at the lean figure who was walking away and said " Look where you are going " The girl replied without looking back " Should have just moved " Anna held up her hands in disbelief . Sally came next to them struggling to catch up and said " Sorry Anna she is in a pretty bad mood . " Jacob looked at the girl walking away and said " Who is she new girl ?" Sally looked at Jacob and then her eyes wandered to Anna and then finally to Jake and she completely melted her eyes became soft and she swung her hair back flirtasiously and said in a sweet voice " Yeah just mom's friends daughter ." She looked at Jake and said " Jake are you free this Saturday ." Jake looked at her and saw her posture and said " No , I'm busy " Anna looked at him and said " Doing what " Jake just held Anna's hand in one hand and Jacob's hand in another and said " Working at your restaurant Anna " And he pulled both of them away with them saying a hurried bye to Sally . As they walked past A few other people whom they were crossing tried saying hi to them but Jake was literally dragging them through the halls . Anna , Jake and Jacob were nicknamed ' The Dream Trio' all three of them were literally everyone's dream partner . All the girls used to die to get close to the boys and died to get close to Anna to get and Intro and all the boys used to line up near the halls to see Anna pass by and try to get close to the boys . But those three never got into relationships or encouraged those who wanted to get close just cause they wanted to get close to the other person . But in Jake's case though he lied about it to everyone including his brother he did have a soft spot for Anna but ever since they grew up and he became 18 years his soft spot turned into a feeling he never understood himself and until he figured it out he was planning on just treating Anna just the way he used to before . But every once in a while those feelings would act up if someone tried to get close to Anna . The library used to be the place where all the people in the college used to come to stare at the tree of them so they usually went there only after college hours . But still people used to come just to stare . And they would be there till Jake lost his temper and gave his scary glance to all the people looking at Anna and then to the people staring at him and his brother finally get tired of it and finally walk away . The three of them reached their class and took their seats with Anna behind the boys and Jake next to his brother . The professor came in and said " Morning class , I'd like to introduce a new student to our class today . Everyone welcome Emma she will be with us for the rest of the year so all of you treat her well ok " The entire class looked at Emma and few boys at the back started smirking and whispering to each other . The professor looked at the class and saw Anna was the only one who didn't seem too worried about Emma's hair . She looked at Emma and said " Emma why don't you take a seat next to Anna " Emma looked at whom the Professor pointed at and said " Fine " in a pretty grim voice and went over and dropped her bag near the seat and sat without even giving a glance to Anna . Anna decided to make the first move and said " Hey I'm Anna . Sorry I think we got of the wrong foot today in the morning " Emma slowly gave a sigh and turned to Anna with a serious expression and said " I am Emma and stay out of my way and I think we won't have problems with each other " Anna was pretty stunned at her reply for no one was so annoyed to talk to someone at all . So she continued and said " Really that's all you have say to me " Emma turned back to the front and said " What more do you want to hear and I don't like talking to people I don't know ok ." Anna shook her head and turned back and said " OK , don't have to be so rude " Emma replied back with a sarcastic smile " That was my polite . So don't get used to it " .
Anna bent a little forward and said to Jacob " Looks like someone is not thrilled to be here " . Jacob gave a look at Emma who had pulled her hoodie back on after she got tired of everyone next to her asking about her hair and it had made her so mad that she was literally squeezing a ball to stop herself from punching someone . Suddenly Jacob squinted his eyes and looked back and forth from Anna and Emma and then smiled at Anna and turned to the front . The class started and after a few minutes when everyone was busy with the lesson Jacob looked at his brother beside him . And strangely enough his brother also turned and looked at him . Jacob motioned to him to look back at the girls Jake gave a quizzical look to his brother . And his brother gave a look to tell him to do it once . Jake sighed and saw if the professor was watching and when he was sure she wasn't he turned around and looked at the girls and his eyes widened so much that it looked like they were going to pop out . He turned back immediately and mouthed 'shit' . Then he looked at his brother with disbelief written over his face and Jacob with a 'told you so ' look . The main reason why the boys were so shocked was the fact that Anna and Emma looked almost similar and not just similar they looked completely identical . The only reason no one noticed that was because of Emma's hair which caught everyone's attention that no one saw the details that the girls other than the color of their hair they had exactly the same features and the same face and the same lean body structure .
After classes the three of them sat at their favorite table and started with their notes making and studying with almost every person in the library staring at them and them trying to ward of their eye . Everyone but one person . Emma sat at one corner of the table opposite to them and her eyes were fixed on her book with Sally next to her actually salivating at Jake who was busy with his laptop . Emma suddenly without looking up said " Sally stop drooling you are making a fool out of yourself and its not going to work on him " Sally looked away and said " Why not , Am I not pretty enough for him " Emma said again staring at her book " well your mom says you are pretty and so do most of the people in our class but for that guy he has only one person he likes and no one can impress him other than her " Sally suddenly moved closer to Emma and asked in a soft voice "Who ?" Emma sighed and said " The girl sitting next to him " Sally asked again "Anna , How can you tell that " Emma finally looked at Sally and said " Every hour he gives a deadly look at everyone who is staring at her and today when people were staring at her in the corridor he dragged her away . Only a guy who really likes a girl would do such a thing " Sally perked up and asked " Then why hasn't he told her yet " Emma went back to staring at her book and said " Well maybe because he doesn't understand his feelings himself . But Sally please don't tell this to anyone ok " Sally suddenly felt strange and looked at Emma and asked " You just said please and why do you have a nice spot for Jake " Emma said " Not the guy I'm just doing this for the girl , she was the first one to speak to me so I'm just returning her niceness . So now I'm no longer in her debt " Sally sighed and went back to her book and shook her head she could never understand her friend . The main reason why Emma had done that was because she felt a connection towards Anna something she had never felt with anyone like someone she could reach out someone she could understand . When Anna had spoken to her in the class she for the first time felt comfortable with in the new place . She retorted in a mean way because she didn't want to trust someone before she got to know them . Jacob looked up and stretched and saw that many girls were looking at him and finally he noticed Emma buried in her book . He was pretty fascinated by her , she was the first girl who wasn't oogling at him . He looked at her and felt a kind of attraction towards her . She finally looked at him when she felt he was staring at her and she stared him down . He gave a small smile and waved at her . She looked at him and rolled her eyes and went back to reading .
Anna finally spoke up saying " Guys we got to go Dad is expecting us " They quickly closed their books and laptops and rushed out with their bags and took the bus to the restaurant . Hector was inside busy with the decorations and the kids used to work there on weekends and after college as their pocket money jobs . Anna picked up her apron and tossed the boys their notepads and pens and they left to take orders . Anna joined her dad behind the counter and said to him " Hey dad , " Hector replied with a " Hey bud how was classes " Anna said " It was ok but met a really mean girl today name was Emma something " Hector froze when he heard the name and said " What did you say her name was ?" Anna repeated her name and asked " What's wrong dad " Hector came out of his trance and said " Oh nothing honey I just remembered an old friend of mine who with the same name " Anna shrugged and said " Okay" . Anna picked up a box of decorations and went out to decorate the tables outside . Hector said to himself " Oh dear me " and looked outside all the customers had left and Anna ,Jake and Jacob were working on the decorations . He remembered the times he had with Anna and the boys when they were young . He was going to miss them terribly , but again he knew that having a daughter means that one day he will have to let go and he wanted her to learn and make her own mistakes . But what bothered him the most was the name Emma . That name had a secret that he held within his heart . A secret he never told anyone . But he never wanted Anna to find out the hard way .
The next day after classes the three of them left and Jacob started " I don't know what that girl has against us . She never even smiles and so I'm not sure what her problem is " As the three of them passed the lockers they suddenly heard someone bang someone else on the lockers . They dumped their books in the locker and ran to see assuming it would be one of the school bullies . As they reached the spot of the commotion they saw a pretty rare sight . The boys had pushed down Emma and upset her bag . One of the boys who was tormenting her pulled her hoodie down . Her blue hair tumbled out of their perfectly set form . Anna pushed her way to the front and went near Emma and tried to help her up which she warded off . The boys came to hurt Emma again Anna stood up and put a hand against the boys and stood defending Emma and said " Hey leave her alone , Don't you have anything better to do " Emma looked up at this girl and got up slowly and pulled her hoodie back on her head . The main bully Derek sneered at her and said " Why do you care Anna , What is she your long lost sister . " Anna just rolled her eyes and picked up Emma's bag which the boys had thrown down at the girls feet . She handed it to Emma who nodded in gratitude . Jacob and Jake were watching from the front and Jacob whispered to Jake " How is no one seeing that they both look alike ." As Emma bent down to pick up her things and put it back someone from the back pulled her hair with her hoodie and making the hoodie fall off . Emma turned to see a snobbish looking girl with blonde hair giving a pretty sneaky smile and she went over and stood with Derek putting a hand over his shoulders . The entire school called them the jerk couple . The girl with the blonde hair was Elizabeth James the meanest girl in the whole school and she was the girl friend of Derek the main bully of the school . They lead a group of boys and girls who found pleasure in humiliating other people . Anna looked at Elizabeth who stood snobbily and said " Oh look at that the the new girls got a hero saving her " Anna stared back at Elizabeth and said " Mind that attitude of yours or its gonna get you in trouble " Elizabeth sneered at Anna and said " Oh like you control what's gonna happen to me " Derek replied with a " Yeah " Anna just shook her head and laughed a little and said " You two are perfect for each other , both of you are both dumb and jerks ." This pissed of Derek and he came in force to hit Anna and before he could hit her face Anna ducked and moved behind him and then she kicked him on his back sending him banging his face on the lockers . Derek got up and got ready to strike again . Elizabeth said pointing at Anna " You gonna pay for this " . Sally from behind quickly pulled Emma back . But somehow it looked like she was stopping Emma from doing something . As Emma was trying to go forward and that was when Sally pulled her back and started restraining her . Derek charged at Anna again but he got stopped by Jake who held his one hand with which he was gonna punch in one hand and put his other hand on his throat and giving him his scary expression pinned him against the lockers and looked at him dead in the eye and said " You bully and try to hit girls ?" Derek tried to struggle and get his hand free . Elizabeth screamed and started to pull at Jake's hands yelling " Let him go you psychopath " but she couldn't move a inch of Jake . Jacob came there standing behind his brother with his hand s in his pocket and said " Stop struggling , the more you struggle the tighter his grip gets " Derek stopped moving when he realized that Jacob was not joking . Jake looked at him and said " Next time , think before you act got it " Derek just nodded and Jake released him . He fell to the ground coughing Jake turned around and the three of them started to leave when Derek seizing the opportunity rushed at them just before Jake could turn Jacob gave Derek a back kick right to his face and he fell with Jacobs foot print on his face . and he bent down and said " you never learn do you and I just saved you . If you had hit my brother he would have killed you " He got up and stood . Elizabeth rushed to Derek and helped him up and yelled at the three of them " You sick bas......" Before she could finish Anna retorted back " You want a piece of us " and that shut her up when she saw the three of them look at her . Anna turned around and said " Everyone leave , shows over " And everyone who had gathered there left the place . Everyone except Emma . As they came near her Anna asked her " Are you alright " Emma nodded and said " Yeah I'm fine thanks for helping me out " Anna just gave her a smile and she looked at Jake and Jacob too and said " You guys too " Then she looked at Jake and said " Thanks for making sure that guy won't bug me again " Jake replied with a straight face " Anytime " And she left and Sally said a thank you to them and left As they started to leave . Emma yelled out " Jacob ," And he turned and she said " That was one heck of a kick " . And she turned and left . Jacob stood rooted to the spot until Jake came and put a hand on his shoulder and said "Come on buddy we got to go" . Jacob looked at his brother in a happy way and Jake sighed a " Oh no " and pulled him away . Jacob looked back at the lean figure of Emma walk away . He thought to himself " Why does she bother me so much ."
Later that evening as the three of them sat in the library buried in their books not noticing any of the gazes on them . Sally sat next to Emma staring at them as usual , soon everyone in the library left except for the three of them and Sally and Emma who was really not in a good mood and was typing away on her computer wildly . Anna slowly looked up from her book and looked at the clock in the library and said " Shoot guys I really have to leave I told dad I will be home by now " Jake and Jacob looked up and Jacob said " Well guess we should leave too or mom's gonna freak " . Anna picked her book up and went to keep it back in the shelf with Jacob and Jake following her with their books . Emma slowly put down her laptop and then looked at Sally and said " Are you done drolling over him" and Sally who was actually watching Jake said " Sorry , Its late lets leave " Emma nodded and put her laptop in her bag and pulled on her hoodie over her head and went to pick the bag when suddenly Derek who was waiting snatched her bag and stood with a smug look . Emma sighed and said " Give me back my bag " Derek said " You made me look like an idiot , Beg me and I'll give it back " Emma looked at him and said " Looking like an idiot is your fault and I'm not gonna beg you , just give me bag back " Derek sneered and said " OR what you gonna do , your friends are not here to save you " Emma said " I don't need them you will and trust me you don't want to pick a fight when you are alone and not with me " Sally piped in saying " Derek please she is not joking you really don't want to know what she can do " Derek just looked at Sally and said " Ooo show me what you got then Blueberry " Emma eyes suddenly widened with anger and she said " Fine you asked for it , and no one calls me names " Sally said " Emma don't " Emma looked at her and said " Sally get your hands off me and move back I don't want to hurt you " Sally moved away and Emma took of her hoodie and held her hands to both sides of her body and she made her Hands into small fists and when she opened them fire balls formed on the palms of both her hands her navy blue hair changed color to purple and she looked at Derek with deadly eyes and she flung a fire ball at him and it caught his pant and then she threw one at at his jacket which caught fire and he took it off and tried to run Emma threw another fire ball in front of him blocking him and she conjured a ring of fire and threw it at Derek it fell over him and formed a ring of fire trapping him in the middle of it . He saw it was not much when he tried to jump over it the flames rose on whichever side he tried to go through . Emma stood with a smug look on her face and making the flames rise whichever way Derek tried to go or jump away from . She suddenly looked to the side to see Anna , Jake and Jacob all staring at her with wide eyes . But again Anna looked at her with fear but Jake and Jacob looked at her with surprise and looked a little cautious.
Emma looked at the three of them staring at her and as her concentration was on the fire it slowly died down and Derek seeing the opportunity ran and hid by pulling Anna in front of him . Emma seeing him behind her said " Anna move away . I don't want to hurt you " Anna put her hand forward and said " Emma I Don't know what you are but please stop trying to hurt him . " Emma said again with a serious face " Anna move away " Anna stood her ground with Jake and Jacob near her . The boys who were scared of no one somehow seemed to be afraid of Emma . Anna continued saying " Emma your power is very special but don't use it to hurt people please , Don't do this " Emma gave a sigh and said " Okay well then you leave me no choice " Emma brought her hand up and then conjured up huge fire balls in her hands and before the boys who were a little behind her ran to help her Anna closed her eyes and crossed her hands in front of her face and waited for the impact . She heard the fire ball rushing towards her but strangely enough it didn't hurt her at all . so she slowly opened her eyes with her hands still crossed near her face . and she looked at Emma and Sally looking at her surprised and literally dumbfounded . she looked around her and saw nothing so she was sure they were looking at her . Emma shook it off and threw another fire ball at her and strangely enough it didn't touch Anna it just stopped a few inches away and seemed to hit an invisible force and douse out .Emma kept doing this and nothing seemed to work . It was as if Anna had an invisible force protecting her . Emma got frustrated and then conjured fire balls and put them together creating a powerful one . as she got ready to strike Anna yelled "Enough " and broke her cross made by her hands and suddenly something hit Emma and she was thrown of her feet and hit the bookshelf behind her . Anna widened her eyes and looked at the boys who were behind her . Derek came forward and asked accusingly " What did you do " Anna opened her mouth in disbelief and said "I don't know I just removed my hands from my face and she fell " Jake and Jacob reached her and pushed Derek away and asked " Anna ae you ok " Anna nodded still staring at Emma who was getting on her feet and looked at Anna in a threatening way . Emma conjured up fire balls again . Jacob told Anna " Do what she did " Anna looked at him said " What " Jacob pointed at Emma and said " What she is doing right now " Anna yelled at him saying " I don't know how to conjure up fire balls " Jacob said " Just try " Jake looked at her and said " Concentrate on your hands " Anna nodded and she held her hands like Emma was and she concentrated a few sparks erupted from her hand .Jacob yelled " Concentrate harder " Anna stressed harder and her hands lit up but instead of Fire balls she managed to conjure electric sparks in her hand and her hair suddenly turned from brown to orange . Looking at this Emma put down her powers and stared at Anna . Sally seeing what Anna could do Sally put her hand on her chest in a cross and bowed her head and took a knee and bowed to Anna . But Emma stood her ground staring at Anna . Jacob looking at this and seeing Derek freaking out pressed a pressure point on his neck and knocked him out unconscious . Jake looked at the girls and asked Anna to relax Anna did and her hair turned brown again . Sally got on her feet and came in front of Emma and said " Stop and calm down you caused enough chaos . " Emma calmed down and her hair from purple went to brown . Sally looked at it and said " Dude your hair it got its normal color . But its not your moms " and Sally squealed in excitement and Emma said " Sally calm down your hair is turning Green " Sally quietened down and looked at Anna and said " Whoa" Anna and the boys also said " Whoa" Emma asked " What is wrong with you people " Jacob said " Nothing except the fact that I was right and you two look identical to each other " He said pointing to Anna and Emma . Emma looked at Anna and said " So that's how I look with brown hair " Jake looked at Anna who was speechless and said " Guys we have got to leave " Anna said " I agree " and with that all three of them rushed out of the library . Anna came back and said " Sorry " To Emma and then ran back to the boys again they grabbed their bags and rushed to take the bus . Sally looked at Emma and said " Well , now what . looks like we found another royal " . Emma shook her head and said " Help me get this Derek on a chair we can say he dreamed it up if they will shut their mouths ". Sally and Emma lifted Derek and put him on a chair and made it look like he was sleeping . Sally asked " You not worried about Anna " Emma shook her head and grabbed her bag and walked out with Sally saying " No , Anna doesn't bother me . The boys do . They didn't look surprised they looked cautious like ready to strike . They know about witches . And something isn't right with those boys we got to be careful of them . " Sally nodded agreeing and said " Also they are witnesses to your little shown in there . " and the two of them walked away to car that was waiting for them and Emma thought to herself " Have to talk to mom about this " .
Anna and two brothers rushed to the bus stop and boarded the first one that came . For the first time all three of them looked petrified and didn't speak a word until finally Anna asked a question which each one of them wanted to ask the other . " You guys saw all that too right " The boys looked at her and nodded . At that time they realized that Anna had to get down . She looked at the boys and said " Guys maybe we should keep quite about this ok " Jake nodded and Jacob replied " No one would believe us anyways " Anna just smiled and got down and ran all the way home . She opened the door said a hi to Mrs. Norris and rushed to her room she quickly changed her clothes to a black pant and a black shirt and tied her hair in a bun and quickly ran to the backyard . The backyard actually was pretty huge mostly bigger than the house Anna looked around and went over to a place where a bunch of long sticks were placed and picked one up . She removed her shoes and suddenly ducked down just in time when a person from the back swung a long rod at her head . Anna turned and used her own stick to defend herself from the persons second blow . She defended herself and using the stick as a balance she swung on it and kicked the person with a hood over his head . The guy staggered back and came at Anna with two rods in each hand and Anna rushed at him too with her stick . They were literally fighting with each other with their sticks swing them at each other and defending the others blow . Finally Anna did a spin kick and hit the guy right in his face getting him on she picked up her stick and tried to strike a blow at him with one end and suddenly she lost balance when the guy tripped her with his rod got up with a jump and kicked away her stick and held the rods in a cross and kept them near her neck . Anna sighed and said " This isn't fair " The guy in the hood said " No war is fair . never let your guard down even when you are trying to strike " Anna lay back on the grass in exhaustion . the guy took off his hood to reveal Hector . He took his rods off his daughters neck and said " You are late Plus your head wasn't in the game tonight . You were just striking without thinking . " Anna got up in an upright sitting position and said " Got you on the ground either ways " Hector came and sat next to her and said " Getting a person down is not important ...." " Its important to defend yourself " Anna finished for him . Her father always told this line every time she fell . And Hector said " you didn't even try to defend yourself you were attack mode " Anna sighed and buried her head in her knees . Hector had been training Anna since she was 6 years old to defend her herself both with or without a weapon . she was trained in hand to hand combat and also in sword fighting and also in archery . Just the way Hectors dad who was in the army had trained him . They all believed in the army or not learning to fight was essential . Hector looked at his daughter and asked " Are you ok hon " Anna lifted her head and said " Dad when you were young did anything I don't know say weird happen to you " Hector shrugged and said " Depends on the way you define weird " Anna said " Okay weird like your hair turning orange and back to its usual color . Meeting a girl who looks like you with blue hair and who threw fireballs at you and very weird like you able to channel electric sparks in you hand " Anna said this entire thing in a freaked out way and finally put her face in her hand and sighed out and said slowly " Am I losing mind dad , but the boys saw it too . So did we all lose it or was I dreaming " She looked at her father whose face had fallen and he looked deep in thought . Anna shook her dad calling him " Dad are you ok " Hector closed his eyes and sighed and said " I'm fine honey and no you were not dreaming and you are not losing your mind , You .... you just didn't know " Anna perked up and asked " didn't know what dad " Hector continued saying " Well I told you how and why we live together right . " Anna nodded and said " Yes , after the divorce " Hector sighed and said " Well its a little more complicated that that , You see I met you mother when I took over my mom's business . It was just a small café and it was after my parents died in a car crash . Your mother was a pretty young women who came everyday to the Café and sat in the same place and ordered the same beverage everyday . She always looked like she was looking out for someone or afraid that she might be noticed . A few days later I decided to talk to her just to make her feel better and After a few days she got comfortable with me and we started taking pretty freely with me and we became pretty good friend s . She also told me that she had left home because her father had forced her to do or rather steal something by seducing someone which she had rejected and run away with a lot of difficulty to avoid doing so . I promised her that she wouldn't have to be afraid of anything and that I would help her talk to her father . She denied talking to him and just asked me to stay close to her and also she wanted a place to stay . So naturally I gave her a spare room in the house and she moved in . Soon enough our friendship turned to love and we started caring for each other . Until one day when I asked her to marry me she told me the truth about herself . " Hector paused for a minute . Anna piped up " What truth " Hector said " Well here you need to understand that some of the mythical creatures we hear about are all not a myth . And your mother well she was a witch " Anna widened her eyes hearing this and said " What " Hector nodded and said " That what I said when I heard that . I thought she was joking but she proved it to me she could make fire balls with her hands and her hair could change from black to an unnatural color . That freaked me out but didn't change my feelings for her so I asked her to marry me even though she was a witch . Your mother told me that witches and magical folk are not allowed to marry humans and her father wouldn't approve of it and she was only with me because she wanted to hid her scent from creatures she called werewolves who hated witches and also to hid from her father . She had never thought that she would fall in love with me . I was pretty mad after hearing that , but I understood her compulsion to do so and i asked her to marry me if she truly loved me . After a lot of thinking she finally said yes to marry me . She wanted to leave behind all her past and start a new life with me all was well and soon you mother realized that she was pregnant . We were really hoping the child would be human but when you both were born ....." Anna chimed in saying " Whoa , wait a minute . Both .. who is other one " Hector said " OH right you didn't know that too , you have a twin sister named Emma , And I think that's the one who threw fireballs at you . so when you both were born we realized that one was human and the other was a witch . You were born and looked pretty normal but your sister she was born with long blue hair . your mother knew there was no way that she could continue to live with me for the scent of two witches was stronger than two humans . she knew if she stayed then she will be putting both you and me in danger and also she had to teach Emma to control her powers which she couldn't without attracting her father who could sense her power . She told me that witches hair color returns to normal hair color after the age of 20 when they finally have better control . Also the fact that hair color changes when you activate your powers ......" Anna said " Dad , you are deviating from the topic " Hector snapped back and said " So you mother took your sister and left . It broke her heart to leave you but she had no choice she wanted to keep at least one of her daughters safe cause she knew Emma would always be in danger . So I took you and left that place and came here and with Mrs. Norris's help raised you away from all that . Till today honey I didn't know where you mother or your sister was . But even in my dreams I never though that you would be a witch too . Your mother told me that it was very rare that when twins are born that too with a human both have powers that's why marriage with a human was forbidden . But looks like you and your sister are one in a million " Anna finally said " Oh my god , I am a witch " Hector nodded and said " yes, and you calm down because your hair is turning orange again and your hand are sparking up " He said the last line with a bit of panic Anna got up and started breathing heavy and suddenly Mrs. Norris came with drinks and Hector dashed towards her pulled her down covering her head just before Anna gave a huge electric wave which hit a pretty long distance and disrupted the entire backyard . Hector who was still ducking said " Anna breath , calm down hon " Anna took long breaths and calmed down and her hair returned to normal brown . Mrs. Norris got up and said " Hector you said this one would be normal and now she is just like Evy " Hector looked at Mrs. Norris and said " I know " Anna looked at her dad and said " Mrs. Norris knows ?" Hector said " I know its a lot to take in at the moment " Anna sighed and said " I need some time alone " And without waiting for her fathers response she ran inside , grabbed her hoodie and her phone and ran to a lake which was her favorite place when she wanted sometime for herself . She sat below a tree and tried to digest everything that had happened and all that she had heard . Anna closed her eyes and soon enough fell asleep and her terrifying dream came again . she woke up when she finally had heard the last scream of the women .She got up and looked at her phone it was pretty late and she had to get back home or her father would come looking for her . as she looked at the sky she saw the moon shining bright in the sky the full moon always seemed to make her feel better . She just smiled and felt everything will be all right . As she got up she heard a low growl behind her and she slowly turned behind a little petrified and saw a pair of huge black eyes and a menacing pair of teeth . They came a little closer to her growling at her . Anna saw they belonged to a huge brown wolf which did not look friendly . Anna did the next best thing she could do . She ran though she knew it was hopeless trying to run from a wolf . The wolf came behind her in huge leaps and bounds until Anna tripped and fell . Anna tried to get up and realized that her foot was stuck on a branch of a tree which had fallen down . Anna desperately tried to remove her foot and the wolf slowly approached her growling and Anna finally she crossed her hands in front of her face and concentrated and as the wolf decided to pounce on her she broke her cross and an invisible shield suddenly hit the wolf strong enough to knock it away from her . The wolf recovered and came at her again . Anna tried to make a shield again but she realized that she was tired and her shield was not as powerful and it was not enough to stop the wolf as it reached her . She just quickly crossed her arms in front of her creating a shield around her defending the wolfs bite and she realized it was getting weaker and the wolf was getting closer . Finally fatigue took over Anna and she fell down and her shield broke . And the wolf tried to pounce on her just before it reached her another black wolf pounced on it and took it down the second wolf got of the other wolf and suddenly transformed into a human boy . And he pulled out a syringe and as the other wolf was trying to recover the guy pushed the syringe into the wolf and the wolf started to struggle and finally turned into another boy . Anna regained her strength and managed to free her leg and seeing this change of the wolves she tried to scream but couldn't get any sound out . The two boys turned to see her and Anna was more than just scared to see Jake and Jacob in a strange black suits . Jake looked at his brother and yelled at him " Your control is getting worse you almost killed her " Jacob retorted back " It's full moon I can't help it ok " Jake stared at him with a deadly expression and said " Well get a hang of it or the next time you try to hurt her I'll kill you " . Jacob looked at his brother in disbelief and said " You would kill your brother over a girl . " Jake softened and said " Look I love you more than anyone brother . And I can't bear to lose you . Which I will if you don't control yourself " . Jacob started to say " Awww I love you too ......" When suddenly Jake noticed Anna staring at them with her mouth open punched Jacob and said " Zip it , we have an audience " . Jake slowly went near Anna in a comforting way and with his hands in front and said " Anna calm down ... " Before he could say anything else Anna yelled at him saying " Stay away from me , both of you . I don't have control yet but I can really use my powers . " Jake took a step back and Jacob who was behind him did the same . Jake started saying " Just listen to me . We are not going to hurt you " Anna lifted her hands and closed her eyes and brought about sparks in her hands and said " One of you tried to kill me and both of you were wolves and back into human s and that was really creepy and I don't want to hear any more of your lies please . " Jake said " Anna we didn't mean to scare you " Jacob piped in saying " And I didn't intend to kill you , I'm still working on controlling myself " Anna reduced her sparks and her hair which had turned orange came back to normal brown . She looked at the boys who came next to her and for a moment she looked at them and then out of nowhere she screamed at the top of her voice . Jake quickly covered her mouth and said " Please don't yell you can expose us . " And after Anna calmed down Jake said " I'm gonna let go Don't scream . ok " Anna nodded and Jake let go . Jacob said " We are gonna tell you something but don't freak out " Anna nodded and Jacob continued " Me and Jake are werewolves we can transform from humans to wolves and back into humans " Anna smiled and said " OK " and then she rolled her eyes and then fell to the ground unconscious . Jacob looked at that and said " U forgot to say don't faint " Jake shook his head and said " Just Get some water " And he knelt over to examine Anna . As Jacob came back with some water Jake sprinkled some on Anna's face and as she got up she moved a little back from them . And suddenly out of nowhere a fire ball hit the space between Anna and the boys make the boys Jump back and transform and Anna covered her face with her hand to avoid the sparks hitting her face . And she got up and looked back to see a Emma with her long flowy purple hair behind her . The flames were still a little alive and they rose a little as Emma walked over near Anna and pulled Anna towards her and pushed her behind herself and looked at the boys who had transformed back after seeing her and she said " I knew you wolves would be here ".
Jacob froze when he saw Emma she was wearing a long red dress split in the middle and long purple boots which matched her hair . Anna looked at her and said " Emma what are you doing " Emma put a hand in front of her and said " Trying to save you from these wolves . Trust me they will kill you once they know that you are a witch which they know now ." Emma flared up her hands again getting ready to strike . Anna quickly pushed her hands and hand away and stood in front of the boys and said " Leave them alone they are my friends " Emma put her hands down and said " Are you crazy they are werewolves they don't get along with witches " Anna retorted back " Well they along with me just fine " Emma grunted and said " That was because they didn't know that you were a witch . and come on one of them tried to kill you " Anna went closer and held Emma by her shoulders and said " It doesn't change anything and plus he just lost control and well Jake saved me . He wouldn't have done that if he hated me " Emma looked at the boys who were standing peacefully and she powered down her hair returning to normal brown . Anna went towards the boys and put took their hands and pulled them forward . Suddenly Jake felt a jitter down his spine and looked at Anna and he closed his eyes and took a long breath in and asked Anna " Are you wearing perfume ?" Anna looked at him and said sarcastically " Yeah its called sweat its imported " Jake looked a little confused he sniffed in Anna direction again and he still got the same smell of daisies and honey from her . Anna pulled the boys closer to Emma . Emma took a step back and Anna let go of the boys and came towards Emma and said " don't worry they won't hurt you . Trust me . After all we are family " Emma looked at Anna and gave a small smile and said " so you figured it out or did your father tell you " Anna looked at her and said " Just had to look in the mirror and well our dad did tell me " Anna put her hand on Emma's back and gave her a small nudge towards the boys . AS she stared at them Jake came forward and bowed to Emma in a gentleman way and held out his hand Emma kept her hand on top of his and curtsied back to him and next Jacob did the same but the minute Emma took his hand Jacob felt a sudden weird felling and Emma seemed to feel it to she suddenly closed her eyes and she looked at Jacob and their eyes met and Jacob smiled at her and said one word subconsciously "Mine " Emma stood stunned staring at him and then she snapped back to reality and she took her hand back and said "What did you say " Jacob snapped back and said " I said ... uh .. hi ." Emma looked at him suspiciously and said " Pretty much heard you say mine . Whatever that means " . Jake's eyes slightly widened when he heard Emma and looked at his brother in disbelief . Anna piped in saying " One second what are all of you doing here " Emma said " I come here to practice and I had to leave Sally's house . Grandfather is behind me and mom again and we had to separate for that reason and now he could sense me and I couldn't be too close to Sally so I left " Anna said " So where are you going to go now " Emma shrugged . Jake said "Well I thought humans can cover witches scent " Emma nodded . Jacob continued " Then why didn't Sally cover yours " Emma sighed and said " Because Sally is a witch too . How else do you you think her mom knows my mom ". Anna piped in asking " What kind of witch " Emma looked at her quizzically and said " I'm sorry what do you mean 'kind of witch ' " Anna said " Oh I mean like you can make fire , I can make electric what can sally make " Emma started " oh , well Sally can't make anything she is more of a shapeshifter she can transform into any animal she wants . " Jake said " Emma why don't you stay with Anna . after all she is family and also her father and her house keeper are human so I think that will cover your scent " Emma looked at Anna and Anna said " Yeah sure that is cool " Emma looked at the boys and said " Well what are you boys doing here by the way " Jacob said " Full moon night hard to control and we need to take a run so we came here " Anna suddenly shrieked and said " Oh Damn I have to go home Mrs. Norris is gonna freak if am late . Come on Emma " Anna looked at the boys and said " No more secrets right boys " The boys nodded and the girls nodded and left . Emma looked back at them one more time and followed Anna . Jake waited until the girls were gone and started walking back with Jacob followed him and Jake said " Looks like you found your mate bro " Jacob said " What " Jake continued " Well we say mine subconsciously when we meet our mate and you said so " He smiled a little and said " To a witch Ooo dad is gonna be mad " Jacob said " Well he is gonna be mad at both of us your mate is a witch too " Jake said " What do you mean " Jacob said " Come on I know you sensed your mate at 18 and now you can smell her scent " Jake said " Smell her scent wait what does that prove " Jacob said " Anna , dude only you can smell her scent and come on you said mine once when you were 18 to Anna at the homecoming dance remember " Jake strained his memory and remembered that he had said so but Anna didn't hear that because of the music . Jake said " Ok you got me I like her for a reason ok you can't ignore the mate bond " Jacob said " Well then its not our fault . If The moon goddess paired us with witches well she must have done so for a reason " Jake nodded and said " That is true but you are right we are both screwed . " Jacob said " Well then let us keep this between us and not tell mom you know she hates werewolf stuff " Jake said " Ok bro , secrets shake " Jacob nodded and they did their secrets shake that was a fist bump followed by handshake and kissing their hands and spitting out . They both continued walking home and looked around to see no one was looking and they transformed into wolves and ran all the way home .
Anna slowly opened her house doors and signaled Emma to keep quite and tiptoed inside the house . Emma spoke up in a hushed voice " Why are we keeping so quite " Anna looked at her and said " I don't want to wake up Mrs. Norris " Suddenly a voice came from the living room " Well Mrs. Norris is still asleep " Anna stopped in her tracks and turned around to see her father sitting on the couch and he came near her and said " But I am still awake " Anna just shrugged and said 'sorry I am late dad " Emma who was beside her said " This is our father " Anna nodded and then Hector diverted his attention to her and said " Hi Emma " His eyes welled up with tears and Emma just hugged him briefly . Hector made the girls sit and listened to the entire reason Emma was there and about the boys and finally said " Well, its no shock about the boys " Anna said " What " Hector shrugged and said " I have noticed them they seem to understand what the other one intends to say to the other without talking " Anna asked " What does that prove " Emma piped in saying " well werewolves can actually mind link with each other and understand each other without actually talking with each other " . Anna sighed and said " Looks like everyone knows a lot about mystical creatures than I do around here " Hector looked at the girls and said " Wow you both sound like your mother but look like me " Anna said " Dad we are identical twins of course we both look like you " Emma said " Father I need to stay here please just for sometime " Hector said " Emma first of you can call me dad and you can stay here as long as you want ok " Anna piped in saying " You can teach me how to control my powers and can you fight " Emma said " With my powers yes and little without my powers " Anna said "Cool we can practice in the backyard " Hector said " Ok you can continue that tomorrow for now get to sleep you have a holiday tomorrow and you can discuss everything then ok " The girls nodded and anna said " Come on I'll show where you can stay " As the girls left Hector pulled out his wallet and pulled up a picture of a women . The lady was beautiful fair skinned with long black hair and green eyes and with a sweet smile and she was slender and tall . Hector smiled and said " Wish you were here Evy , I really miss you babe "
Emma sat awake looking outside the window she looked back to look at Anna sound asleep . Emma never did sleep . Whenever she was worried she could not sleep and she worried a lot . She looked at the moon and said " help me goddess , I'm not sure what I am doing is right or wrong but I have to do it please show me what to do " And she bowed her head and waited for a signal suddenly the moon shone a little more brighter and the moonlight shone through the window and fell on Anna lighting her and then vanished . Emma looked at the moon and said " Well I really wish you could talk but again I think I know what to do " Emma looked at her twin and said " Well sister you are going to have to help me soon " She reached for her back pack and pulled out a green shining stone which looked like it had been broken which was round on one side and the other part broken and she smiled at it when it glowed .
Jake and Jacob sat on the roof of their house and Jacob just hung upside down over a window and then came up and said " Well mom is asleep so she won't see us here " He looked at his brother when he didn't answer . Jacob shook his brother who suddenly came out of his trance and said " Yeah ok " Jacob said " What you thinking about you look lost " Jake said " Well I am thinking as to why did Emma come here there must be a reason that a witch would come to the human side and join the same college Anna another witch was studying at " Jacob said " Well there is nothing weird its maybe a coincidence" Jake continued " Maybe , but the weird part is why now , where was she all these years and where is her mother and why would they separate just to hide their scent " Jacob sighed and said " Chill out bro there will be a rational explanation to all of this . Maybe 2 witches scent is more stronger and well maybe that's why she left her mother and maybe that's why she came here and Well Sally's powers must have boosted that's why she had to leave " Jake nodded and said " I know , I get that its just that something is not right something does not fit about Emma and also why did she happen to be there when we met Anna . I just hope Anna is not in trouble " Jake suddenly got up and said " Maybe we should check on her " Jacob pulled his brother down and said " First I think that's the mate bond acting up and second its kind of weird for us to peep into a girls house okay so calm down she will be alright " Jake nodded and sat down and continued staring into the sky and staring at the stars .
Anna woke up in the morning and looked around for Emma and she found her asleep near the window . Anna got out of bed and slowly went near the window and shook Emma . Who suddenly woke with her powers on attack and she held Annas neck . When she saw who it was she relaxed and said "Don't do that ok , I usually kill people who sneak up on me " Anna who was startled said " I didn't sneak up on you and also why were you sleeping near the window I put a bed for you " Emma got up and said " Actually I don't really sleep so I guess I must have fallen asleep yesterday by chance " Anna nodded and said " Okay , can i use the shower first " Emma nodded and Anna grabbed a towel and headed to the bathroom . As soon as she closed the door Emma looked around and started searching for the jewel and finally found it under the bed and pulled it and gave a long sigh and then put the jewel back in her bag and closed the zip just in time when their father walked in . Hector saw Emma and asked " You both up ?" Emma nodded and said " Anna's in the washroom " Hector said " Ok, when you both done come down for breakfast . I hope you don't mind pancakes " Emma smiled and said " I'm cool with it " Hector smiled and gave a glance at her bag and left . Anna just stepped out of the washroom with a bathrobe on and motioned to Emma that she could go in . Emma just put her bag down not realizing that it was slightly open and went into the washroom Anna rummaged through her closet and threw a towel at Emma saying " You can use this for now " . Emma said a thanks and went in . Anna grabbed a black top a blue jeans and a black jacket . She was about to go down when she saw that Emma's bag was slightly open and a glow was emanating from the bag . Though she knew that she shouldn't do it curiosity got the better of her and she tiptoed to the bag and opened it and picked up the broken piece of jewel which was glowing . As she touched it it glowed a little more brightly . Anna startled , placed it back and closed the zip of the bog and placed it down she found it and ran down for breakfast . Emma came out a few minutes later and pulled a duffle bag she had brought with her and pulled on a red top and a loose jeans left her brown hair down and looked at her bag she felt somehow uneasy and checked the bag once more and seeing that its content was fine she closed it and put it under the bed and went down for breakfast .
As she reached down she saw that the boys were there too so she greeted them " Morning boys , didn't know you would be here " Anna looked at her sister with a worried look and changed to a smile when she looked at her and said " Well its the week end so the boys usually hang with me . You should join us " Jake piped in " If you wanna " Emma looked at Jake and saw that he was giving her a death stare and averted her eyes . Jacob who figured out what was happening tugged his brothers shirt and Jake getting the point relaxed his face and gave a small smile to Emma . Jacob asked " So you wanna come " Emma slowly nodded with a smile . Mrs. Norris said " Well then eat up , you too boys " Jacob said " No thanks Mrs. N we already had " Mrs. Norris looked at them with a stern expression and said " I wasn't asking . Sit " The boys obediently sat as they knew if they didn't it was not going to be pretty .
After breakfast the four of them headed out . They straight went to the subway station . As they were waiting for the train Emma seemed to be fascinated with all the things around her . She looked at Anna and said " I wish mom had told me the human world was so amazing and sane I would have come here earlier . There is no worries of anything hitting you , don't have always look over your shoulder and its much more lively and people don't have to answer to one single person and fear that person. You don't have to do things that you know are wrong just to save yourself or your loved ones " Anna looked at her sister and said " It's really that bad over there . I thought you being a princess and stuff things would be pretty much amazing and the witches world was pretty cool " Emma suddenly realized that she had said too much and quickly changed by saying " Well .. it's just that when you have a kingdom you always have enemies you know " Anna gave her a look not completely believing her and said " Okay . if you say so " . just then Jake yelled " Hey ladies our train is here " And Anna went and pulled Emma along with her and boarded Their train . As they stood inside Anna stared Emma still looking around her surrounding . Anna knew that Emma was hiding something . Though she didn't know what it was she knew Emma had a dark secret .
Emma looked out the window and kept staring at the amazing scenery outside as she had never seen technology and culture come together as once and she took a deep breath . Anna sat beside her glued to her book she was reading . Jake looked at Jacob and realized that he was staring at Emma , Jake connected to his brother with his mind link and said to him through the connection " Don't get to close and attached too fast you don't know her still " Jacob snapped out of it and replied back " Can't help it . And will you give her a break she's new around here " Jake said again " She is hiding something . I know that i feel it and I'm just worried about Anna as it is I don't to be worried about you as well " Emma looked at the boys and realized what was going on and she said " You boys really want to talk through mind link " Anna looked up and said " Wolves can do that " . Jake nodded and said " well we can do a lot a of stuff ,like mind linking , transform and also something of mate bond " Anna asked " what's a mate bond " Emma replied " Its like finding a soulmate for life and stuff like that . They mate with one wolf or person for life and that bond is unbreakable " Jacob nodded and said " yes its unbreakable but if one of the two rejects the other then the bond will be broken " Jake said silently " Only if the other accepts " . Anna slowly moved her head and said " Wow i have a lot to learn about you guys " Jacob said " Well we have the whole day to our self so we can tell you a lot " Jake stared at his brother and Jacob ignored him and said " What do you want to know ?" Emma asked " For now I want to know about your family " Before Jacob answered Jake said in a serious tone and look " There is nothing much to tell , we just live with our mom and she is a designer that is it " Emma asked "what about your dad ? is he dead ?" Anna said " NO , their parents are divorced . They don't live together and I'm guessing their mom doesn't like werewolves and stuff " Jake nodded and Jacob said " Well our dad is alpha and ...." He trailed of when he saw Jake give him the death stare and fell silent . Anna got curious and asked " Who is a Alpha ?" Jake slowly sighed and said " Its like king of the wolves they lead the pack " Emma said " Cool so whos the next Alpha " Jacob said " Jake is , he won " Anna said " I'm sorry ,Won?" Jacob said " Yeah when there are two eligible for the leadership we have a dual and well you remember that a few days back we both went on a trip ?" Anna nodded and Jacob said " Well it was to dual to see who would succeed dad and my brother won against me and so he will be the next Alpha " Jake said in a gloomy voice " Not that I want to be and I can be when I am ready and whenever I want to be or at the very least get my dad down " Jacob turned to him and said " Come on bro . How long are you gonna be mad at dad " Jake looked at him and said " for as long as I live . You know what he did " Jacob shook his head and said " I know but he is still our father and you will still be alpha " . Anna piped in saying " come on forget it guys okay " Jake looked at Anna and smiled and said " Fine " . He looked to the side and saw that a bunch of guys were staring at the girls and he and Jacob who looked gave them their death stare and all them looked away . Anna continued saying " So you guys are like one of the person who is an alpha?" Jacob shook his head and said " well no , actually we are a species of werewolves known as Lycanth " Anna asked " what " Jake said " Its like royals of the werewolves " Anna said " So you guys are not just werewolves but are werewolf royalty " Jake nodded . Emma suddenly closed her eyes and a few minutes later when she opened them she had a worried look on her face . She saw that Jake was looking at her suspiciously and she just smiled back at him and he nodded back with a smile. Jacob said " Guys we are here come on lets go " the girls grabbed their bags and all of them got out with Emma getting her worried look back when no one noticed .
The four of them went through the food street giving Emma a taste of their foods . Emma who never had eaten food which was different from what was served to her and had never gotten a chance to choose was excited to try everything until she realized that they had to pay for everything she ate . After they were done with the food street Anna stopped and said " Okay boys you guys can do whatever you boys do , and I am gonna take Emma shopping for some clothes " The boys nodded and Anna took Emma into the clothes store as the boys went the other way . Anna as she opened the door the bell clinging at the top startled Emma and she looked at Anna with a shock Anna pointed to the door and the bell hanging on top . Anna went near the counter and said " Morning Eva , how you doing " Eva a young girl about a few years older than Anna smiled back and said " Morning Anna it's good to see you but can you please tell your friend to stop pushing the door front and back ." Anna looked and saw that Emma was experimenting the door by pushing it front and back and hearing the bell make a sound every time it opened. Anna grabbed her hand and pulled her away with a sorry to Eva and she pulled Emma into a section of clothes and said " Please try to behave normal okay we don't want people to know what we are okay " Emma shrugged and said " Okay I was just looking how the door works " Anna pulled out a few t shirts and handed them to Emma and said " Normal people don't experiment doors okay " And she pushed her into a trial room to try on the clothes . The shop was a pretty small one which had wooden floors and grey ceiling with lights hanging . The shop had sections of clothes on hangers in rows so they were easy to find . It had a cozy atmosphere and a cool temperature . The main reason Anna came to shop here was because this place was affordable . Anna grabbed a couple of shorts and a few jeans and as Emma came out with a pink top Anna nodded and passed the shorts and jeans to her . As the girls were shopping they didn't notice someone looking at them .
Jake was staring at Anna through the glass and Jacob was standing next to him and finally with a sigh said " Bro seriously Emma is not gonna kidnap Anna okay can we just go . I'm pretty sure that your mate instincts are acting up " Jake a gave a long huff and said " Fine lets go " After a few shops away the boys got smoothies and sat on a bench as they knew it would take a long time for the girls to come and the bench was the place they always met if they went separate ways . Jake sat with his head resting on the bench with his eyes closed . Jacob looked at his brother and said "Jake remember dad use to tell us about a friend who was a witch and how they used to hang with each other all summer . " Jake without opening his eyes nodded with a smile . Jacob continued " Well if they were such good friends then why are witches and werewolves such bad enemies ? " Jake opened his eyes and looked around and said " I'm not sure but once dad told me that the witches and werewolves fought for possession of the moon stone and hence it broke and since then the two have been sworn enemies . " Jacob said " Then if the girls are with us maybe we can join the stone . " Jake looked at his brother and said " WE can't only the moon goddess can and it should be surrendered to the goddess by the eldest royal or something like that at least its what the book said " Jacob piped up saying " There is a book how come I never knew " Jake tuned back and said " Because you fall asleep in my hand when grandpa used to teach us stuff " Jacob turned and sipping his smoothie said " What a N...." Before he said nerd Jake said " Don't call me the N word I mean it Jacob " Jacob tuned away and in a slow tone said " Nerd " And after that he felt a punch on his shoulder and Jake said " I warned you " .
The girls after their clothes had gone over to the shoes store . As they were trying on the shoes Emma asked Anna " Are you and Jake dating or something " Anna looked up and said " No, Why would you think that " Emma replied " Well not sure about you but Jake seems to have a soft spot for you . He doesn't like it when any guy stares at you or anyone makes fun of you or if anyone is too close to you or any thing . HE kind of likes you " Anna said " Really he does " Emma looked up and asked with a weird eye expression " Don't tell me , You like him too " Anna said " I'm not sure what it is I mean yeah I get a little jealous when girls' flirt with him but he is my best friend and well I don't want to end that with him and it will be really weird for me to date my best friend . " Emma picked another pair and said " You see how every shoe here has a pair " Anna nodded and Emma said " and you know how without a pair the shoe will be useless right. " Anna nodded again and Emma continued " Similarly the moon goddess makes every one a pair too so when you find that person don't let them go okay " Anna just shook her head and went back to the shoes she was trying on and then stood up to look and asked Emma " What about you did you find your pair yet " Emma stood too and said " Nope not yet " Anna asked " Well then what do you think about Jacob " Emma shocked looked at her and said " Why are you asking " Anna replied " I though you both had a connection on that day at the park something just clicked between the two of you " Emma sighed and said " Well the mate thing sparked for both of us but its hopeless " Anna looked up and said " Well what about the don't let go of your pair part " Emma looked at her and came close and said " Anna you need to know that werewolves and witches don't get along at all okay we are sworn enemies the boys haven't done any thing because they don't want to kill their friend and also that we are not in their territory but if we set foot there they will seriously kill us without hesitation okay . At this condition do you think the pack will accept me a witch as one of the Alpha's sons mate on top of that a Lycanths mate , No way okay " Anna asked " Then what makes you think Jake will accept me " Emma said "Well Jake is a first prince next in line to be king he can marry who ever he wants but you can't meet the witches but again you grew up with your dad you have no connection with the witches except for blood so they will consider you a human or at the very most an outcast witch who will be welcomed by werewolves ." Anna and Emma paid for their shoes and as they left Anna said " Then why don't you leave the witches you said anyway that you don't like it there " Emma stopped and said " But I can't leave my mother and go, I love her and my mother being a witch I'm pretty sure that the boys father will never accept . And as a royal and next in line for the crown I'm supposed to marry the one my grandfather choses " Anna nodded and thought that Emma's life was more difficult that she imagined it to be. Anna said " Well either ways I don't think that either of us know whats gonna happen " Emma smiled and stopped and held Anna's hand and she took of a long chain with a pendant she was wearing and put it on Anna and said " This always helps me make the most difficult decisions and they usually turn out right . So I guess maybe it will help you too" Anna said " But don't you need it "Emma said " keep it so that it will always remind you of me no matter where we are ."Anna hugged Emma and she took of her long chain with a pendant and gave it to Emma and said " This is my most priced possession and the last thing of my mom that dad gave me and i would never give it to anyone . But i want you to have it so that you will have something of mom next to you " Emma smiled and nodded in gratitude. The girls looked closely and noticed that both the pendants could connect and they connected to see that they formed an E and an A carved together and they smiled . Emma said "Looks like our parents knew that we would always be connected " .
Jake woke up when his brother shook him up and he turned to see the girls coming towards them . Jake got up and said " If you two are done can we go , I'm kind of of tired " The girls nodded and they caught the train back to their station . The boys decided to walk the girls back home and as they walked back Jake made sure that Anna and Emma were separated by him and Jacob . As they reached home Anna opened the door to her house she knew her dad wouldn't be there . Emma said as she saw Anna was waiting for her to come in " Anna can I have some time with Jacob please " She looked at Jake and he moved away Jacob looked at Emma after anna went in and Emma said " Jacob look whatever we felt in the park that day as much as it was magical I just don't want you to get the wrong idea with me okay I'm not so sure how I feel about you right now okay " Jacob smiled at her and said " Emma it's cool I get it at this age neither of us can understand it and so take as much time as you want and till then we can be friends and whatever your decision is I promise you we will still be friends .Okay so don't think about it so much okay " Emma nodded and said " Okay , and by the way thanks for standing up for me with your brother . I see he doesn't like me very much " Jacob looked at his brother standing staring into the wilderness nearby . He shook his head and said " Don't take it personally he is like that with everyone ". " He smiled at her and said " See you in college " and he ran off to join his brother . Emma just smiled and opened the door and thought to her self ' he is kind of nice ' That guy was ready to accept whatever she decided and didn't intend to force her . She went and sat next to Anna who was watching TV on the couch and Anna raised her eyebrows eyebrows at Emma who just shook her head and rested her head on Anna's shoulder .
The next few months went peacefully and with Anna and Jacobs help Emma made many more friends . The only problem was that no matter how much she tried she just couldn't get Jake to like her . She always felt that he looked at her strangely and always in a very cautious way . Emma just shook it off as Jacob always told her he was always cautious around witches . in these few months Emma got pretty close to Jacob and started trusting him a little more than she used to . A few months later they all got their last day and a month later was their graduation party. They happily all 4 of them walked home .
Jacob asked " Hey ,Emma why don't you apply to the same college we all are ?" Emma just smiled and said " Thanks Jacob but I just came to hide for sometime I will need to go back soon so I can't come " Jake said " But I thought you said that you have to hide from your grandfather and away from your mother , How do you know he will accept you back now ?" Emma looked a little worried at Jake who was staring her down she just thought and said " Well I'm not sure its just one day i will have to go back and till then I have to hide and he is my grandfather he will agree " Jake piped up again asking " He didn't all these years why will he suddenly accept you " Emma just looked down till Jacob came to her rescue saying " Come on bro its her family matter " Jake still stared at her until Anna said " Yeah Jake come on she already is in a huge mess don't complicate things for her okay " Jake looked away from Emma and nodded . He had a hard enough time trying not to corner Anna and end up kissing her . the mate pull was driving him crazy . He just wanted to claim her for himself in front of the world but again he didn't want to scare her so he was fighting within himself to try and control himself and his wolf which was going crazy inside him yelling mate every time Anna was around . He just couldn't say no to her and he had to hold himself back from ripping apart any guys head who tried to flirt with Anna . Jacob sensing what Jake was going through held his hand and gave him an understanding look as he too was going through the same thing . The only reason Jake didn't like Emma was because he was sure she was covering up something he just didn't know what or maybe it was his wolf instinct against witches but he just couldn't decide if she was in a problem or she was the problem . suddenly Emma stopped walking and closed her eyes and she looked like she was in distress . when she opened her eyes she fell to the ground crying . Anna ran to her side and asked what happened . Emma's with a teary eye said "mom she got captured and they are coming for me next " Anna looked at Jake and Jacob and said " well what do you make of this " Jake said " Maybe yours and Emma's scent is too strong and they are able to sense it . We have to go to Mr. Williams he will know what to do " Anna nodded and helped Emma up and they all ran to the bustand to catch a bus . and rush to her fathers café .
Hector sat with a serious look and finally said " Well we have to move , if they sensed Evy they can sense the two of you too, and anyways college is over " Emma looked at him and said " Who is Evy ?" Hector smiled and said " Your mom . I used to call her Evy " Anna piped up saying " What is moms real name ? " Emma said " Its Evelyn " Jacob said " Okay coming back to the point where are you going to go , There is nonplace they cant track your scent and with only one human and two witches its gonna be even easier ." Jake nodded and added "Jacob does have a point there if they could track you here they can track you anywhere " Anna said " Well we can't stay at our house they already know that we live there " Emma said " Well there is one place they can't track us " Everyone looked at her and she looked at Jake and said " well your not gonna like it but we can stay with Jake and Jacob in their pack house if their dad agrees " Jake stood up and said " What , no ways humans are not allowed , forget witches " Emma lowered her head and said to Anna " Told you he was not gonna like it " Anna looked at Jake and tried to say something but Jake said " Anna please don't ask . I can't say no to you but I am not yet alpha and the answer is no " Hector said "Well its the only way werewolves scent can cover humans scent a lot better " Anna nodded and said " Plus witches hate werewolves so they wont actually think that a witch would be hiding with werewolves "Jake looked at her and said " I know that but still I have to say no " Jacob said " Time out guys " And he dragged Jake outside and said " dude come on we have to save them "Jake looked at his brother and said " look I want to help too but seriously what are we gonna do about dad " Jacob said " I know someone who can talk to dad about this and she will be ready to help " Jake sighed and said " Fine , I know whom you are talking about , but you are gonna convince her " Jacob nodded with a " Deal " . Jake went in and said " Fine we leave tomorrow but first we need to convince a someone who can make sure our father wont kill the two of you " Hector said " he won't if he knew that you are Evy's and my daughters " Emma and Anna looked at him confused and he said " All in time ladies but first boys lets go convince that lady who can help us okay " Jake and Jacob nodded .
Leah was not a easy women to convince . Leah was Jake and Jacobs mother . she hated their father when she caught him cheating on her with another women .That was also the main reason Jake didn't want anything to do with his father though Jacob believed that it was just a misunderstanding Leah was a slender women with really pale skin . she had the same eyes of Jake that were brown but her hair was light brown. she was a little shorter than the boys as the boys towered over her a bit .Leah said " No way am I coming to your father place or wherever he is staying .He can be happy with his pretty little mistress" Jake started " Mom I don't want to see him either but don't do this for us do it for the girls please mom " Jacob piped in saying " Come on mom its been years already . Please we just need to make sure that they don't find the girls that's it " Leah looked at boys and said " Look I care about the girls as much as any of you , but going back is seriously dangerous and i cant be sure he will accept to keep the girls there " Hector finally spoke up " Leah I know why you don't want to go back . I know how you feel about going back there . But please if not for any of us at least do it for Evy " Leah eyes teared up at the mention of the girls mothers name. Hector continued " She trusted you even when no one else did she stood by you and she talked to the entire pack and convinced them to accept you as their Luna and till today they do , she risked her life for you and all I'm asking is for you to help protect her children" . Tears welled up in Leah's eyes and she looked at the girls. They both had the same nose of their mother which was practically their mothers best feature and eyes that could melt anyone's heart. She looked at Hector and said " You know I'd give my life for Evy . She was my best friend , forget friends she was like family to me. She came to my wedding even when my parents didn't , I know how you both did for me and him. She took me in when my parents threw me out and didn't ask any questions. " Hector smiled at her and said " can you please help us . You are the only one who can convince Adam. So please Leah " Leah nodded and smiled and said " For Evy anything . I'll talk to him and make sure that he'll let the girls stay and I'll see how he can say no " She turned to her kids and said " Well go pack we are leaving tonight ,and girls you girls don't pack anything we don't want your scent to be elevated " Anna asked " Tonight " Jake just came closer to her and said " Its faster if you ride on us and night is the best time we can transform" Emma said " Plus they have portals that will take us to Damina " Anna looked at her sister and said "Where the hell is that and is that really a places name " Emma nodded and said " Its ancient land meaning Lady it is the celestial land of the witches and werewolves and many more mystical creatures. But we have to cross a jungle to reach there and no GPS can track that place . Only witches and werewolves can find that place we are taught at a young age how to navigate till there" Leah nodded and said " So boys you will have to carry 2 people one girl and one adult . Can you guys manage" Jake and Jacob nodded . Hector said " Well there are almost adults so they can form into the large wolves right " Leah nodded in agreement . The boys ran off to put their suits on which can help them transform . Emma went out to the balcony and said " Hold on mom I'm coming soon". AS the boys were packing Jacob looked at his brother who had a worried look on his face . Jacob asked " You worried about facing dad again , I saw how you were the last time we went there " Jake shook his head and said " That is the least of my worries , I'm more of worried about Taking Emma to the house she is just up to, something I can feel it . Almost like she wanted us to take her there" Jacob gave a long sigh and said " Dude will you give it up nothing is wrong with her okay just calm down" Jake nodded and pulled the suit shirt over his head and said " Okay , but don't tell her about the vault." Jacob nodded and placed his hand on his brothers shoulder who did the same with a smile and they picked up their bags and started packing necessary stuff .
As night approached the entire party left the house . They caught a taxi and went up to a deserted place After the Taxi guy left though he was suspicious they looked around to make sure no one was watching and the boys finally transformed into large wolves. Leah and Emma sat on Jake and Anna and her father on Jacob . They had decided this cause they knew if it was the other way round they would not be able to run and may lose control on the way . The boys were strong enough and started to run and as they almost reached a spot Leah threw a metal ball and a swirling portal came in front of them and the boys jumped through the portal and they came into a thick jungle . the boys paused for a minute and the ball returned to their mother . She had when she left their father as a parting gift he gave her if she ever felt the need to come back though she thought that she was never gonna use it anyway. Jake and Jacob took off at full speed sniffing all the time to where they had to go tracking through the forest . The forest had no proper route and hence the wolves had to track for themselves And somehow Emma seemed to know where they were going. soon they boys reached a clearing where there was nothing but a big rock and then they rushed directly at it and Anna covered her eyes and when she opened it she looked around to see a magnificent place she saw that they were on top of a huge plain which was on a high ground and as she looked down she saw a huge palace and a kind of civilization going on down there. the palace was huge even from a far distance which was where they were. Emma looked and said " Home " Anna said " Whoa this is your house " Emma smiled at her and said " Our house " and she continued saying " see that waterfall that is the main source of our existence it is the entire water source for all of us . " Anna looked at the water fall , it fell into a huge lake of place which later became into 2 rivers facing the opposite direction one leading to the witches and the wizards and the other leading to the werewolves . Then Jacob spoke " The place where the water falls into the lake marks the territory of the witches and werewolves . Anna looked at the place where the waterfall gushed , she saw that the two territories actually faced each other . she also noticed a huge clearing which looked like it was where the waterfall started from where there was a temple kind of monument. She asked Emma " What about that place ?" Emma looked at where Anna pointed and said " That is the scared ground of the moon goddess that is where her temple stands . She is the one who gave us life and we live life according to the way she decided for us to live. That is one place where werewolves and witches are forbidden to fight. And everyone is welcome there". After the boys took a route took a right turn which descended downwards and after a pretty long run the boys stopped and panted and then they transformed back and Jake said to the girls and their father" Stay behind us the wolves don't recognize your scent yet they will presume you to be a threat" Jacob and Jake stood in front and started walking with the rest of them following . Soon Anna looked back and saw a pair of huge eyes looking at them she tugged Jakes arm and said " Jake I think your friends are here " Jake looked around and saw a huge wolf approaching them growling at the girls. Jake and Jacob pushed the girls behind them and faced the wolf . Suddenly Emma yelled " Jacob " Jacob tuned to see another wolf approaching them and he pulled Emma away and faced that wolf their parents stood too and the girls were put inside a ring of protective circle and the wolves had surrounded them and none looked too friendly. Finally Jake yelled " Stand back all of you they are friends." The wolves stopped growling and one of them came closer and transformed into a man and he bowed to Jake and said " But Your highness the girls they are witches " Jacob came near his brother and said "I know but don't worry they wont do anything , They are with us " The other wolves also transformed into their human forms and looked at each other confused . One of them said " Are you sure your highnesses" Jake nodded . The wolves still looked unsure . Leah finally lost and said " Will you let us in and if your king asks tell him that I brought them in do you get me ?" The guy she screamed at suddenly backed up and almost fell and he nodded and said "Yes Your Majesty " And he signaled the wolves to stand down and they led the way through the trees and bushes and soon enough they Arrived at a huge palace which was white in color with roofs of red and a flag with a wolfs face howling on the pointy roof tops they came to a stone bridge and the men at the entrance bowed to Jake and Jacob and their mother as they walked past and they crossed the bridge it was built so that nothing would disrupt the flow of water that flowed below it and that people could enter. the wolves brought them to the entrance of the palace and nodded to the doorkeepers and they opened the huge metal door for them .As they went inside they were taken to a huge hall and one of the wolves turned to them and said " Please wait for a minute I'll inform the alpha" Anna and Emma looked around the place . The hall was huge with a huge throne on a dais in the front of the hall and a huge chandelier hung from the ceiling in the middle of the hall. the palace was itself huge and the hall where everyone gathered was even bigger than they had imagined. Suddenly they heard Leah shout at the wolf who cowered in fear . She yelled saying " And who are you to stop me from going anywhere I want to ?" and with that she stormed towards a small number of stairs which lead to a door and pushed it open and went inside. Jake and Jacob followed in the same way with their mother and the other 3 followed them with the wolves behind them and one of the wolves ran up to Leah to request her to stop and wait for him to call the king. Through the door was the rest of the castle they were several rooms and they were on the first floor and there was a spiral stair case in each floor which lead to another floor . But weirdly on the 3rd floor there were only 3 rooms. Leah stooped near one of the rooms and stared at the wolves who were following them and they just bowed and left them alone. The rooms door was closed but without even knocking Leah just opened the door and went in followed by the rest of them .
Inside they were 2 girls who were naked and laying on either side of the huge bed with a man in between them and Leah just grew red with anger and she said " So now you moved on two girls huh ?" the moment he heard that the man pushed the girl who was kissing his neck and sat up . He wasn't wearing his shirt and the blanket covered the rest of his body. He looked up to see Leah and was stunned for a moment and then he yelled at the girls " Both of you get out of my room now " the girls quietly picked their clothes and covered themselves in the towels and ran out of the room. The man quickly used the blanket to cover himself and then said " Why didn't you inform me you were coming " As he stood up anyone could notice that he was the boys father they looked exactly the same as their father . he had the same dark black hair the boys had and a man with a strong built and a tall figure and to be sure he was a pretty handsome one to look at even at his age . He looked the same age as Hector and looked like he kept his body well maintained. he was fair skinned and he was the same height as Hector . He looked at Leah and she gave a straight reply " Like it would have made a difference I still would have to see you with at least one girl on top or under you anyway " the man opened his mouth to say something but then he noticed the two boys staring at him one with a stunned expression and the other with an angry expression. He moved around his wife and went towards the boys with a smiling face and open arms saying " My Boys " but before he could reach them Jake pushed him away and said with an angry look on his face " And when I though You couldn't lose my respect for you any more, you still managed to do it " The guys face fell when Jake shook his head he looked at Jacob for help and Jacob just gave a disappointed face and shrugged. Jake looked at his brother and said " You see what I had to see the last time our parents were together" . the man looked away and saw Hector with two girls who had turned around when they saw the scene on the bed. The Alphas bedroom was huge it contained a bed in the Centre and a walk in closet on one side of the bed and the other side had a small round Table and an 2 armchair on each side. Next to the Table beside it was a huge Glass door which opened out to the Balcony and the room was very spacious . Adam went up to Hector and said " Hey buddy " Hector gave a small smile and said " Hey Adam" Hector looked and said " I'd hug you but I guess you better put some clothes on my girls can't take it " Adam saw the two girls who were standing with their backs facing him he said " Oh... right, yeah just a minute" and he rushed into the bathroom . Jacob said " You can turn around girls " Leah continued for him saying " The nightmare is gone " . Emma and Anna slowly turned around and Anna slowly asked " Is that your father ?" Jake nodded and sarcastically said " Yep best dad in the world ". Emma looked at the boys and their mother and said " Sorry you guys had to see that " Jacob replied with a sigh " Don't be we are used to it , it's always the same though every time I think it may be different ". Adam as Hector had called him came out wearing a suit ditto to the one the boys were wearing . And he stood and said " Sorry girls didn't mean to make you feel awkward " Jake said " Really I'm not so sure about that " Jacob put his hand on his brother's shoulder and said " Give the man a break it was just a mistake ." Jake looked as his brother and nodded and stood away quietly . Adam walked over to the girls and said " Well to be honest they both look exactly like you except for that lean body . Just like Evy and they smile just the same " the girls gave a small smile and bowed to Adam . Anna knew that she had to bow to an alpha as during her training with Emma she had told her the rules and how to greet an alpha. Adam bowed to them as they were royalty too. Emma said " Alpha we are so sorry to show up so unexpectedly but we need your help and hence you were the only one whom we can trust" Adam looked at the girls and said " Evy was my friend as well from childhood , and you are her daughters . I will do anything in my power to help the two of you." Adam looked at the rest of them and said " But first why don't the rest of you go downstairs and get something to eat while why don't you girls follow me . I have something to show you " Jake stepped up and said " Well then we will come with them " Adam looked at his son and went closer to him and looked into his eyes and a shock crept up his face and he asked him " Which one ?" Jake suddenly looked away from his father's eyes . Jacob said " Dad we just wanna make sure they will be alright " At that Adams shock turned into horror and he said " Both of you , oh goddess of the moon why do you test me so " Jake said " Dad just deal with it we can't really change what the goddess decides " Jacob replied saying " you said so yourself " Adam nodded but with the same expression he said " I know but till humans was fine but witches seriously , not that I have a problem with the girls but , SERIOUSLY " Jake and Jacob rolled their eyes at their father , They came prepared for this their father though accepted and was friends with the witches he still was a little skeptical about even omega wolves mating with witches let alone his own sons who were royalty and lycans . Emma finally cut in saying " Although we have no idea what you are talking about ., I thought this was important " Anna continued stating " Guys don't worry we will be fine " Leah said " Fine take them but if you do anything with those girls I will seriously rip you " She came closer to Adam and said " Literally " Adam looked at her lovingly and said " You are still so beautiful and every time you threaten me my heart goes haywire. " Leah scoffed and said " Unbelievable" and walked out Jake looked at the girls and said " Just be careful with him " they nodded and he and Jacob left with Jacob giving a be careful look . Hector was the last to leave and he looked at the girls and said " Chill you can trust him " And he winked at Adam and left closing the door behind him. Adam walked inside his closet and motioned the girls to follow him into his walk in closet which was literally like a personal mall. It was a room which was circular and had shoes watches and clothes in every rack it was huge and had a sofa in the middle . He picked up a remote lying on the closet and pressed a combination and a small cabinet opened up and that held two necklaces with a hear on each glowing blue on each one . Adam held them one in each hand and said " You mother left these in my possession before she got captured and said that when the two of you come of age to return these to you . " He gave one necklace to Emma saying " I think your mother taught you how to use these " Emma took it and wore it and the ends of the necklace embedded into her skin . She jolted her hand a little and she conjured a long rod with a spear head at the end and from the back of the Handle elongated forming a rod with a spear head at the end of it . Emma said " finally a conjuring necklace " . Adam smiled and gave the second necklace to Anna and said " and I'm guessing your father taught you how to use a sword " Anna took the necklace and it did the same to her neck as well . She said " Yes but not with a real sword " She further asked " what is a conjuring g necklace " Adam said " Its a kind of jewellery that let's you conjure any weapon at any time " Anna held out her hand and a sword came out in her hand . She tilted it and he sword retracted back and formed a bow and a quiver with arrows came on her . Anna said " Cool " Emma said " Made specially for each witch when they come of age to suit their capability." Anna and Emma bowed to the alpha and he returned it . Then he said " Well why don't you girls go on down and I'll send someone with a pair of suits for you so that you girls can blend in and don't worry no will harm you unless I ask them too , which I will not , okay . As far as practice goes you girls can train with the wolves and use the training stadium and are welcome to stay as long as you want and let me know if you need anything " . he started to leave when Emma said " Alpha , we do have one request . Can you stop sleeping with other she wolves " Anna continued saying "It makes your wife and the boys pretty upset" Adam turned to them with a sad smile and said " Well what else can you do to reduce the feeling of being hurt of the fact that your wife thinks that you betrayed her . " And with that he led the girls down stairs and asked them to wait .
Down stairs the girls looked around to see that half the guys in the place which was again a huge hall were staring at them with very crazy look and murmuring about them and someone saying " Wow both the witches are hot " Anna and Emma shook their head and walked on trying to look for the boys . All the people were wearing the same kind of black suit that the boys had worn . A few minutes later they found the boys talking with a seven year old girl . the girl was fair and had brown hair and green eyes and was wearing a suit just like everyone else . She was pretty chubby and cute . Jake was carrying the girls in his arms and the kid seemed to be pretty comfortable with the boys and Jacob was talking to her the way any brother would talk to a little sister. The girls went closer and kid looked at them and said " Whoa they are pretty and they look exactly the same. " The boys turned around to look at the girls and Jake said " Hey girls meet Hazel " And Jacob said " And Hazel meet the witches Anna and Emma " Hazel said " Hi, How are you " The girls' replied in one voice "We are fine , how are you ? " Hazel smiled and said " Very well thank you " She looked at the boys and said " I'm kind of glad that you boys aren't identical or I'd have problems recognizing you both " Jake replied back with a smile " Oh , really . Well most of the time even now you mix up our names " . Hazel pouted and said "Well I have been in this world for 7 years still learning to pick up names , Jacob " Jake laughed and said " I'm Jake and that is Jacob " He said pointing to his brother . Hazel groaned and Jacob took her From Jake's arms and said in a playful voice " Your pretty smart aren't you " Hazel shrugged and said " Well someone in the family had to be smart . and well you dumbos are certainly not . Though the girls are" Jacob and Jake smiled and laughed a little and said " Oh , Really " . Anna and Emma found it different to see the boys smile so much which they rarely did . Hazel struggled in Jacob's arms and he got it and put her down . She walked over to the girls and jumped an little and said " show me your magic " Anna and Emma looked at each other and Anna picked up Hazel .Emma said " well what do you want to see " Hazel thought for a little and said make some animal " Emma held out her hand and made a fire wolf in her hand and Anna made a electrical wolf in her hand and the two wolves howled at each other. Hazel widened her and a huge smile came on her face and said " That was awesome " And she looked at Anna and Emma and said " Do some more " Jake came and took her from Anna and said " That's enough magic for one day run along now " And he put her down Hazel looked at them and waved and left . Emma looked at the boys and said " Please tell me that is not your step sister " Jake smiled and said " No , she is the Beta's daughter . Her mother is always sick and father always busy so she hangs with us most of the time and mom used to take care of her whenever she used to come to our house so she is pretty close to us ." Anna said " She's cute " . Just then a bunch of girls voices came from behind them all yelling " Jake , Jacob " They all turned to see a bunch of girls screaming and running towards them Jake and Jacob both said " Oh shit " And the quickly pushed the girls behind them before the all the girls trampled them with all the cards and roses and flowers that the girls had brought for them . all of them saying " Oh my god you guys are back " " we missed you guys so much " . Anna smiling and astonished at the number of girls and said " Wow you guys have a lot of girlfriends " Emma said " I lost count after a few minutes " . When the girls heard that voice all the girls gazes of tenderness shifted to the girls with jealousy . the boys had never even looked at the she wolves and they had pushed the two newcomers behind them in protection mode . then a slender girl with fair complexion brown eyes and hair and showing of her breasts came in front of the group of girls shoving them away followed with another girl who looked a little like her with the hair and complexion but with black eyes and two more behind her shoving the other girls away . The girl who came in front crossed her arms in front of her and looked the girls and said " These girls are the ones who have a crush on the boys I'm Jake's girlfriend " And the girl who was behind her that was probably her sister said " And Jacob is mine " They locked arms with the boys respectively and turned their gazes to the boys and said together " Tell them boys " Jake and Jacob rolled their eyes and released their arms from the girls and stood next to Anna and Emma and Jake said " they are not our girlfriends they are kidding " Jacob said " They believe that we are destined to marry them " . Then one of the girls asked " so they are not destined to marry you guys " Jacob and Jake shook their head . Another girl said " so they were just bluffing ". And slowly a small chuckle came about in the crowd and the girl s glared at the crowd and the first one said " But you guys spent so much time with us last time that dad told us that we were mates " Jake said " Amanda we didn't spend time with you, you guys you followed us everywhere . And you are a nice girl but I don't feel the mate pull with you " The other looked at Jacob and said " but you guys enjoyed our company right " Jacob replied " Yes Lizzy , it was a lot of fun listening to the two of talk and talk and talk ......." he said sarcastically . Jake looked at the girls and said " look girls we just like you as friends and please just stay that way okay . We don't like you as mates . So tell the Gamma to not put weird ideas into your minds that we are your mates okay " . Amanda shreiked and stared at Anna on whose side Jake was standing and said " you did this him you bitch , you stole him from me " Her sister stared at Emma and said " You are going to pay for stealing my mate " The girls tried to lunge at Anna and Emma whose hands stood ready to conjure their weapons if necessary but Jake and Jacob pushed the girls away and stood defensively protecting the girls . A deadly stare came on both the boys faces and the entire group felt themselves dropping to their knees. Emma moved closer to Anna and said " Stop Jake I'll stop Jacob . they are using their Alpha and Beta power on the group it might kill them" . Anna and Emma placed their hands on the boys shoulder and Emma said " Boys calm down " Anna whose hand was on Jake said " Its fine . we are okay " The boys calmed down . Jake looked at the girls and said " Don't even think of hurting them . they are our friends and mean a lot to us " Jacob continued " And if anyone even thinks of hurting them then remember we are warning you " Jake suddenly saw that the girls behind them were staring at them and added " Plus they are witches they can hurt you " Anna and Emma looked at each other and Anna said " okay not sure what happened here but I'm gonna go" . Emma said " Yeah me too plus your father said that he would send us some clothes so we should probably go wait for him" . And they slowly walked away from there. The rest of the girls who realized that Amanda and her sister are not mates of the boys continued talking to them in their flirtacious way as they realized that they still had a chance. But Amanda turned to see the two girls walk away and frowned at them and muttering to herself " I hate you two and you will pay for this" and Lizzy said " Ditto to that sis".
Hector was with Adam checking out which clothes would fit the girls size Hetor spoke up saying " Why didn't you just tell Leah what she saw last time was a misunderstanding " Adam pulled two suits out and said " And after what she saw today you think she will believe me " Hector shrugged and said " Yeah that on you man ." He looked at the clothes that Adam was holding up and said " They are not this small next size " Adam nodded and Conti used " Plus Leah has a right to be mad at me I haven't been exactly a great husband to her or a great father like you dude" Hector said " Listen I get it okay . When your wife leaves you it hurts and it hurts even more when your wife takes your child with her " Adam closed his eyes and sighed and said " I really wish that day that Jake had not seen me " He pulled out two more suits and said " Will these fit them " Hector looked at it and said " Yep this will be fine . Hector had a same suit on as Adam did as he needed to cover his scent as well . Hector said before Adam picked up and left " Hey dude just try and tell her okay " Adam just nodded and said " I'll try but not making any promises.
Anna and Emma walked away from the girls . Anna after they were a little further away from them asked her sister "why did it seem like Jake and Jacob were more of threatening the girls rather than telling them to not hurt us . It seemed as though they were protecting us not them from us ?" Emma sighed and said " I think they feel the mate pull towards us maybe that's why . When a mate sees his or her mate being threatened they will stand up and defend them and do everything in their power to do so . Jake and Jacob don't have control over their powers yet and that's why they used their entire power when they sensed the girls would do something to us " Anna finally spoke up and said "So you are saying that that's why we could calm them down " Emma nodded and smiled and said " Looks like you made a king fall for you Anna . You are a Luna now " Anna looked at her sister and asked "A what now ?" Emma continued " A Luna ,the Queen of the werewolves , they call their alphas mate as a Luna" Anna shrugged and said " I don't know so don't get your hopes up " . By then they saw Adam with a pair of clothes coming towards they so they shushed up to continue the conversation later.
Anna looked at herself in the mirror a little weirdly . She was in no way comfortable with the suit that Adam had given her . The same suit that was worn by the werewolves . Not that the clothes were itchy ,or too stuffy or in any way tight . She felt uncomfortable because the suit hugged her body. Anna was always used to wearing clothes which were big for her , simply speaking she tried to cover her curves . The suit perfectly hugged her curves and showed off her perfect waist and her legs which were perfect the suit was a neon blue . She was just not okay with this . Emma came in from the bathroom wearing the exact same suit but pretty comfortable. Emma said "these are not as good as the ones at my house but they should do for now " Anna looked at her dumbfounded and said " Really that's all . These make me feel like I am naked " Emma just chuckled and said " come on its not that bad " . Just then Jacob walked in and said after looking at the girls " wow you guys will fit perfectly in here you will blend right in " . The girls looked at him and then Emma said " See Anna it's fine " Anna grunted and looked at Jacob and said " Don't you have anything more comfortable and less body hugging " Jacob shrugged and said " I don't think so. But take it up with dad he might be able to help " Anna nodded and asked " where will your dad be at the moment " Jacob said " Maybe in his room complaining to his reflection what a idiot he has been " Anna said " okay thanks " and she left the room closing the door behind her . Jacob suddenly became nervous and felt a little awkward . He looked at Emma who was feeling the exact same way. Emma finally spoke up saying " what did you come here for " Jacob who was staring at her subconscious said " huh" . Emma had the exact same figure that Anna had and the suit hugged her the exact same way . Emma was stunned at Jacob as he was also wearing a suit the only difference was it was black and his features were perfect he had long legs which was the reason for his height and his abs were seen clearly and his perfect waist as well . Emma thought to herself that " Had heard that werewolves are good looking didn't know that they were actually hot and look like supermodels" but quickly brought herself back to reality and snapped her fingers in front of Jacobs eyes which brought him back to reality . And said " sorry what did you say " Emma gave a small sigh with a smile and repeated her question . Jacob said " oh right . Dad asked me to call you both for lunch " Emma nodded and motioned Jacob to lead the way . As Jacob moved to open the door Emma asked " Jacob you loved your dad didn't you ?" Jacob stopped in his tracks and said " more than anyone else. I was angry with my mother and am still angry with her for taking me away from him " Emma went near him and cupped his face and looked at his eyes they were filled with sorrow at the mention of his dad. Emma pulled his face to her level and said " I'm sorry but trust me you both will be fine " Jacob looked up and asked " both" Emma nodded and said " yeah you and your brother. I know you both loved him " Jacob released his face from her hands and said " yeah he never differentiated between us and we really loved him . The problem with Jake was that he believed what he saw , I think there is more to that than just that much".
Anna walked around trying to differentiate as to which room was the alphas . To her every room looked exactly the same . After a few minutes she pushed open a room which she thought was empty as the door was open. She came in and suddenly stopped in her tracks and her eyes widened and said " oh shit " . Jake who was just in his pants and was shirtless from the waist above turned around and looked at her . Anna who came back to her senses in a jiff turned around and said " Sorry I didn't know this was your room " Jake just smiled and said " That's cool ". Anna though she was not looking at Jake and her back was turned to him just mouthed "wow" . She actually never had seen Jake shirtless before . he looked as if he was sculpted perfectly by the gods . His waist was thin but he had a six pack and his abs were perfect . His muscles really were not budging too much but were enough to make anyone looking at him that they were in no way that they were soft and were the perfect size. and he and his brother shared their long legs . Jakes room was absolutely similar to his fathers except there was a TV On the wall and the Balcony was a little to the side . Jake just smiled and looked back the mirror and just asked " Well other than to look at me shirtless why else did you come in here?" Anna who was still turned around said " well actually I was looking for your dad " Jake pulled up the shirt which was hanging at his hips and said " That's the next one " Anna sighed and said " I can't figure out all the rooms look the same " Jake gave a small chuckle and said " It's confusing at first but you'll get used to it eventually ". Jake was standing in front of a large full length mirror and he could see Anna's reflection in the mirror as she was behind him. Jake stopped looking at himself from the moment she stepped into the room and was staring at Anna's reflection . His eyes wandered directly at her waist which was perfectly thin and he went a little lower but couldn't see the rest of it as her hair was though tied in a ponytail was covering her . He just smiled at her and pulled on the suit shirt and turned around to look at her before she left and said " If you don't mind can you zip up my shirt " Anna turned around to look at him. Though he had the shirt on it hugged his body showing off his entire features . Anna just nodded without saying anything when she was actually stunned and was left without words when she actually saw him. Jake turned around showing his bare back and Anna slowly closed her eyes and pulled the zip up . and then opened her eyes and brought herself back. She cleared her throat and said " Well can I go now " Jake said " Anna chill okay , you actually gave a better reaction than most people who see me or Jacob shirtless'' Anna grunted and said " I'm sorry I didn't mean to barge into your room or see you shirtless " Jake just smiled and said " So why were you looking for dad ?" Anna said " Well I was hoping if he had any clothes that are not so body hugging " Jake replied " I wish there were but to be honest those are the only type of clothes which will make sure that you are not recognized and also make sure that the witches and wizards don't figure out that you both are here. " Anna looked at herself in the mirror and said " Please tell me you guys don't sleep in this suit. Jake just laughed and said " Fortunately we don't , we have night suits for you guys don't worry '' he just went towards the door and opened it and looked at Anna and said " By the way you look real nice " Anna just smiled and said " Thank you " Jake gestured for her out of the room and then followed her closing the door .
Lunch at the werewolves place was actually more of like a feast with choicest of dishes as the place housed a lot of werewolves including the Royal family and their servants . Jake and Jacob Took their seats next to their father on the Left and Leah reluctantly took her seat next to the Alpha who was very happy and staring at her. Hector came in and sat beside Leah and Anna and Emma sat next to the boys more of in the middle of the Two as the boys knew that the other female werewolves would not let the two of them eat without putting something in their food. As lunch started Anna just asked Jake who was next to her ' Do every meal always have every one in the entire kingdom at the table" Jake smiled and replied "No, actually today dad announced a feast in honor of the two of You . But trust me reality he is just damn happy that mom came back even if it is for a very less time " . Emma looked at Jacob and saw that he was personally serving her and also that Amanda and her sister were shotting daggers through their eyes at them. Finally Emma said " Jacob don't worry I can serve myself and I know how much I can eat" Jacob sighed and said " I know that but I am not so sure if the girls asked the omegas to put something in their food " Jake looked at his brother and said " Stop being paranoid Jacob they will be fine plus their immune system is better than ours " . They continued then Anna spoke up saying " Why aren't the group over there eating with us " She pointed to a group of Omegas waiting for everyone to finish. Jacob replied "Cause they are omegas " Emma looked at them and said " So" Jake had to explain saying " They are servants they eat only after everyone is done " Anna said " But why the differentiation just cause they are servants . They are werewolves too " Emma agreed saying " Well they deserve to Eat as much as we do and more than us . Afterall they have been working more than us" . Jake and Jacob looked at each other and before they could say anything Anna shouted over to the group " Why don't you guys join us" The omegas looked behind if they were talking to someone else . Anna said again " I mean you guys " The omegas looked at the alpha looking for permission. Emma replied saying " The alpha said the feast is in our honor right . We would really love it if you guys could eat with us " . Adam smiled at the girls and nodded to the omegas . They all slowly grabbed a chir from the side and sat at the table bowing with gratitude to Anna and Emma. Adam moved closer to Leah and said " Looks like their mates are kind and strong " Leah looked at him and said " Well good to know that in some ways they took after me" Hector said " Adam give them some time they are still kids" Adam replied to him " Well I know that they are your daughters But come on dude don't tell me that you hate mu boys because of that" Hector said " I love your boys and I am more than happy that my girls can be with them . All I am saying is that let them decide when they are mature enough" Leah replied saying " I agree" Adam gave a nod saying 'okay'.
After Lunch the youngsters decided to play truth and dare and they invited the girls to play . Other than Amanda and Lizzy everyone else really liked the witches as they were kind , humble and mostly really friendly with everyone irrespective of their rank , A few girls were jealous but they didn't hate the girls. Jake and Jacob as usual waked away going to their rooms when suddenly Emma said " Guys wont you be playing?" Jake said " No, you guys go ahead" Anna said " Come on its just one game" the rest of the players called them too so they agreed . The game started with the bottle spinning after a few turns it finally ended on Emma the person who had to give a dare was Lizzy she gave a sinister smile and said " Emma truth or dare" Emma said " Dare" Lizzy smiled and said "okay then kiss Jake" Emma got stunned for a while . Lizzy had given this because she knew that Jake hated when girls tried to kiss him especially it would be weird if he had to kiss his mates sister so Emma wouldn't do it" Emma said " Sorry I cant do that" Jake said " Emma its fine " Emma looked at Anna and she nodded giving a okay signal . Emma came near Jake and Leaned forward and she gave him a small peck right on his forehead and came back to her place and shrugged. Lizzy said " hey, No fair" Jacob defended saying " You said Kiss didn't specify where so its valid. Lets move on" . Jake looked at Emma and smiled mouthing a thank you Emma smiled back at him acknowledging it. the spin continued and a few minutes later it ended on Jake and he chose truth . Jenny a small and short haired werewolf who had to ask, asked him a question which every girl wanted to know from him " Jake what kind of girl do you like" Jake said " I really don't know I don't really have a type " Tom a fuzzy red haired werewolf said " Come on dude everyone has a type just tell us what you look for in a girl " Jake thought about it and finally his eyes landed on Anna looking at him and subconsciously started saying " A girl who knows you as to when you are upset and when you are happy without you even telling her. The girl who is the first person you want to tell every small detail of any incident that happened to you. A girl who knows when you need a friend and when you need a girlfriend . Someone who becomes the person you need at any time. But most importantly someone who makes me feel that I want to gorge out the eyes of any guy who even thinks of staring at her." Anna looked up to see Jake staring at her and she figured out he was taking about her and smiled at him. Jake snapped out of t and said "thats it" Tom replied saying "So you want your mate to be Your Mate and your friend " Jake shrugged. Suddenly an Siren blared and the all the wolves perked up. Jake yelled " Warriors get ready to the frontier . Those who cant fight stay here " Jacob yelled at two guards at the other side "Get to the vault protect the stone" The two of them ran in the opposite direction of the way the others were running Emma said " What is going on " Jake replied saying " Rouges , the two of you stay here please" Anna said " But why we can fight" Jacob " I know but they are werewolves and you are witches they wont think twice before killing you so please stay here ". A few of the females stood back and Anna and Emma conjured their swords . They heard a few growls and wines at a far distance. But suddenly one of the girls squealed and said "They are here inside as well " The girls huddled together and Anna Emma drew their weapons as they heard a low growl . Anna turned and threw her sword at the top the head of the girl right in time to hit a large brown wolf . And it fell wincing but it stood up again and a few wolves surrounded them . annas sword retracted back to her and Anna and Emma took their stance and the wolves attacked the two of them . Anna used her sword and cut one wolf slicing its throat when it pounced and Ducked at the other one and cut the other one she quickly co jured her bow and sent one arrow and it caught the foot of one of the wolves going towards the other female wolves keeping it away from them. And Emma on the other hand Cut a wolf in the throat and then Struck the other in the stomach and then the third took her by surprise and knocked the sword off her hand Emma held the wolfs snout away with one hand and with the other reached out to her sword and kept the handle near the wolfs and transformed into a spear which when retracted went straight through the wolf killing it. She got up and saw that a wolf was going to pounce on Anna and she threw a fire ball at it roasting the wolf there and Yelled " you own me one Anna" . Anna shot one wolf and looked at Emma and sent another arrow at Emma and killing a wolf behind her and said " Now we are even " . A few wolves ran behind the Girls and Anna Yelled " Run" And they all scrambled running and Anna said " I'll take this one " You Handle the other ' Emma said " Okay " The put their weapons back and ran behind One wolf went to the pantry and one went upstairs. Amanda was in the top in Jakes room enjoying his essence. She was totally trying to smell his scent but wasn't working. She came out of her trance when she heard a growl and turned around to see a huge wolf looking at her barring its teeth. She took a step back until she hit the wall and slid down shivering the wolf prepared to pounce and she screamed but just in the nick of time Anna came before her and put up a shield and the pouncing wolf hit the shield and fell and got up and tried to get through put the shield was strong enough to hold him off . The wolf transformed back into a man who had rugged hair a big build and a beard with blue eyes and pulled out a sword and said " Fight me man to man without using your powers witch" Anna put off her shield and motioned Amanda to stay behind her. anna pulled out her own sword and took her stance Anna with all the training she had knew that if a person is bigger than you always defend don't attack. As the man charged at her Anna defended his blow. With every move or strike he made she made sure he didn't get behind her but always defended . once he came with a huge strike trying to distract her so he can get to Amanda as he knew she was weaker than Anna . Anna defensively pushed his hand and keeping his sword down kicked him on his abdomen knocking the sword from his hand and by the time he recovered revert back her she sent a Electric wave electrocuting the wolf and killing it and said " Well I'm not a man" . She rushed over and knelt before Amanda and checking her for bruises asked "Hey are you ok" Amanda nodded and said "yes" Anna after making sure she wasn't hurt helped her up and Amanda suddenly hugged her and said " Thank you and As my gratitude I swear I will never try to flirt with jake ever . He is all yours" Anna unable to get her off got a quizzical look and said " Okay, .. Thanks I guess" . Emma on the other hand was dealing with a sneaky wolf. She looked around and saw a bunch of girls and asked them to get behind her. She remembered what she had learnt from her mother that sometimes when you cant see you have to use your other senses. So she closed her eyes and listened. She heard a a panting and someone breathing from behind the closet . She motioned the girls to stay quite and opened the closet . The guy inside was turning the other side of the closet with his back facing Emma, he looked like he was trying to open something. He turned to see Emma and tried to punch her Emma moved back avoiding it . The guy came out and transformed again and pounced on her Emma moved side ways making it land on the other side and the girls screamed . The wolf moved towards Emma and Emma transformed her Sword into a spear and as the wolf tried to come against her she hit the wolf with the spear and as it came again she used the spear to ward of its bites and finally threw the wolf off and as the wolf came charging at her she threw the spear at the wolf through his mouth killing it. The wolf came to a sliding stop at her feet and Emma Pulled the Spear Out of the wolf and retracted it back to a sword and wiped it clean on the wolf . She looked back and made sure that everyone was okay. Everyone said a Thank you to Emma. Lizzy came up and said " I guess I know why Jacob chose you . You help even if a person isn't nice to you , you are different . You and your sis" Emma smiled at her and said " Hey , we women have to look after each other now don't we" . Jake and the others came in and looked around to see the wolves lying down dead he saw Emma coming and didn't need to ask what had happened. Later the group saw Anna coming down with Amanda on her back still hugging her. She came down and said " Amanda I know you are overwhelmed , but can you please get off my back " Amanda finally let go. Jacob came in rushing and said " Is everyone okay " The girls replied " Yeah " "the witches saved us " "they were amazing ". Jake looked at Jacob and he spoke into his watch " Guys they are gone , you can come back " The 2 guys who had gone came back after a few minutes" . And Emma looked at them curiously as to why they came from the pantry.
After dinner Anna sat the table silently and Emma said she was going to Bed. Since the rooms were limited The boys were to sleep in Jakes room whereas Anna , Emma and Leah ( who disagreed to sleep in the same room as Adam) were taking over Jacobs Room. And Adam had let Hector stay in his room . Hector walked into the dining room and sat beside Anna and asked " What you thinking " Anna smiled and said " Just that , am I really cut out to be a witch ?" Hector said " Well I know for a Fact that you have the same spirit as your mom " Anna said " I know dad but just that , I didn't even know that I am a witch until a few months ago and today was really crazy " Hector replied " Anna listen to me . I get that this is a new place and a new experience but that doesn't mean that you are in any way different" Anna just looked down . So Hector continued saying " You are born with more power than you realize, so use your power but also use caution. Okay because with great power ....." " ....Comes great responsibility, I know dad " Anna finished saying Hectors favorite quote. Anna said " But still dad I'm not sure if I belong here or somewhere else . I didn't know mom ever so I don't know what I am supposed to be or rather who I am supposed to be " Hector said " Anna just be yourself and trust me you will fit in both the worlds. Trust me you will find your place when you find your reason." Anna asked " And what if I never find the reason " Hector said " Then it will find you " Hector got up to leave and Anna asked him " Dad do you still miss mom " Hector stopped in his tracks and said " Not a day goes by when I don't wish she was here." Anna said " In spite of belonging to different worlds ?" Hector turned and said " Our worlds were different not our hearts . And I fell in love with who your mother was not what she was. You'll get it when you meet that one person, nothing else matters." Hectors smiled at his daughter and left . Anna continued to sit there until Hector came back to pick up his phone which he left and said " If you are confused go near the river that always seems to calm me down , and trust me its beautiful" Anna nodded and Hector finally left the room.
Anna walked down to the place where the werewolves had said the river was she had to take the back entrance and walk a little further across the large clearing which was used by the wolves to hold any kind of functions where they invited other packs to join them . Anna crossed the clearing and walked until she saw a place where there were a bunch of trees and a little into them she heard the sound of the river. As she went near she saw Jake leaning against a tree and standing staring at the river. Anna came closer and said " Sorry didn't know the place was already occupied" . Jake turned around to see Anna and smiled and said "It's fine you can stay too " Anna walked over and asked " Do you want to be left alone " Jake answered looking returning to his original position " Actually I don't mind the company" . As she walked over to him he straighten up and then sat down under the tree and motioned Anna to join him . Anna sat down next to him and they sat quietly for some time . Finally Anna spoke up " A penny for your thoughts". Jake sighed and said " I don't get as to how the rouges found out where the stone was hidden and where to look for it " Anna looked him and asked " Okay so you are worried that the 'rouges' as you call them would have stolen a rock from your palace" Jake looked at her and said " Not a rock the moon stone " Anna said " Okay , Then explain what the moon stone is " Jake said " Okay , Well its actually more of a legend " Anna looked at him like an eager puppy . Jake just smiled and started " Legend has it that long back witches , wizards and werewolves lived together in harmony and peace was over the land . until one time dark forces attacked the land . The dark forces were shadowy figures which used to use a person as a host and while it gave the person immense power it also drove him to madness to possess and turn his own people against their own . Anyone who the Dark forces intend to posses will be turned into a Dead warrior a person with no mind of their own and just follow the orders of the person who acts a host to the Dark forces. The Dark forces chose the most impure person to use as a Host to dictate their orders to the dead warriors. Anyone who stood up to them ended up being a dead warrior. After losing many of their people the elders and the royals prayed and begged the moon goddess Serena to help them . The Goddess seeing the plight of them, Agreed to help them . She used her powers to create a celestial round gem called the moon stone . The stones radiance and power pulled the dark forces out of the people and return them to normal and destroying the dark forces. The people rejoiced and the stone was kept in the temple that was made for the Goddess for generations together and the people celebrated the day it was made every year known as the moon festival depicting the victory of good over bad." Anna said " Wow so do you still celebrate the festival and if everyone lived in harmony why do you guys hate each other now" Jake said " Because one fateful day the royals sensing that the stone possessed great power fought over the possession of the stone and in the struggle the stone fell and broke into two as the stone broke the Dark forces returned. But they realized that the stone still had power in them and hence each took one piece. Since that day werewolves and the magical folk have been enemies. " Anna asked " Why didn't anyone try to join them ?" Jake replied " Because its not that easy the stone also posses the power to enhance the character of the person who tries to join it is also very powerful for any witch ,wizard or werewolf to withstand the power of joining it not impossible but its difficult as the stone emanates a very strong force. Also enhancing the persons character would make him or her a perfect host for the Dark power . If that happens then the moon stone will turn as a weapon for the Dark forces to literally rule the world. " Anna asked again " I don't get it " Jake said "fine give me your hand " Anna looked at him in a way asking why Jake just looked at her and said " trust me " Hesitantly she gave him her hand and he continued " No person is so pure as to never have any bad character . So..." he took her hand and placed it in a way his palm and her palm faced each other and he said " just like our hands the stone is in two parts right " Anna nodded and jake entangled his fingers with hers and continued saying " once joined together like our hands the stone will enhance that character to the full extent and that turns him completely impure . Just how the goddess being pure made the stone full of purity hence a person with even an once of impure energy will turn the stone impure making it really dangerous " Anna just looked at him and smiled , looking at that Jake said " What " Anna just shook her head and said " I just loved the way you explain it " Jake just smiled in response. Anna further said " So in short no one but the moon goddess can join the stone " Jake nodded and said " Well that's the problem no one has been able to invoke the goddess after the stone broke as we disobeyed her wishes. " Anna asked " Is the absolutely no way to invoke the goddess ?" Jake said " Well there is a prophecy that the eldest royal who surrenders the stone with sanity, will be able to invoke the deity . But no one has been able to understand what it means. " Anna just sighed and said " Well as long as the stone pieces are safe I guess we all are safe" Jake just nodded in Agreement. After a while Anna said " Jake Can I have my hand back please" Jake looked at her quizzically and in response Anna lifter her hand . Jake realized that he never let go of her hand. He said a quick apology and released her hand.
Jacob went down to the pantry and opened the fridge and a apple fell out he caught it and put it back in and then he rummaged through the fridge looking for something. Suddenly he heard a voice in the dark saying " You looking for this " Jacob almost jumped out of his skin . He turned around to see Emma sitting on the table eating ice-cream out a tub . He grabbed a spoon and joined her on the table and said " You scared the hell out of me " He took a spoon full of ice cream and asked her " What you doing here?" She replied saying " New place so can't sleep . What about you ?" Jacob said " Couldn't sleep without ice cream " Emma after a while said " Jacob your piece of the moon stone is in a vault right " Jacob stopped with the spoon halfway to his mouth and said " Emma I really can't tell you its a secret okay" Emma nodded and continued eating and then said " Jacob I can trust you right " Jacob nodded with his spoon in his mouth. Emma took her bag which was on the chair and took out the green jewel and showed it to Jacob. Jacob was stunned and said " Is that ..." Emma nodded and said " a piece of the moon stone " Jacob looked around to make sure no one was watching and said " Why do you have it ' Emma said " Cause some people are behind it that why my mom went missing . So I had to save the piece so that's why I took it with me" Emma put the stone back into her bag and said " Jacob you cant tell anyone okay please " Jacob nodded . Emma added " Not even Anna and Jake okay " Jacob said " But.." but Emma cut him short saying " Jacob please" He finally agreed. Jacob looked around and said " Okay Emma you are right okay our moon stone piece is in the vault." Emma nodded and said " The one the in the pantry closet right " Jacob looked at her bewildered . Emma smiled and said " I heard the rouge trying to access it". Jacob said " Emma do you want to see it" Emma said " Are you not afraid that I might steal" Jacob said " If you wanted to steal then I guess you would have done it by now . Plus you showed me yours by trusting me so now I am trusting you . So please don't break it oaky " Emma smiled and nodded back to him . And he beckoned her to follow him.
Jake sat under the tree and after a while he said " Anna maybe we should go in" He received no answer He looked to his side and saw that Anna had fallen asleep on his lap . He called one more time she just shifted in her place and turned so as to face him if he was looking down. She looked so peaceful sleeping that he didn't have the heart to wake her. It also took his entire persistence and strength to stop himself from bending down to kiss her but stopped himself. He sat the same way for a while he looked down at her and thought to himself " I don't get it Anna but it's always difficult to tell you how I actually feel about you. The truth is Anna I like you actually I think I'm in love with you. But the only thing is I'm scared as to what you will say to be honest I am scared of getting hurt. The mate pull gets stronger day after day but again I know that you also need time as the mate thing is new to you . But every time I try to tell you I freak out . These feelings were something that even I couldn't understand and I thought that it was just infatuation but now I know that I really do feel for you but again Anna I want to be your friend for a lifetime and never and nothing to change that no matter what our relationship. I know that we differ a lot in many things I'm always serious and you are way too cheerful . I assume the worst and you see the best in everything. By the way everything I said in the game was about the way you are." . Maybe he imagined it but he saw Anna shift and smile a little and turned to her side . Jake smiled and laid his head back on the tree and closed his eyes and due to the fighting the rouges and everything exhaustion took over him and he dosed off.
Jacob and Emma quietly went near the vault . Jacob told her to hide behind the curve as there were wolves guarding the vault and then he came back and signalled her to come with him and they went near a huge vault with a number lock and a fingerprint scanner. Emma said "Wow there are more locks here than back in my house" Jacob shrugged and said "Well we cant do spells or use magic freely so we take the precautions that we can." Jacob typed in a code and scanned his fingerprint and the vault opened with the metal doors sliding inside revealing a huge cave with rocks all around and in the middle within a laser beams forming a kind of cage around it was the other half of the moon stone. It was green with a half part due to being broken one side was a little zigzag. But other wise the stone shone bright illuminating the big cave . The cave had a opening on the top for ventilation and it was necessary as the vault was underground. Emma said " Wow cant believe that once upon a time the stone was whole and we all lived in harmony" Jacob smiled and went down on his knees and then sat on his legs which were bent and Emma followed the same suit. And they both sat there looking at the stone. Emma finally broke the silence and said " I wish there was a way to bring back the way it was before . My mother used to tell me that it was a much peaceful time when she was a little girl and especially the moon festival I hear was really amazing. " Jacob gave a small chuckle and said " Yeah my dad used to tell me too. I too wish there was a way to bring it back too " Jacob looked at Emma " But that depends on both of us " Emma smiled and said " You are the beta and you said your brother is older and will be alpha, and when it comes to me well in that case my sister will take over the throne after my mother so basically I think it depends on them both not on us " Jacob who was still looking at her said " who says that the alpha decided who I chose as my mate" Emma finally shifted her eyes to Jacob and smiled and said " So have you chosen yet " Jacob replied with his eyes fixed on hers " Yeah but not really sure if she will accept me " Emma moved closer to Jacob and said " If the moon goddess paired you the it must be for a reason " Emma moved even closer till her lips met Jacobs . Jacob got so lost in their kiss that he put his hand s and Emma's waist and pulled her closer and closed his eyes. Emma intertwined her fingers with his He was so lost until he heard a voice in the kitchen. So he pushed Emma Away and said " we have to go , by the way please let this be our secret cause I am not allowed to show the vault or the stone to anyone. " Emma nodded and they both sneaked into the kitchen and were a little relived to see that it was just Anna. Anna looked at them and and seeing Jacobs hair all ruffled and Emma's Lipstick a little messed up asked " What the hell did you two do " Emma looked at Jacob and then said " Nothing special we just ....." Anna stopped her and said " You know what I don't really want to know." She went near the fridge opened it took out a bottle of water and said " I might be older than you Emma but I guess you have the right to make out with anyone you want ." While she was walking out she said " Just use protection ". Emma just smiled at Jacob and went behind Anna saying " We just kissed we didn't make out " And in the distance heard Anna say " Still Counts " Jacob smiled and grabbed his ice cream and went to his brothers room " There he saw that Jake was already inside playing the x box. When he saw Jacob he threw a controller at him inviting him to play. Jacob picked up the controller and asked Jake " Where were you bro? " Jake replied stilled glued to the game " Near the Lake Anna fell asleep and I dosed off too " Jacob said " Oh Okay " And continued playing . After a while Jake asked " Did the mate pull get the better of you " Jacob not wanting to hide from his twin brother said " Got the better of both of us " Jake smiled and put down his controller with the screen flashing game over and Jacob did the same . Jake got up and took the remote and said " Well what happened " Jacob just shrugged and said "Well we just kissed at the moment" . Jake just nodded in a approving way and then just wished Jacob a good night and went to sleep as Jacob laid down next to his brother Jake said " Please tell me you didn't show her the vault " Jacob suddenly froze but when he saw that his brother was not looking at him he said " Of course not " But if Jake was looking at his face he would have found out that his brother was lying. Anna and Leah lay Asleep on different beds which Leah had made sure the servants had placed in the same room next to each other and Emma was awake staring outside the balcony and said To herself " The Time has come. I'm coming for you mom I promise I'll get you out ".
As the sun rose it shined its light on Annas face and she tenderly opened her eyes. She sat up and stretched her arms and looked to her side Emma was still asleep . She shook her head and thought to herself ' Looks like the princess was sleeping comfortably after a really long time. She looked around for Leah but saw that the bed next to her had a ruffled up quilt and the pillow looked like it had been slept in. Annas eyes wandered around the room and it landed on Emma's backpack she never knew why Emma intended to hide the contents in it from her. She shook her head , got out of bed and went to the washroom to get ready for the day. Anna and Emma finally came down to see that the pack house was already bustling at the breakfast table and the girls took their places soon and this time the alpha had invited the omegas to join them as well . Breakfast started and Anna started talking with a really tall guy next to her . She learnt his name was Jackson and one of the pack warriors . Anna saw that he was fair skinned and strawberry blonde hair and really deep blue eyes. All in all he was damn good looking. She was so engrossed in talking to him that she didn't realise Jake 's angry stares at them . Jake was staring in such a way that if looks could kill Jackson would have died a 100 times by now. Jake calmed when his brother pulled him case and said " Dude stop , Your starting to attract unwanted attention and it wont be long before she realises what is happening". Jake turned away and concentrated on his food but his mind still wondering about Anna.
Anna didn't really realize that she was actually hurting Jake until she finally saw him staring like crazy at them and finally when he couldn't take it anymore he got up and walked away. Jackson saw him walking away giving him his "stay away from my mate " look . He continued looking at Jake walk away and said " Looks like your mate is pretty pissed you are not giving him attention " Anna said " What Jake is not my mate " Jackson turned to face her and continued " Yes he is and you are interested in him too . But again its natural " Anna gave him a sarcastic look and rolled her eyes , Jackson said " Look I have known Jake since childhood he doesn't really understand others feelings or share his feelings with anyone but with you he cares. He worries about you and that day with the rouges he was not really into fighting but rather was trying to make sure they didn't get in . Plus he rushed in the minute he saw someone go in . " Anna said " Well whet makes you think that he ran in for me and not for someone else " Jackson just laughed a little and threw his head back and said " Well Jake thinks he is tough and stuff but he is pretty easy to read . I and his brother know what he thinks and also what he feels . But again it's going to take a miracle for him to confess to you". Anna looked at Jackson and said " Well he must be a little vulnerable I mean I have seen him. " Jackson said " He is but again he never shows it . He just has a little problem with understanding what the person in before him intends and due to that he choses to ignore the person . That the other reason he likes you he understands you and the same way you understand him as well , You understand everyone well so to him you are perfect as you can help him to understand the pack better. Be with him now Anna , Be his strength or else you will become his weakness" Anna thought about it and said " Damn Jackson you are too good and you managed get even me emotional sometimes " Saying that she got up and ran towards the lake, she knew Jake would be there.
Emma walked the empty ground behind the Mansion with Jacob even after the vault incident they still remained good friends . She and Jacob walked holding hands enjoying their quiet moment . Emma after a few minutes spoke up saying " What does your brother think about this relationship " Jacob intertwined his fingers with her and said " Well to be honest he doesn't know yet . But don't worry he wouldn't be against it " . Emma looked at him and said " You haven't even told him how you so sure . Also I'm pretty sure your brother hates me" Jacob stopped and held her face and said " Hey he doesn't hate you, he just has a problem trusting people that's it " Emma sighed and said " I get it its just that even in your own house we have to secretly date " Jacob looked at her surprised and said " It's because you said you wanted to feel the thrill of secretly dating " Emma smiled and turned back to her previous position and said " That's mostly because everything I do back home is chosen for me , That's why I feel at ease when I do something of my choice secretly" Jacob gave a small chuckle and said " I get it , so don't worry I'll be as patient as you want and I want you wait until we are ready to be with each other as mates, until then i hope its okay to be friends " He held out his hand for her . She took his hand and as they continued walking her smiled disappeared . She felt so safe with him he made her feel alive again and that she was always protected but she knew that she never could be with him . She thought to her self ' I wish that too if only it was possible '. After a while Emma sat at a small tree stump and Jacob sat next to her . Emma said " Jacob I just want you to know that no matter what I do I have a reason for it . So please I want you to trust me " Jacob said " Emma I do trust you okay but all I ask is please don't break it" Emma nodded smiling a little nervously .
Hector was near the Lake by the time Jake reached the lake . " Sorry didn't mean to disturb you was just looking for quiet place for the minute " Jake said when he saw that Hector had seen him . Hector just smiled and beckoned him to join him . Jake walked over and sat beside Hector and they both sat in silence and then later on Jake suddenly asked " Sir how exactly did you propose to your wife " Hector was taken by surprise when Jake asked the question and then asked him " Having problems or Just like that " Jake gave a sad smile and said " Both" Hector said " Well if you are asking just like that I called her over to a dinner in our backyard and then proposed to her by putting a ring into her dessert. " Jake said " Wow that sounds like a lot of effort for a girl " Hector replied " Yep but to be honest she was worth it . You see Jake when you are in love with a person truly every effort you make seems like nothing when you see that person smile " Jake asked " But how do you know if that person likes you back or not " Hector said " That's pretty easy kid, If she is happy with no matter how less you do for them and understands you no matter if you tell them or not then You know that that the person loves you " Hector continued " I know that Evy loved me because she accepted to dance with me in spite of knowing how terrible I am at dancing and also knowing about the fact that I possibly might step on her feet" Jake laughed along with Hector . Hector said later " About the fact of proposing to a girl be or at least try to be truthful about your feelings to her and also its okay to be vulnerable to her it doesn't matter how much preparation you do the thing any girl will appreciate the most will be the fact that guy is not afraid to show his real self to her" When Hector finished Jake said " Its not easy to do that and when it comes to me I don't show my feelings to my own family then how to someone who is not even connected to me". Hector said " Well Jake no one can share all their feeling to their family . That's why we find a soulmate who understands us no matter what " Jake said " Well , Thanks for that sir ". "wow that's some solid advice dad " , Hector and Jake turned when they heard Anna's voice . Hector smiled and said " Well Jake I enjoyed the company but I think you should probably talk to some one more of your age . I'm just an old guy who has a pretty old fashioned way of thinking Right " He said so and winked at Jake and as he passed Anna he just patted her cheek and left smiling to himself .
Jake turned back and sat back looking at the water Anna just came and stood near the tree which was behind him and said " Are you kinda mad at me " Jake replied without even looking at her and said " No, Why would you think that " Anna replied and said "Cause I think you are mad or the water ripples are causing your face to look like that " Jake turned to see she was standing near him allowing her to see his face reflection in the water of the river. Jake just stood up and said " I'm sorry its just you haven't been talking to me lately as much as you usually do and with Jacob with Emma all the time I kinda feel lonely so Maybe a little bit mad at you for isolating me . But again I don't blame you at all I mean you are pretty friendly so well people like to talk to you so don' t worry" Anna came closer to him and asked " Are you sure that's the only reason you are mad nothing to with the fact that you like me " Jake froze for a minute and said " What ! I don't like you I mean as a friend I do nothing else " Anna just smiled to herself and said " Really, because last time we were here I'm quite sure I heard you say something like ' The truth is Anna I like you actually I think I'm in love with you.' " . Jake looked at her stunned and said " When did I say that " he was trying to sound normal but his expressions clearly showed his shock. He clearly remembered that Anna was asleep when he had said that so he wasn't really sure as to how Anna had heard that . Anna replied almost as if she had herd his thoughts and said " Come on Jake just cause I was asleep doesn't mean that I couldn't hear you " Jake relaxed his face and said " I did not say anything like that . I guess you must have imagined that . God Anna you really have a very wild imagination" Anna looked at him with a small smile and said " Really , well if I really was just imagining then I guess I will just go back and hang out with Jackson . By the way I think he kinda likes me. Well see you later Jake " The minute Jake hear Jackson's name he literally didn't hear anything else he used his super speed and cornered Anna Against the tree she was previously leaning against and looked into her eyes and said " Don't ever go near Jackson again and tell him if I see him with you again I will rip his throat apart literally". Anyone else in that position would have cowered in fright but not Anna she seemed pretty composed and looked at Jake in such way which made him feel uneasy as anyone else would have been scared and he didn't know what Anna was thinking or what that look she had on meant . Anna put her hands around his neck and pulled him closer and said " Why are you so bothered by Jackson and me unless you like me like a lot ". Jake tried to pull away but he realised Anna was not letting go . So he just looked away and said " Nothing like that " Anna replied saying " Then why is the big Alpha looking away " . Jake tried pulling away again but he realised that Anna had a pretty strong hold on him . He finally said "Okay let me go and I'll tell you why ". Anna smiled and let go and said " Okay now tell me , You like me don't you " Jake just walked back a little and without looking at her just nodded. She went towards him and lifted his head to face and asked " Then why didn't you say anything for so long ?" jake replied " Isn't it obvious anna was scared of getting hurt . Also you are one of my best friends and I didn't want this to ruin our friendship. So I just pushed my feelings inside hoping that the feelings would just stop until we were 18 when I realised that you were my mate " Anna nodded " Right the soulmate thing . You felt it and knew what it was . I didn't even know why I hated it every time someone got too close with you for no reason" Jake stunned looked at her . She continued " Jake if anyone should be scared it should be me " Jake asked " Why " Anna went near the river and looked into the empty space and said " Because you technically are the heartthrob of the entire school and now you are royalty of the were wolves and I am just me " Jake came up behind her and hugged her from behind and placed his chin on her shoulder and said " Why do you think I like you Anna no matter how much you are humble. The major quality of any ruler and if I want someone to rule beside me then you were perfect. I just didn't want to lose a friend " Anna looked at him and said " Well what made you think that just cause we are in a relationship we wouldn't be friends ". Jake just shrugged so Anna turned to him and just gave Jake a peck on his lips and said " Jake no matter what our relation we will always be friends " Jake just smiled put his hands on Anna's waist , pulled her closer and kissed her. Anna just put her hand on his cheek and after a few minutes they pulled away and smiling their foreheads touched . Jake asked in the same position " So how you gonna break it to Jackson " Anna just moved away and sat near the river and Jake joined her . Anna looked at him and said " When was the last time you actually met with the pack " Jake thought for sometime and said " I don't know . I think I was 11 or 12 , my parents divorced after that we went to live with mom and came over once in a while " Anna nodded and said " Huh, that explains why you know so little about you pack . " Jake looked confused and said " Meaning " Anna said " Well when I used the line I really didn't think you will fall for it ." Jake still looking confused at her and she said " Jackson is gay . He is not interested in women or she wolves " Jake mouthed a 'WHAT' and looked shocked and said " Wow I never would have guessed that . But he told me that his mates name is Angie" Anna laughed a little and said " Yeah , Angie is short for Angelo. The pack general " Jake just threw his head back and said " You are telling me that Angelo is gay " Anna shook her head and said " No Angelo is Bi" Jake said " Okay now I feel I really don't know my pack " He looked Anna and then both burst out laughing like the way they always used to.
Emma slowly went to the pantry and opened the fridge being slightly cautious about her surroundings . She looked around d to make sure no one was watching her and after she made sure she closed the fridge and moved in with a determined look on her face.
A Siren rang out alerting the entire pack and Jake stood up . Anna who was right next to him asked " whats wrong " Jake looking g around said " someone breached our security near the vault . Jake held Anna's wrist and ran with her to the pack house. All the wolves had already reached near the pantry and many more were running towards the vault . Jake moved through all the wolves and was shocked to see the vault open . He took no time in waiting and rushed to see the wolves who use to guard the vault lying unconscious on the floor . Jake looked up at the stand holding the moon stone empty and saw someone shoot up an arrow attached to a rope . Jake k ow who it was and transformed into a wolf and lunged at the person but the person had already pulled at the bow and hence the rope which was a grapple hook wizzed them up . As they reached the top of the vault which was open on the top the moon light eliminated their face . Anna looked at the thief's face ' Emma ' Anna didn't have time to reach . She co jured her bow and shot an arrow with the rope acting as her grapple hook and wizzed herself up to . Emma had already started running away and Anna followed her. Emma looked back to see Anna behind d her . She knew her twin sister was fast enough to catch up to her so she quickened her pace and when they reached near a clif side she put her fingers to her mouth and whistled without stopping . Out of nowhere a huge griffin came and Emma jumped and landed on its back . Anna saw that the griffin was starting to move away quickly she jumped and caught on to the griffins front claw and started dangling and with one hand pulled at the backpack that Emma was wearing and it came off her half way . Emma grabbed on to the back pack and yelled at the griffin " Don't drop her" the Griffen screeched back in response .Jake who had returned to his human form started running following the griffin so that he could catch her Anna if she fell even though he knew he wouldn't make it in time Emma looked back at Anna and yelled back " Anna let go of my bag I need to do this " Anna who was still pulling at her bag said " Why , Why are you doing this " Emma just sighed and said " You would understand if it was dad " When Anna heard this suddenly the bags strap on which Anna was holding onto snapped making her dangle on the griffins claw and her grip on the griffins claw was slowly lossening until finally her fingers couldn't take it anymore and she let go if it's claw and she fell from that height screaming and she wouldn't fall on the cliff but even below at the large stone paved river bed . Emma and Jake both yelled " NOOO" . Just before Anna came into compact with the ground a large brown wolf jumped and caught her mid air and skill fully managed to land on its feet in the river avoiding the stones . Anna at that moment had closed her eyes and when she opened them she saw Adam holding her . She looked into his brown eyes which looked concerned and said in between pants " Thank you Alpha " Adam nodded and said " You okay kiddo" . Adam knew that everyone was running on the cliff and if Anna feel away from the cliff there would be no one to catch her so he had raced down to the river and was following the griffin from there. He may not have been a great father or husband but he was an amazing alpha he had foresightedness. Anna nodded at his question and looked up to see her father ,Jake and Jacob and a few other wolves all looking down a bit relieved that she was alive and she signaled a thubs up to all of them that she was alright . She stood up and looked at the griffin flying away . She felt both hurt ,confusion and betrayal.
On the other Emma who was flying on the griffin was relieved that her sister didn't fall to her death and that the alpha had caught her . She sighed and said clutching her chain " I'm sorry guys " she looked to the griffin and said " To the castle Sally " The griffin who was Sally transformed screeched back in response and glided to the castle on the witches side.
Adam carried Anna back to the top of the cliff where she meet her father who hugged her followed by the boys who were really concerned about her . After a few minutes Jake looked at Jacob and asked " Are you okay " Jacob confused looked at his brother and said " Yeah , Why " Jake didn't say a word and punched his brother right in his face which made Jacob move back a few steps . The minute Jacob moved back the pack with was nearby moved away as if they knew what was going to happen . Jacob turned back and without a word transformed and lunged at Jake . Jake anticipating this transformed as well ,and soon two big wolves one black and one brown were fighting each other. This kinda stunned Anna as well because no matter what Jake was protective of his brother and she had never thought that Jake would actually hit Jacob . She looked around and not a single person was trying to stop them . Anna looked at Adam and said "Why isn't anyone stopping them ?" . Adam said " The pack knows no one can stop these two except .." Adam stopped midway and looked around. The boys were literally trying to kill each other until a shrill female voice yelled " Boys , stop fighting this instant'' The wolves stopped and got off each other and stood at a distance and growled at each other . Leah who had yelled at the boys came in the middle and glared at the two wolves and said " Now both of you explain yourselves " The wolves turned back to their human forms and Jacob started by saying " He punched me mom for no apparent reason " Jake looked at him like he would kill and said " No apparent reason . You showed her where the moon stone was you moron . " Jake yelled at his brother " Jacob yelled back saying "how was I suppose to know that she would steal it for gods sake" . Jake retorted by saying " She is a witch , what were you expecting . You know what will happen if even one of the witches tries to join the stones." Jacob sighed and said " I know but I really thought we could trust her " Jake just signed and said " come on, really, trust a witch ?" Anna said " hey , Come on I am a witch " Jake said replied " Sorry Anna I didn't really mean it like that " Anna said " Really " She just shook her and continued " Anyway I still think that you really shouldn't have shown her that vault or at least not shown her how to open it " . Adam ordered " Okay everyone back to the pack house . Anna , Jake , Jacob , Leah and Hector I want to meet you all in my study"
Back in the study which was a huge room with a large desk and a couch opposite . Adam sat at the chair behind his desk Anna and hector sat next to each other on the couch Jake and Jacob sat in chairs which usually were opposite to Adam but were now a little disarrayed and they actually were sitting with their legs the other way round as in where their chin could rest at the chair back and Leah sat on the window sill which had a cushioned side . Finally Adam spoke up " well how did she open it , it opens with finger print of only the royal family " after a small pause Anna asked " Jacob did Emma ever hold your hand , You know intertwined her hand with you " Jacob nodded and Anna huffed and said " I guess I know how she opened it " Hector looked this daughter and said " How" Anna replied " I remember Emma telling one time that Witches can copy or rather imprint anything they touch including a persons fingerprint so I'm guessing she kinda imprinted Jacob's fingerprint " Jacob said " well so its not entirely my fault " Jake replied to him saying " You still showed her the code idiot " Leah snapped " Will the two of you stop and think what are we going to do to get the piece back " Hector replied " Ask Emma to give it back maybe " Everyone else looked at Hector and Leah said " Hector I know that she is your daughter but I hardly think that she is going to be so nice to give it back to us " Hector said "I know that it's just I think she did it for a reason so if we can convince her that returning the stone would be a better way to work things out then maybe she would return it " Anna said " Dad if that was the case she wouldn't have stolen it in the first place" . Jake said " Well Anna I get your point but we want too avoid a war as much as they do and if we just get the piece back then maybe the pact between the two clans still stays and we can avoid any kind of casualties and damage" Adam said " Sensible we can try that but we have to send a message to Emma only , if Hector is right then maybe Emma is been forced to do this and we can't let that person know it" Anna said " Okay we'll try it , after all she did say I would understand if it was dad so I am guessing that it probably has something to do with our mother" Leah's had the final vote and looking at everyones face sighed and finally said " Fine , but how are we so sure whoever is making Emma do this won't try to join Both the stones before we get a message to Emma " Anna said " Ohh , you don't have to worry about that . That is not going to happen " And she smiled sneakily to everyone s confusion " Jacob finally said " Anna I know that look . What did you do ?" Anna just smiled at him.
Emma ran the minute Sally landed and retorted to her human form right in front of the palace . Emma ran through the castle front large door not even noticing the guards who bowed to her she ran with Sally behind her in a long red Hooded cloak . She raced all the way to the throne room she burst open the long doors and stopped panting and finally raised her head to look at the man in front of her who was sitting on the throne pretty lazily with his feet on one of the arms of the chair and his head on the other . The crown which he wore was actually hanging on the pointy head of the throne. Emma looking at his posture knew she had to choose her words carefully. as the man heard footsteps he looked to the side and seeing Emma walking towards him smiled and got up to sit straight in the throne and look at her . She looked around him and saw a gold goblet with wine lying on the floor. As he sat up one could see his features matched Emma a little . He had white hair due to age but a pretty lean with a tall figure . he towed over a lot of people . Fair skinned but intimidating Black eyes. He shared Emmas leans and hair which was straight .
Emma reached near the throne took off her backpack and went down on one knee and bowed her head to him and said " Your Majesty ". David , as was the man's name stood up and extended his arms and said with a smile to Emma " Come on Emma won't you even hug your grandfather" Emma looked up and said " Can we skip the pleasantries Grandfather and get to the reason I am here" Hearing her word he put his hands down and looked at Sally who gracefully bowed out of the room leaving Emma with him alone.
Once Sally left David extended his hand to Emma and said " The Bag Emma " Emma threw the bag to him and he caught it . he opened the bag and said " well done Emma you steal pretty well " Emma looked away David looked around in the bag and continued saying " But you tend to get your things stolen too " Emma looked back at him and said " What does that mean" David looked at her and said " You got the werewolves stone but not our piece of the stone". Emma was really wondering what he was saying as she had made sure that the piece was there when she left the place , In reply to her amusement he showed Emma her bag which had one part of the entire stone that was the werewolves but her piece of the moon stone was there but it was just a shiny rock covered in green moss . Emma was shocked as to how , as the wolves could not touch the stones neither could humans it would have burnt them then how could someone have replaced it. Finally she got it and closed her eyes and muttered "Anna " . When David heard the name he said His smile disappearing " Your sister is kinda smarter than you are Emma she outsmarted you guess your own family rather your twin didn't trust you. I was an idiot to " Emma stepped back as her grandfather approached her . He came close enough to her and held her hand and then his hair turned green indicating he was activating his power and soon enough Emma stated to choke like she was drowning but is not able to die and felt shooting pain in her hand as Davids pressure on her hand was increasing . She looked at him with paining her eyes and he said with his sinister voice " I trusted you to do things for your mother but looks like you don't really love her " Emma in between chokes " I'll..... get the other .....piece .....I promise" David smiled and let go of her hand and Emma fell coughing . David was a water wizard Not considered very powerful but he had mastered the power in a way that allowed him to drown a person just by holding their hand . His power worked on any witch or wizard except his father Emmas great grandfather who was a powerful and just ruler . He had always criticised David for being ruthless and using his power for wrong means. So the day his father died David had killed his younger brother the one whom his father had left the throne to and ascended on the throne himself and since then ruled with fear and intimidation and due to this power no one opposed him especially the ones who could . Emma and her mother were both fire witches and their powers major wipeout was water so they couldn't stand up to him or go against him as he could both kill and take off their power.
Emma finally asked when David had returned to his previous position " Can I at least see mom " David put his one hand on his closed eyes and with his other hand he waved at Emma to go ahead. Emma bowed and ran again out of the throne room the hall and upstairs to the second floor of the castle and and at the top there were three rooms she ran to the last one which was guarded by two guards who bowed to her as she came close they opened the large doors and beyond the doors there were prison bars which one of the guards opened for her with his fingerprint scanner at the side . David was careful as he didn't want his daughter to escape he had made sure that the guard appointed were loyal to him and also that Emmas fingerprint was not exactly loaded to open the bars of the room. The room was huge with a walk in cupboard to one side and a balcony on the other side it also had a table and a sofa to one side of the room opposite was a bed right in front of the cupboard . As Emma went in she looked around the large room and saw her mother frail figure in a white loose fit gown and a scarf around her on the balcony which was also barred. Evy or Evelyn was still the tall woman with beautiful green eyes and face but being stuck in a room and being imprisoned in a room with enchanted to make sure she couldn't use her powers had taken a toll on her health as the enchantment was strong and came with side effects. She got 20 minutes of the outside world per day at any time but once that is done the balcony doors don't open until the next day . Evy's room was full of enchantments and spelled to make sure she stayed put and that had made her frail and sick also she had lost her appetite and just ate to stay alive. Emma went out and said "Mom " Eve turned around as her 20 minutes were up and came back inside the room. As she came in the doors closed behind her and Evy sighed as her happy time was over. But she smiled back at her daughter weakly and hugged Emma saying " My beautiful girl your back . Are you alright " Emma hugged her mother back and said " Well mom I've been better" Evy went near the bed and lay down on it as she was tired and had been for as long as she lived in that room. Emma sat beside her not knowing what to say to her as she knew her mother did't approve of her stealing and she would definitely not approve her breaking her father and her sisters trust. But again she couldn't hide much from her mum so she started with " Well I meet Anna and dad " Evy perked up when she heard that and asked " how are they and how does Anna look " Emma looked at her and replied saying " Anna looks exactly like me mom " Eve smiled back realising that she had just asked her daughter as to how her twin looked . Emma continued saying " Dad doing fine mom which is not the same I can say for you , Plus you never told me he was that good looking " Evy smiled back at her daughter and said " Well you think I married him for nothing and as for my health blame it on the spells in this room " Emma held her moms hand as she coughed a little . Evy continued " Well how did you meet them and what were you doing in the human world and why are you dressed in a werewolf suit " Emma looked at her herself and realised in her hurry to get away she hadn't changed out of her suit back in the werewolves palace. Emma sighed and stated telling her mom everything from meeting her dad to coming here not sparing any details. As the story advanced Evy's smile slowly dissappeared and was replaced with dread , shock and finally anger . When Emma finally finished she couldn't even face her mother as she knew her mother was starring daggers at her. After a long pause which felt like eternity to Emma Evy finally said " Emma Verraso Williams why would you do something like this ? You know how I feel about these things " Emma said finally looking at her mother " Because mom grandpa agreed to let you free if I got him both pieces of the moon stone . Not that it worked Anna took my piece " Evy looked at Emma and said " Emma honey your grandfather won't let me go even if you get him both the piece why do you think I refused to do this when I was your age years ago and ran away . You can't believe a word that man says " And then she muttered too herself " Not after he hit every single day and finally killed my poor mother" . Emma said " I know mom but believe me when I say I will get you out this place and we can go live somewhere else just the two of us . " Eve smiled and said " Honey I know you try to do so much for everyone , but please don't let people use me as a leverage to get you to do things that you don't want to do okay. And I was hoping if I ever do get out of here maybe we could go live with your father and your sister and make things right with them as well " Emma smiled and hugged her mother and she helped her lie back in bed and waited until she went to sleep and then she got up and looked back at her mother and said " We will be free mom , one day " and she left her moms room and went to her own which was the one right next to her mother's she entered her room which was just the same as her mothers. She sat on the couch in her room and sighed and soon went in to the walk in closet to change her clothes wondering as to how was she going to get the other piece back . But more than the piece the one thing she couldn't forget was surprisingly not Anna , not her Father but rather Jacobs face when he saw that she was a traitor . The pain in his eyes really hurt her more than she thought .
All of them looked at Anna shocked as she showed them the stone in her hand . The piece of the moon stone which she had replaced in Emmas bag with a moss covered stone which she had carved in the exact same shape . Anna had always felt it weird that Emma never let anyone open her backpack so she had sneaked a look in the backpack, and when Jake had told her about the moon stone then she had taken the stone from Emmas backpack and replaced it with the stone. Hector looked at the stone and then at Anna and asked " But why did you take it without a reason" Anna looked at her father and said " Well because I think I know a way to join the stone " The rest of them looked at her asking as to how so Anna continued saying " The person who can join the stone has to be completely pure right" Adam nodded by saying " Yes as the stone amplifies the persons personality but there is not a single person alive who is completely pure". Anna nodded saying " True there is no "person " alive who is completely pure . But who said it had to be a person or werewolf or witch or wizard . Perhaps the person who made the stone can revive it ." Hector replied " Anna the stone was made by the moon goddess Serena and she hasn't appeared ever since the moon stone broke as she believed that they don't deserve her presence." Jake said " Plus didn't the prophecy say something about the oldest royal can invoke the goddess" Jacob added saying " But what about the sanity part no one knows what that means". Leah who was listening said " Well we can give it try after all Anna is the oldest royal she is elder than Emma by a minute at least ." Anna said " yeah but for that we need Emma to give us the piece of the stone that she has for now'' Jacob said " well we can send a message to her through a bird or something asking her to bring the piece of the stone . Also telling her its better for everyone " Anna said " And well hope she does " Hector placed his hand on her daughters head and stroked her hair saying " Learn to trust your own Anna . Sometimes all it takes is a little belief " Anna looked at her dad and said " Even though they are the ones that break it dad ?? " Hector just smiled at her . Adam asked " But who can we trust to give the message to her " Jacob said " What about Sally " Leah looked at him and asked " Who??" Jacob replied " Mom Sally , The transformation which she was the griffin after all . I am pretty sure that she is really loyal to Emma and your mother. I've seen Emma and her talking all the time to each other and they seem pretty close and plus Sally did try to not drop you " Anna nodded and said " Well I guess we can trust her but how are we gonna get to her " Jake said " She is a transformation witch she can't sit quite . We just have to keep our eyes open for any animal which acts a little abnormal " Hector expressed the concern everyone was going to end up with eventually " Well even if you find her how are you going to give her the message also how will Emma know it was from us " Anna said " well we have to catch Sally and I think Jake can lure her . She does fancy him anyway" Jake rolled his eyes at the mention of that . Adam looked at his sons and said " Why is it that both of you attract witches . Anyway Jake you up for it ? " Jake looked at Anna and well she had given permission considering it was her idea so he just groaned and said " Fine, but what about Emma knowing part " Anna said " Well send this with the message " Anna held out the long chain which Emma had given her the day at the shoe store the chain that connected with the one Emma had , which Anna had given her. . Anna looked at Adam and said " Well Alpha we still need your formal approval " Adam sighed and then nodded and said "well go ahead "
The next day Sally flew out as a falcon . she loved this form she for one felt free from the rule of David this was her happy time she flew near the river and suddenly spotted someone near the river . She perched nearby a tree and as when she transformed she could posses the qualities of the creature she transformed into her falcon vision helped her see clearly who it was . Sally couldn't believe her luck , Jake never came near the river alone ever since Anna had been there she was really happy to see him alone after a really long time . Sally inspite of knowing that Jake liked Anna she needed time before she could get over her crush for him . So she landed quietly and transformed into a hare and hopped near to Jake . Jake who was looking at the river looked up to see a sweet white rabbit approach him. He smiled at it and as it came closer he stroked its head and he noticed that the rabbit closed its eyes when he did so . So at the last stroke he said " Hey Sally " Sally suddenly opens her eyes and noticed that Jake had figured out who she was and without caring of exposing herself transformed into her falcon form and tried to fly but not before Jake caught her claw she tried to flap but she was no match for a werewolf strength even in human form let alone in Falcon form . She flapped viciously until Jake pulled her down and she returned to her human form and tried getting away and yelled at Jake " Let go of my foot now " Jake yelled back saying " you know stalking is a crime even here right " . Sally was still struggling until Anna came around and said " Jake let the poor girl go" Sally stopped struggling she knew and was not taking chances with Anna by pissing her off more than she was . Anna knelt down with Jacob by her side and Jake finally let go off her foot and stood up and stood near Jacob. Sally crouched like a scared little bunny and after a few minutes started crying . She said crying " Anna I am so sorry I didn't mean to drop you I was trying to make sure you didn't fall . Also Your mom needs help as your grandfather won't let her go unless he gets both pieces of the moon stone . I was just helping Emma she is my best friend and I ........" Sally was talking not even listening to the Fact that Anna had said her name 3 times . Anna finally held her by her shoulders and shook her and said " Sally calm down we are not here to hurt you for gods sake " Sally stopped crying but she was still sobbing and said " You are not " Anna looked at her calmly and. said " No , we just want your help " Sally looked scared and said " look I can't steal the stone back for you okay I just can't , also I am forbidden from helping wolves " Anna again cut her short because she knew if she didn't Sally would go on and on again and said " Sally chill we just want you to get a message to Emma please and we didn't know anybody else who we could trust to get it only to Emma " Sally calmed down and looked at Anna . Anna got up and Helped Sally up and continued " And if my moms freedom is on the line I think we both want the same thing and I think we understand that why she did that " Sally looked from Anna to the boys behind her and they nodded . Jake further said " And if living in the witches community is bad she is welcome to stay with us in the pack or she can go home with her mother to Annas house. " Anna spoke up and said " Please Sally help us and if not the wolves then help me I am a witch . I guess you don't want a war to break out either do you " Sally smiled and after a short silence Sally said " Fine I'll help you what do you want me to give her " Anna handed Sally a rolled Parchment and the necklace with E and said " Give this to her and the necklace is just so that that she knows its from me. Sally smiled and said " Consider it done " She turned just before she left and said " Anna your mother really misses you . and Jacob " Jacob turned to look and sally continued " Emma is really sorry for hurting you more than anything and she said she really did like you " Jacob smiled and replied ' As her to come apologise in person and I'll consider it " Sally nodded and said " Jake don't lose this one " She said Pointing to Anna . Jake smiled and nodded . Sally gave one last look at all of them and Transformed into a falcon, grabbed the parchment with the necklace in her claws and flew back to the witches side . Anna looked at her go and said " Well now it all depends on Emma".
Emma sat on the floor of her room with paper strewn all around her. She was dressed in her night gown with a robe around her both in white and her long hair tied in a bun . She was formulating all kinds of plans to try and get the second piece but every single plan involved her having to go back to the wolves castle . They were never going to trust her and plus she couldn't go inside without being noticed or caught and plus the stone was with Anna who now knew all her tricks. As she crumpled up another piece of paper she heard Sallys falcon shriek and noticed her flying and land near her bay window . Emma opened her window and let Sally in who came in and transformed back to her human form . Emma had gone back to her papers . Sally picked up a few papers which were next to her and said " Trick Anna into getting the stone , Hold Jacob as ransom , Transform into a wolf . What the hell are you doing and how do you plan in turning into a wolf " Emma said without looking up " That idea involves you " Sally put qhepapers down and sat next to Emma . Emma finally looked at her and said " Unless you have something important to say you can either help me or leave. " Sally gave Emma the parchment and the chain and said " One I am not going into that side right now or ever and second your sister sent you this . I think it is important you should read it and see . She also sent you this . I'll leave you alone they did say that it's only for your eyes " Sally gave the chain to Emma and got up and leave . Just before she left he room she said " Jacob said if you apologise in person to him then you might have a shot with the royal second prince. " Emma just smiled at her as she left the room and closed the door behind her. Emma put the chain around her neck and connected the E and the an and then unwrapped the parchment and opened it up and started to read \. It said :
Dear Emma
I do not know as to why you stole the stone . I'm also pretty sure you have a valid reason and it involves mom . But hear me out sister . We don't have to make the same mistake our ancestors did but rather try and make things right . I know that you and me have the same idea as to what to with the pieces of the stone . But either of us can't do it alone so we need your help . Please trust us and if you can bring the piece of the stone near border of the forest we can fix the problems and avoid catastrophe, Which will be inevitable if any wizard or witch or wolf tries to join the stones . We also want to make sure that this does not result in war . If we can do this it will help everyone . We are trusting you so please don't let us down . I understand that it's a difficult decision to make and will take a lot of guts to do so , so take your time and let us know if you are ready for it we will await your response .

Emma gave a small laugh at the last line . It made her fell like Anna was still with her and she went out into her balcony and stood there watching the wolves castle from her room and touched her necklace which kinda felt complete . At the same time Anna stared out into the night fixing her gaze on the witches palace and wondering as to whether Emma would even respond or not . Hector came in to see his daughter staring out in to the night and came out and stood next to her in the balcony and said " What you doing " Anna replied back still staring " wondering if I made the right move by taking the stone or by sending a message to her. " Hector smiled and said " Well I'm not proud that you stole and not sure about the message either but I think the main problem with you is that you just can't trust your sister . " Anna gave a small laugh and asked " And you trust her after what she just did ? Come on dad " Hector replied saying " Anna , learn to have faith in family . Trust me you will be surprised . " Anna rolled her eyes and said " Well my twin sure did surprise me " Hector stood with her and asked " Tell me something why did you take the stone? " Anna closed her eyes and said " Well I was hoping I didn't have to answer that question " Hector looked t his daughter keenly and she finally gave in saying " Okay fine . When Jake told me about the moon stones story I was trying to see what will happen if I try and join them both by invoking the moon goddess . So I took it so that I could compare the stone with the wolves stone to see if was the same thing . But you were right I didn't trust Emma so I didn't tell her . " Hector said " Well I sure hope that this doesn't turn into something serious .'' Anna asked before hector left " Dad , Did it hurt when mom left or when you saw Emma running away after taking the stone " Hector looked at her and said " Anna sometimes the worst pain is within your heart and sometimes the the pain is caused by your closest ones . But that doesn't mean that you have to give up on them " Anna said " Even though they broke your heart " Hector came back to where Anna was standing and said " Well Everyone deserves a second chance , That's what I have been telling Leah since the day she broke up and left Adam " Anna said " Dad please stop giving relationship advice to people it is really not good advice no matter who gives it " Hector and Anna both laughed and hector put his arms around his daughter and she rested her head on his chest side ways and said " I really hope she considers this dad and if she does well in don't know what she is going to say if I see her " Hector who was by now hugging her said " Do you want me to come with you guys " Anna nodded and said " It sure would help , Thank you " Hector nodded and gave a long sigh and thought to himself ' why is there so much self doubt and so much of hate in this short life . why, is the question never answered . '
Emma paced back and forth in the throne room waiting for David to bring the stone. She had changed into her witch clothes her long robe was red and her top inside was a shade of light pink and her shorts were purple . She had put her hood down waiting impatiently. He came in with the stone and looked at Emma and asked " Are you sure about this kid" Emma nodded and said " yes, so Please trust me , I will fix this " David Gave her the stone and said " Okay but just so you know your mothers life depends on it so don't let me down again Emma " He moved to the throne and sat on it and said " I love the feel of power don't you Emma " Emma just looked away from him . The only way she could get the stone from him was to tell him that she would be able to steal the stone only if she knew where the other part of the stone was and plus that she had to be fast being between a bunch of wolves. She had already sent a message to Anna stating that she will come to the designated spot and Sally had already delivered the message. She knew what she had to do for everyone and she would do it no matter the sacrifice. So she had got the stone the next step was to meet her sister through that was the part she was actually terrified of. Emma walked all the way to the border and taking a long breath she crossed the border of the witches and meet at the patch which did not belong to either of the two species. This was the land in front of the moon goddesses temple it was a hill top and it overlooked the temple which was below it was considered that Selene ( the moon goddess) watched over that patch of land. She noticed that the two boys in their wolf form were already there growling at her and so she came close enough and showed the stone to the wolves . They looked at each other and transformed to their human form and looked at her and then nodded and looked behind them which was a clump of trees and Anna and Hector came from within. Anna pulled out the stone of the witches and said " Sorry didn't mean to take it just wanted to be safe " Emma nodded and said " Well you were right to doubt and not trust me and .. " She looked the boys and said " I'm sorry about the stealing part " Jake just gave a small smile and nodded Emma looked at Jacob and said " I'm really sorry " Jacob nodded . Emma kept her stone down and Anna kept her stone down the two stones glowed when they came near each other . Jacob said " Well the stones are real , So shall we go to the temple " Emmas voice resounded when they got ready to go " I don't think so " . When they turned to look at her she held a crossbow Which she had conjured up pointed straight at Jake and said " The arrows are silver and dipped in wolfsbane so its a direct kill if any of you move , The pieces of the stone are coming with me and You all will stay here ." Jacob tried to Move forward and Emma who had an expression of fear placed her finger on the trigger and said " I mean it , I'm not Joking" Anna lost it and conjured up her sword and went to Get Emma when Hector held her hand and stopped her . He came in front and looked at Emma and said " Emma Sweetie come on I know that you are scared but you know that this is not going to help anyone if you do this " Emma changed her position and pointed the arrow at Hector . Even then nobody moved cause they knew all Emma had to do was pull the trigger . Anna's eyes shifted from Emmas face to her finger the minute it pointed at her father . Hector continued " This is not what Evy would have wanted either " Emma who was at the verge of tears said " Dad please I am doing this for mom . He will kill her if I don't get this to him " Hector continued saying " I know you mean well , And I want to make sure Evy is fine as well but not by putting everyone else in danger right " Tears started to flow out of Emmas eyes and she said " Dad please " Hector held out his Hand and said " Come on Emma do the right thing " Emmas hand shivered near the trigger her index finger twitched and the next thing she had to do was a small flex of her finger and a arrow would shoot . Annas eyes that were glued to Emmas finger saw something of a movement in her hands and her hand tightened around the handle of her sword ready to strike if the need be . Hector was still trying to convince Emma to stop trying to take both the stones away. Emma still in that position pointing her crossbow at Hector begging him to let her go. When Hector said a last " please Emma " Emmas hand tightened around the trigger and Anna knew what she was going to do and without thinking twice she swung her sword at Emma at the exact same time with the impact of the sudden strike Emmas Instinct and her reflex action kicked in and she pulled the trigger sending a arrow straight at Hector which buried itself in his chest and he gasped at its impact.
All the voices around Emma seemed to drown out as she saw Anna shout" Nooo" and run to her father's side dropping the sword and Jake and Jacob did the same . Emma stood rooted to the ground as she saw as to what she had done She came to her senses when she saw Anna held her father in her arms and looked at her with hatred and disbelief in her in her eyes and finally said " what have you done , I never should have trusted you . I did and you killed our father " . The last line hit Emma like a lightning bolt it was no different that Annas hair had turned Orange and she was already throwing sparks from her entire body let alone her hand s. Greif always did that to them . Emma just looked at her father who was lying in Annas arms gasping for air though she had missed the heart the wolfsbane in the arrow would eventually kill him as it is by slowing his heart rate. Anna words rang in her ears , She had killed her father, she had killed her mothers one true love , She had killed her sisters only parent her only friend . Back at the castle Ivy felt a pang of pain in her heart. She knew what had happened and tears streamed down her face , she wiped it just as her father entered her room he looked at her and then gave a sinister smile as he had figured out what would hurt her this bad .
Emma looked at the stones that were left unattended by everyone . She had lost one parent she was not going to lose another though she knew her mother would be heartbroken after learning about what she had done. She didn't have time to lose she grabbed the stones and ran towards the witches side , Jake noticed and yelled " Jacob get her " The boys didn't waste time and took off after her Jake gave a last look to Anna holding her fathers body telling him he will be alright and that she will save him no matter what , knowing that she will be okay for now and after mind linking their healer , he took off behind his brother growling at Emma . She and they both knew that all Emma had to do was cross the border towards the witches side . Their shield prevented wolves from coming over to their side. So the boys sped up and Emma using all her strength sprinted towards the border the wolves were inches away from her when she leapt and fell on her back and the boys were thrown back with the impact of the shield. They tried to push their way through the shield but the force field was strong being made by the most powerful defensive witches and wizards. The wolves barked and growled at Emma as she had managed to get over the border to her side and now the wolves could do nothing to reach her. Emma slowly got up looked at the wolves and mouthed a ' sorry ' and the picked up the stones in separate hands and continued running towards the castle with tears streaming down her cheeks with her vision blurred with the tears welling up in her eyes . Raised by him or not she too had lost her father and the pain was heartbreaking.
The boys ran back to where they had left Anna . She was still in the same position Holding her father up supporting him using her body , putting pressure on his wound to make it stop bleeding . The healer who had rushed over with his two attendants were doing their best to cure him . Hector was gasping for breath knowing that he would not make it as if the bleeding didn't kill him the wolfsbane poison would . The boys returned to their human forms and went down on their knees near Hector the man they knew and treated as a father figure since they were children. Hector looked at his daughter her eyes streaming with tears and held her hand which was blood drenched due to putting pressure on his wound and looked at her and smiled and said " Come on sweetie its time to let go , I know that I am not going to make it either way" Anna shook her head saying " No, Not if I can help it '' Hectors beckoned her closer and said "Remember Anna I'm always around and I will aways be there when you need me even if you can't see me okay , Be strong and be brave my beautiful little girl " Hector looked at the boys and said " Listen boys talk to your father work things out with him . He is sorry for what he did and wants to make things right , You never known how much time you have with each other . Okay promise me you will " The two boys looked at each other and then nodded at Hector . He continued saying " Please take care of Anna when I am gone yeah " . Jake said " Hold on Mr. Williams the healers are going to save you " Jacob chimed saying " Hold on sir we still have some hope " . Even though in pain with his heart rate going down and his pulse weak he smiled at the three of them and said " I have accepted my fate it's time you accept it too . So promise me you will take care of each other " The three unable to bring up any words to say just nodded . He gave a final look at Anna and said " Forgive your sister , I know she didn't mean to do this okay " Anna let her tears fall freely and held her father hand tight and pulled him closer and placed his head on her chest and finally let go of the emotions she had held back and cried her powers erupting in a way which made it look like thunder was striking the sky from the ground. She held on until she heard her father say " I love you my Anna and always will ' Anna controlled her tears and said between sobs " I love you too dad always " Hector heard that and closed his eyes with a smile on his face and the grip on Anna hand went limp along with his body and his face fell and his heart finally stopped beating. The healers looked at Anna and said " I'm sorry , He is gone , we tried but the wolfsbane was too strong even for a wolf and he was just human". Anna didn't let go of her father body she hugged him even closer and cried uncontrollably. Jake and Jacob came closer to her when the sparks she was erupting stopped and grief was replaced by sadness and hugged her from either sides calming her down . It was hard for them too as grief was engulfing them as well, especially Jake as he could feel his mates pain. The boys transformed and howled till it reached the pack signalling the loss of a dear one and then bowed their heads in respect . Anna still beside her father body said pulling him closer " Don't leave me dad , I still need you . Please " and just closed her eyes praying to whichever god she could try to invoke to bring her father back even though she knew it was useless.
Emma came into the palace and she saw Sally who was wearing a long red robe waiting for her and as she saw her she stopped Emma and asked " Is everything alright why are you crying " Emma just shook her head and said " Not now Sally " Sally Dint let her go and asked " Emma what did you do ? " And then her eyes fell on the stones in her hand and asked " How did you get both pieces " Emma just shoved her hand away and continued running and Sally followed her . Emma ran into the throne room and threw the stones at Davids feet , sunk to her knees and said " Here they are now keep up your end of the deal " . Sally crouched down below Emma calming her down asking her what happened . David knelt down and picked up the stones and looked at Emma and Sally turned quite and David said " You did well then why does your eyes and face show pain and sadness" Emma looked up at him her eyes filled with tears " Those stones cost me way too much , My father , My sister and my love and my very own family " David still examine the stones said " What do you mean ?" Emma said without even looking up at him " I betrayed my sister and killed my father" Davids face gave a small smile at the sound of Hectors death and Sally looked at Emma in disbelief and moved away from her . David looked at Emma smiling and said "Well done you even finished the job I haven't been able to do all these years, killing that human " Emma finally looked up at him her eyes burning with rage. David still smiled at her and said " Well you can see your mother now " Emma looked at him and said " So we are free right " David turned his back on Emma and smiled slyly and said " No one will ever trouble your mother ever again " . After David left Sally said " Tell me you didn't Emma " When Emma didn't say anything Sally burst out yelling " How could you , He was your father too what did he ever do " Emma looked at her and said " I didn't mean to it just happened , I panicked and I had to save mom " Sally replied " So you killed your father . You killed your sisters only parent to save your only parent , Unbelievable" That's all Emma had to hear and she stood and Said " Sally I don't have time for this Ok , I want to see mom " and the she bolted towards her mother's room leaving Sally back in the throne room alone with David . David picked the stones , gave a small look to Sally and left the throne room and walked into the garden of the palace which looked like a huge grassland altogether . He made his way across a bridge under which the water flowed and kept walking the land tilted upwards with the grass on the ground . He climbed up until he reached a small observatory structured building which was open with an oval dome held up by 4 pillars and was big enough to hold a few dozen of people . It looked small compared to the castle and was newly built in comparison to the palace. David wanted to use the power all to himself of the moon stone but he needed a place where he can unleash its entire power so he had specially instructed for this sanctum to be built.
He sat on his knees and held the stones in his two hands and looked at them as they began to glow as they sensed each other.
Emma ran through the corridors and into the room of her mother where the bars on the door were already removed and so were the enchantments and the guards . Emma wasted no time rushing into the room with the door open . She looked around the room to look for her mom and saw her sitting on the floor leaning on the bed with her back facing the door staring out into the wilderness . Emma slowly walked towards her mother and called out " Mom " She wasn't sure as to how she was going to tell mom that she had actually killed her husband . she had seen how mad her mother was when she told her about stealing the stone she was sure now her mom wouldn't be just angry at her she would be heartbroken. On receiving no answer she called again " Mom you okay " She walked over to see her mother siting with her eyes glued to the view outside and a peaceful expression on her face. Emma sat beside her and lightly tapped her mothers shoulder saying " Mom " When suddenly her mothers fell towards her lifeless. Emma grabbed her mother trying to check her pulse near her neck to find her hand stained with blood . She lifted her mother head up to see her throat slit and she had bled out slowly. Her mother hadn't died of heartbreak she was murdered and Emma very well knew who would have done it . She grabbed her mother's shoulders and shook her crying and yelling " Mom wake up , please " Her mother lay there motionless . Emma finally broke down realising why her mother was not blinking. She was no more . Emma now got how much pain Anna would have been in seeing her parent dead in front of her.She finally figured out what David had meant when he said that No will trouble her mother again , As a death was the final freedom . Emma hugged her mother and let out her emotions burning , literally burning, her fire power at full effect and crying holding her mother. Jacob felt a pang of pain differently more than he felt when he saw Hectors body . He knew what had happened . Jacob looked at his brother and through their mind connection said " Two girls one in the castle and one at the hilltop both crying both mourning the parent they had failed to save. " Jake who was consoling Anna who was crying now with her head buried into his chest with her father head on her lap , Jake patting her head , looked at his brother and saw the pain in his face though he was rubbing Anna's back consoling her . Jake put one of his hand on his brother shoulder understanding what he was going through and beckoned him closer to him . Eventually tears streamed out from the boys Eyes as well though Jacob started to cry and Jake held Anna and his brother tight enough, Each on either shoulder Trying to stop himself from breaking down as they needed at least one person to console them both. He looked at Hectors body and said " I'll take care of them sir , I promise".
After a few minutes Jake got up with the other two still crying and said " We have to give him a proper funeral at least " Jacob Nodded and wipes his tears and Picked up Hectors body with his hands . Jake transformed and Jacob put Hectors body on Jake with his hands downwards. Jacob Then beckoned Anna who was still kneeling and said " Anna come on we need to get back before its dark " Anna slowly nodded and finally got up and sat on Jacob as he transformed. The boys took off in a run with healers following them . They didn't even have to reach the pack house before they saw their parents running with the rest of the pack behind them . The minute Adam saw that Jake was carrying someone lying on him he quickened his pace and reached him before Any other could the head healer came too followed by Leah. They carefully held Hectors body . But before the healer could touch Hector Anna said " Don't bother he is gone " Leah looked at Anna standing there and got up and hugged her and started crying . Anna stood and then went over and held her fathers body as he was picked up from jakes body and sat on the ground tears started in her eyes again and all the wolves bowed their head in respect to Hector in following their Alpha who transformed and bowed to him a friend and a brother who stood by him even in his toughest times. Anna looked at the Alpha and asked " Can I just give him a proper funeral on your land with your permission" . Adam transformed , sat on one knee and said to Anna " Hector was a brother to me as well, he is family and he will be given a funeral fit for a king its my word Anna . And from now on you are part of our pack and our family ." Anna gave a nod in gratitude with Leah who was kneeling beside her holding her. Leah spoke after a long while " Why would Emma kill her own father of all things " Jake said " Im not sure but I think she panicked and shot him " Anna yelled back at Jake " She killed my father she dosen't have an excuse and stop making one for her ". Leah said " Well for what she did I hope at least Evy is alive " Jacob looked at his mother and said " No she is not , I felt Emma as well she is mourning her parent as well" At that Leah broke down and released Anna and fell to sit beside her with a " No " . Adam went and held her as he Knew Anna was already in too much pain to console Leah at the moment. The boys were actually in awe of their father who was actually dealing with grief and handling everyone else. They for one had never seen him as that capable . That man had lost his best friend , his chosen sister , a to be daughter- in- law and still stood strong for others. After a moment f silence for all the souls Adam still holding his wife looked at two of the wolves behind him and said " Make the funeral preparations for a royal. " the two wolves bowed and ran away to do the biding. Through all this Anna just sat holding her father body staring at his face and remembering all the happy moments she had with him , now all just memories.
Emma had managed to take her mother's body to the royals graveyard and she picked up a shovel and started to dig a hole right next to the previous king , her great grandfather. She was still weeping and grieving but she wanted to make sure that her mother at least received a proper burial. once the hole was done she slowly put her mother in the hole. She just did not manage to find a coffin so she had no choice but to bury her mother that way. Sally who was looking for her after she saw the burning Fire and heard Emma screaming had followed her till there. Once she got her mother body in she and Sally then put in one handful of mud as it was customary and then started to shovel in mud to close the hole . Once that was done she pulled a big flat stone she had got from near the river and used a conjured a dagger and engraved on the stone ' Here lies Evelyn Ira Williams a wonderful mother a loving wife and a great queen ' and she put the stone at the top of her mother grave. she knelt and then put her head on her mothers grave completely lying down on the mud and the she cried Sally crouched Down and placed her hand on Emmas shoulder and helped her up and hugged her let her cry with Sally weeping as well . At the same time Anna took the burning stick from the Alphas hand and lit the funeral pyre of her father. And then she stepped back and fell to the ground on her knees crying . Jake went up and helped her to her feet and brought her back to where Jacob was standing and the boys hugged her . All were dressed in Black Anna was wearing a Black gown which covered her completely , It was similar to all the other females and all the males were dressed in a black shirt and pants in the same colour . At the time looking at the pyre she remembered all the fun she used to have with her father all the memories they had together all still fresh in her mind . Only that the man she shared them with was now burning in the funeral pyre . She held the boys and weeping she said " Goodbye dad , I love you ". Adam stood hugging Leah who was also weeping into his chest and said " Goodbye my friend " And Leah added " goodbye my brother " Jake Said soon after " Good bye Mr. Williams " Jacob added " Thank you for always being there . We all Love you and we will miss you ". Every wolf bowed their heads to the pyre That they had surrounded and hence no saw that Annas eyes that was filled with grief and sadness had changed , and now they burned with Fury and Hatred and it was for only one person " Emma " She muttered under her breath.
David during this time bond his head to the moon goddess and said " You have been in power for far too long now its my time to be god" And then he pushed the two stones together they glowed brightly and he started to strain as they were getting harder to put together . He used his entire strength to push them closer together as the stones were getting closer the glow of the stones went from green to slowly black and as they started to change colour a black sand started to swirl around David and soon that sand turned into shadowy figures which soon entered into David and he started too transform his eyes turned red and his veins grew stronger and started to budge. He laughed and pushed the stones closer to together and the sand turned bigger by the moment and soon covered the the entire observatory . David had awoken the dark forces which were engulfing him by the moment turning him into their host.
Jake went near the lake wanting to be left alone but still his brother had insisted that he came along . Anna on the other hand had asked to be left alone and she had gone back to the room . Adam came up to see his sons sitting near the lake and came close to them and said " I used to come here whoever I was worried about a few things " When they heard him they were going to stand he motioned them to sit and then sat between them when they made place for him. He looked into the water and said " The first time I felt this kind of grief was when I lost you boys and your mother. I missed her so much that I tried to fill the void with other she wolves but it did not really help " Jake said " Dad we left because you cheated on her, I mean come on seriously we saw you with that she wolf on top of you" Adam sighed and said " I wasn't cheating and she took me by surprise and I didn't really want her on top of me. She pushed me and got on top and I was trying to get her off when you all waked in . I was at the right place in the wrong situation" Jacob and Jake looked at their father and said " We'll then why didn't you say anything dad " Jake continued for his brother saying " Yeah we would have understood " Adam said " You guys and your mom didn't give me chance to . You just presumed what you saw was the truth" Jake slapped his head and said " Dang it , what kind of alpha does something like that why didn't I actually check " Jacob responded saying " Why didn't I say anything , I thought dad was innocent " Jake looked at his brother and said " Yeah why didn't you " Adam laughed and said " Its fine boys You boys were young and dint know. But I'm proud of what you boys have grown into, Your mother raised you well . " He put his arms around the boys and said "Seeing Anna today and what happened with Hector I kind realised that we never know how much time we have left . So wanted to make sure my family dosent hate me and clear up the misunderstanding . I cleared this up with your mother just had to make sure you boys understand good as well " The boys crouched closer to their father and hugged him with both both on their knees and facing him and said " We are sorry dad , we love you " Together in unison and Adam closed his eyes after a few minutes in the same position he said " Jake Just cause Anna is going to be living with us docent mean you have to treat like your sister okay " The boys moved away with Jacob laughing and Jake gave an embarrassed face and looked away saying " Come on dad , really " Adam looked at Jacob and said " I really liked her Jacob " and he nodded sadly . Adam put his hands on the boys shoulder and said " Don't worry if the moon goddess wants it she will make sure that you will be with the one you belong with . Her choice of a mates never wrong. " The boys nodded together hoping their father's words were true. Suddenly there was a loud thunder and smoke coming from a distance and all the three of them looked up and so the rest of the wolves back in the pack . Anna peeked out of her window as soon as the thunder hit. Emma who was back in the graveyard with Sally also knew what was happening and rushed back to the castle. Jake looked up and said " He is going the stones this is literal catastrophe. we have to get everyone safe " Jacob nodded and Adam and the boys ran into the pack house yelling " Everyone get inside now . Make sure the women and children are safe and get them inside first " Th wolves did not even need that ushering they all knew what was happening once they saw the black smoke . Adam yelled at one of the warriors " Pull up the elemental defences now " . Adam for one knew that the stones had not yet been joined so elemental forces such as fire , air , thunder and water could actually repel the dark forces for sometime until the stones completely merged to darkness. Jake , Jacob , Adam and a couple of warriors were making sure that all the wolves were in the house when They saw Leah looking panicked and running around looking for someone . Until she caught Jake and first thing he said was " Mom get inside what are you doing " Leah looked at him and said " Jake I can't find Anna anywhere . Ive looked everywhere and her room is empty and so is a sword " Jake looked at his brother and Jacob said " I think I know where she might have gone " and they both looked at the witches side and heard screaming coming from that side and noticed that a few shadowy figures were coming out of the smoke . They knew that the dark forces were getting stronger and were already Turning the witches and wizards into dead warriors who were further killing the others and only a few elemental witches were trying to ward them offbeat not very well.
Jake looked at Adam and he nodded . Jake yelled at the remaining warriors " Ladies grab a couple of fire troches and men transform we have to get the serving witches and wizards out of there." . The wolves were startled for a moment and looked at their prince with shock . The wolves have been against witches for a very long time and here the prince who hated the magic folk was actually asking them to risk their lives for them . He looked at them and this time Jacob yelled " What are you waiting for you heard my brother " . Jake understood Nand said " I know what I am asking of you and I have no rights to ask that of you so if you chose to follow me then it is up to you and only if you want to there is no compulsion to do so . But please don't say no just because you hate the magical folk , in time of crisis we have to help " The wolves after that didn't waste time each female grabbed a torch and started running to sit on a male Jake and Jacob transformed and got two females warriors on them, more warriors male an female came out from inside. Adam was ready to transform but Jake mind connected to him and said " Dad stay here with mom we need someone in authority to deal with the functions inside the house. Keep the barriors up and place two warriors at the front of the door let anyone who is still sane inside witch , wizard with or without a were wolf. " Adam nodded and replied " May the goddess protect you my sons " Ana he pulled Leah with him and went inside and he pulled up the elemental barriors, the moat opened up and a huge wall of fire came around the castle. The wolves took off running and the minute they were about to enter the witches border Jacob connected and asked " What about the sheild " Jake replied Back " Dont worry the dark forces destroy all kinds of sheilds and with that much power the sheild will be no more." As usual Jake was righth the shild was compleltly destroyed as the forces were coming towards them even before they crossed the border. The females perched on the male wolves held out heir fire torches warding off the shadwy figures witch came at them barring their teech and went away when the fire was near them . As the wolves entered the witches castle it was complete chaos and the buildings and the castle was starting to crumble at the power of the stone changing . The wolves got to action immedietely . They started to lift the debries and get any witch or wizard trapped inside and made at least one elemental powered was with them and then took off the females too transformed after giving the torched to the magic folk who were on them they were battling against the dead warriors who looked a lot like zombies with their eyes swolled in and teeth sticking out and also the dark forces were literally coming at them from alll the sides . The elemest worked on both the warriors and the forces . Jake and Jacob put the Ladies down and looked around they had to stop Anna before she killed Emma which was somthing they were sure she would do. .
Anna had left a long time ago when she saw the smoke through the window from how much Jake had told her she knew that her electric thunder could ward off the dark foces coming at her and nothing was going to stop her from reching her sister. She had reached the throne room to see Emma and Sally running to try and get the witches and wizards to safety , just going through the hall and yelled " Emma " loud enough for the entire castle to hear. Emma stopped in her tracks and turned to face Anna. Sally looked at Annas scary expression and started to say " Anna , listen i know......" Anna cut her off saying " Stay out of this Sally , or I wont hesitate to kill you too " Emma pulled sally behind her and said " Go , get out and try to get others to safety , go " Sally nodded and left them alone. As the shadowy figures got near the castle an electric and fire force came around the castle warding them off . Anna looked at her sister and said " I am not going to let them come between to save you this time " Emma replied back " Good neither do I " Anna pulled out her sword and it sparked up and said " going to run again or are you going to pay " Emma conjured up a double headed spear and blazed it up and said " Fine then , lets get this over with " both the girls hair changed colour and then the two girls charged at each other with both weapons and powers clashing . Emma somehow was just defending herself from Anna who disregarding all her training was on full attack mode. Anger had replaced her greif and she fuled all her rage into her battle. She slashed her sword right at Emmas head when she defended by blocking and at the same time she sent an electric shock towards Emma . Emma was well versed in using her powers of shield and fire at the same time. So much that she relied solely on her power while in combat , But when it came to Anna she was trained to fight using her strength and was built on that as her father wanted to make sure she can fight without powers. With Annas skill in sword fighting Emma was kinda finding it hard to keep up and that was why she had to play defensive by trying to hope that Anna would soon run out of strength. But Anna did not seem to do that at all even in frustration she knew how to conserve her strength no matter defensive or offensive. And she was giving Emma a hard time. Emma pushed her spear at Anna trying to wound her but Anna spun and dodged her Attempt and instead she managed to get behind Emma and before she could react slashed her right Across her back making Emma stagger front . Emma tucked her spear under her Arm and pushed one end behind her . She was hurt but not so bad that she was bleeding . Emma suddenly spun her spear which threw a fire ball at Anna who defended herself as an electric ball collided with the fire ball which erupted from Annas sword. Emma was losing strength and the slash on her back was throbbing and she was starting to feel excessive pain. But she was used to this pain and picked herself together again and rushed at Anna and her Spear head connected with Annas sword metal and they both put force on their weapons trying to push the other off . In this situation Anna remembered her father's confuse and attack move . She slowly shifted her weight and pressure on one leg and moved away from Emma who with the force she was putting fell forward and Anna kicked her hard on the back which made her fall face forward and just stopped herself with her palms before she hurt her face . by this time the hall was covered in ruble as the girls powers had destroyed a couple of pillars and a bit of the floor marble as well . Emma just had enough time to raise her spear above her head before Anna gave a straight blow at her . But Emma forgot that magic or no magic the middle of the spear is usually fragile than the rest of the weapon., and made of wood and can break if hit hard enough and Anna hit hard enough. The spear broke with a loud snap. Emmas hands feel on both her sides and the spear disappeared as soon as she had conjured it. Emma was pushed back with the force Anna had used and Anna didn't waste time by slashing Emma again . Emma used her wounded hand to pull up her shield which was just to defend Annas blow and managed to get up and stated moving back as her shield was weakening and Annas anger was just getting more and that was feeling her hits on Emma . Finally Emma s shield shattered and she fell on her back and managed to sit up . Anna finally swung her sword ready to cut Emmas head off and stopped inches away from her neck and Emma looked up at her. Anna looked right into her eyes and somehow she was not sure what she was doing. Emma still looking at her said " Go ahead , Kill me already" Anna snapped out of her trance and said " You feel no remorse for anything do you" Emma who was holding herself up with her palms managed to sit up on her knees folding behind her . This was a position of Surender to their opponent . She put her head down with annas sword still on her neck which was slowly inching forward " Remorse no , regret yes . " Anna scoffed at her . Emma continued " Regret that I had to kill my father and that I could not save my mother . But tell me Anna was Dad's death only my fault? " Anna'a grip losses a little on her sword and she said " Are you blaming me for what you did ?" Emma shook her head and continued " No Anna I'm just saying that was his death was both of our fault. " Anna looked at her and Emma looked up and said " You din't trust me did you . From the moment we met you didn't trust me that why you took the stone out of my bag, Cause you didn't trust me . Till now even Jake trusted me you didn't " Anna didn't say a word . Emma rambled on saying " You know the it is true , I didn't mean to pull the trigger dad knew it. You didn't you swung the sword at me and my finger reflex made me pull the trigger . I get that I killed dad but you are just as guilty as I am. So go on Anna kill me , kill me and you will have avenged your dad and I would have paid for everything I have done and couldn't do so that I can finally go and apologise to our parents. But I am not sure how you will repent because we both know that you feel guilty too ". Emma lifted her head exposing her neck to Anna and closed her eyes. After a few minutes she noticed that the sword that she felt near her neck had vanished and so she opened her eyes and looked at Anna . Anna had unconquered the sword and her face didn't look angry anymore and she said " I can't kill the only family I have left plus I have already lost one family member and no matter what you still are my sister" with that Anna sunk to her knees and tears stated to stream down her eyes and she continued " Its not personal Emma its not just you I have never been able to trust anyone . To be honest I still haven't even been able to trust the boys till now as well . Dad was just the opposite he tried so much but I am what I am . So you are right I am dad murderer and it is wholly my fault I swung even before you did anything . I am so sorry Emma , I really am ". Emma inched in closer to her sister and finally hugged her . Anna after a really long day really needed that and hugged her sister back . Suddenly a dark shadow came at them and two voices yelled " Girls watch out " and Emma in the nick of time pushed a flame at it and it disappeared. the girls stood up and looked around with them calming down the fire and electric force around them had gone down, so finally they saw the chaos around them each one of the witches were getting on which ever wolf they could and getting out. The elemental witches using their powers to ward of the dark spirits each h on each wolf and those who didn't have any elemental power was using torches . They finally used their powers to ward off the spirits coming towards them and looked around to find a familiar wolf and found two and the ran towards them helping them to ward off. The wolves transformed and they hugged Anna and looked at Emma in relief and Jake said " Thank god you didn't kill her " Jacob added with an angry look " Yet, but I might " Jake gave his brother a stern look and said " Alright lets get the girls out " Anna finally asked " Where to and what the hell is happening " Emma looked at the dome and said " The stones he is joining them. Suddenly they noticed that a few wolves and scorers whom the shadowy figures had touched were starting to attack others who were going away. Their eyes had hollowed out and wolves had mouths with long salivating fangs and their fur had gone completely grey . The wizards had conjured weapons and their skins had gone grey and their eyes were hollow too . Anna looked and said " Okay now I see what dead warriors mean " The rest of them nodded. Emma looked and said " We can't leave we have to stop this ". Jake saw a dead warrior approach and shoved the burning torch in his hand and they just moved back. and as they came closer the four of them started to ward them off with the boys using the torches and fighting them off bring careful not to kill and Emma and Anna using their powers . Jacob asked " How do you propose we stop them " Emma pointed at the dome and said " The stones I hope are not yet joined as elements are still working against the spirits so we just have tp stop him from joining them can you boys get me and Anna up there. " Jake and Jacob looked and said " You want us to go towards the spirits " Anna said " Well if we don't stop this then it will get to us no matter where we go. So we might as well do it " The boys nodded and transformed and the girls picked one at random and the boys started to race up towards the dome. Suddenly they heard a small voice under a ruble and stopped as they picked it up they saw Hazel there and Jakes eyes winded and he picked up the kid and said " What the hell are you doing here " . Hazel just looked innocently and said " I followed you boys " Jacob looked up to see an eagle flying away and whistled at it waved down at it the eagle come and transformed into Sally . Jake gave Hazel to Sally and the boring torch and said " Get her out of here " Sally looking at all of them together asked " and where are you going, and when did you too become friends and what's happening " Emma replied " Sally just go to the pack house now " Anna replied to her "We will explain later " Jacob just before transforming said " Ask the alpha to [put up the defences now go " Sally nodded and transformed into a griffin and put Hazel on her back and then flew with hazel holding the torch dodging the spirits as the boys continued racing up the hill towards the dome with the girls on their back.
David was at the end of the joining process the spirts had almost consumed him his powers were growing stronger and stronger by the minute , the stones were almost joined and were almost losing their green glow and were turning black. When they were only inches apart from each other David closed his eyes and used all his strength to push them together until suddenly two heavy objects crashed into him throwing him off and the stones fell apart from each other as they had still not yet been joined . David got up his eyes which had turned red and his eye sockets had sunken and he looked stronger than he was before and looked at what had hit him and saw two wolves and two girls who had fallen with the impact they had hit him the girls ran over and grabbed one piece each of the gems and got on the wolves David yelled at them "Have you lost it Emma What are you doing" Emma yelled back and said " The right thing grandpa and I am done being scared of you " after that the wolves without wasting time took off running. David just smirked and said " idiots, Now I have to kill all of you " and took off chasing the wolves. The wolves started running towards the goddess temple and the shortest way was to run straight to the from the Dome on top of the elevated land and then cross the river which was a few meters away as the temple was on a lower platform . As they were almost nearing the river Anna looked back to see David following them and getting closer so she yelled to Emma who was on Jacob and said " How is he still so strong the pieces weren't joined yet " Emma yelled back " He almost got them together the dark forces still are in him so he still has the power just not all off it" And she yelled at the wolf saying " Faster boys " Slowly Anna realised that Jake was kinda faster than Jacob and said " Emma I have an idea , I know its a long shot but we seriously don't have a choice" Emma said " okay what's the plan " Anna looked around and then pointed to a small shack which was abandoned and the wolves ran into the shack which was on the side which kinda hid them . David who reached them saw them disappear into the shack and was just in time to see only a black wolf run out from the shack . He did not want to take a chance and went into the shack and looked around but it was completely empty. he yelled in frustration and punched a wall which broke open and as he looked out he saw a girl on the brown wolf which had taken a different and longer route which mean they were going to the border and then reaching the temple which was kind of longer . David chuckled and said to himself " Smart very smart" . He knew that he could not follow both of them he had to forsake one of them . He wasn't trying to go against Anna as he knew she was like his father electric so no matter how strong she could hurt him by using even a little of her power as water was a good conductor of electricity . But Emma was an easy target and if he threatened to kill Emma Anna would stop as he knew no matter what Anna would not lose the last member of her family. So he strained and remembered Emma had got on the brown wolf so he changed his direction and ran after the brown wolf who was carrying Emma .
She looked back and yelled " Faster Jacob we have get there by the time they do and he is still behind us " both girls were weirdly using the torches and not using their powers to ward off the shadowy figures coming at them . Jacob picked up his pace and dashed towards the temple. They were a few paces away from the border before David caught up with them he Yanked Jacobs tail and threw him inside the border and the wolf fell and the girl on him was thrown off the wolf and they fell away from each other and they were hurt pretty badly due to being thrown with that much impact. David started to move towards the girl who was struggling to get up Jacob who received faster changed at David and tried to bite him but David caught the cage wolfs jaws which were open and pushed him back on hi hind legs and finally shoved the wolf away Jacob came at him agin in his wolf form and pounced and that was a mistake as David sensing it punched the wolf in his gut and then punched the wolfs face and pinned the wolf the wolf down and started to strangle him. Jacob stated to wiggle in pain and eventually stopped moving as he was exhausted . David stopped strangling him and picked him up and threw him to the ground hard as her heard Emma scream " Jacob" and she rushed to the wolf and held him as he returned to his human form and coughed up a little blood and tried to sit up panting. Davids strength knew no bounds as it had doubled. Emma helped Jacob sit and as David came towards them she got up and stood protectively in front of him . She looked at David and said " Ill give you one last chance stop this and ill let you go " David laughed and said " I don't think you are in a position TO GIVE ME THAT THREAT" and with that he yanked Emma towards him by her hair and held her hand and then shouted in the direction where he saw the black wolf was running saying " Anna if you don't want to lose your sister then I suggest you give me the pieces of the stone , I know you have both of them give it and ill let your sister live " Emma started to try and pull away yelled back " Don't listen , he never keeps his promises " David looked at the girl wriggling under his grip and he pulled her close and slapped her right across her face which made her cheek turn red " Jacob who was still struggling said " Coward, how dare you hit a defenceless woman " David turned to look at Jacob and said " You wolves pathetic creatures and too much empathy " . He grabbed both of Emmas wrists and activated his power his hair turning green the water was more dangerous and also poisonous it could drown Emma in seconds . The watered started to slowly creep up on her hands and he slowly ,moved his hands to her neck and held the water near her throat and yelled " last chance Anna " he still got no reply or the wolf didn't seem to change direction. suddenly he felt Emmas hands grip his wrists and he looked at her and said " Really Emma " and he tightened his grip on her neck and weirdly she smiled and as David looked her hands sparked a little and his grip loosened and he looked at her face and what he feared was true her hair turned orange not purple as Emmas would have changed and she pulled his hands off her Neck and David looked at her with a shocked expression and said " Your not Emma you are ..." Jacob replied from a corner " Light him Anna " and he transformed and howled with the strength he had left. And on the top Jake heard it and howled back and Emma who was actually on Jake the black wolf yelled " Whoa , yes he took the bait " And she tossed her torch aside and unleaded her fire power scaring away all the dark spirits and warriors coming at them . As Jake heard his brother he picked up his pace and raced towards the temple with all his might . As they ran Emma unleashing all her powers full extent their fate was covered in a trail of fire defending them from the spirits coming at them. Back there David tried to yank off his hands from Anna but her grip was too strong for him she gave him a shot just to jolt him and fell back . Anna just smiled and said " What's wrong grandpa don't want to meet your other granddaughter" David got up and tried to run towards Emma but Jacob blocked him and pushed him back further Anna made a electric field around them making sure the spirits don't reach them and that David won't escape having no choice he decided to use his strength against Anna and balled up his fist and lifted his had and Came at Anna trying to ram his fist into her . Anna ducked at the nick of time and elbowed him at the back of his neck and then kicked the back of his knee bring him down . Power amplified or not Anna was trained to fight and knew how to use a persons strength against them and also knew to attack immediately without waisting time and disarm them quickly. So She dint wait for him to recover and as he tried to grab her leg to try and trip her she grabbed his hand twisted it backwards and pushed him down with her knee stretching his hand and his body in different direction until she heard a crack dislodging his hand from his hand socket. David screamed and pushed Anna away with all his strength. Annas power activated again as she moved back . David conjured up his sword and ran at her trying to plung it into her using his one good hand but just his luck he felt a sharp pain in his leg and yelped to see the wolf which had bit his leg and tugging at his foot almost tearing off a part of his flesh . His conjured sward disappeared as soon as it had appeared until finally Jacob let go of his leg and the minute he turned Anna held him up holding his neck gave him the shock of a lifetime almost frying him up but not killing him and putting him through excruciating pain and finally when it needed David lay back on his back unable to move until Anna punched him on his face and said " That's for my mom " She punched him again and said " That's for my sister " And she punched him really hard and said "That's for my dad " At the last punch David fell back his face all bloody and he was exhausted and as Anna stepped away Jacob transformed into human form and picked David up with his collar and punched him so hard that David lost one of his tooth and Jacob said " that's for my family and " He punched him again snapping his neck to the other side and said " For everything else " Anna and Jacob looked around hoping that Jake and Emma had reached the temple as the spirits were getting strong and Anna was struggling to keep the electric fence up . The situation in the pack house was no different all witches and wizard were trying there best along with the fire defences of the wolfs castle. Leah was just as worried , after all, her children were out there still facing these spirits . One of the elder wizard came to Adam and said " Alpha we can't hold on much longer , if these spirits get stronger then we can't avoid them anymore. " Adam nodded and said " Then let's keep at bay as long as we can and hope the royals can do something ".
Jake reached the temple and Emma jumped off him and he transformed back , he knew Anna could handle David but he was still hoping they were fine . But he had something more important to finish now . So they both ran up to the temple Emma tossed the stones to Jake and he caught them in different hands and ran to the statute of the goddess wither hands that were cupped together . Emma went on to put up a fire ring surrounding the temple even though the spirits couldn't enter the temple she was taking extra precaution. Jake took the stoned and placed each stone on either hand of the goddess statue one by one and then he stepped back and knelt on the marble floor . The statue of the goddess was made of white marble and she looked really peaceful with her white robes which were carved into the staute. the temple was a peaceful place. Jake folded his hands by clasping them together and bowed his head to her and said " Goddess of the moon I Jake Adam Brown of the shadow pack and the first born prince of the werewolves clan on behalf of all the royals of both the clans bow before you and surrender the moon stone to your possession and ask for forgiveness for mine and the magical folks ancestors mistake and beg you to save us by restoring the moon stone and save all of us . Please moon goddess we are at your mercy" Jake closed his eyes and prayed to her with all the devotion he had in him Emma joined him and knelt beside him and she too prayed for a miracle . There was defending silence in the temple and after sometime the stones gleamed and with a small clink joined together ad the crack repaired itself and the moment the stone became whole it radiated a blinding light which shone through the entire land with its light all the shadowily figures were disfigured and diapered and all those who had been turned returned to normal. Anna and Jacob who had closed their eyes when one of the figure had almost reached them opened their eyes to the effect . David on the other hand had the dark power sucked from him leaving him defenceless and weaker than before. At that Jacob and Anna hugged each other . Anna yelled holding him " They did it , we won " Jacob yelled " That my brother , who ho " . Soon enough the guards of the witches who had been turned back reached them seeing David groaning on the floor all bloodied up and half burnt they bowed to Anna and Jacob " Anna looked at the guards and said " Take him but make sure he knows what's happening in the kingdom and make sure he is locked up pretty well with no chance pf escape until further notice. " The guards bowed and handcuffed David and dragged him away and he was too exhausted to even protest. After that Anna rode Jacob till the temple , Where Jake after the spirits had gone , lay on his knees with Emma crying to him hugging him . Suddenly they both heard a " Jake , Emma " and looked up to see Anna on Jacob . They both waved from the temple until They reached and Emma ran into her sister and they hugged each other and Emma looked at Anna worried at the blood on her until Jacob said " Its not our blood" Jacob didn't get a chance to continue before his brother pulled him into a rib crushing hug and sighing a breath of relief Jacob hugged him back and he heard Jake say " I'm sorry about hitting you, I really love you bro " Jacob chuckled and said " its cool, and Im really proud of you bro and I kinda love you too " Jake released Jacob and hugged Anna and kissed her on her forehead before hugging her again . Still holding Anna they both looked at Emma and Jacob. Emma looked at Jacob and said " I know saying a sorry is not enough for what I did to you but if you ...." Before Emma could finish Jacob pulled her towards him and kissed her long until Jake finally said " Alright bro let her breath" and Jacob let Emma go .
At the time they were rejoicing a soft with shone behind them and the statute came to life with goddess Selene with her long blonde hair and delicate features radiating light and divinity from her standing before them . At the sight of her all the four of them went down on their knees and bowed to her in respect , she in turn acknowledged them with a nod of her head and said " Rise young royals " As all of them stood up Selene looked at them and said " You have made sure that your ancestors mistakes have been rectified so well done all of you . And also well done on figuring out it just had to be the eldest royal not necessarily a witch or a wizard it could also be a wolf " They all bowed to her she finally turned to Jake " Your surrender and your devotion pleased me is there anything I can do for you young prince " Jake looked at the goddess and said " Moon goddess if possible can you bring the princesses parents back " Selene looked at him with a small smile and said " Im not sure if this is selflessness or love but since I have bestowed on you the boon so be it " Before retiring to her posture she said " Be warned royals the mistake is not to be repeated "Jake replied saying " The moon stone is yours goddess no one has the right to possess it " The goddess smiled and turned back into the statute now holding the moon stone. All of them bowed to her statute and started walking back to the pack house as even though not bleeding Anna and Jacob needed medical assistance at the impact of being hit by David that hard . On their way back they were met with many witches and wizards who were returning back to the castle and each one bowed to them on their way back . Halfway through Hector had no idea what had happened he had remembered dying and now he just felt he had fallen asleep he was on a grassy plain and was still manipulating if he was in heaven or not until he finally saw her in her white robe , smiling at him the woman he had loved his entire life . In the end only one word escaped from him " Evy " Evelyn had regained her former self after being reborn she too had contemplated if she was dead but she had seen people bowing to her and she was in the castle so she realised that she was not dead and had rushed out to see what was going on until she spotted Hector so she was still composed . Hector ran to her and kissed her even though tears flowed from both their eyes They touched their foreheads finally hugged , finally feeling the bliss they had been longing for almost eighteen years since their daughters were born .
Emma and Anna screamed " Mom " and "Dad " respectively and ran to their parents when they saw them walking towards them . The two girls almost crying hugged their parents . It was easy as Emma apologised to Hector for shooting him and he had already forgiven her but rather it was Anna who had no idea how to react to the mother she had never met. Evy looked at her and hugged her daughter and said " Anna , I've missed you so much " Anna thought she wouldn't feel anything after all she had so many questions as it is , but as her mother hugged her everything vanished and she melted into her mothers arms and said " Ive longed to see long mom " . The boys didnt wait and as soon as Anna let go of hector they had jumped to hug him . Evy's eyes slowly darted to the boys behind them and she slowly beckons them forward and they reached her she cupped their faces with each hand and said " Wow you both are the perfect combination of Adam and Leah " The boys smiled and bowed their heads and said " Nice to finally meet you your majesty alias Mrs Williams " Jake added in the end " We are not really sure how to address you " Evy just gave a small smile and said " For now just stick with Evelyn okay kiddo " The boys nodded and finally Hector spoke up " So can someone tell me how is that I am alive because I remember dying " Jacob replied " Well Mr. Williams it's a long story and we'll catch you up but lets get back to the pack house cause I think your father in law broke something of me " And he groaned . Jake held his brother and after sometime he gave up and just picked hJacob on his back and piggybacked him all the way back as he was slowing him down . Back at the pack house with the two families finally meeting each other and the long lost friends emotionally meeting and the rest of them being checked out by the pack healers. The main question what to do now how were the girls going to live and who would live where. Evy said " Should we exchange them for a while or something " Adam said " Well actually speaking Hector has alsdredy spent time with them so maybe you can keep them for a while Evy " Hector said " Well not a bad idea but I was hoping you and Emma would come live with us you know that was the basic idea " Evy nodded and said " well that was when my dad was in control so was just looking to be away from him . But now with dad behind bars the kingdoms duty falls on me so now I can't leave " Leah finally sighed and said " Guys why don't we ask the kids what they want " Evy and Hector looked at each other and well nodded in agreement . Now to ask the two of them they had to go to the infirmary as Jacob and Anna were still under observation . And bored out of their minds they wee found playing cards on the table . As their parents walked in Emma and Jake stood and Anna and Jacob sat up . Adam spoke up first saying " well girls your parents are able to decide where the two of you will want to live , so we want your opinion " Anna and Emma smiled at each other and Emma said " Actually we Bothe and the boys have a bit of a different idea" Evy asked " Which is ???" .
A few weeks later the four of them with their parents stood at the entrance of the business school . Evy asked " Are you guys sure you want to live on campus " Anna looked at her mom and said " Yes mom you and dad have been apart for so long you deserve some time together without your kids bugging you all the time. " Emma said " Plus I have know and had enough of the magical world I think I want to understand this part of my life as well after all I am a hybrid. Also we'll be back for the holidays " Hector and Evy nodded . Jake and Jacob looked at their parents and Jake said " You mom try and patch up things dad and we'll stay out of your affairs for now " Adam nodded and said " Go live your lives kids and we'll be here " The four nodded and took their luggages and went into the gates the girls took a right turn and the boys a left going to their dorms . Watching them go Evy looked at Hector and said " They really did grow up so fast dint they ??" Hector said " Too fast if I say so myself and they will still grow " .
14 years later
A small girl with black wavy hair and brown eyes sneaked around the empty castle which was completely silent I the afternoon which highly unlikely the girl looked behind her and beckoned boy who was the exact male version of her and they slowly sneaked around the corridor until they reached a big bedroom and pushed it open a little and looked inside they noticed that the occupants of the room were still asleep the boy looked at her and said " should we really wake them up they are still asleep " The girl looked at him and said "We have to if we don't want to be late". The boy sighed and nodded . The two kids slowly pushed the door open and went near to the bed and they slowly counted to three and then the two of them yelled together " Wake up we are going to be late" . Annas eyes shot open and she sat up ready to yell at however it was until she looked at the two eager eyes looking back at her . She sighed and pinched the bridge of hr nose and said "How many times have I asked the two of you to not do that. It freaks me out" The girl climbed onto the bed and sat on the bed followed byre brother on Anna and she put her hand around her and said " But mom its 6 we are going to be late if we don't start getting ready now " Anna put her hand s around her daughter waist and said " Honey its still 6 we don't have to get ready till 9 . " Her brother on the side said " But we did last time " Anna sighed and nodded and continued saying " Yes because we were hosting last time . it's your aunts turn this time so go back to your rooms and get some sleep cause I don't want the two of you to fall asleep during the ceremony okay. I'll wake you the its time " the two of them nodded and Anna shooed them both off her and out the room with a " Scoot " and they ran out. She lay back and looked beside her and Jake was still soundly sleeping " nShe turned to face him and after a while she said " I know you are awake " He slowly opened one eyes and smiled and finally opened both his eyes . He put his hand around her and pulled her closer until their foreheads were touching and said " How do you always know" Anna sighed and said " I've known you since childhood but seriously the ruckus those two create when they come into the room id be worried if you weren't awake" Jake just chuckled and closed his eyes and said " Well you are good at coming the down cool mom and I'm guessing you are not going to give me anymore children , yes ??" Anna raised one eyebrow and him and said " Jake the day I delivered those two was the day I said ' the shop is closed ' " Jan smiled and said " I remember and don't worry I don't want you to go through that pain again " Anna just turned away from him he just came closer to her hugging her from the back and she said " Just say another baby means less time with you " Jake placed his head on her shoulder and chuckled as he knew she was right . Anna had given birth to a pair of fraternal twins a female and a male they had named them Jane a Jason . But from that day the kids demanded every bit of their attention and it was difficult to try and keep things fair . Plus with their children being a hybrid of werewolf and sorcerers their energy was too much and their powers were already coming in which demanded their parents teaching the to control both. Their entire time was spent with the kids when they were not dealing withy they affairs of the pack that the only time they got together was at night. Even though being married for almost 9 years they still behaved as friends around people and Jake acted all cute only when he was alone with her which she dint mind. Anna just placed her hand over his and relaxed into him . Anna would fit right into Jakes arm due to him being so much taller to her so he place his head on hers and they both drifted back to sleep peacefully.
Back at the sorcerers side there was excessive bustling with many off them running around fixing the castle and several of the in the kitchen and Emma in the middle of it all giving orders in a frenzy and yelling at literally everyone. Until finally Jacob came in and saw her going crazy at a servant . He sighed to himself every year it was their turn Emma would go crazy. He went over and they servant looks at him with relief and he singled them to leave and he hugged Emma from behind and held her hand and placed his head on her shoulders and said " Emma , honey just breath its going to be fine " He held on saying soothing words to her until she came down and then let her go . She turned to him and said " Thank you I needed that " Jacob nodded and said " Yeah , I know you freaked out the entire kitchen staff. Emma its going to be fine you do this every year. So please keep your cool , okay " Emma nodded and Jacob continued " Now the dishes are ready so let them finish the setting up okay and you come with me and give a final check on the outside setting " Emma nodded and Jacob dragged her out giving a thumbs up to the kitchen staff who looked at him with gratitude . Jacob had mastered the art of calming Emma down and her various mood swings during her pregnancy which was not easy. As he took her out a small girl with brown straight hair and black big eyes came towards him and rubbing her sleepy eyes she tugged at him . Emma and Jacob sat down on their knees to face her and Emma said " Ava hon, why you out of bed " She just looked her father and he sighed and said " The boys came in again " She just nodded and said " they kick around and woke me up " she looked at Emma and asked said " Can I use your room mom " Emma looked at Jacob and smiled at her and said " Sure honey " Ava gave a drowsy smile and left in the same tired way she had come . Ava was 7 years old just a month younger than Jane and Jason. She was the perfect combo of her parents . Emma and Jacob had wanted another child but as luck would have it the second time Emma gave birth to twin boys who were the exact replica of their older sister and hence they adored her and never left her alone but Ava had the character of her mother and really needed her personal space which her 5 year old brothers rarely gave her.
The main reason for the two different atmosphere was because after business school the 4 of them returned and Jake took over the pack from his father and later married Anna and made her is Luna and Anna bowed out and gave up her claim as first born to the throne of the sorcerers claiming that Emma knew the people better and she would make a better queen. Jacob had given up his Beta position and ruled beside Emma as King . Jake had taken over Jackson as his Beta. As for Hector and Evy they stayed with Emma and Jacob whereas the Jake and Jacobs parents had finally gotten back to gather and lived with the pack . The two kingdoms had agreed that the moon festival which was back to being celebrated would be hosted by one of the kingdom turn by turn every year. And the ceremony of the worship of he moon goddess would be held at the temple where the now complete moon stone was placed and the stone was now protected by laser which required all the four royals retinal scan to dismantle . The temple was redecorate and made big enough to accommodate 2 entire kingdoms and the temple depicted a large open auditorium . But the statute of the moon goddess was held the same and it was directly under the moons rays.
The festival would commence at midnight. The two royals walked forward their children in front of them with the rest of them following behind . Anna wore a red long gown with long flowy sleeves and Jake in a long robe which came down a little above his knees which was black with the same black pants Emma and Jacob came in the same attire which was customary but Emma wore the gown in Pink and Jacob had is robe in white . All the royals bowed to each other and then turned to the goddess and went down on their knees and bowed to her as followed by their subjects as The moons rays slowly touched the moon stone and stone shone lighting up the entire audience with its radiance and signifying a new beginning. Back at the castle the royals had changed their clothes with Jake and Jacob wearing a white shirt with a black tux by Jake and a nsvy blue tux by Jacob with their pants the same . The girls had further changed too now Anna wore a black pant and a top with full skeeves inxludi.g a thumb hole in white and Emma had changed into a similar outfit but with a red top. The sisters had made sure that they wore different colour clothes so as to not confuse their husbands. Anna turned to look at her daughter and her niece playing with Jason and Ava's brothers. Emma asked her " what you looking at sis " she hugged her sister by putting her hand around her neck . Anna tilted her head to rest on her shoulders and said " wondering if they will still be the same after they grow up as well" Emma smiled at he children's playing and said " well we raise them making sure they meet each other often with the sleepovers and both our firstborns are female so Im hoping they will be after all we are inspite of growing up apart for many years " Anna nodded smiling . she knew that the kids will be fine but she just loved hearing Emmas explanation . She looked at her sister and said " well ready " Emma looked at her and said " ready" they both activated their powers and sent a fire ball and electric ball into the sky once the two balls collided the sky exploded with fireworks . The girl had been practicing for a long time for this to work . Jake and Jacob looked to this and Jacob said " We have to be careful don't we " Jake replied " in certain circumstances , Yes " the boys looked at each other and started laughing . As they stared at e sky their parents hugged the girls and they were joined by the rest of their family their kids pushed through to the front and Jake and Jacob picked up each of the twin boys so that they could see. Anna and Emma stared at the fireworks the twin sisters finally happily reunited in their blissful world.
