                             STRANGE LAND :VICTORS WAR

In the dead of the night the man walked up the hill top slowly and slightly staggering.The night was cold and eerie but the mans focus was on the moon . He seemed to be mesmerized by it . He reached the top of the hill top and suddenly threw down his shawl that was protecting him from the cold .Suddenly his legs and hands became hairy he began growing claws and then his ears became long and his mouth became longer and turned into a snout and he howled in the dark of the night loud and clear .Announcing that he was ready to hunt .

Abhay switched off his TV .What nonsense was this .Werewolves were as fictional as ghosts .Abhay was a guy who never believed in fiction .He told that what he saw was what he believed in .He was just watching the movie because he had an argument with Naina (his girlfriend ) about werewolves being real or not now he literally felt that it was a huge waste of time .Being a professor he was a man of philosophy and government and not someone who believed in mythical creatures .

He gave a long sigh and his mother from the kitchen asked him “feel like u wasted ur Sunday listening to Naina” his answer was “yes “

“then why did u listen to her “

“well to win the argument”

“if wherewolves exist or not “

“and as usual she won and u dint agree and well u again dint agree and she asked u to watch this in order to prove it to u “

“well I like her she knowns how to keep u in control “

“not my fault that she belives in those things that don’t exist”

“if u cant win an argument with her u definetly cant win against me then don’t even try to stir up an argument with me “

“MOM”

This was a everyday story in the house his mom was always on Nainas side . He did love her but was always  jealous of the attention his mother gave her instead of him . ‘Women’ he thought to himself . he decide to get done on the papers of the test  he had given . There was one thing He always felt great about one thing and that was the tension he put his students in .Yes , statistic pleasure was one of his very big habits. He also prided himself on it too .

AAs his mind wandered to the college he thought about the first benchers of the class .A group of four friend 3 girls and a boy ,different personalities and different habits but one thing was odd about them that he noticed was every time they would always be cautious around him .He always thought maybe they weren’t very social but for the past few months they were really sticking to him he coudnt be alone without one of them keeping an eye on him.

“Abhay” .He herd his mothers shrill voice from downstairs .Dinner was ready was the only meaning of her calling at this time . He looked down and saw that he was done with the task he had set up . he got up and thought to himself he just needed some dinner and some rest to get his mind off .

Outside the house a shadow lurked a pair of red eyes were looking at him . The person made a phone call .

“still watching him r u sure he is the one “ the voice on the other side replied “sure”

“why r we still watching him shoudnt we get him already “

“only when the time is right “

“and when is that time”

“do as ur told and don’t ask questions “

“I am tired of this watching him all the time “

“ u know why we r doing this and keep informing me of his actions or if u spot anything suspicious”

The voice on the other side cut the line .The guy gave a frustrated grunt and continued watching him .He wanted to give up and go home but he knew to follow his orders obediently . Hence he continued to watch Abhay and slowly blended back into the background before Abhay turned to look at him .

‘Well today went well’ thought Abhay to himself he had massaged his statistic pleasure by handing out assignments to the students given out the papers enjoying the look on the faces of all his victims . Only one thing bothered him the expressionless faces of the front benchers . It felt as they were really trying to be mean to him. Specially the girl Annanya .She was the quiet one in the group ,kept to herself .But today she was staring at him the whole time which was weird because though the colleges 75% students (females) were crushing on him she was one who was never intrested in any guy leave alone him . he went to his cabin and lay back in his seat . He had his coffee and tried to relax himself .

‘tring tring’ he woke up with a start he gazed at his phone and knew that he had to pick the phone cause he dint and coudnt ignore the the person .

“Hey baby ,how was the movie “ Naina’s voice rang out on the phone .

Abhay massaged his temples .Last thing he wanted today .

With a troubled expression and with difficulty he said “it was great “

“you actually feel like u wasted ur Sunday dint you “

“got me “

“then do you want to watch me something on vamires “

“Naina I love u but I am not watching another one of those movies again “

“alright suit yourself. Anyways u sound tired”

“your right .for once I agree .later babe love u “

“love u too”

After that he felt a lot better and felt that now he could relax but that was short lived because he saw Vijay (one of the group member )  looking at him but as soon as he saw him Vijay smiled and moved on .”aarrrgh”Abhay threw his head back ‘why wont these people leave me alone’ .

The afternoon class was boring as usual except for the 4 of them staring at him everyone else was drowsy

There was a knock on the door .Abhay had a system of not letting late comers come into the class and hence locked his door after the period bell .He just presumed it was one of the late comers and continued .The knocking continued an he still ignored .But what happened next was not expected by any one the door flew off its hings in a broken state and fell a few distance away from Abhay .The drowzy class was awaken and everyone stared at the broken door at the entrance stood a girl slender,attractive her eyes complimented her face and she was fair in complexion . She had a black leather jacket and black pants .and it seemed that she had punched the door open

The entire audience was both confused and intrested .She stepped in and her glance went around the room. And finally landed on Abhay .She looked at him from head to toe ,almost as if analysing him .She stopped and looking at his face she started laughing loudly so much that tears started flowing from her eyes .

Controlling her laughter she finally said “you ,the Merlin ,man thats hard and funny to believe” .

Oh by the way Abhay was a very lean guy .He never went to gym Never worked out and usually would always run away from fights . So if she was talking about a fighter she defineitly had a reason to laugh .

She continued “we don’t need an army to kill you .I’m enough. Victor is worrying for no reason .You are no threat.”

Abhay had one question “who the hell are u “

For an answer the girl dint reply she flipped her hair back and took 2 steps back .Abhay was first confused that the girl could knock down a door and now why was she taking a step backwards .What was going on ? he got his answer when she leaped forward and in a second transformed into a huge wolf .It growled at him and the next minute pounced at him he just covered his eyes all he heard was a few few shrieks and then a loud thud and the wholf wining .As he opened his eyes he saw the bord broken into 2 and also the wolf lying on the floor .when he looked up from her he saw the reason for this situation .

Annaya was standing in front of him .Pretty much in protecting way .She said 2 words “ GO AWAY” . The wolf returning to its human form sneered at her .”I knew it . u  will be here protecting him .Come on Annanya show them who you are .”

“this is not ur fight serena “

“oh it was always a fight between us .You know that “

“now is not a time to discuss about what happened and who got chosen”

“easy for u to say .and for the record it was always about who got chosen”

“you have one last chance to end this peacefully . Return now “

Finally Abhay who was petrified spoke up .”ok one momement I have a hell lot of questions first of who is she ? who are you ?and how come that in spite of having asthama you are able to throw a wolf like that ?how did she transform into a wolf ?and seriously is this some kind of prank”

Annanya spoke up “I’ll answer ur questions later .I’m kind a busy trying to keep u alive “

Annaya was a sick person had asthama and was pretty weak .she looked healthy but was a like a butter soft kid .she was fair skinned ,not to skinny nor too fat she was perfect ,mostly silent and kept to herself. It was astonishing for everyone to see her like this .

Serena recovered and transformed again and got ready to pounce Annaya started breathing heavy she looked like she was going to have another asthma attack her friends got up but not to get her pump but rather took up a fighting stance .But she signalled them to stand back and said “I want to minimise damage”

They bowed and steped back .Abhay was literally petrified and was wondering why no one gave her the pump .he suddenly heard a low growl .Annaya suddenly jumped and transformed into a wolf with white fur and growled at the other wolf and he noticed that all were as scared as him except her friends .who stood ready to strike in case any need arised .

The 2 wolves fought .one bitting the other one starching the other and literal fight where one was trying to kill the other .After a while Serena was pinned down and both of them returned to their natural forms . Annanya held serena down and said “I know u dint come to fight or else u woudnt have come alone”. Serena stared at her and said “Victor sends his regards and said that his warriors are ready is ur Merlin in any way ready”

Annanya released her and said “Tell Victor if it’s a war he wants it’s a war he will get”

Serena left with a smile and said “see u at the battle”    .Annanya’s friends ran to her and asked “now what Beta ?He is not safe here anymore” said Lily .Annaya looked worried and after a pause she said “Inform the camp we have to take him there .You are right lily he is not safe here”

Vijay: but will he be safe there

Annanya : we don’t have any other choice

Sameera:  what about todays incidents .We have a lot of witnesses and we cant just let know about us and its not easy to erase some many memeories .

Lily :  should we use the erase beacon ? its faster

Annaya : Fine ,after all this is an emergency . Vijay call James         and Demitrey and tell them to get a substitute for our Merlin .

Sameera : but how are we going to get him there he cant even transform how on earth r we going to get him till the camp .

Anannaya : lets hope he is not too heavy . Looks like I have to carry him .all the way there . I’m starting to regret being his protector

Abhay finally who recovered now spoke up “Whoa hold ur discussions right there I’m not going any where with you guys .i am really confused and really hope I’m dreaming right now .One of you just turned into a wolf and had a battle in here and now I’m not sure if I have gone totally crazy .So I am not going anywhere until I have a few answers. A nd how do I know u guys are not going to kill me”

Annanya :if we wanted to kill you we would have done it a long time ago .and I’ll give all the answers on the way to camp” . but for now our job is to keep you safe .So if you want to live come with us.”

Abhay : You expect me to just come with you .

Annanaya : I expect you to trust us .And I promise no one can hurt you as long as you stay with me .So please trust me and come with us .

Abhay had mixed feelings but after what he had seen today he knew his only choice was to trust the one who had tried to save him.and finally said “looks like I don’t have much of a choice than to trust you guy”.

Annanya smiled and spoke into her watch “All centres abort . Return to camp .We are on the verge of war .”

She threw something that looked like a ball and it opened a portal all four of them transformed into wolves and went through the portal Annanya asked Abhay to sit on her and then jumped through the portal .They were going through a dense jungle and Annanya was deep I thought .She looked at the guy perched on her back and thought “ Is he the one who will save us all or will he led us to our doom”

“We’ll rest here for the night we can reach there by tommmorow morning” Annanya came to a halt panting .Abhay was wondering how he was able to understand what they were saying and added that question to his list of questions he was planning to ask her .

As Annaya curled up and got ready to sleep Abhay realised that he was cold so he spoke up “can ….u..u…provide some…thing to keep from getting a frost bite” .She opened one eye and lifted her tail signalling him to use her tail as a blanket and her body as a pillow . Though hesitant he agreed as he had no other choice .

“SO do u want to kow who you are and what you are” her question startled him as he saw that her lips were not moving .sensing that she gave an answer stating that she was communicating through mind .”I’m pretty sure you guys called me a Merlin” was his question . “not a Merlin ,the Merlin “ Annaya answered .

“who is a merlin “

“ Merlin is another name for a scorcer or say magician in our world .A werewolf that possesses powers more than a normal were wolf the power of transforming  into any creature other than just a wolf .including the control of elements like water and air .”

“what powers does a normal  werewolf posses “

“ Every werewolf has the super strength ,superhearing , and can sense and see danger from much further and can control one element ,like I can control water that is turning it into ice and the force of melting the ice and also controlling water flow .” “but u my friend are different u can take many forms and control all the elements that is fire ,water ,air and earth they mainly are the powers that u posses”

“but I’M not evn a werewolf .I think you got the wrong person “

“you are a were wolf u just don’t know it because it was dangerous for u to stay here because we needed a saviour and if you were in this world Victor would have killed you when you were a baby your mother  decided that it was not safe for you and that you had to return to make things right and destroy Victor and return justice to us”

Abhay felt like she shone when she said that but she naturally looked down and said “it simply means you have to kill Victor”.Abhay felt a shock run down his spine he had never even fought with someone forget hurting anyone and now he had to kill someone .

“but I don’t know how to fight .if you mean kill him in his sleep then that is no problem for me .”

“what there is no honour in that you will fight him one to one combat and then free all the wolves that are under his spell “

“so will the wolves that are under his spell also aattack me “

“maybe, they do what he wants them to do and if he wants them to kill you then yes they will”

“and who is going to stop them you don’t mean I have to fight them all”

“ no , of course not ur army or our pack will help you .Also Victor no ordinary guy he also is a merlin and it takes a merlin to kill another merlin or else we woudnt need you”

“dosent that also mean that he can kill me “

“yep he can and will try to .So its either u kill him or he kills you so either u save us or doom us “

“ok I think I’m starting to regret coming with u guys “

“Don’t worry we will teach you how to fight and you be ready””and when I mean ready I mean u have to learn fast we have only 2 months left for the war “

“ Annanya do u think I can fight this guy .Imean I always run away from fights”

“You may be coward now but you have the blood of a werewolf and the compassion of a human you definetly will not run from this war “ “I’m hoping”

“ you know I’m kinda still not sure I am the one”

“well time will reveal that .Right now time reveals that its time to sleep””get some rest u have a big day tomorrow”

Abhay closed his eyes and since Annaya was warm he fell asleep soon .Annaya mind  connected to the alpha also her best friend “Abhi we are coming .Let’s hope he is the one they have been waiting for”. Abhimanyu replied through the mind control “Have faith and believe in destiny”

Annaya thought to herself the only choice she had was to believe in destiny hers and Abhays and how their destinies connected them. All she could do was wait she closed her eyes placed her snout on Abhay’s lap and fell into a troubled sleep.

At camp Abimanyu sat at the lake with his eyes closed and thinking about the Merlin his communication with Annaya had made him feel uneasy . He had trusted her to do her duty obediently .F or the first time she had sounded doubtful .His long line of alpha ancestors had thought him to be the leader he was suppose to be .

He knew who the Merlin was and like his father had made sure that the Merlin was safe and had people protecting him .Also he even sent his Beta the day he found out that she was his protector to go and and make sure that he was safe and also when time was right to bring him back .He trusted Annaya and her decisions she would not be worried if there was no trouble but this was the first time she actually spoke to him in this troubled tone .It was unusual for her to behave like this he knew that danger was near many alphas had gone missing .they were alive but they were captured and their packs under Victors control.

Their only hope was the Merlin they hadn’t planned to bring for another 2 years but after what had happened in the human world they had to bring him back to the white moon pack . but if the Merlin was not what he was ,what if the Merlin could not help them ,the description he had got of the Merlin was not very appealing and he hadn’t expected him to be so feeble and definitely not a coward . he really hoped this would work or else “Odin help us all”.

Abhay was asleep on Annaya’s back. He hadn’t slept very well after all the fact of having to kill or be killed was not a very peaceful thing to think about . He woke when she jerked her back “we are here”she said when he awoke . the camp was not what he had imagined it to be there was camp fire or anything he found that   a bunch of people were with bows and arrows a few of them fighting with swords a few more were practicing running there were both people and wolves fighting .What was most astonishing was even women and girls were pretty vicious while fighting .In a small clump he realised that there a bunch of kids who were really practising to fight the kids were able go transform into wolves (though they were wolf pups) . Abahy’s main question was “ at what age can they start transforming into wolves”. “ by 10 years they are thought to transform but they fighting for the age of 5”

WOW!he wasn’t even abe to break a thick at that age these kids were aldready fighting . The kids ran up to her yelling “beta your back” . they looked up at abhay and one of them said “who is that . and why is sitting on you ?”

Annanya replied in pretty soft tone” the Merlin” she actually said in a pretty dramatic tone and that made Abay realise that the Merlin was like their superhero to them .and then questions came stroming at her “ why is he a human” “ can he transform” “ tell him to control the elements” “ can he teach us to fight “

Annanya waited until all the questions to finish and said “ he cant do those things yet and you guys have to help him to learn but for now he has to meet the Alpha and you guys have to get back to practicing”. The guy in front asked “ can we come to the battle field also. I want to fight beside you sis”. Annanya looked down and said “ Nicholas I know you and your friends are brave that’s why I need you here to protect the camp who knows what Victor might do .I need you to protect our people when we are fighting .you can do that cant you”. “Of course we can” and off they were .

Annanya went a little further and motioned Abhay to get down . and she transformed back to her human form . She somehow seemed a little older that she was she was supposed to be about 18, but she actually looked about his age he turned back and realised that all of her 4 friends had also grown to about his age .He caught up with her and asked “ how on earth did you grow so fast” . “what do you mean” she asked

“ you were18 the last time I saw you”

“ oh no , actually im 25 about your age”

“ then how come you looked so small that time “

“ well I can change my age for a particular amount of time and can look younger for a considerable amount of time”

Abhay sure wished she was like this she was a strong looking women she was slender ,had long hair , eyes which had an intimidating look and she gave off an aura of being a warrior and a leader . She went up he went upto a tall rock and she got down one one knee , put her right fist on her left chest bowed her head and uttered one word “Alpha” to a wolf sitting on the rock.

The wolf turned and started decending from the rock and with bits last leap down turned into a guy . as he came down he said rise “ rise beta and warriors of the white moon pack .Welcome back”. As she rose he came over and fist bumped her and they hugged the way friends do . “welcome Melin we have awaited for quite a long time for you” “my name is Abhimanyu the alpha of white moon pack” . Abhay had no idea why and how he was getting so much respect but accepted it . but instead of shaking his hand the Alpha bowed down to him . Abhay said “ Alpha look I really appreciate all the respect and bowing that you all have being doing but I still think I am not the guy you guys were expecting.”

“well “the alpha “ your defineitly not the merlin we were expecting but you are the merlin we need”

“but I don’t even know to fight how do you expect me to defeat a guy who has training for god knows how many years”

“don’t worry we can train you more of Annaya will train you no big deal in archery and swordsmanship and all the weapons that you need but the powers you posses can only be unlocked and discovered by you” “and only if you believe in yourself”

“but what if ------“

Abhay coudnt even finish his question when suddenly someone woshed pasted him and hugged annanya yelling “ANNANYA”.

Annanya almost fell with force but hugged her back and said “still enthusiastic as ever”

She replied back “we lived in the human world and never saw each other for 2 whole years .I am so happy to see you. but again cant be too happy as you know we have a war to prepare for but again you know happy to see you happy to be back ---“ she was literally speaking so fast until Abhimanyu said  “ she gets it your happy to see her”. 

She turned around and faced Abhay she replied in a pretty irritated tone “oh , its you”.When he saw her he was shocked she was thin , slightly shorter than Annanya and resembled Abhimanyu a lot . Abhimanyu started “ I believe you have already met my sister”

Abhay who finally found his voice managed to say one word “Naina”.as if hadn’t had a crazy day already he just found out that he had been dating a werewolf for 6 whole years.Abhay almost felt dizzy.

Naina started off again “im so glad to be back its much better that the 6 years of torture that humans call ‘dating’ .Damn its so much more complicated than who we wolves mate . Iwe know that the other person is our mate and that’s it right .but no ,in the human world you suppose to go through a long system or torturous procedure that’s is going out and spending money. I don’t understand it at all”

This time Abhay SPOKE UP “SO YOU WERE JUST FAKING to love me . That’s why I thought that how come you asked me out .i just presumed you had guts”

“What no I was just following orders that were given to me by my brother that is to keep you safe outside from Victors pack . but now that you are here you are safe and I’m free and can go with my life and don’t have to use any more words like ‘love you’ ‘miss you’ and ‘babe’ blah blah . im finally free” “but I guess my bro and you have some discussions to do so see you later”

Annanya replied “since I do have some work how about you show the Merlin his quarters Naina”

With a frustrated grunt she said “fine .” turning to Abhay she said “come on and if you say one word about dating I will seriously pounc and kill you”Abhay obediently followed cause he knew that she meant what she said and she will do it.

“Annanya leaned closer to his ear and whispered sorry about you breakup and sorry we put you through this”Abhay replied “I hate you all of you”.Annanya said

“well just so you know your best friend dev is also a were wolf “

“what , whats next my parents are were wolfs too “

“No , your parents are not you biological parents they just believe that you are their son”

Then who are my parents yor mom is a human and your dad a werewolf and who they are I’ll  tell you later”.with that he followed Naina scared and slightly confused.

Annanya dismissed her friends who were patiently suggesting that she wanted to speak with the alpha alone .

They both walked talking

    “so you think he is the one “started Annanya

“ive told you before just have a little faith”

“we have 2 months to train him”

“annanya he is our only hope you know that we have no choice “

“ im not worried about the warfare skills he has to learn that is the easy part it’s the powers that he has to harness that worries me “

“ he will harness them I have a feeling that he is our saviour . what I don’t get is why dint you tell him the truth”

“he has had enough to digest for one day. And he just found out about his girlfriend and his best friend so I guess hes had enough “

“ are you afraid that he will react the way you did . it was pretty hard on you”

“ im just afraid that he will run away if I do tell him now “

“then when are planning to tell him”

“when the time is right and when it is important for him to know .Afterall we all need a reason to fight”.

Abhay followed naina into the tent which had been set up .He saw that the tent was kept and put up exclusively for him no one had been in it and no one had stayed in it either . There was a armour that was kept in the side of the tent . Abhay s gaze again wandered and rested again on Naina he was still in a daze and coudnt belive that she was the one whom he had been dating and she calls that torture.

“staring at me is not going to change the fact that I am a werewolf and that I am not intrested in you” she suddenly said

Abhay replied

“I thought u told me not to talk about that “

“You can’t I can it’s my brothers pack I’m kind of the princess”

“So ur second in command “

“No I’m not in command at all I’m just one of the dancers and I know archery “

“So who is second in command “

“Annanya is majorly second in command”

“so can I ask you something and you wont pounce on me “

“ that depends ,but now that you mentioned it I need to know the question”

“Did you only ask me out because you had to or did you have any feelings at all towards me “

“look buddy” Naina came really close to his face and said menacingly “I asked you because that was my orders I never had and will never have any kind of feelings TOWARDS YOU ,SO GET THAT IDEA OUT OF YOUR HEAD”

With that she left , after that conversation he was actually glad she was not his girlfriend . Now it made sense why she was so bent on proving that werewolves existed . she was one of them after all. He tried to go back to sleep but just coudnt . as if answering to him Annanya came in “Rough day im guessing”. “ you think “ was his answer.

“well going to get rougher “ she threw a padir of cloths towards him “ what are these for “ he looked at them they looked like an old warrior uniform . “well your not going to be training in jeans and t –shirts . and had to guess your size well you got to get stronger that weak body is not going to get you through with Victor “

Abhay put on his suit it was loose but he coudnt blame anyone he was pretty skinny . Annanya had asked him to meet her near the lake . it took some time to find it and he realised why she had asked him to come there she already had all the equipments for training “ took you long enough” she asked “ got lost” which was the truth after all the kids had shown him how to get there . she nooded to Nick (Nicholas ) who said an ‘all the best ‘ to me and left .

She started “ so what im going to teach you is just Warcraft it includes swords , archery , spears and knives . but other than this you will also have to harness the power to control the elements that I cant teach you all I can do is show you how I can control one element “

She went towards the lake and closed her eyes and she moved her hands slowly upwards and the water in the lake slowly came in a stream the water moved the way she moved her hands .it seemed to be in her control . It made the shapes and things and designs the way she wanted it to and finally she gathered the water into a circle at the top of the lake and it exploded spraying water in all directions and falling back into the lake “ I can do this because I focus and am one with the water . focus makes you one with the element and hence it understands and follows you . the elements have a life that is very important, remember that”Annanya seemed to say it in a very ritual way . “so when do we begin that “

“ that is when your focus is good first I want you to make yourself stronger “

“how do u want me to work out”

“see that track around us , you have to run around it”

“ok , is that all”

“for now”

Abhay started to run with Annanya screaming “faster , faster” he finally stopped and said “I’m going as fast as I can”

“well its not fast enough , if you run at this speed victor will kill you in minutes , you will be dead even before you reach him”

“ Look this is your choice to train me its your job to make me run faster why don’t you think of something”

“well” she said “I have an idea but you see its kind of crazy “

Abhay felt like he was not going to like her ‘plan’and pretty fast found out why her idea to him run was not fun . She ha the young pups chase him around the track to make sure that he runs fast this when she said faster she was signalling the wolves. Abhay was mainly running so that the wolf pups don’t catch up and don’t get him. Well that was because Annanya had given them the freedom to sink their teeth binto him if they ever caught him  The only rest or break he got was when the wolf pups got exhausted and stoped . But he realised that the pups regained their strength pretty quickly. When the sun began to set Abhay was both exhausted and happy that he managed to save him butt from the wolf pups teeth.

“well done you did pretty well today” Annanya said quite teasingly . Abhay was furious and exhausted so he gave trying to argue with her. He stormed off to his tent and Annanya knew that he would not be joining them for dinner.

Annanya somehow felt uneasy and hence couldn’t sleep . she went to the lake and saw that her spot had aldready been taken by Abhay . she went and sat next to him after a long pause he finally spoke up . “why do you belive that I can defeat this guy victor he is trained and  warrior and pretty brave im nothing but a loser “

“Abhay u r not a loser look at all that you have done to come with a bunch aof wolves needs guts and you have it , you manage to teach hundreds of students and answer tons of questions and at the end of the day still manage to keep your cool that’s talent ,and to be ready to fight even though you feel you wont win that’s what a true warrior spirit is , all you need is a little push and a little training “

Annanya got up and started walking away “wait” Abhay’s voice rang out “I don’t know if I am the merlin or not but if so many of you believe in me so much that your ready  to die for me then Im pretty sure I can believe in myself too” before going back Abhay turned and said “I cant be the merlin you were expecting but I will  be the merlin you need”

“spoken like a true leader” was Annanyas response .

Abhay was true to his promise a little floppy at first he managed to learn how to run faster within a few days .Annanya next taught him how to fight . mainly she started training him in hand to hand combat and then made sure that he practised with the warriors pairing him up with them. Every night Abhay had bruises all over himself . Once she felt he was good enough she moved on to archery teaching him to hold the bow and how to aim . At this time Abhay mainly took help from Naina who through time became less mean to him and naturally they started enjoying each others company.

Annanya taught him to dodge the blows and also how to defend him self .

“half of your fighting skills depend on how you can defend yourself also remember in a combat it necessary to stay alive than win” Annanya said . Every time he fell she asked him to get up and go again .Annanya was specialised in sword fighting and also in archery so she always made sure that that practice was against her “your not good enough until your sword reaches my neck”she yelled this every time she defeated him.

When it came to powers training she trained him in water , Abhimanyu trained him in fire ,James their general trained in air and  Naina trained him in earth controlling of elements was only after dark . Learning to heal his wounds faster was the most painful part of his training. Annanya told him not to use that often as he needed to conserve his energy.

He became very close with one of the wolves who nursed wounds , her name was Disha a middle aged women who he learnt had lost a daughter to the spell of Victor . she used to help nurse his wounds . within a month Abhay mastered all the skills including control of all the elements , Warcraft and also in agility. But what Abhay coudnt master was turning into a wolf no matter how hard he tried.

“just why cant I transform” Abhay shouted in frustration

“its maybe because you never did from childhood its gonna take time and don’t worry even if you can I’ll carry you” Annanya said listening to him

“I know just would be better , is there any way I can trigger them ?”

“well your emotions will ,like anger mostly will trigger your wolf instinct “

“ well if your wounds heal fast then what exactly kills you guys”

“wolfbane and silver bullets , wolf bane is very dangerous for us and well silver dosent agree with our body”

“ and I don’t understand ur classifications of the groups and what is wolfbane and who is the omega and what exactly kills a Merlin”

“whoa , that’s a lot of questions and I’ll answer them slowly” “so sit down and listen. Werewolves are classified into four main groups they are the warriors ,the healers ,the messengers and the spies . The warriors are mainly the fighters they go into battle and fight wars ,the healers are the nurses and doctors as you call them they mainly make medicines and are also in charge of wolfbane they make their own medicines and can cure us within days . The messangers are the ones who give our messages to the other packs and deliver the messages of the spies to us . the spies are the ones who is mainly the ones who can spy on others and also those who also watch someone like you . we had Demitrey watching you  THE ENTIRE TIME . but spies and messengers also fight every one is thought a little fighting and little bit of medicine in case of emergencies .          

   Wolfbane is a poisonous Eurasian herb with round leaves and yellow fruits and fibrous rootstock. This mainly causes us to die instantly or may cause chocking . also silver is very deadly for us anything in silver will kill us our swords and arrows are made of silver.

There is a sword known as the willdor what it is you can find out but that is good enough to kill a Merlin . the Willdor is mainly at Victors castle .so we have to steal it . but its dangerous .they say no one comes back from the place alive .And also the fact that you have to learn about the willdor you can also learn who the omega is.”

Abhay asked “where is that” .Annanya smiled and said “the library of course”

The library was actually a huge screen which could be displayed through a wristband . “this band is a very important technology it included books and communication through hologram and also there is a homing device which will let the nearby woves know in case of danger .”Annanya explained and left adding “I know you love books so enjoy”

For once Abhay was happy she was right he loved books and  so he started off with the willdor . According to the book the willdor was a sword which was mainly made will the silver and wolfbane of the finest quality it could cut through anything and also was enough to kill a Merlin .The willdor was made by Shanagen the first merlin ever and he made it to impart equality and was mainly the weapon and symbol of justice .If gone into the wrong hands could destroy the fate of all werewolves. ‘man , that’s serious’ thought Abhay.

“reading so late “Abhay looked up to see who it was , he saw Naina standing there smiling “mind if I join you” she asked . “pretty sure it’s a free place” Abhay said smiling back . Naina sat beside him and joined him in reading after a while Abhay switched of the band and asked “im not really in a condition to read anymore so can you tell me about the Omega”.

Naina looked at him with surprise and asked “wait , so you really don’t know “ ,”nope” said Abahy, Naina continued “ well , being a merlin you should know but since you don’t ill tell you . an omega is a protector of the Merlin . the sole person whom the merlin can trust and rely on at all times . But you may ask how is a omega identified? well, that’s easy just how a merlin can be identified by seeing the eye colour…….”

“what” Abhay asked

Naina again looked at him in that peculiar way and continued “You don’t know that? ok Merlins when born have red eyes till they are about one year old so you can identify them . Well coming back Omegas the defenders are born with the merlin so naturally the Merlin and the Omega are twins ,Can be maternal or fraternal twins”

“So that means I have a twin” Abhay asked with astonishment

“Duh, yeah”

“Who is it?”

“So she dint tell you did she ? Well that explains it why you don’t know about the omega”

“Naina will you please tell me . I’m dying toknow”

“Ok ,Annanya is your protector and naturally ……”

“MY SISTER”

“Yep , well you got one thing right”

“where is she”

“Near the lake I’m guessing”

Even before Naina could complete Abhay had run out of the tent .Naina shook her head . ‘Boys’ they find out one thing and don’t even wait for the person to finish .

Abhay ran he dint stop till he reached the lake and screamed “ANNANYA “ what he dint realise is that she was right behind him and punched him when he saw her “I’m not deaf I can hear you” she said when he winced in pain from her punch

“Why dint you tell me , you knew that your my sister and tell me” Abhay yelled at her .

Annanya looked at him with a serious expression and after a while said “Do you think you could have handled it after knowing about your life ,your girlfriend and also your parents. Tell me could you?”

“fine ,your right I couldn’t have”

“Abhay everything I o I do for a purpose. I knew you couldn’t take it and also thought that bit would be better if you found out by yourself”

“so what exactly why were we separated”

“The day dad found out we weren’t his kids, yes we are his betas kids . but the day found out he would kill us . so mom knew he would kill you so she hid you in the human world actually our dad did  and mom made victor believe that  I was a normal werewolf .”

“Where are our parents “

“Cant tell you but can show you “

Annanya held out her hand her palm facing him and indicated him to do the same, the moment their palms touched the flash back flowed into his head .

16 YEARS BACK

Annanya lay asleep in her bed her mother had told to lay low and who her father was when she was 5 and had lived in fear of the alpha whom her mother was married to .She knew he was abusive and cruel and she knew if he ever found out  that she was not his child then what he would do to her and her mother .

“Annanya wake up honey its an emergency” her mom screamed violently shaking her .

“Mom what’s wrong”

“He found about  you have to go away now “

“What about you and dad “

“Honey he killed your dad and he will kill you soon enough”

“Mom you are going to come with me right?”

“You will be fine by yourself and plus your brother needs you alive “

“Mom no I’m not leaving you “

“Don’t worry my dear someone has to hold them off. I will. Just promise me you will help the merlin save the people . Promise me .”

“I will mom “

Sabrina ( their mother ) led her through the place till a small tunnel and she pushed it open and dragged Annanya along until they reached the outside training ground . Behind this was the forest .They herd footsteps coming towards them and some one shouting “Get the kid” . It was him he had found out Annanya started trembling .

Her mother grabbed her and said “Run and don’t let them catch you there are other packs who will help you to find the merlin and also fight him. Now go and be brave my girl”

Annaya transformed and started to run she hid behind a tree and watched the tyrant came storming out  .His mask covering his face.Her mother hit him with a log .She was a human and could not hold on for long against a werewolf . The tyrant just threw her and she  went flying and banged against a tree. He held her by her neck and yelled “you bloody bitch ,how dare you have kids with another man”

Her mother gave a quick glance and yelled back “I have 2 wonderful kids and I’m happy that it was not with a bastard like you”

The next thing she saw was the knife dipped in wolfbane go right through her and her lifeless body fell to the ground .”NOOOOOO” Annanya screamed the wolves herd her “After her” he screamed . Annanya started to run through the woods dodging the trees and trying to take the smallest possible way available to shake of the wolves. When she finally lost them while running she looked back to see if she had shaken them off after confirming that when she looked front she banged into a tree.

PRESENT TIME   

Abhay suddenly staggered and took a few steps back “So he killed them both dint even think and he was ready to kill you too . Who is he ?”

“Victor” said Annaya ,her eyes were watering he had never seen her crying .He hugged her in order to comfort and she slopped to the floor dragging him along . He patted her head and calmed her down . “What happened then” he asked “I fell unconscious after I hit a tree . Abhi’s father found me and brought me here Disha nursed me back to health and I told them about what had happened and this pack decided to help they were tired of his tyranny. The alpha started gathering forces and making an army so that when time comes you will have an army to fight for you.” Annanya started weeping again “I wish I could have saved her. I shouldn’t have left her there she sacrificed herself for me”. Abhay comforted her by saying “Then let us not let her death go in vain”

When Abhay looked around he saw Abhimanyu watching them . He always seemed to be around wherever Annaya was .Abhay felt like he knew what was going on .He asked Annaya “So whats going on between you and Abhimanyu”

“Nothing” “Why did you ask ?”

“Just thought you guys were dating you know you guys look pretty close to each other”

“Abhi and I have been friends since I first came here .There is nothing going on between us”

“And what about that girl . Uh….Serena right .yeah . Why does she hate you .”

“Oh she was the packs former Beta’s daughter so she practically presumed she would be Beta . But Abhi found more loyalty in me so he picked me . Serena was very disappointed and that’s when Victor said that if she came over to his side he would make her the Beta . So she hates me and is on Victors side .Waiting for a chance to kill me”

“Man you have a hell lot of enemies” Abhay again noticed the alpha standing there he told Annaya that he will meet with her later and then ran over to Abhimanyu.

When he saw him Abhimanyu suddenly turned and behaved like he was just standing there

“hey , what’s up Abhay “

“All good. Why were you spying on us “

“What .pfttt I was not spying on you guys .you thinki was bothered about the fact that she is your omega and things about why she dint tell you “

“yeah you woudnt , if you weren’t listening then how do you know what we were talking about”

“ok fine I was listening” Abhimanyu snapped back

“ Also I see that where ever she is your always behind her you keep following her around everywhere. What are you guys dating or something”

“What ,no . why did she say something to you about that ?”

“No you guys just look like you are dating “

“really ,well actually she is really not into this and theres nothing more than friends between us”

“But you have different feelings towards her”

“whaaaat.nooo. OK fine yes I do have feelings for her . But she just doesn’t get it . I mean I’ve been so obvious towards her”

“ Dude , why dint you just tell her “

“I cant  ,I mean everytime I try to tell her I just freeze after I look at her eyes . Also I know you like my sister and cant tell her “

“I’m scared she’ll pounce on me . I mean come on shes my first and only girlfriend .”

“Well if its any concession she as feelings for you”

“she does . wait how do you know that ?”

“Bud, she’s my sister I can easily figure out that she likes you by the way she looks at you. And listen if you guys get together then you take good care of her”

“well im hungry. You?”

“Starving . well you know theres entertainment around the campfire today”

“Really ,cool lets go then”

“oh , come on I can handel it “

“with that they jumped down and made their way back to dine at the campfire .

Back at victors castle Serena was screaming her lungs out “Why dint you let me take an army and kill him victor .Why ?”

“I understand your frustration Serena but I couldn’t risk losing more members of the pack I need the army for the fight and besides he doesn’t stand a chance”

“He is growing stronger and has been training”

“Not to worry our mole is in its place it will dig a borrow and give us their secrets”

Victor turned and smiled in triumph .He was a man about 60 but had a build of a much younger man .He had a strong upper body and long legs he towered over serena and had a fair complexion and white hair indicating is age .

“I have no idea how you managed to plant the mole”Serena asked admiringly

“ Everyone has a weakness and his was Annanya”“He has been watching the Merlin for quite a while”

“We should have killed him long back”

“Oh no I want to enjoy the moment when I kill my illegitimate children “

“Whoa remember the deal ,I get the girl, I want to rip her apart when I see her .”

“Fine take my daughter I’ll take care of the boy”

“That bitch  should have killed when she was pregnant”

“Don’t worry about that whore  and why do you care, she gave birth to two useless kids one is feable and the other is weak.”

“but don’t underestimate them .I made that mistake once and both of them got away”

“I’m not scared and anyway the willdor is with you and you made an axe of the same material you can slice him open with it”

“Your right after all a merlin is powerless without his weapon”

“And once we are done can I have the alpha to myself”

“sure I couldn’t care less about him”

Victor looked at the image of Abhay and Annanya and said in a low menancing voice “Hey kids, daddys coming and bringing you a present”

Abhay understood why Abhimanyu  had said that he wouldn’t like it  was mainly because Naina was the one who was dancing. When he asked Abhimanyu why he let her do that he said it was her talent and he wouldn’t stop her from doing what she was good at and he dint mind it.

After a while Abhay couldn’t take it so he got up and left.He stood by the lake wondering how was he going to get the willdor from victors place .”what you thinking about grump face” Abhay jumped when he heard Naina’s voice . “Don’t you have a show to perform”Abhay retorted back at her .

“Oh so that’s why your mad. I told you I’m a dancer”

“Dint tell me what kind of”

“Ok my bad , sorry ,so what are you thinking?”

“How to get the willdor”

“U mean the sword wel the only way is to sneak in . I’ve heard that he keeps it in the cellar .and only you can touch it .It has a protective magic circle around it .”

“so how do I get it ?”

“Well if you get past the moat and the guards and his 3 headed dog then you have to use your powers to get them”

“What exactly does the circle do”

“It electrocutes anyone who touches the willdor and also its suspended in mid air so I have no idea”

“Well that’s what I’m thinking about “

“I know a better place . Try to keep up”

With that she ran ushering Abhay to follow her  “Hey slow down “Abhay said as he tried to keep up with her .She was damn fast and he was struggling to catch up .She went through a bunch of bushes and finally stopped near a huge leaf .when he reached her she pushed the leaf to reveal a beautiful place with a waterfall where water poured from one bowl to another . though it was night the moon shined lighting up the whole place radiantly the water seemed to sparkle .

“does it help “Naina asked

“It may but not yet .but its beautiful Naina”

“ This is where I come when I miss my mom she used to bring me here and tell me that if I ever missed I could come here and feel her presence”

“well it may help me . thank you “

“if it dosent maybe this will” she walked towards him and stood up on her toes and kissed him .Abhay’s hands subconsciously moved to the back of her head and he deepened the kiss when he ended it something came to his mind . “Yes that’s it. Naina you’re the best I think I know how to get it” he kissed her one last time and they went back to the lake . “Thank you” he told her she smiled and replied “anytime ,oh and I guess I do have feelings for you”. When Abhay heard it he stopped and turned and said “I never lost my feelings for you”. Naina smiled maybe she did have a chance in love  after all she knew he was her mate from the start.

Abhay finally for the first time had an idea in mind he knew it was crazy but he felt that, it was something he could do and should do but this night was not the time to do it. His plan was to be executed in broad daylight .

The next day Abhay was sneaking out when Naina caught him. “Man , how do you find out where I am” he asked she always knew where he was . “Its easy I can sniff you from quite a while “shee said then she wore a confused look on her face and asked “Are you going somewhere”

“Yep , somewhere I may never return from”with that he dint even wait for Naina to reply and ran . Naina when she was confused always asked Annanya and this time she sure was so she went to the Beta and told her . Annanyas eyes widened when she heard what Naina said she asked  “Are you sure he said that” Naina nodded and Annanya dragged Abhimanyu .when she was asked why she started “I’m pretty sure that he has gone to get the willdor and he will die if we don’t get there on time” .

“But how does he know the way”

“I think he uploaded it on the watch and well I’m aloso thinking that it was because of the net “

“Oh damn “

The two wolves ran using their super speed .

Abhay had reached the palace and looked around he threw the rope he had brought over the wall and started climbing it within a few minutes he was on the other side of the wall . ‘Whew all that training was finally paying off’ he thought while hiding behind the bushes. He saw a guard pass by he pulled him into the bushes knocked him out and put on his clothes. He looked totally unrecognisable. He made his way through the castle and as it was normal for guards to patrol the halls no one questioned him . He had got an old blue print of the castle after quite a lot of searching on the net . He was lucky that the castle was an old one and it was an old ruin before he took it over and hence he had managed to find the blueprint from the net . Also the way to the place he had remembered from the memory Annanya had showed him .

He quickly scanned the blueprint when no was looking and then finally had an idea where the willdor was kept . He was right. It was in an isolated room on the top .The door was not locked and hence it was easy for him to sneak in . Victor was clever and definitely had installed cameras in the palace but with the powers he had harnessed he Abhay had managed to create a light frosting on the lens blurring the display. When he entered the room he observed it the ceiling was quite high it wasn’t very big but had a circular structure .  Abhay was stunned at the look of the willdor .It really was magnificent. But he saw there were 2 electric fences one was the willdor the other was a sort of axe. Pretty huge one and also quite looked like it was made of the same material the willdor was made of .

Abhay took out a bow and an arrow . he had hoped the fence did not go all the way to the top and he was wrong it did . But he had a backup ready once the arrow hit the electric fence it was slightly sizzled but it managed to push the willdor away from the place it was suspended and it fell outside .

Abhay thought Victor was pretty stupid not  to install a sensor in the fence . But as soon as he picked up the willdor alarms went off . A bunch of guards rushed in with Serena leading them “I knew you were weak dint know that you were stupid. So stupid that you make the mistake of coming here.” said Serena. Abhay knew he couldn’t go the way he had come so he moved back near the window and as they figured out what he was planning he jumped out the window. Landed on a balcony then jumped again and landed on the ground. There was no time for him to rejoice he had forgotten that were wolves had super speed and Serena had  jumped too behind him . She pulled out her sword and came towards him ready to strike. Abhay froze until he felt someone screaming . he looked back and saw two wolves fighting against a lot of guards coming straight towards him he recognised one of the wolves and was a little relived . The two wolves changed to their human form . Serena’s eyes was fixed on the alpha . Her gaze seemed to be full of tenderness and turned fierce once she saw Annanya . “stupid the whole lot of you “ she screamed . Annanya an Abhimanyu pulled out their swords too .Abhimanyu yelled at her saying

“And she wonders why I dint chose her “

Serena looked like she was the verge of crying “I was ready to give my life to you. You were my entire life . I never wanted to be your Beta I wanted to be your mate “

“That’s going to happen over my corpse “

Annanya ,Abhimanyu and Abhay stood their backs together as the guards had surrounded them. Abhay  asked “how did you know where I was “

“oh “ Annanya replied in the most sarcastic way “ I just thought that what was the most stupidest thing you could do and well here we are”

“Ok any ideas how to get out of here”

Abhimanyu replied “well we can surrender or run”

Annanya :”well I like the second idea”

Abhay “Me too”

The minute they put their swords back in and Abhay was on Annanyas back and they were running towards the wall making a path for themselves through the guards who had surrounded them. As they reached the wall they both jumped but an arrow hit Annanya on her right shoulder . But she managed to push Abhay over the wall before she fell . Abhimanyu saw that only Abhay had made it. He told Abhay that “Run. Get back to camp. We’ll catch up”

Abhimanyu jumped across again and in the nick of time before two wolves pounced on her. He looked up and saw Abhay on the wall and he tossed Annanya up wards and Abhay caught her and remove the arrow. Abhimanyu  transformed and  jumped over the wall and quickly put Abhay on his back and started running with Annanya following “Why dint you run “ asked Abhimanyu . “You guys dint ditch me when I was in trouble what made you think I would Alpha .”

The alpha smiled and said “Please call me Abhi”

Serena ran to Victor and before she could say anything a paperweight hit her on her head . “HOW CAN YOU LET THIS HAPPEN” he roared

“I’m sorry he has become stronger and he had help”

“Should have killed all of them . “

“You have another weapon”

“ but now he has one. His chances of winning are rising” “bring the prisoner looks like my kids need a little persuation”

Once they reached camp Naina hugged Abhay and looked at the sword . “you got it “

Everyone rejoiced except Abhimanyu who yelled “we need medic” .Annanya motioned there was no need for that “it was just a normal arrow not a silver or dipped in wolfbane” “I’m fine my  wound has healed “ she looked at Abhay and said “I’ll be fine”

That night there was rejoicing in the camp Abhimanyu pulled Annanya away and asked “what were you thinking . You could have died out there”

“Whoa calm down I dint .And why are you so worried”

“What do you mean I could have lost you out there and I cant go on without you”

“ cool down I’m fine” “wow I have never seen you so worried , are you ok “

“Its just that I was scared when you dint make it over the wall I thought I lost you”

“ Since when did you start caring so much, you know I can die. And seriously what is going on with you”

“well you could have died and if I didn’t save you then I would be stuck with your annoying voice in my head for all of eternity”

“Ok , I think I get it . I finally understood why you came back” she suddenly bbursted out “ YOU LIKE ME”

“no I don’t like you my feeling towards you are the exact opposite of like you cause.. you …you r to tall ,to skinny and your hair too straight and you really know me to well . I hate people who know me well “

“Ok , you don’t like me , …you really like me . Man I should have guessed it long back . you like me , you like me ……”

Suddenly they heard someone yelling their name  and Annanya finally stopped chanting they saw Sameera she was huffing “James just returned he is injured and Demitrey was captured and Victor wants to have a talk “

“we are on our way “

They ran behind Sameera she led them to the campfire and they saw the hologram of Victor and Serena. Victors face was hidden as usual by a mask that he always wore

His face was not even seen by his own pack .

“It just now came up”said Abhay when he saw them .

“what do you want victor “ Annanya yelled

Victor : “Well looks like my children have learned to talk back to their father”

Abhay : “Your not our father and you killed our father”

Victor : “Just like your mother brave but compassionate”

Annanya : “ Why did you want to talk you know we have the willdor and you cant stand against us . so unless you want to surrender there is nothing to discuss”

Victor : “oh , there is . I’m sure you recognise her.”

When victor showed the woman Annanya and Abhay yelled “MOM”

Sabrina looked weak and was completely unrecognisable she coudnt even stand without support .

Victor :”bring me the willdor and the Merlin and ill let your mother go”

Sabrina :” No , don’t do it. He will kill me anyway “

Victor : “I’ll keep my word . but if you don’t you can watch your mother die and remember its you fault “

Sabrina : “Abhay Annaya you guys have grown . but listen to me don’t give him anything don’t bow down to him “

Annanya : “But I saw him kill you “

Victor : “ Well looks like your mothers tough for a human”

Sabrina : “ Annanya do you remember the song I used to sing to you every night.”

Annanya : “Yes . I do “

Sabrina : “ sing with me “

Two beautiful voices rang out in the night

Annanya s eyes was filled with tears . Sabrina said “ I’m always around . Keep each other safe . Goodbye my brave warriors”

With that last line with the strength she had left pulled out a gun and shot herself in her head , time stopped when her body feel to the ground all of them shouted “NO”

Annanya feel on her knees and Abhay pulled her close and she held back her tears .

Victor: “Looks like I have to kill you in the battle.” “the old fashioned way”

Abhay: “You will really regret that I swear if I don’t push the sword into your heart and rip you apart ill change my name”

Victor : “Well , starting thinking of a new name”

The hologram went off.

Abhay looked at Annanya she was fighting to hold back her tears . well he coudnt blame her she had seen her mother been killed in front of her eyes twice .But he coudnt hold back for long tears just flowed down his cheek .

Annanya knew that if she cried then their pack would lose faith no one had ever seen her cry. She looked at Abhay and said in a stern tone “Don’t let moms death go in vain . Its going to be kill or get killed “

Abhay wiped away his tears and nodded he agreed with her. Annanya walked away signalling that she wanted to be left alone . Abhay knew where she was going and asked Abhimanyu to follow her. Naina wanted to come along but Abhay stopped her and said that he knew that Annanya dint want to see many people . and at this time she needed her friend and he was not the choice cause he was not strong himself .

Abhimanyu saw her standing beside the lake staring into the water . He realised that she had been and was crying . when he went and stood beside her she wiped her tears and said

Annanya :“I want to be left alone “

Abhimanyu: “no one wants to be left alone”    

 Annaya: “ I do “

Abhimanyu : “ok , you know when I was 5 years old I and my older brother went into the forest  alone. Aman told me that we were old enough to go on alone. But in the middle we were ambushed .we ran but me being younger was caught by my foot .Aman came back and pushed the wolves aside and asked me to run and I obeyed and saw from a bush hiding the wolves strangled Aman to death and I couldn’t do anything I just hid and watched as they killed him and by the time the pack realised we were gone and came for us Aman was already gone . Till today I blame myself for it if I had enough courage to stand up for him and fight . Maybe he would still be here”

Annanya: “I’m so sorry . why did you never tell me this before ?”

Abhimanyu: “never could bring myself to tell anyone “

Annanya : “then why tell me now “

Abhimanyu : “ cause I want you to understand that sometimes we just cant save everyone . Sometimes we cant do anything to save them inspite of all the power we have”

Annanya: “its just that my entire life I lived thinking that my mom had died and lived for quite sometime . But I was so relieved to see her alive and then I saw her die again . I know I have to be strong for the pack and the merlin and especially for nick .but …but sometimes I just miss her so much” Annanya broke down unable to control her tears .

Abhay knelt down and put his arms around her and said that “Looks like I put a lot of burden on you”by making you the Beta”

“you have been pretty brave by staying strong I was not” Abhay came towards them .Abhimanyu smiled and left them alone . Abhay sat down next to her and asked

Abhay: “Can I ask you something though its not appropriate at the time”

Annanya : “ Sure”

Abhay: “What was mom like”

Annanya : “ she was pretty and kind and caring . she told me the legends of great warriors and battles . and she had a voice more beautiful than a nightingale . I still remember her voice singing that song”

Abhay : “ Does it have a significance “

Annanya : “im not sure but mom always said that ‘the merlin or the omegas voice ,will give the other life,sing the song of the blackbird and everything will be fine” but I don’t know what it means “

Abhay:  “ Hey I’ll make sure she dint die in vain I’ll avenge her .I promise “

Annanya : “ I believe in you and know that you will be victorious “

Abhay: “ Do you think Demitrey will be ok “

Annanya : “ I just think that he is dead or dying I just wish he isn’t suffering . He was our best spy” 

He put his arm around her and she put her head on his shoulder and in the night the siblings knew that the day was near when they will have to fight side by side for the survival of their entire species. Little did they know what surprise lay in wait for them .

In Victors palace a man ran towards him and said in a low voice “ The merlin is all yours but you promised that you wont kill ….”

Victor: “I won’t kill whom I’m not supposed to kill I told you a deal is a deal . She will be yours”

The man bowed to him and Victor smiled sinisterly . And his plan was revised in his mind he was going to enjoy killing his son.

After the man left Victor turned into a wolf and ran into the forest and mounted on a very tall rock which looked like a small hill  . ‘time has come for me to take control of all the clans in the world’ he thought to himself and then howled challenging them for battle and waited he heard a howl back accepting the challenge . Back at the camp Abhimanyu was in his wolf form and had howled back in response. “Get ready for battle” he said through the mind control to all the wolves .It was time to fight and everyone was ready.

Annanya sat the lake with her brother her head down ,she had lost her mother twice , her best warrior Demitrey was dying she, but she just coudn’t cry she knew that the pack coudnt see her cry . Abhay knew what she was going through he had seen what their mother was like ,how much she had sacrificed and also the fact that she wanted her children to live and fight for all. Everyone was counting on him and he dint know if he was ready for it ,but he did know that he had to fight if not for himself but for the pack .

Abhay: “ I’m guessing that Demitrey was a great warrior “

Annanya : “He was one of the best ,he stood by me in every battle .He even almost got killed for me also risked life for the pack ,.”  “And now I coudn’t even be there for him .He is dead because in wasn’t there for him its completely my fault”

Abhay: “How is it your fault , you dint know victor was also watching “

Annanya : “ Yes , but I should have analysed it im such an idiot” Annanya cursed herself .

Abhay : “ Well then make sure you avenge your friend”

Annanya : “ sure will”

Both of them smiled at each other and then continued to stare at the water when finally Abhay suddenly broke the silence by asking “ hey whats with you and Abhi anything going on “

Annanya : “Ive told you before ill tell you now there is nothing going on between us . and plus he is an idiot he never even realises that I’m his mate and even if he does ……”

Annanya stopped realising that Abhimanyu was standing right behind them . Abhay stood up smilling and said “I’ll leave you 2 to decide what you mean to each other”

On the way he went close to abimnyus ear and whispered       “Don’t blow this”

Abhimanyu and Annanya stood facing each other petrified

Abhimanyu : “ Soooo …You ..you knew that we are mates”

Annanya shrugged and said “Duh … our bond is not so complicated like humans I mean you know when you feel a shiver down your spine “

Abhimanyu : “ Then why dint you say anything “

Annanya : “Cause its crazy and seriously I mean even im not dare enough to propose to the Alpha . And if knew to then why dint you tell me “

Abhimanyu : “ Whoa, just because I’m the alpha dosent mean that I’m brave enough to tell the girl I like that I like her”

Annanya : “ well I know you like me . but I guess we just figured out that  pretty late”

Abhimanyu : “ Well better late than never “

After a pause they burst out laughing .They both realised that unknowingly their friendship had turned into love but still their bond was still the same .

Annanya looked up and said

Annanya : “ Abhi what if I die in the war “

Abhimanyu : “Why you asking ? “

Annanaya : “ So that if I do I want you to move on and find another mate cause the next generation will need an Alpha or a Luna.

Abhimanyu : “ Annanya im not going to let you die . And if you do I cant possibly move on . I will always need you”

Annanya : “ I’ll always be there duffer . right in your heart” she kissed his cheek and said “Always with you”

Abhimanyu pulled her close and hugged her he somewhat felt a little uneasy at the thought of losing her

Abhimanyu :” Fine . I promise .but if I die then promise that youll stand up as the next Luna and rule in my place and you too will find another mate”

Annanya : “ OK , if that is what you desire then ok”

Abhi kissed her forehead and hugged her and she hugged him back “ I’ll always be your Luna . I promise “ she said .

Abhay and was wide awake he looked down at Naina who was sleeping with her head on his chest . she had never done this . She was ok with it now cause she had realised that he was her mate . he was happy now that he had found his soul mate but more happy that his sister had finally spoken out her feelings . Yep he was watching them and heard everything .

Happy as he was he also was disturbed of what Annanya and Abhimanyu had said. He knew that there was no denying the fact that some would die but he felt uneasy that there was possibility of his own dying .

Well he wasn’t the only one each and every one had the same feeling tomorrow either they would emerge victorious or they would die trying .

Morning the horn blew and awoke almost everyone in the camp . Abhy woke up and saw Naina blinked and opened her eyes . “Morning “ she said Abhay answered back “morning . but looks like I’m going to be late”

Naina said “Time to go my hero”

The entire camp was bustling Swords clanking .Suits being put on .the swords used to be in collaboration of the suits so they pretty much were retractable and hence merged with the suit when they turned into wolves . Abhay was standing in front of the mirror with the suit he had been given everyone else suit was blue (males ) and white (females) but his was black with a red long coat . the willdor on his waist .he was chanting “I can do this”

“You will do it and you can “ Abhay turned around an saw Annanya standing at the entrance .She was dressed in the white suit with 2 long swords on her back forming an X . her hair was in a braided pony . She gave of the aura of a true warrior . “we are waiting for you “

Abhay: “You sure I can do this”

Annanya : “ If you want to back out you still can now”

Abhay : “ I cant and don’t want to back out .everyone is counting on me I’m kind of a hero but w2hat if I fail .what if I’m nothing more than a loser”

Annanya : “ You are mny things but not a loser . Also I’ve told you before without fear there can be no courage .you have to belive in yourself for this and together we can concour any thing” with that she transformed into a wolf and Abhay climbed on her .

She came outside the tent climbed the rock in the gathering of the camp and put Abhay down .Abhay stood on the flat surface of the rock and spoke to all the wolves with all the courage he had in him

“ Red moon pack,I am proud to say that I have the honour of fighting with the most bravest and loyal wolves that I have ever meet . but I ask you today to not put your faith in me but to put your faith in each other, believe in yourself .Dont ever think that you are weak if you are afraid .for one very annoying person told me ,without fear there can be no courage .” Annanya rolled her eyes “today we fight not for territory or for treasure but we fight for survival ,we fight to show that we will never surrender, we fight for our species ,we fight for Freedom” “ so are you with me”

The air echoed with the howl of all the wolves in the clan and from behind the alpha and beta also howled Annanya walked towards him and he mounted her. He said to mind communication to annanya “together” she replied back “forever”.and let out a long howl .

Same time in Victors palace victor spoke to his soldiers “ my warriors today we face the wealkings of the red moon pack .when they see our might they will run .But we will not let them run .Show them no mercy and once they are done the entire world will bow down to us .” the menancing howl of his wolves was deafning  . Serena stood behind victor listening to the howl s with a evil smile on her face “now that’s music to my ears she said”

She was dressed in a flaming red suit like all the other females in the pack she had left her hair open and looked terrifyingly beautiful  . Her sword and shield on her back .she looked at victor dressed in black standing out from the males bronze suits . His axe in one hand and a spear in the other . his face covered by the helmet he wore that hid his face as usual. But anyone could figure out that he wore a sinster smile on his face finally the day he could destroy the last living Merlin. “hey kids time to meet your daddy”he thought to himself .

The 2 packs faced each other Victors pack was ten times the red moons pack . the place that they were to fight was a dense forest.  Abhimanyu and Annanya with Abhay stood in the front and Serena came in front of her pack .

Annanya : “Wheres victor ?”

Serena : “Waiting to kill the Your brother”

Annanya : “ So he is hiding “

Serena : “ No but he knows that if he comes in with the pack you guys plan on killing him in the chaos that will happen . so mainly your idea or lame battle strategy is to not go one on one with victor but rather to make sure that he is exhausted so that he will be weak enough and he  gets an easy kill”

Serena finished and took a deep breath and again gave a haughty smile “Feels so good to know the plan of the enemy”

The entire moon pack was baffled that was their initial plan which they had discussed

Abhimanyu: “how on earth do  you guys know that ?”

Serena : “ do you remember your warrior ,he told me everything “

A tall man came in front and bowed an said “Hello Alpha”

Annanya ,Abhimanyu and the entire pack was baffeled

“DEMITREY”

Annanya : “How could you do this, you betrayed your pack”

Serena : “aww , the trick is that you give a guy what he wants and he plays  right into your hands ,aaand we promised him YOU!”

Serenas fingernails were pointing at Annanya .

She continued “now you can run all around and find out where victor is”

Abhay : “ In your dreams Demitrey, do you actually think that she will be yours ,and also what made you believe that they will not kill her and plus you of all should know that she will die  but  never surrender. What an idiot”

Abhimanyu : “You have shamed us and you have stained your name in any pack you will be known as a traiter”

Demitrey : “Did you ever think wheter anyone else had feelings for her before you claimed her yours . I never even had a fair chance with her and plus victor promised her to me and he always keeps his promise “

Annanya:  “He never does”

Abhimanyu : “ Well played but you missed one small detail  that was our initial plan .But we had a backup plan . We realised that books are really useful and one of the ancient books said that…..”

Abhay : “…A Merlin can detect another Merlin No matter how far away he was and we devised this plan a week before with only 3 of us and I have been practising and seriously I’m pretty good at it and I know where he is”.Abhay finished  looking at his watching which showed the current location of victor .

Serena : “ Well looks like I missed that ,but the war is still not yet started .it will now”

Serena and the pack transformed into wolves . the other side red moon pack also transformed  into wolves. Abhay climbed on annayas back

Abhimanyu and Annanya in wolf form touched their heads and Abhi said one thing “Take care of our Merlin” she snorted in response and looked up at the merlin asking for directions “ That way he said pointing towards a hill which was much thicker than the forest  . Annanya howled and ran towards the hill with Vijay and Lily following her. The packs  collided with each other .Serena ,Demitrey and 4 other wolves followed Annanya. The battle of survival and victory was ferocious .For any spectator it would have been like the gods and Satan’s warriors fighting .

Abhimanyus clan it was like one fighting against four most of them injured but still continuing fighting .Abhimanyu himself was against many the battle was many transforming into wolves transforming back into humans killing wolves and some wolves tearing apart the humans . In the middle of this Annanya was running with all her might and Abhay was holding on he just glanced back and saw Serena and her friends gaining on then “They are approaching fast “

 Abhay warned her “ Don’t worry” she said “I am here to protect you “

A wolf reached her and bit her with Abhay holding on she and the wolf fought and within minutes the wolf lay dead with bite marks on its neck . Annanya continued she odered her friends “Hold them of “

The two wolves following her stopped and pounced on the remaining wolves Serena made sure the other wolves pre occupied Annanya s wolves and came after her ‘your not getting away this time” she thought to herself

Annanya had almost reached the top of the hill Abhay glanced and it showed that victor was nearby .Annanya looked and saw that serenan was gaining on them . she stoped abruptly throwing Abhay off her back . Abhay looked at her

Annanya : “Go on ill hold her off “

Abhay : “But….”

Annanya : “ Go your wasting time”

Abhay ran towards where the tracker showed him Annanya took her stance ad pounce on Serena . The wolves fought violently biting each other ,scratching each other . Until Serena threw Annanya away . Annanya was back on her feet in no time ,the two wolves circled . 

Serena : “ Poor Annanya , scared as usual “

Annanya : “ asking me or convincing yourself “

Serena : “ You were never fit to be the beta never fit for anything “

Annanya : “Yet here we are with me as Beta and also Im Abbhimanyus mate “

Serena : “ Ive waited for a long time to kill you  and  you now you also just gave me a reason”

Annanya : “ Ive waited too and im not the feable pup you once knew “

The woves growled and ran at each other going back to biting and trying to get at the others throat .

Abhay reached at the top of the hill . He pulled out his sword and looked arout “Come out victor I know you’re here”

A gruff voice greated him “Well done Abhay made everyone belive that there was a connection through which you could find me and smart job planting a tracker on my weapon”

Abhay looked around to see where the voice was coming from He saw a wolf emerging from the trees . the wolf transformed into a man . His helmet hiding his face and he pulled out the axe spinning it . He looked at Abhay and sneered

Victor : “ You ready “

Abhay: “ You killed y parents , killed our people , you even tried to kill my sister . ive being dying to kill you” he shouted

Victor : “ Well loud voice lots of guts but I know you still have a lot to learn . allow me to teach you”

The man turned into a wolf and came at Abhay . the wolf knocked abahys sword off his hand and pounced on him knocking him down and stood on him it tried to get to his throat Abhay caught the snout of the wolf and pushed it so that it dosent reach his throat and then with all his strength threw the wolf it hit against the tree and stood back up. Came back to the human form .Victor was fuming Abhay by then had picked up the sword and pointed it towards victor . Victor and abhay charged at each other and the two weapons clashed.

Annanya and serens were fighting with their swords soon but in this case Serena was naturally better than Annanya. Serena soon gave Amnanya a deep cut on her hand an kicked her Annanya fell to the ground . Serena sat on her and pushed the sword right into Annanyas hand . “well tell me Annanya …….”. was all she got to say when she heard a wolf growling at her . Annanya s eyes opened wide “no , Demitrey”

Demitrey pounced on serena . but Serena was quicker she pulled out a dagger and slit the wolfs throat . and then pushed it away .

Serena : “Once a betrayer always a betrayer” she turned her attention back to Annanya who was wincing in pain “ So tell me Annanya what would you do if you had your victim in such a pathetic condition”

Serena lifted her knife to kill Annanya . then was soon a slicing noice .Serena looked down and saw a sword had cut right through her heart. She fell back Annanya got up and puched her of her and she looked at Serena and said “ Id say kill your victim without wasting time talking”

She bent down at serenas corpse and said “ You truly a great warrior too bad you joined the wrong side”

Annanya suddenly heard Demitrey groan. She ran towards himand sat on her knees and put preasure on his wound and said

Annanya : “ Hold on help will come “

Demitrey : “I wont make it Beta , I just want you to know that I loved you ,. iWish I hadent taken this measure . hope you can forgive me “

Annanya : “ You were not right the time you joined them but in your last minutes you tried to save me . I have aldready forgiven you .”

Demitrey : “ help our Merlin he will need you . and thank you “ Demitrey breath his last .

 Annanya closed his eyes and said “ may your soul find peace”

She heard a sudden loud scream from the top of the mountain “Abhay “ she ran ran towards the sound jumped transformed and continued running .

Abhay was pinned down trying to keep the Axe away from his throat he was fighting victor with all his might but the axe was still only a few inches away from him

Victor : “ I swore to kill you and I will “

“no “ Annanya pounced and threw victor off Abahay and yelled at Abhay “get the sword”

Annanya rushed at Victor to stall him long enough to make sure that Abhay gets the sword . She stopped victor from chasing Abhay . She bit his leg and pulled him back .But Victor unfortunately was slightly stronger and once Annanya pulled him back he pulled out a knife and pushed it right into her . Annanya let out a gasp an Abhay felt like time froze he shouted . Victor threw away Annanya she fell and retuned to her human form gasping for breath .

At that moment Abhay felt all the anger inside him surge up he just coundnt bear anyone to hurt his sister .Victor threw the axe at Abhay . It gave him a scratch and to his surprise it healed like a normal wound .

Victor : “ impossible “

Abhay looked at Annanya . She was smiling . She struggled and spoke

Annanya : “ you fool , it was never a tool that was called a willdor . It was just kept by our elders to fool anyone who tries to take power and disobeys the Merlin .”

Victor : “ What the fuck re you talking about “

Annanya : “ Abhays real nome is will dor the Merlin is always named willdor the weapon that can destroy you “

Abhay saw his sister struggle his anger reached its peak . he ran towards VICTOR AND PUNCHED HIM SO HARD THAT HIS HELMET FELL OFF. That was the first time Abhay saw victors face .

Victors face was scared from his right eye to his jaw horizontly . he dint have an eye and had wrinkled skin . He was old .

Victor turned into a wolf and growled at Abhay . Abhay recollected the death of all his loved ones and when he opened his eyes he jumped and transformed into a wolf a brown snaring wolf the one thing he coudnt do came to him through his anger the emotion that he had to bring out .

Looking at this Victor dint take a chance . he charged at Abhay . Abhay stood his ground looking and analysing the move Victor will make the thing that Annanya had taught him look at his foot then his stance you will known what to do .

Victor aimed at his back Abhay moved in the nick of time and bit back Victor .The two wolves then went to the battle of a lifetime . then the elements came into power . there were fire balls, water defence ….

This was not only with Abhay and Victor but also with the other wolves . Abhimanyu was weak and was fighting on for one thing the promise he had made to himself .

There was also a few wolves that were sent to then camp to kill all those that resisted. But they had really underestimated the forse that the children could fight with the pups had sent the wolfs packing and some even begging for mercy .

Abhay knew that the pack wont give up on him and he had a reason to fight . Victor called on the wolves that were still alive to kill Abhay .

Hearing the wolfs Annanya mustering the strenghth she had left stood up and transformed . She holwed signalling her friends to help her for this the wolfs stood fending of the other wolves. Abhay gave his last move he slid under when victor jumped. Jumped on victor and bit his collarbone.

That put victor down and Abhay stood over him and looked into his eyes and said “Everyone is afraid of death” and that was the last thing Victor heard before Abhay sunk his teeth into his throat and Victor breath his last .

Soon after Victors death the wolves that had been jinxed came out of their trance .All stopped fighting . Abhay stood and howled and all the woves howled back in response .

Soon enduring for so long Annanya collapsed in human form . She was bleeding profusely the knife had cut through and the fight had taken a toll on her . Abhay connected to Abhimanyu , Naina , Sameera , Lily, and Vijay . they all came running towards her .

Annanya looked up as Abhay gave her support through his body . She held his hand and looked up at him and said “Mom was right you were born for greatness . You are a true warrior . I’m proud of you .”

Abhay : “ hold on youll be ok “

Annanya : “Abhay I cant make it .i know I’m not strong enough . And by the way youll be fine by yourself “

She looked around saw all of them she looked at Abhimanyu and said “Remember to move on but ill always be there with you”

Abhimanyu was on the verge of tears like everyone else . Annanya spoke to naina “Take care of him for me Naina “

“it has been an honour to be on this mission with you guys by my side” she said almost in her last breath to her friends .

Annanya finally looked in the wilderness and said “Take care of each other and keep each other safe and guys no tears when I’m gone”

Abhay brust out crying “Stay with me .Dont leave me please “

AAnnanya replied “Sorry champ cant do that. Take care of Nick for me.”

And her hand grip went away Abhay looked and saw that she had gone  had stopped talking . Abhay put his hin on her head and cried the wolves bowed their heads as a respect to the Beta .

There was utter silence until some started singing a familiar song

Abhays voice was shaky the entire time that he sang the song and he bowed doen his his hugging his sister .suddenly he felt like she breathed . He opened his eyes and Annanya suddenly took a long breath and opened her eyes and she asked in a very weak voice “What did I miss?”

“Annanya “came a voice for all that were around her and there was a group of werewolves hugging her .Abhay helped her up and hugged hr so tight that she almost felt suffocated.

Abhay : “I thought I lost you”

Annanya : “ You ain’t getting rid of me that easy”

Abhay transformed into a wolf and howled in victory the wolves joined him and this was also done when the alphas were released n give their packs back  . The dead were honoured and also their families taken care off .

Annanya was crowned as Luna the mate of the Alpha and queen of the pack .

“Do I have to go “

Abhay asked . Annanya was driving him back to the human world .

Annanya : “ You did what we wanted you to do and so deal done im keeping my promise and its not like you cant see us Naina will connect you to us ,.Afterall she will be here”

Abhay : “ Yeah , but I wanted to come and be in the camp sometimes”

Annanya : “ Well ill see what I can do about that .Maybe I can change the rule . I’m still Beta by the way”

Abhay : “ Ill miss you though “

Annanya : “ Well if its any cheering up I made a photo for all of us you know the one we took after the war . just as a reminder  “

The car reached his house Annanya called and said “Come on its time to go “

A guy looking just like Abhay came out of the house he changed form as he came .Annanya introduced them “ Abhay meet Draco he was filling in for you and Drco the beta “

Draco bowed and sat in the car without a word . Abhay and Annanya hugged one last time and Abhay went in and hugged his parents who were surprised as to why he was doing this .

Abhay went up to his room and looked out the window he saw the car drive away .Abhay fell back in his bed and stared at the cealing it felt as though he was shut in an different place he had forgotten home . he was back but he felt that he had left a part of himself at back there .

As he slept he dreamed about something different, a place where he was the wolf and he felt free and a meadow where he was content and in the meadow   Annanya in the suit he saw her on the battle day

Abhay : “ Will I ever come back”

Annanya : “ of course you will “

Abhay : “When”

Annanya  : “Soon”

And his dream broke he woke up with his alarm went off . Time for college . He took off hoping to see the front benchers soon . He never realised that the students had been jinxed to think that they had left the college . After all there were there just to make sure that he was safe.

Naina’s call came as a relief to him she had called to tell him that Annanya had asked him to see if she and her friends had gotten through their tests just for fun and also tat Annanya had sent a video email to him .

Abhay opened his mail and checked it the video that was sent by an anonymous email

Annanyas picture came into the screen “ hey bud , sup , well I dint know what to send you in case I had to send you a mail so decied I was better at talking than writing . so if you get any dreams about me talking to you then get the fact that I really mean that . so bud keep safe and don’t exhaust yourself and I love u we all do. Take care bud “and she blew a kiss to the screen and Abhay smiled and blew it back.

Back at the camp Annanya sat at the rock lost in thought .Abhimanyu climbed up and sat beside her .After a while she asked him

“Do you miss naina “

Abhimanyu : “not a day goes by when I don’t”

Annanya : “Guess I get that feeling now

Abhimanyu : “ You know I have a way that he can come here for and when I mean him I mean all the were wolves in the human world and maybe a few humans “

Annanya : “ How ?”

Abhimanyu whispered something in her ears and Annanya s eyes lightened up as she looked at him and asked “Really “

And he replied “Why not after all you’re the queen”

Then they heard a distant howl Annanya transformed and howled back in response .At the same time Abhay heard the howl his sis had answered back she was safe that’s all he wanted to know .

Next day at college Abhay was as usual doing his job when a peaun told him that they were 2 girls waiting for him downstairs as Abhay went down he was shocked one was Naina and the other was …..

“ANNANYA “

Abhay screamed as she ran to him he picked her up as he hugged her and when he put her down she yelled “ I have great news I spoke with the council and they are ready to let me throw a party for all the werewolves and the humans and  best of it all is that you have permission to come to the red moon mansion anytime you want mansion anytime and vist the city .”Annanya said all that in one breath so she took a long breath.

Abhay was totally dumbstruck and asked one question “When is the party ?”

That night was the night where the humans and werewolves came together with the help of Abhimanyu’s cousins all the party planning and also the catering was managed .Abhy had brought a bunch of his friends and all the clans had come together. The humans were told it that the party was naturally Annanyas and Abhays birthday (which it actually was) .

As the party went on Abhay grabbed 2 drinks and went to the lake he was right Annanya was there staring at the water

Abhay : “ Hey though you could drink a little”

Annanya : “ Thanks “

Abhay : “ So what you thinking “

Annanya : “ I’m glad that we came up with this all our friends together and our birthday together .” she looked up and said “Wish mom an dad could be here “

Abhay : “They are like mom said always said always with us .”  Abhay changed his tone and said “ Well the party is just getting started come on its our party “

Annanya laughed and joined him in the party all humans and werewolves dancing together happily .

Abhay connected his mind and said to Annanya “together” she replied back “Forever”

They smiled at each other and continued to dance in the melody into the night .

As everyone were busy dancing no one noticed that a pair of yellow eyes were watching them . those eyes belonged to a wolf standing atop a far away rock staring at the party .

A man ran up to the wolf and bowed and said “Sire the magic worked ,the stories are true”

The wolf transformed into a man and he spoke to the other man “I always thought that my childrens powers may be too much for this world but now I just hope that it is enough .”

The man got down the rock and started walking back into the forest and thought to himself time has come for me to meet my children it is time to meet a new enemy who can only be defeated if we stand united”.

He slowly walked with his accompanion into the foggy woods and disappeared .
