THE LAND OF THE RIDERS
A women with her head covers with a shawl ran through the abandoned street she was a women in her 20ties and she was pale and with green eyes. She was running with a small bundle in her hand. She kept looking back to see if anyone was following her or not a huge roar behind her confirmed her fears and she picked up her pace and looked frantically around for any house nearby . It was an empty street she went a little further and realized that there was a city within a few .enters she later realized it was just a small town . She went near the first house a small cottage and at the entrance she kept the bundle down the bundle was a small baby who was sound asleep . She kept him down and kept a small slip of paper near him and she kissed the baby , put a long chain on him and kept a diary kind of book and said " good luck Trevor " and she went to the back of the house and saw a horse she sat on it and rode on the opposite direction of the town . In the distance on the top of a mountain a small light was seen from the place the house was it was pretty small . But it was actually a dwelling town where the entire place was burnt down and a bunch of people were walking away from that place on the other side of the mountain . A man about 27 was walking holding a pregnant women who was struggling to walk . The man was tall with jet black hair which was wavy and fair complexioned . The lady on the other hand was fair and had blonde but straight hair her eyes were brown which went perfectly with her hair . She had a big stomach and was walking wobbly and she was holding her stomach .
She finally spoke up " what now Dave his majesty is dead , her highness will soon be and now we are homeless with that guy burned down our homes and taken over the castle with his troupes . " The man looked at the mountain where the fire was still burning. And he said " let's hope the prince survives . " He looked back and said to the people following him " it's time to leave to a new place which cannot be found and wait for our true king to return " he turned around and they all followed him into the woods at the foot of the mountain . And in a few minutes they we're nowhere to be seen .
In the morning a lady with a long gown stepped out of the cottage and as she stretched her arms she heard a small cry . And startled she looked down to see a small bundle with a baby boy with black eyes and was light brown in complexion . The lady looked at him with loving eyes . She was wheatish and charming her lips curved into a smile and her brown eyes showed happiness by looking at him . She happily carried him inside and slowly rocking him to calm him down . She saw that a paper was stuck to him she pulled it out and read it .
It read " please take care of Trevor he is special " . The note dint say whom it was from . The lady din't mind she took him in . After all she had come to the cottage to adopt a child and she had already found one . She took him and showed her husband who was more than happy to have this boy . The man was fair and gentle he had delicate eyes of blue . And he was more than happy that his Tina had found a son ." Whose is he " Paul asked her . " Don't know the note dint mention any name but can we keep him " Tina asked her eyes pleading. Paul smiled and nodded at her giving his approval to keep him . "So his name is Trevor" Tina said smiling at her son .
" Trevor wake up " his mother's voice echoed from down . Trevor sat up in bed and looked at the clock ,it was 8 and he shouted back " why you calling in the middle of the night mom " . Tina's voice raised higher as she yelled back " it's morning , I know it's Sunday but you really have to get up " . Trevor said ' ok I'm up " he got of bed and went to the mirror and rubbed his eyes . He was really dizzy and wasn't over yesterdays hangover . He had way too many shots . After all he was celebrating his inventions success and was partying all night and came home pretty late . He still went to the restroom and washed his face . He looked at himself in the mirror . Trevor had grown a lot since the day his mother found him on her door step . He had black luscious hair his complexion light brown really complemented his eyes as they stood out being jet black and they somehow twinkled in the light , the only thing different about him was that he had a kinda of weird mark on his hand a small arc just below his thumb . He washed up quickly pulled on a baggy shirt and jeans and jumped down the stairs still he reached the bottom . He was 27 and already a really celebrated scientist. He had finished college by 12 being brilliant and "special " as his mother called him . He was 14 when a inventions company called and recruited him . He was now the head of the electronic sector .
As he reached down stairs he saw his father reading the newspaper and when he said his father without looking up said to him " The only things I see in the papers nowadays is your face and nothing else " Trevor rolled his eyes . Pleasing his father was almost impossible. He took a plate and grabbed a egg and some croissants. He said to his father " dad most father's would be happy to see their sons face in the papers , proud even " he dad looked at him and said " is it bad that I want to see a little variety " Trevor looked back at him and said " well mom need a little variety from you , but you don't hear her complaining" was Trevor's reply just before his father whacked him on his back . He winced and his mother turned off the stove and said " can't the two of you have a meal without quarreling " . Just then Trevor's phone rang and Trevor picked up the phone without looking at the name and with his mouth full picked his call and said " hello " a shrill voice rang out from the other side " babe why you not picking my calls " Trevor rolled his eyes and retorted back " Lisa I think I made it clear that I broke up with you , so please stop bugging me " . He cut the call and banged his head on the table . He stayed in the same position and groaned . His ex- girlfriend just wasn't ready to let him go . She was too possessive of him even when they were dating and was still now . She was his first and last girlfriend and she was the reason he didn't want to date anymore. She totally made him feel like his life was sucked out . She used to call him even after their breakup to get back . But he was in no way getting back with her . His father said " your girlfriend still calling you" he turned his head and said " ex " his mother sat down next to him and said " aww honey don't worry one day you'll find the girl made for you and this one won't bug you anymore " Trevor lifted his head and put his head on his mother's shoulder and said " after this one I don't want to find another " . His mom patted his head and asked him to finish his food first . As he put his plate in the sink and came back his phone rang again he picked it and yelled " would you leave me alone Lisa " and surprised voice came back from the phone saying " dude it's me " Trevor mumbled an apology to his buddy Morty who was his best friend since 3rd grade . His buddy continued " I told you not to date a Gemini they are always two face and plus your an Aquarius . You need to find a Virgo for yourself ....." Trevor sighed . His friend believed a lot in astrology and the zodiac signs and kept on tattling about who was right for whom . Trevor stopped him and said " dude why did you call other than to give me your astrology knowledge " Morty stopped and replied " oh , right I called to ask if you wanted to hang out today " Trevor said "sure I'll meet you in an hour " Morty said " not now I'm still asleep I meant tonight at clinking glasses , there is a party with hot girls I could set you up " . Trevor thought about and realized that he had asked his boss for a week of leave as he really wanted to take the stress off and his boss had happily given him that as he was one of the person who was a great asset to the company so he said " ok what time " Morty said " at 10 , don't be late " .
Trevor sat in one corner of the bar counter sipping his wine . He was very introvert and dint like mingling much and he never wanted to go but since he never spent time with Morty he said yes . He watched as Morty tried to impress the girls none of them falling for him . Morty was a chubby Stout guy who was dark . Trevor was actually wishing he doesn't get a girlfriend. Cause if he does get dumped then Trevor was the one who would have to listen to him cry , curse and lament over his fate. As he watched him try to flirt . His phone rang he saw the caller ID and cut the call . It rang again . He angrily picked the phone to hear Lisa's voice say " babe come back to me " he just snapped at her " never , even if we were the last two people on Earth " and he cut the call and almost went to throw it but stopped himself and put the phone in His pocket .
"A person can only talk like that when an ex girlfriend or a betraying friend calls and judging by your statement I say it's an ex girlfriend" Trevor turned to see who had spoken . He saw a girl with long brown hair tied into a ponytail . Her hair waves reached her hip perfectly. Her eyes brown and she was fair and practically if they stood she would come till his neck . He was practically 5'8 and she was perfect to adjust his height . She was wearing a white one piece pant and top which was full sleeves and he noticed she had a long chain around her neck whose pendant looked like a dragon . She was exactly the way he wanted a girl to be like . But again he didn't know her character and hence didn't want to get involved with her and blankly said " you guessed right " the bartender came over to her and asked " what can I get you " . She smiled and said "just a glass of coke " . Trevor found this fascinating and said " you go to the bar to drink coke" she turned to him and said " I drink alcohol only on two occasions, when I win or when I lose and right now is neither if those times " Trevor asked " really why so " . The girl gave a small chuckle and smiled at the bartender when he kept her glass . She picked it up and said " because there is no challenge yet ,cheers " she said and took a sip of her drink . He nodded and took a sip of his . She asked " so what made you leave her " he sighed and said " possessiveness" she squinted her eyes and said " ouch that's really the worst reasons to break up " Trevor continued" now she won't leave me alone " . The girl said " well can't say I blame her you got the charm and the looks but also looks like you really need some luck " she reached into a white purse she was carrying and pulled out a silver ring and said " here take this , it's for luck " . Trevor reached out and took the ring and put it on his finger he looked at it and said "thanks " . The girl finished her drink and said " anytime " . Suddenly Trevor got a stupid idea and asked her " are you a Virgo " she looked at him in a calm demeanor and said " no , I'm a Cancer " . She paid her bill and got of her chair and started to walk away she stopped halfway and turned around and said " by the way , names Vanessa call me Nessa" Trevor replied " Trevor call me Trevor" . She smiled and left . Morty ran up to him and asked " was she a Virgo " Trevor took a sip and said " nope she's a cancer " Morty jumped and said " even better dude , you want me to set you up " Trevor looked at him and said " no thx , and why don't you set yourself up first I think the girls group is gonna leave soon " Morty looked and quickly ran over to the group . Trevor smiled to himself and looked at the ring and hoped it would bring him luck . Outside as Vanessa reached an empty ground and pulled out a phone and dialed a number and as soon as someone picked and she heard a hello from the other side she replied " I got him " and she gave a sinister smile .
Trevor sat in his balcony y sipping coffee and hence he was kinda relaxed . He got a call and he didn't have to see the I'd to guess who it would be he picked the phone and said in a sad tone " hello " Lisa's excited tone rang " Trevor I'm over you I found someone for myself " hearing this Trevor jumped up and said happily" really , congrats and good luck to him " Lisa said " bye and let's still be friends" Trevor who was smiling said in a happy tone " no , goodbye forever" and cut the call and flopped on the chair Happy and content. He looked at the ring on his finger and thought" looks like it is good luck " he raced down and his mother told him " honey can you get some violets from the florist please " Trevor said happily" today I'll do anything" Tina looked at him and said " well I guess something great happened" he replied just before going outside from the door " something amazing , Lisa got a new boyfriend" he ran out the door and all the way to the florist . When he got there the old women smiled at him and he said " morning Diana , a bunch of your fresh violets please " as he waited he looked around and saw near the vegetables guy it was Vanessa. He squinted to see clearly and it was no mistake she was the one he had met last night. As Diana handed him the flowers he asked her " how much are those white daises for ?" . He rushed over just in time to see her start to walk away he called out loud enough " hey Nessa " she heard that and turned around and smiled at him saying" hey Trevor , what you doing " Trevor showed her the violets and said " buying flowers for the house . Oh by the way these are for you " he gave her the daisies . She took them and said " wow that's the first time a guys given me flowers on my second meeting" . Trevor replied" I just wanted to say thank you . Your ring really worked for a good luck . So you can have it back " he started to take it off she stopped him and said " oh no , keep it as a gift you might need luck later " he stopped and said " thx " Vanessa smiled and said " welcome and white daisies are my favorite I really love them , thank you and bye" Trevor said " bye" and looked at her walking away she looked amazing in the jeans and her floral top with her hair left loose held together with a clip . As he went back Diana saw him looking at her and said " nice girl she is , perfect for you " Trevor smiled at her and said " she is way over my league " .
Trevor found it weird that Diana would actually think that Vanessa would be perfect for him she was the complete opposite of him , or at least he presumed so . she was so difficult to understand and it was impossible to know what she was planing or thinking about . Trevor walked back to his house thinking about her for quite some time . he went in and gave the flowers to his mom absentmindedly . Tina asked him finally after looking at him thinking about something " who are you dreaming about " Trevor snapped out o his trance and said " what makes you think that I am dreaming about someone " Tina smiled at him and said " your face and expression is different fro when you left the house and from when you came back " . Trevor smiled at her she just managed to find out everything about him , and he noticed that though he felt that he had no chance with Vanessa he couldn't stop thinking about her and hence was acting absent minded . he said " nothing important mom ".He dashed upstairs and opened his facebook and started looking for her profile . after a long search he saw her photo with another guy who looked almost exactly like her . he sent her a request and within a few minutes it was accepted . He sent her a message asking her whether they could meet and she replied stating " sure how about the park behind the bar that we first meet " . He replied OK and asked her to meet at about 5 pm and she texted back saying " how about 8" . Trevor was confused as to why 8 but he dint question her much and agreed .
back at her apartment Vanessa closed her computer and saw a missed call on her phone from an unknown number and she opened the phone and called back the number and went outside near the balcony to talk to the person . in a few minutes she cut the call and stood near the balcony with her hands resting on the railing . and her hair dancing in the wind and she touched her pendant and smiled .
Trevor was busy the next day and testing his talking drone and his boss came in and hugged him. his boss put him down and said " you are a genius your camouflage bugs are amazing i got calls from almost 50 buyers for them " Trevor just smiled and said " happy for you sir , " his boss held his shoulders and hugged him again saying " I'm going to give you a raise " he almost crushed Trevor and put him down before he went back to work . Trevor shook his head . he glanced at his phone and realized it was almost 7:30 . he had to leave if he intended to reach the park on time . he packed his things and rushed out just to bump into Morty ."where you going bud " Morty asked as he saw Trevor was in a hurry . Trevor replied " just meeting a friend , I'll see you later " . A smug look came on Morty's face and he asked " can I come along " Trevor smiled back and said " nope " and walked out to his bike . He pulled on his jacket and put his helmet on a d then sat on his BMX and drove to the park he took a shortcut to the place . The shortcut though faster was through an isolated street . As he was driving through suddenly a guy coming in the opposite direction on a bike hit him on the stomach . The hit impacted him so badly that he lost control of the bike and fell . He managed to get of the bike and took of his helmet to see if he was hurt he just noticed that his leg was hurt as his bike had fallen on his leg hurting his knee . He managed to get up and look for help he saw that the guy on the bike was coming back but this time he held a gun in his hand . Trevor did what any defenceless idiot would do he tried to run with a broken leg . He ran dodging the bullets more of he was limping very fast . He managed to reach the park until he fell out of exhaustion and pain from his leg . The guy on the bike came there and got of his bike and walked towards Trevor and stood next to him he put one of his leg on Trevor's broken leg and pressed it hard . Trevor yelled in pain . He looked at the guy and said " what do you want from me " the guy came closer to him and said " oh nothing, I just have to kill you " as he said that 3 other guys came behind him .the guy continued" and to present your head to the boss " . Trevor strained his brain cells to think of any underworld guy who hated him but he dint seem to remember anyone .
The guy got up and pointed his gun at Trevor's head . Trevor was so pertrified that he couldn't even close his eyes .he just stared until he heard a gun shot . He presumed that he died until he realised that the gun fell from the guys hand and he stepped back clutching his bleeding hand .
Trevor got up and managed to stand to see Vanessa with a shot gun in her hand which was smoking. He put it down and walked towards Trevor behind her . Trevor asked her " why do you have a gun " . She don't seem to reply but she glared at him so he knew better to shut up and not upset the girl with a gun . The men looked at her and she moved back with Trevor behind her movie g . Finally still pointing the gun towards the men she asked him " are you ok " he replied " other than my broken leg I'm fine " . She said " let's go " and he obediently did as she said and as they were going all the guys came behind them and all pulled out guns and the guy from the bike said " you shouldn't have done that kid . You are going to regret it " . She looked at him and said " neither should have you jerk " . The guy took out a huge gun from the other guy and pointed it at them . Vanessa froze and told Trevor " I think I should not have said that " Trevor said " you think" . Vanessa reached her locket and took it off .she flung it and yelled " skydancer" and a kind of black dust kind of swirling sand appeared and huge creature with a long snout and two pointy ears small yellow eyes and it's huge body with scales with a long tail with two flaps on the tip of the tail and it had two huge wings , it was blue and green in color . Trevor wanted to run but didn't seeing that the creature seemed to communicate with Vanessa and she said to it " I know buddy I'm sorry ".
Vanessa seeing that she can't face all of them alone called her friend and her her loyal dragon.
The moment Skydancer came out she spoke to her through her mind connection . " Took you long enough to call me " she replied back to her " she " I know buddy I'm sorry " she continued" but I can use some help " Skydancer turned at the men and breath a huge flame of fire blocking them from coming near . Vanessa climbed on Skydancer and shouted back at Trevor " climb on if you intend to live " Trevor ran over and took Vanessa's hand and climbed on the dragon . As they started to take off Trevor saw Morty there and he said " awesome" the guys heard him and turned towards him . Trevor yelled " Morty what you doing here " . Listening to this the guy said to his friends " get the friend " . Trevor realized they were leaving and Morty was trying to run away . Trevor told Vanessa" help him please " Vanessa rolled her eyes and told Skydancer" get that guy too bud . Skydancer flew a little higher and went behind Morty and swooped down and just as the guys reached him grabbed him with it's front claws and flew away with them . The guys dint waste much time they all were wearing rings and they all yelled the names of the dragons and they all came out from the rings .
They were being followed by 4 guys on dragons . Vanessa saw that they were shooting she spun skydancer and she flamed at them catching the distraction Vanessa shot one of the guys and as he was killed he fell with the dragon turning to stone and fall down too . Sky dancer went on flying and Vanessa finally asked Trevor " can you shoot " he said " no " and she said "then fly Skydancer" without waiting for him to answer she pulled him forward and then she sat back the other way around and started shooting at the others . She managed to strike out another guy until one guy managed to insure her hand and the gun fell . Trevor realized that as she was hurt the dragons wing was hurt . As it winced . Vanessa talked back to her saying" don't stop buddy " . She pulled out a bow and few arrows out after a bag hanging on the dragon and then started shooting at the last two one struck a guys eye blinding him and his dragon a d she shot one at his heart killing him and his dragon turning into stone . She just wasn't able to hit the last guy with the arrow a few struck him but they continue d to pursue them . Vanessa cursed " this guy just won't die " Trevor heard that and asked give me one arrow she handed one to him and he took one and tore off a part of his shirt wrapped around the arrow and told Skydancer" spit fire please " Skydancer gave a gentle blow lighting the arrow on fire and Trevor gave it to Vanessa and said " try this " she smiled and said " good thinking" and she aimed the arrow at him and hit it at his shoulder he. Aught fire and so did his dragon and they both fell burning. Skydancer threw Morty up and caught him on her back . Vanessa put the arrows and the bow back . She told Skydancer" home " and Skydancer replied to her " alright then " . Morty spoke up " dude your girlfriend is awesome " they both retorted" not dating" . Trevor asked her " who are you and who were they , why are they trying to kill me and how are you communicate with a this thing called Skydancer and why are we riding on a dragon " Vanessa smiled and said " I'll answer your questions one we reach " Trevor asked " where " Vanessa said " our home " . And soon they were over the clouds and at dawn they descended below the clouds and as they did Trevor saw a beautiful green land with a lot of small houses . And a huge training ground and a few guys with their dragons . The place was huge and it was like a small island and was pretty big enough for a big army to stay and live there . Vanessa said " welcome to the land of the riders " soon a few dragons with people joined with all of them as they were passing by saying" welcome back Vanessa " " good to. See you Vanessa " "hey Vanessa we see you have brought him " . Vanessa slowly guided Skydancer downward to the ground.
On reaching the ground Skydancer slowly bent down and allowed Vanessa and the two boys to get down . As she led the way she let another man who came to her and bowed to lead Skydancer away . And the dragon followed him obediently. But before leaving it snapped at Trevor and fumed a little and left . Vanessa started walking towards a big house . It was in the middle a land . The place was more people than houses and more open space . Vanessa finally spoke without looking back " Skydancer asked you not to call her the thing " Trevor nodded without replying to her .
As he followed her Inside the huge house he saw that the house was very cool . It had no fans or any kind of cooler but it was well ventilated . There were photos on a rack near the fire place and 2 sofas and one recliner . The dining table was to the right of the fire place and was set with only 3 chairs and a basket of fruits with a knife . Trevor realized that there were maybe 3 rooms in the house . One down and maybe 2 other on the top . For he noticed there was fleet of stairs which led to the top floor . The house was very much brown for walls were concrete with the roof made with hay piles and in a rack there were a pile of guns in the side and one wrist watch was lying on one of the hangers near the guns . Morty was speechless as he couldn't survive without internet.
Morty looked at Trevor and said" dude I don't think they have technology here ." Vanessa stopped and put on one of the wrist watch and pushed a few buttons on it and the fire place went in and a few computers screens came out and the screens showed the different places around the entire place . Vanessa turned at the boys and said " we do have technology and pretty good Internet connectivity . But we masker our identity and bounce our signals so that people don't find us also there is camouflage technology so that they don't see us . But it is still not safe so .." she pointed at Morty and continued " you have to leave soon " . Vanessa realized that the boys had froze and we're pointing at so something behind her and she turned around and saw a creature with long teeth and a tounge looking at her and roared at her . But she dint really worry much and finally said " no funciona Valiente ( not working Valient) " the creature stood up straight and said "nunca funciona en ti ( it never works on you ) " . Trevor realized that the it was a boy under it and pushed Morty away who was literally sitting on him . The boy removed his mask and Trevor realized that he was the guy who was on Vanessa's Facebook. The boy took off his costume and looked pretty normal he was the same as Vanessa all the features but he had blonde wavy hair instead of brown . He looked at the boys and asked Vanessa " Quienes son tus amigas ( who are your friends ) " Vanessa replied " nuestro verdadero rey y su amigo ( our true king and his buddy )" the guy looked at them again and said " Estas segura ( are you sure ) " the boys looked chubby and skinny so he was not sure . Vanessa who was near the table picked an apple and said " El anillo lo eligió así que estoy seguro ( the ring choose him so I am sure ) " . Trevor and Morty had no idea what the hell the two were talking about as they were talking really fast in Spanish . Finally Vanessa looked at them and said " right sorry this is Valient my twin ," she looked at Valient and said " Di hola ( say hi ) " Valient looked at them and with a weird smile said " Hola chicos ( hey guys ) " and then turned to his sister and said "pero es donde van a quedarse ( but where they going to stay ) " Vanessa said " en nuestra casa en tu habitación ( in our house in your room ) " she dint wait for his response and said " come on guys " and she hoped upstairs and stopped halfway and asked Valient " donde esta papa ( where is dad ) " Valient looked at her frowning and said " ido a patrullar ( gone on patrolling) " and he continued" donde me quedare entonces ( where will I stay )" Vanessa smiled and said " ¿qué tal el trastero ( how about the store room )" Valient yelled and stromed out of the house . Vanessa took Trevor up to a room and opened the room . The room had one bed and two windows next to each other . Vanessa went next to the bed and pulled another bed from below the other bed . She pulled out a medical kit and bandaged Trevor's wound and later pulled the bullet from her hand and bandaged her own hand and said to the guys " you guys can stay here for today , my dad will meet you and answer your questions ok . But your buddy you will have leave " Morty stuck to Trevor and said " with all due respect I'm not leaving him here and I'm not riding on a dragon " Vanessa looked and said " with all disrespect you can't" . Looking at Morty Trevor said " Nessa I am not so very ok over here so it would be better if someone is here to calm me down , cause I'm freaking out right now so please " Vanessa looked at his face and realized he was freaking out so she said " well I'll let dad decide that " Trevor asked her " you speak Spanish " she smiled and said left" my parents are Mexican so yeah pretty much " with that she left the two of them there and went away . Trevor went near one window and opeaned it and stared out looking at the dragons and their riders Practicing . Morty went over and said " dude what do we do? " Trevor said " well we have to wait " . He said that cause he knew something was wrong and that he wanted to know the answers to all the questions he had . More off he was worried about how worried his parents would be . He thought to himself ' mom I hope you are ok ' and continued staring into the wilderness
Vanessa got out of the house and ran outside looking for her father . She ran to the dragon stables and looked around. Even if he was patrolling he would be here . Once he is back he would be there . Dave was near a dragon and looking at the eggs she had laid . Dave looked at the caretaker and said " informar cada vez que salga un huevo (inform me whenever a egg hatches )" . The caretaker bowed his head . all the dragons knew Dave and always were never scared when he came close to them . Vanessa spotted her father and went next to him and said "papá él está aquí ( dad he is here)" . Dave heard his daughter and excused himself to go see Trevor .
Dave came in he had become old but he was the sole in charge of the place and the one and only top warrior of land the place they lived was on the top of mountains of Switzerland . The mountain was pretty high and was too difficult to reach by foot so they knew they were safe and no one could find them . But just to be safe they used to be patrolling . 2 years after giving birth to his twin children . His wife died after being shot by the rivals . Since then for 24 years he had raised his children alone until they were 26 and trained them exactly the way a warrior would train his children . With the amount of training and extra work by them they had turned to be pretty good warriors and commanded the female and male riders . Dave looked at Trevor and analysed him up and down not sure if Vanessa had got the right person.
Dave went towards the boys and said " hola , it is nice to finally see you . You have grown a lot since I last saw you Trevor " he spoke with a bit of a Spanish accent . Trevor took his hand and said " sir as much as I am pleased to meet you I am kinda of really freaked out and also very curious about what exactly is happening and where exactly am I " . Dave smiled calmly and said " I'll answer everything , but first who is the other chico (guy) " Dave asked pointing to Morty . Vanessa quickly replied "papá es amigo de Trevor ( dad he is Trevor's friend ) " Dave said " ahh ok , my daughter told me he doesn't I tend to go back with his buddy . Well fine as long as he doesn't cause too much trouble he can stay " Morty looked relieved and said " than you so much sir " Dave just said "de nada (welcome )my friend " . Trevor smiled and looked at Dave and said " sir I'm kinda confused "
Dave just said to him " if you can with your wound walk with me niño (kid) " Trevor followed as Morty was following Dave stopped and said " why doesn't your amigo stay here I need to speak with you alone , Vanessa can brief him " he turned to Vanessa and said "Nessa hace que nuestra invitada se sienta cómoda ( Nessa make our guest feel comfortable) "Vanessa nodded and said " está bien, papá ( ok dad )" . Dave led Trevor outside .
Dave and Trevor walked outside in the practice ground with a lot of people training with their dragons and many more just playing and some people making weapons and polishing guns and stuff . Trevor walked around looking at all of it pretty surprised. Dave finally spoke up " so what do you want to k ow " Trevor reied " everything , I don't know where I am , what I am , and who are you guys " . Dave smiled and said " you should be asking who are you . " Trevor looked at him confused and Dave continued" ever wondered as to wat that mark on your hand means " Trevor looked at his hand and said " that arc ki da thing " Dave nodded and showed his hand which had the same mark but a little longer . He continued" this mark is the mark of a rider a one who can command a dragon and be in with it . " . Trevor said " so that means that I can command one too , whoa . Sir I am no rider , I am just a guy who lives a normal life with my foster parents a simple scientist. The guns dragons and stuff is way out of my legue " Dave smiled " do you know who your real parents are ? " Trevor slowly said " no , my parents told me they found me on their doorstep nothing more " Dave took him into a huge stadium shaped room and it was dark inside and there was a fire burning and on the top of the fire a perfectly round pink egg kinda of gem was floating in the middle of the room and the portraits of many people we're put up . Dave went up to the front of the room next to a portrait of a man and a women standing in front of the man . The man was slightly dark , had brown hair and stood pretty proudly and had green eyes and women on the other hand was fair complexioned and had brown eyes and straight black hair looking gentle and wise . Their couple was magnificent together. Dave said " our most wisest leaders were your parents the best person I have met , my best friend" . Trevor looked at the two of them and asked what happened to them . Dave looked at the portrait and began " it was a wonderful place the palace and the kingdom . It's somewhere a couple of kilometres from here once a flourishing land . The land of riders known as Grandeza or in English greatness . The land reflected greatness that's why . Your father sat as king on the throne of the palace with your mother by his side as his queen . His brother as the commander in chief . I was his army general and he was my best friend until one day the king's brother died in an accident . His car exploded because of a bomb kept by an enemy . The king feel into depression. But it dint end there the enemy attacked again with a fleet of dragons and killed the king . It was the time when my wife was pregnant and you were born . The king made sure the queen could run but she just gave you to a servant and asked her to save you . I think she left you near the cottage of your parents . The queen with her dragon may be dead . But that wasn't enough for El destructor or as he calls himself the destroyer and we call him Destro . He burned down all the villages under the kingdom the ones that were left and stayed alive came here away from his eyes but a place where we can keep an eye on him . Waiting for you to come , you can save us " Trevor was stunned at this . His father was a king that would mean he was their next leader what had happened to his Happy life . Dave waved his hand in front of Trevor's face and asked " are you ok " Trevor snapped out and said " yeah I am fine it's just a lot to didgest " Dave continued " well there is more your dragon has to chose you and connect with you " Dave stareted walking out of the room . Trevor asked " I'm sorry what " Dave said " well you have a dragon for your self your mark connects with the dragon and he and you can connect and converse with each other " Dave wistled and a huge green a blue dragon came towards him this one looked just like Vanessa dragon but had a red chest it came towards Dave and put it's head down and blew it's notrils at Trevor in an hello . Dave said " she likes you , meet moon jumper . My most loyal girl " Dave showed him the dragons head it had a mark just like his hand . It's Mark was seen only when the dragon came closer as the mark was just a place of the scale a little pused inside the dragon . Dave kept his hand on the dragons head and said " the mark binds you with your dragon each dragon will fly with only one rider it's entire life and if the rider dies so does the dragon but you don't die neither does the dragon so remember try and kill the rider not the dragon as they don't die if you don't . Your hurt so is your dragon. Onece the bond of your mark happens with the dragon you are one for life . " Trevor asked " how do youknow who is your dragon " Dave said " you will be able to hear him . And anyway what you need to know is there are exactly 5 breeds the fireheart like mine pretty good defenders , the shredwinger the fast flying ones , the sliceclaws hunting dragons like Valient's dragon and one of the rare one drifttails the perfect warriors . They are fighters and good flyers but they are rare " as though responding to that skydancer roar was herd from the sky with Vanessa flying with him and Morty holding on to Vanessa and screaming " get me off this thing " . Trevor looked at this and said " oh boy " he looked at Dave and said " I'm guessing skydancer is a drifttail " Dave nodded . Trevor asked " what about the fifth breed " . Dave said " very few of the fifth breed exist it's called the thunder breath breaths real thunder fire balls really dangerous" Trevor asked " are there any " Dave said " only two for now one is destroy dragon and the other younger one is a stray danger to us at the moment , try not to meet it " Trevor nodded . Vanessa landed skydancer right next to them and got of and asked Trevor " so how is it going " skydancer said to Vanessa" I hope he will leave " Vanessa looked at her dragon and said " come on be nice " Trevor went over near skydancer and said " I'm sorry I called you thing , can we start over " skydancer looked at him and put it's head near him . Vanessa said " she says ok so fist bump her snout " trevor bumped her long nose gently . Sky dancer shook her head and lifted her head and pushed her snout into Trevor's hands asking him to pet her and Trevor dint mind doing it and said " good boy .. I mean girl " he changed his sentence when skydancer grunted on being called boy . Valient came near them on his frowning dragon he called Chisler . He came and landed near them and got off his dragon and asked his father "
Papá, ¿puedo destrozar la habitación con Vanessa?( Can I share the room with Vanessa )" Vanessa replied to that saying "Seguro mientras no ronques( sure as long as you don't snore )" Valient smiled in a 'very funny ' way and asked her " quiero ir a dar un paseo (want to go for a ride ) " his father said "no hay tiempo para paseos, vanessa toma el esfuerzo de elegir y valiente ve a practicar tus tiros ( no time for rides , Vanessa take Trevor to choose and Valient go practice ) . He continued saying " también Vanessa trevor es tu responsabilidad ok( also Vanessa Trevor is your responsibility ok)" Vanessa nodded . Valient started with " pero papá...(but dad ..) " but stopped when his dad glared at him and said " Sí papá ( yes dad ) " and walked away after giving Trevor a deadly stare and flew away on Chisler and Chisler grunted at Trevor . Trevor went with Vanessa and Skydancer following and asked her " why do I have feeling that Valient dosen't like me " Vanessa said " don't take it personally he is just like that with new people , he will work up later , but for now he will be sharing the room with me and you won't have to see him much , since you are my responsibility let's get you started " she laid and led hi. To the stables of the dragons without riders.
Trevor and Morty stood dumbfounded at the sight there were huge dragons of green and blue and very few drift tails but mostly fire hearts were many Vanessa went in and motioned for Trevor to come forward and said " close your eyes and try to hear any voice or any mind connection with any one of them . " Trevor closed his eyes and focused but no matter what he heard nothing. He strained harder but he heard nothing. He opened his eyes and said " I don't feel any connection or any voice " Vanessa looked at him and said " are you sure , that's not possible , there is always a dragon for a rider . Never mind we will try later " . As they walked out Trevor heard something like a faint whisper someone saying " another village , man I want to make it fast " . Trevor stood rooted to the spot he closed his eyes and focused on his ears he heard the voice again a males deep voice saying " they think I'm a monster " Trevor said " what " Vanessa looked back and said " what did you say " Trevor looked at her and said " I heard a voice a male voice " she looked at him and said are you sure . He started to say yes . But before he could he heard a loud roar from a little far away . And then a huge horn blew . Vanessa shouted " everyone take cover and get the children inside " Everyone in the ground pulled their dragons inside their lockets and rings . And rushed inside the house nearest to them . The few children outside were pulled inside . Vanessa grabbed Morty and Trevor and dragged them inside the stable and said "stay quite " . He realised even the dragons inside the stables cowered a little and went to the back . With the caretakers calming them . Trevor went to the big doors of the table and opeaned it a little bit to see what was going on. He looked near the sky up and saw an enormous black and purple winged dragon with huge wings fly past and he heard the voice again this time stronger" pfft , riders and their idiotic dragons . They think if they hide I don't see them " . Trevor took out his phone and recorded the voice of the dragon. As it passed their place everyone came out and Trevor asked " what the hell was that ?" Vanessalooked up and said " the stray thunder breath , nowdays it's become a little temperamental . It was born to the king's thunder breath but after it's parents got killed it turned stray and escaped and even burnt the house down when it learnt to blow fire . They strike like thunder and blow balls of them too . They have some chemical inside their throat which causes the spark and fire " Trevor had a weird idea but he dint say anything cause simply putting it people would say he was crazy . He just asked Vanessa " do you guys have a laboratory " Vanessa smiled and nodded at him and took him to a tent which was put up and asked him to follow . Trevor's idea was slightly different but he was happy that there was a place where he could fit in as that was the things he could understand .
Valient was on a ride with Chisler pretty badly as well he never spoke to anyone much so he was always by himself also with his temper nobody wanted to talk to him either cause they had no idea as to what he would do and when he might get angry . Chisler chose him as he was temperamental too . Chisler connected with him and said " Bastante enojado hoy( pretty angry today ) Valient smirked and said "Sabes por qué
(You know why ) " Chisler flew down at a Gazzelle and killed it settling the night's dinner .
At night they usually had dinner at the bonfire outside so as they all sat around the bonfire Valiente looked around as he dint see Vanessa she was never late . He saw Morty and went over to ask and then decided not to as he dint like to talk to many people . So he just sat and waited for her but Morty came and sat next to him and started talking to him Valient tolarated him until he gave him and stare and said " cállate o te ahogaré ( shut up or I will choke you) " though Morty had no idea as to what he said he knew he better shut up . Valient finally saw Vanessa coming with Trevor talking and happily laughing with him . Valient quickly called out to her "Vanessa por aquí ( Vanessa over here) " Vanessa looked to his direction and smiled she pulled Trevor along with her and sat next to Valient and pulled Trevor next to her on the other side . Trevor waved to Valient " hey Valient" Valient just waved at him without a smile . Morty leaned over to Trevor and asked " so how's it going with her " Trevor looked at him and. And said " Morty she was just showing me around
There nothing going on between us " Morty looked at Vanessa talking to Valient and said" I know for sure that something will happen between you two " Trevor smiled and asked "how are you so sure " Morty looked and said " just a gut feeling" .
After dinner as they were going to bed Trevor caught with Vanessa and said to her " hey can I work in the lab tonight " Vanessa said " sure no problem " Trevor said " cool" and ran off to finish what he was working on . Vanessa stared at him running off to the tent and heard Valient calling her and she went home with him and Morty . Valient was taking non stop with Vanessa dreaming with her eyes open thinking hard Valient voice brought her back when he asked " esta usted escuchando ( are you even listening) "Vanessa snapped out and said " lo siento, estaba perdido en mis pensamientos ( sorry I was lost in thought) "
Valient continued to talk Vanessa listened for a while and stopped Valient and said "volveré más tarde duermes, necesito ver algo ( I'll be back later you sleep I have to see something)" she dint even wait for Valient to respond and ran out . Valient knew where she was going to go and he bit his teeth at the thought of it .
Vanessa peeped into the tent and saw Trevor working hard enough . She stood there staring at him until he finally said " you are making it difficult to work if you keep staring at me " Vanessa went in and asked " how long did you know I was standing there " he said " from the time you peeked inside " . She smiled and went next to the table he was working on and saw a kind of small tablet ki d of thing . Vanessa saw that and asked " you worked for so long on this" . Trevor smiled and said " this can detect any thing or person just with a sound so i thought it can help me " Vanessa piped up after he shut the back of the tablet and asked " what do you intend to use it for ?" Trevor tested it on her and said " it works so I'll tell you tomorrow , but for now get some sleep I need you to take me somewhere tomorrow" Vanessa stood her ground and said " I'm not going until you tell me " . Trevor stopped outside the tent and turned to her and said " look I told you I'll tell you tomorrow so now to bed plz " Vanessa stood at the entrance of the tent and said " stop talking like my mom " Trevor replied " I would if you won't act stubborn " Vanessa replied back " inborn character , can't help it " . Trevor went back and put his hands on either side of her and put his hand around her neck and bent a little to reach her height and said " go to bed and let me sleep too or else I can just carry you there " Vanessa widened her eyes and said " ok I'll go cause if you do carry me we will be giving Morty a very different idea of friends" Trevor took his hands of her and walked back laughing with her . She had become damn good friends with him within one day and Morty was already getting different ideas about them.
Valient was standing at the window looking at the two of them and he clenched his fists together so much that he almost could have broken a glass if he had held one .
The next morning when Vanessa woke up and went down Trevor was already dressed and ready . She wanted to show him the place a little more around the place so she had worn her black suit which was a tight pant and a full sleeves shirt . She dint have much time for breakfast so she grabbed an apple and rushed out with Trevor . As she reached outside she whistled for Skydancer and he came next to her . She saddled him with the saddles they had kept for dragon s and another person so she put it on and bucked it under the dragon .
Just then Valient came and said " Vanessa viene a dar un paseo ( Vanessa coming for a ride ) . " Vanessa said " Seguro después de un tiempo tiene que mostrar trevor alrededor ( sure after some time I have to show Trevor around the place ) " Valient just moved back and said "Oh ok segura ( oh ok. Sure )" Valient faced Trevor and shot him a look that said 'don't mess with my sister ' and turned away and called Chisler, grabbed a gun and went into the forest towards the shooting course he had set up . Vanessa flew with Trevor behind her . She took him towards a place with a waterfall and a tall rock in front of it and sky dancer few right into the waterfall and through the cave and then came out through the other side revealing a green pasture with various different dragons there . Trevor looked around and asked " what is this place , are all of them stray " Vanessa smiled and said " no they are the dragons who are the age of Mating , they come here to find their mates sometimes without their riders . Why else do you think I'm not landing . " Trevor looked at all of them . He saw that they we're all nuzzling with another . Trevor said " so that's how they mate " Vanessa said " yes , so the eggs laud will hatch only when it's rider is born . They grow together that's why they can connect with each other . " Trevor asked " at what age can they connect" Vanessa said " depends some by 15 and said.e by 10 but by the time they are 18 they connect " . Just then skydancer began to panic . Vanessa connected with her and she said " we got to leave he is here " Vanessa asked "who " Skydancer and Trevor replied together " the thunder breath " Vanessa looked at Trevor and he showed the machine to her . Vanessa told Skydancer " get us out of here girl " somehow skydancer seemed to be dreaming and looking at the thunderbreath Vanessa yanked at her and said " skydancer come on girl " skydancer snapped out of her trance and moved out through the cave and out before the thunderbreath could get to her and flew out right back to their place where the thunder breath dint follow . Trevor looked back and he hear the voice again " stay away all of you " Trevor asked Vanessa " what is it do here ?" Vanessa said " I have no idea it usually doesn't stay here . We have to warn everybody the mating place is not safe anymore " she contacted Valient and said " advertir a todos que no envíen sus dragones al valle de apareamiento ( warn everyone to not let their dragons go near the mating valley ) " Valient said ok and she cut her call . she flew back to their home . all the riders connected to their dragons and all of them flew back to the place . Trevor said " well in my personal view that was kinda fun " Vanessa replied " yeah it was" . they stayed quite for some time and then busted out laughing . Trevor said " can we check out anything else " Vanessa said " wanna know what is really called a ride " Trevor said " sure " Vanessa said " hold on " . Trevor put his hand around Vanessa and held on . Vanessa just smiled and shook her head and said " its ok you can hold me " she said s because she realized Trevor was trembling . he relaxed and Vanessa guided Skydancer to the forest and between the trees and that s when she spun and went up and down dodging the trees and finally came out and flew just slow right above a lake . Vanessa bent down a little and put her hand in the water and motioned Trevor to do the same and when he put his hand he felt the water to be slightly warm . Trevor asked " how " Vanessa replied " the dragons come hear to let off some steam and every time they come hear to wash up their bodies heat warms the water . its the same place where the waterfalls water comes till " Trevor just looked up and said " I've never seen anything so real yet magical " Vanessa pulled up skydancer's neck guiding her to pull up and she did while spinning in a vertical position and went above the clouds and slightly bent low showing and giving them a full view of both the ground and the clouds . Vanessa said " there is magic in everything , we have to just open our eyes to see it " .Trevor said " wow you really know how to live don't you? i just keep thinking about what is going to happen tomorrow " Vanessa let her hands rest on skydancers neck telling him to take control and replied " i just believe that no one knows whether we are going to be alive till tomorrow or not so i do what i want to do each day cause i believe we all need to seize the day and live till the fullest today " .Trevor looked forward and widened his eyes a little about how Vanessa saw goodness in everything and saw believed that goodness is always stronger than evil . they turned around and saw as the sun was setting it seemed to somehow put radiance on all of their homes . When they landed Trevor just removed his hands from Vanessa because he saw Valient waiting for them . They both descended from the dragon and Vanessa took skydancer to his stable and Trevor was left facing Valient . but the disturbing part was that Valient was staring at him with no expression . Trevor was wishing that he showed at least something and was hoping that someone comes to help him and he herd Morty and turned around relieved and saw that Morty had become good friends with Dave .
They both came with their hands on each other they saw him and Morty said " well it was fun hanging with you Dave it was fun " Dave patted his back and said to Trevor " your friend is really amazing with the computer and I had no idea that video games are fun . Thx a lot " Dave left them both alone and went next to Vanessa and started to talk to her . Trevor and Morty walked on with each other . Trevor asked him " you taught him to play video games " Morty said " yeah and he almost beat my high score " they both laughed and walked on Trevor said " hey I have to tell you something" Morty asked " is it about Vanessa ,come on " Trevor said " no , but come here " he whispered something in Morty's ear and when he finished Morty looked at him as if his eyes would pop out of his eyes and yelled " what " so loudly that everyone looked at him Trevor said " sorry " and pulled Morty and said " quiet what is wrong with you " Morty said in a low voice" well who else knows " Trevor said " no one ok so you this a secret " Morty said "ok " . They both did their secret handshake that is a backward handshake and kissed their hands and spit outside .
Dave suddenly asked " what was that about guys " they turned around suddenly and literally jumped out of their skins and said together" nothing" Dave said " ok , by the way Morty can I have some time with Trevor please " Morty said " yeah sure , I'm still working on trying to get Valient to talk to me " Morty winked at Trevor and left . Dave said " Trevor walk with me " Trevor nodded and smiled and joined Dave . Dave asked " well Vanessa told me that you could find your dragon in ours so don't worry ok " Trevor said " oh , I'm not worried at all "
Dave said " your not ?, Well most people are ,never mind so how is your friendship with the twins going on " Trevor said " oh well Vanessa's pretty close but I haven't been able to get along much with Valient " Dave said " well they are twins one is friendly and the other well not so much Valient dosent mix with anyone so don't bug yourself about it ok " Trevor nodded and said " yeah sure plus anyway I haven't had much time with him and we do have a language barrier with him " Dave stopped and said " what language barrier" Trevor said " well I can't speak Spanish and he can't speak English right " Dave smiled and said " sure Valient can speak English , he is more fluent than me and Vanessa " Trevor said " what he can " Dave said " I think he can't say no to talking to you so that's his way of not wanting to talk to you " Trevor said " ohh ok thx for that " Dave said "sure go on " Trevor ran looking for Valient and saw him go in the house and he went to his and Vanessa's room . Trevor followed him and suddenly burst open the door and yelled at Valient " you believe what your father was saying" Valient caught of guard with a shocked expression yelled back " please tell me I'm not in trouble" Trevor continued in a shocked voice " he said .." Trevor calmed and said in a pretty easy and calm voice " you can speak English" . Valient calmed and said " no , I can't " Trevor came near him and said " you just did there is no denying that " Valient got up and went down and Trevor followed asking g " why don't you want to talk to me " Valient said " stop bugging me ok please " Trevor persistent as he was said " not until I have a reason " Valient sighed and said " ok it's because you took away my only friend. Before you came I could hang with my sister but after you she is always with you she doesn't have time for me at all . So I don't like you " Trevor said " so why don't you hang with others, go on make some Friends" Valient rolled his eyes and said " how many friend do you think I have right now " Trevor said " dude just talk to people why you such an introvert ,well one day your sister is going to marry and maybe even move then what. Don't always be mean to everyone why you like that " Valient said " I'm not good at making friends or anything fun . All I do is ride and practice. The only fun I have is when my sister and I go for rides that's it " Trevor sat down and motioned him to sit and said " why do you have a reason for that " Valient said " well.. I'm kinda ... Shy and a little insecure . Ok a lot insecure " Trevor said " that's it , come on bro that's there in everyone ok so how about this I'll teach how to make friends ok but only if you agree to be friends with me and nice to everyone . Valient said " ok yeah , I'm cool with that " Trevor said " ok then I'll start by introducing myself ok . I'm Trevor I'm 27 and I'm in a place which I never have seen and I kninda want be friends. There now you " Valient said " ok I'm Valient . I'm 26 and I would love to be friends " Trevor said " good that's really good for a start now I'll give you some more lines and go ahead and start by saying hi to people out there ok . " Valient said " ok " . The rest of the day Trevor taught Valient how to talk and he turned out to be a great hit and he had a lot of stories to tell them so no one was bored . Plus Valient also helped Trevor to learn a little Spanish and that was really good bonding for both of them .
The next morning Trevor woke up Valient and asked him " dude are you scared of the thunder breath " Valient pulled Trevor outside the room and said " no , but why are you asking " Trevor just smiled and said " call your dragon I need your help " . A few moments later Valient and Trevor were flying on Chisler with Valient wearing a worried look and Trevor giving him direction looking at his device . Valient finally spoke up " are you sure about this " Trevor replied" Valient for the fifth time very sure just help me please " Valient said " I'll help but just I don't think what your planning is a good idea " Trevor smiled and said "trust me " . Trevor kept his gadget inside his bag and took off his bag and signaled for Valient to keep quite . Valient connected to Chisler and asked him to fly a little higher and soon they saw the thunder breath flying in front of them . Valient guided Chisler right above the thunder breath and kept quite . Trevor stood up on Chisler and said " well here goes nothing. As Chisler leveled with the thunder breath Trevor jumped down landing right on the thunder breath. He took the creature by surprise which was stunned for a moment about him suddenly jumping on it . But it regained and started to try and push him of his back Valient and chisler followed behind him . Trevor actually was using all his strength to hold on cause this dragon was spinning and doing everything to get him off he even had to hang on it's ears Every time it tried to brush him against the trees . Trevor held on and managed to reach the long neck of the dragon and tried to reach his head he heard the dragons thought " get the hell of my back , I'm not submitting to you " Trevor was wishingthat the dragon stops shaking him off cause he was starting to feel dizzy . He said to the dragon " I just want to talk I don't want you to submit to me " . The dragon kept on trying to shake him off and Trevor herd him speak " you expect me to believe that your my rider " Trevor managed to get to his head and placed his hand at the dragons head and said " if I'm not what makes you think I can communicate and hear your thoughts " . Suddenly the thunderbreath stopped shaking him off and slowly landed at a spot near the forest and put him down and said " ok i have to admit I don't know that but I don't take you as my rider yet ,prove that you are by placing your hand on my mark and I'll agree if not I will rip you apart " Trevor looked into it's eyes and said " fine " . "Trevor " he heard 2voices togetherfrom behind and turned around to see both Valient and Vanessa standing there with their dragons all of their eyes wide open although it looked like skydancer was rather dreaming staring at the thunderbreath . The dragon growled at the others and Trevor came and said " it's ok they are friends " . Vanessa still looking at the dragon asked Valient "en serio ustedes vinieron a domesticar este (seriously you guys came to tame this one) " Valient replied back " dijo que podía ( he said he can " Vanessa said "y le creíste ( and you believed him )" Valient just nadded and said "el dragón no parece lastimarlo ( the dragon dosent seem to hurt him )" Vanessa realised that it wasn't hurting Trevor .
Trevor moved his hand towards the dragons head and it closed it's eye and he kept his hand on it's head where he felt the scale move in and his hand burnt bringing the bond alive . Valient and Vanessa moved back a little until Trevor finally felt his hand stop burning. The dragon looked at his hand and said " you are my rider I bought ded with you " Trevor looked at him and said " I don't want to command you I rather want to befriend you " the dragon looked at him and connected some it looked like smiling at him and said " my name is Strom " Trevor said " and I'm Trevor" Strom pranced around and said " let's go for a ride buddy " Trevor started to explain" I can't ride ......yet " but before he could Strom threw him on his back and flew with trevor screaming " aaaah " Vanessa and Valient followed making sure Trevor dosent fall . Vanessa flew up near him and said " head down , back straight and hands on neck " Valient came beside him and said " be clear where you want him to go move you hand up when you indentend him to turn to any one side " Trevor followed their instructions and found that it was and worked pretty well he regained his balance and said " wow I'm flying with a dragon" Strom roared with happiness . Trevor asked " how do I connect" Valient replied " just concertrate and think of connecting " Trevor felt a little pain in his head and soon connected and asked Strom " teach me what to do to guide you for tricks " Strom replied " just connect and tell me " Trevor replied" let's spin and dunk " Strom spun going upwards and came down in full speed and pulled up at last moment and Trevor said " that was amazing" Trevor asked Strom " want to come to our home " Strom dint answer his eyes seemed to be fixed on Vanessa who was in front of them Strom asked Trevor " who is that " Trevor asked " who ?" Strom said " the one carrying the girl " Trevor replied " that's skydancer Vanessa's dragon " Strom said " she is amazing and beautiful" Trevor asked " I don't know how you guys decide but she sure is , do you like her " Strom " like is not the word do you think she feels the same way " Trevor said " I'll ask Vanessa and find out " storm replied " if she stays there them I'm coming along " Trevor said " ok " . She time Vanessa calmed skydancer and said " easy girl don't get too exicted about boys " . Valient came next to Trevor and fistbumped him and said " nice work dude you are amazing" Trevor smiled and said " couldn't have done it without you, thx for believing in me bud " Valient winked and followed him Vanessa was leading and as Valient caught up with her she asked Valient " Vi muchas cosas raras hoy, pero la más extraña es que ustedes son amigos ( I've seen a lot of weird thing today but most weird is you guys being friends)" . As everyone saw the thunder breath coming near the place they started to run but Trevor yelled " guys it's ok he won't hurt anyone " Dave came out of the house and looked at the dragon and said " are you sure Trevor " Trevor nodded and Dave looked at Vanessa and she said " papá Trevor es su jinete ( dad Trevor is it's rider )" Dave looked at Trevor and bowed to him saying " you are a true king and we all will be with you . Vanessa will train you with any weapon you like " Trevor stopped him and said " I guess you could teach me sir Vanessa needed a break anyway " Dave said " sure no problem " Vanessa looked at Trevor and he said " go for a ride with Valient , he has really been missing you " Vanessa smiled and Trevor motioned for Valient to go on and the two of them went and Trevor followed Dave .
Dave took Trevor inside a tent and showed him a set of guns and also a row of weapons around them and asked him " Chose any weapon you like , anything at all " . Trevor walked around and took a AK47 and a shotgun and put the shot gun back and also picked a small 9 mm pistol and looked at Dave and said " Teach me how to fire these and ..." he went over and picked a long spear and said " These too " . Dave smiled and led Trevor to the shooting range near the dragon stable opposite to the table . Trevor asked Dave " Wont the dragons be startled by the sound of the guns " . Dave responded saying " The stables are sound proof so no the dragons wont be startled by the sound also the range is also sound proof " . Trevor went in and stood at one of the stands . The shooting range was pretty big for what he could see . he stood there a target came up in front of him and Dave gave him a pair of earmuffs and gave him the pistol he had chosen and said " shoot " Trevor was pretty good in shooting as he had taken classes of shooting when he had goon sometimes near the army places to test his gadgets and some the officers had also given him tips as to how to shoot and he had enough strength to use the gun and hold it up straight . Dave saw him shoot the bulls eye and said " Good , you shoot pretty well . But my friend I have to say shooting while riding on a dragon is pretty difficult which you have to go with Vanessa to be good at " .Trevor nodded with a troubled expression , he was just getting good the flying already they wanted him to shoot while riding on Strom . He waited near the forest and looked up to see the twins come as they landed he got up .Valient looked him smiled and gave him a brotherly hug and led Chisler away after the dragon got a pat from Trevor on his snout . Vanessa asked him " Whats up " Trevor replied " Your father said that you can teach me how to shoot while riding a dragon so i was waiting for you to come back " Vanessa said " Call Strom and follow me come on " she climbed and Skydancer and they raised from the ground . Valient connected to Strom and as he came sky dancer stepped little back . Strom bent a little and sat on him . the fact was that Strom hated having a saddle on him so Trevor never did put one on him. The two of them took off and went near somewhere inside the forest and stopped at a clearing and Vanessa said pushed a button and said ." ride on Strom and guide him trough the trees and shoot the people whose holograms you can see . so you have to coordinate both your mind and your eyes together ok . " .Trevor nodded he got onto Strom and said " okay buddy lets do this " . The obstacle course was actually tougher than Trevor had expected so they were banging into trees and sometimes got shot by the holograms . Vanessa told them only one word every time they came back " again " . She went on saying it until Trevor asked " How many times exactly " . She just smiled and said " until you hit all the targets and don't get hit by any of them " . Trevor sighed and went again until finally Vanessa asked them to take a break " . they both flopped down on the grass . they had done it almost 20 times . Vanessa asked " did you by any chance ask Strom to blow a ball of thunder fire so that would exactly give you a chance to shoot the other guys " Trevor who was closing his eyes asked her in a groaning voice " Your telling me now that part " . Vanessa laughed and said " i thought you figured it out by now . she said " again " . Trevor grunted and got up and sat on Strom and connected to him and said " buddy fly with me and sometimes use your own way and if i cant get a guy you blow him down okay " . Strom replied back " I got your back " . Trevor and Strom went through the course again and this time when Trevor couldn't guide Strom . Strom took control of the flight and dodging the trees by himself .Every time Trevor dint get a person Strom blew his fire and they were out as they reached the end of the course Trevor connected to Strom and said " Bud fly a backward flip " . Strom understood what Trevor wanted . He stood up straight and flew with his wings backward and his face front and the two holograms which came at them one was shoot and the other was burnt by them both . They came and stopped in front of Vanessa and Skydancer and said " How about now " Vanessa said " good , now you have to do this everyday and the holograms position changes everyday and I'll make it a little darker the surrounding so that you have to use your ears to detect sounds and also your fighter senses " . Trevor looked at her with wide eyes and said " oh good lord " . Vanessa laughed and said " chill , well go by it one by one okay " . Trevor noticed that Vanessa was somehow scared of Strom so he said " Vanessa you got to get friendly with Strom " . she just smiled and shook her head saying " I'm no enemy , but I'm not going near him " . Trevor went close to her and said " don't worry he wont hurt you " . He took Vanessa's hand and put it out with her palm facing Strom and and pushed a little forward Vanessa's hand reached the snout of Strom and she closed her eyes and then Strom came forward by himself and put his snout near her palm and she slowly let out a breath and opened her eyes . she came a little closer to him and took his face in her hands and spoke to him " well your not as vicious as you seem your actually kind of sweet " Strom gave a small growl and put his face next to Vanessa snuggling next to her .Trevor stepped back next to Skydancer and asked her " you like him don't you girl " Skydancer hooted in response to him .
Vanessa stayed true to her promise and slowly helped Trevor to use his weapons to fight and also use the gun to aim correctly and to make sure to use all his senses even in cases of complete darkness . mostly Vanessa told him how to combine his and Storms eyesight so he can see what Strom could see . Valient showed him how to use his spear in combat and he practiced so much so that he could be equal to Dave in fighting and he and Strom took alone rides to make sure he could get better and they got to know a lot about each other as to why Strom became stray . Turns out Strom was and had the same life as Trevor his father was killed in battle along with his rider and his mother had died when he was about 8 when the people came to capture him and she stood against them to save him . After that he grew up without a rider mostly because he dint want to die with his rider and not want to mate because if he dies he dint want his mate to be all alone and so he never bound himself to anyone . Trevor took a lot of time in convincing him to take a chance with Skydancer and to trust him in this combat and that they will stop those who killed their family .Morty was always by their side and he had got closer to a lot of people in the town .
Destro went down a dark corridor and went all the way to the last cell . It was a dungeon with a pretty spacious for one person and it that cell there was a lady who sat with her legs chained to the wall . She looked a lot sick and tired for she hadn't eaten in days . But still her brown big eyes were enough to to kill anyone with one look . As she saw Destro she averted her eyes and said " what do you want now Destro " . Destro just walked to the front of her and pulled her head up and said " why do you starve yourself , be Happy your son is back and he finally ran away ." And he gave an ear piercing laughter the women snatched her face away from his grasp and looked away from him and said " he will be back and you will repent the day you put me in here " Destro looked at her and said " I Kno w that and I want him to come back so that I can kill him " and he walked away from her cell . She ran to the cell bars but the chains pulled her back so she screamed from I side the cell " how can you even think that , he is your family " the man just stopped and said " he is your son not mine " and he walked away . The women collapsed as the yelling and trying took a toll on her and she was very sick . She only ate what was necessary and that given to her by the guard of the prison who was their allies but couldn't free her . She just wanted to die but she knew her son would return to save them all . She knew her servant had kept him alive and that he would come for her . The hope of his return was what kept her alive .
At about dawn Strom managed to get bother Trevor and Morty back to the land of the riders . They were flying over the forest when he heard a familiar voice from the below within the trees and at once knew whose it was and he looked at Morty and Morty said " I think you have to apologize to her alone . Trevor nodded and he flew over to the camp . He basically presumed everyone to be mad at him but more of the people were more of relieved to see him there they flocked to him yelling at him more off for ditching them and later on literally hugging him being so happy that he was back . he slowly got away from them and went near Valient and looked at him . Valient started with " look Trevor I'm so sorry i shouldn't have said that about you and stuff . I am so ....." Trevor cut him short and said " Don't apologize buddy , it's not your fault I couldn't shoot him and I din't actually have it in me then . but Valient you made me realize that I can do more than I presumed I could do also anyone in your situation would have said the same thing . I'm sorry too that your dad got in trouble because of me . " . " I risked my life for our king , if you hadn't come back then my effort would have gone in vain ". Trevor looked behind Valient to see Dave come towards them . he came near Trevor and bowed to him Trevor bowed back to him and looked at him already recovering and walking . He was using a cane but he was fit enough . Trevor held him and said " thank you so much sir , you risked your life to save mine it is a lot you have done for me " Dave smiled and said " I know why you couldn't shoot him , I couldn't have done it myself I can't shoot my own king and I don't expect you to shoot your own father " Trevor smiled and said I think I know a loophole in that one " Valient piped in saying " Trevor but we have a more serious problem . The fact that the attack that day was just a distraction from what they really wanted " Trevor looked at him and asked "which is what ? " Valient hesitated and finally said " the egg jewel " Trevor looked at him and said " the pink egg kind of jewel which floats in the middle of the portrait room " Dave nodded sadly and said " Yes , that jewel is very powerful if it goes into the wrong hands it can destroy all of the world . The jewel controls the entire dragons minds and their freedom but if the eggs power can be possessed by any one person then that person can control all dragons according to his will . It threatens both human , rider and dragons life as they will do whatever the eggs power wants them to do without thinking about what the consequences can be and will listen to no rider but that person tirelessly " Trevor looked at all of them looking worried and said " then in that case we need more than a battle plan we need a strategy . And I think I have one " he looked at Valient and said " gather all the warriors and everyone we can spare , we need more than just warriors to win this battle . But first I got to go say something to someone " Valient looked at Trevor and said " She is in the forest near your practice ground go ahead , and hey don't mess with her " Trevor put his hands up and said in a jokingly manner " yes , sir " . He jumped on Strom and rode to the forest near the practice ground he just had to listen to a small roar to figure out as to where Vanessa was . He came all the way to the place until he saw Skydancer and a slender figure next to it . Strom came right in front of Vanessa and landed . Vanessa looked up to see Trevor getting down from the dragon smiling at her . She just looked at him and said " well din't expect you to come back but who am to judge dads vision " Trevor gave a weak smile and looked at Skydancer who turned around and put her tail at him . He nodded and said " well looks like you both are mad at me " .Vanessa looked at Skydancer and said " Yeah i am mad but not as much as sky is " Trevor looked at her and said " look I'm sorry I yelled at you I din't mean it " She nodded and said " Yeah I figured that part " Trevor continued " then what you mad at that I took Valient instead of you to get Strom " Vanessa laughed and said " No I figured you do that to " . Trevor looked at her and asked " ok , so what are you mad at" she looked at him and said " I am mad that you told Skydancer than you are not a hero " . Trevor just sighed and said " well consider the situations Vanessa , I din't do anything that was like a hero Vanessa said " well I don't know , you managed to get the Thunderbreath and make friends with it , you taught me how to be more than that much , you even made Valient the guy who was rude to everyone to like you and even the kids around here like you . you mastered weaponry in a few weeks . If that is not heroic then I don't know what you call being a hero . " Trevor just looked away from her she came closer and pulled his face to face her and said " Trevor you cant be a hero if you don't believe you are . A hero is not someone who saves a damsel in distress he is someone who shows the damsel how to save herself . And you did that you showed everyone in there that they can fight for themselves and din't need you to save them . I don't know about you but to me that is really heroic for me and I would follow a person like that anywhere and into any battle because I know that he is right " Trevor said " well then I can't let people who trust me so much down but we need need to fight with brains and not might and I have a sneaky little plan and a way to get all people we need for this to work . You in or not " Vanessa came a little more closer and hugged him and said " always by you side " Trevor just gave her a weird look to her when they broke away . she looked at him and said " what , I just wanted to do that " Trevor gave her a cheeky look and said " Really , just wanted to do that " Vanessa she looked back at him with squinted eyes and said " hey don't go reading to much into that ok , and if you tell Valient or dad I will chock you " Trevor looked at her and said " yeah don't worry that is not something I want to share especially when I don't know what I in an agitated manner am supposed to make out of it " Vanessa said " well how about a friendly hug as you are not into girlfriends and I am so not looking to date at the moment " Trevor said " yeah that's cool ".
Vanessa looked at him and said " You still got to apologize to Skydancer . " she turned around to look at the dragon still pouting and as Trevor went to the front of sky she looked away . Trevor looked at Vanessa and she just shrugged while rubbing Storm's snout . Trevor said " pk fine , i know you are mad but come on are you gonna pout like that all the time at me " she just blew her nostrils in an agitated manner so Trevor continued " ok fine I am sorry and i'll try to be the person that you intend me to be , I promise " Skydancer finally looked at him and put her snout down into his hands and he patted it and fist bumped it . he came near Strom and sat on him and said " lets go " Vanessa mounted hers and they flew towards their camp .
" So whats the plan are we going to charge at them " Valient asked Trevor. All had gathered in the conference room and listening and giving ideas as to how to go about in defeating Destro . Trevor shook his head and said " No if we just charge at them we all will be dead in minutes if the people who attacked us are only there for a distraction then I don't even want to try and imagine their actual force and us attacking face front is not a good idea ." . Vanessa asked " then what do you propose what should we do " Trevor said we need a larger force to attack and that can only happen if we can release the people stuck inside . we have allies who are imprisoned in the dungeons and people who still live under his control . we have to get inside the castle " One of the warriors asked " how there is no way we can get in without being noticed by the guards and they are loyal to whoever sits on the throne and they wont let us get in and maybe even kill us " . Trevor said " I know that they wont let us in but we do have some people who may help us in getting in . " Trevor turned to Dave and asked " Do you know anybody known as Creech ?" Dave's eyes widened and said " you mean the old prison guard . Yes , he still works there . But the problem is that he is faithful to the king I am not sure he will help us " Trevor gave a sly smile and asked " did he say he is loyal to the throne or to the king ? " Dave looked and said " he always said he dint care who was on the throne he would serve the rightful king . Your dad " Trevor smiled and replied and said "Then no one knows the truth , tell him what I'm about to tell you and trust me he will help . Also who has the keys to the dungeon cells " . Vanessa replied " I'm sure Destro would not give the key to the cell to the old guard as the old guard might also be kind enough to free people from time to time . I'm guessing on one of the dragons neck " Trevor looked at the keepers and asked " anyone who can get close enough without getting blazed . anyone who has an idea how " One of the keepers said " well dragons are usually attracted to fire or anything sparkling if one can keep the dragon distracted then I think I can manage to get the keys from its neck " Trevor nodded and said "Fine you get the keys and take any two keepers with you and one warrior . Also Dave sir we are gonna need you to brief us on the castle do you have anyone who might have a present blueprint of the castle . " Dave replied " I have a few allies who work under Destro who are rebels and they want freedom from that tyrant so bad they will risk their life for it " Trevor nodded and said " well sir send a message to them to send a blueprint with all the floors marked and also send my message to Creech we will need his help a lot in this battle " . Dave and all bowed to hi and Trevor said finally " tomorrow same time same place I will assign everyone their role and who has to do what . He will never even see it coming " .
The next day Dave received his letters from the raven he had sent to Creech as they had not taken the risk of email as Destro may have tapped their phones . Creech and his friends had sent him a blueprint of the palace and also marked the places they can come in through and also as to where the keys were kept and it turned out that Vanessa was right and the keys had been kept on the neck of the queens dragon . Also they had sent the message that the queen was alive Trevor looked over the blueprint and at the meeting he started assigning everyone their jobs " Vanessa you and team A are in charge of the prisoners release get inside the dungeons and wait for the keys they will come to you and also stay i n formation and don't forget to knock out the guards and use sleeping gas ok " Vanessa nodded but asked " how are we going to get in there ?" Trevor replied " Creech will get you in as the guards your costumes will be ready and you can get in just stay in character ok " Vanessa nodded . Trevor turned to Valient and said " Valient you and team B are in charge of getting the palace guards out and letting everyone inside and be careful and wait for the signal before opening the gates for the warriors to come in . Also put down all the guys guarding them . ok " Valient replied " done and done " Trevor turned to Ceaser one of the keepers and said " Ceaser you and team C will get the key for the others to get the others out and also keep the dragons preoccupied before the Riders get to them and don't be scared ok i trust you can do this " He said so because Ceaser was trembling and also shaking . But he nodded and then Trevor spoke to Tina one of the healers " Mam you are the one person who knows the the place very well you and team D gather all those who are still loyal to the true king and stay ready for battle and spread the messages and get also those who are still weak out of here mostly kids and women who cant fight ok " Tina nodded she knew the passage that can get everyone out of there without causing any problems and casualties . Trevor turned to Dave and said " Sir you and I have a special purpose and role we have to find the egg jewel and also create a decoy and a real egg " Dave nodded and Trevor finally said " ok everyone we have one month to get everything ready ok lets go everyone hurry up and lets go " . The next 2 weeks were spent on getting costume sand weapons and the guns ready and later on everyone put up a kind of rehearsal of the plan .
Destro walked all the way to a large court room and stood near the mirror and looked at his reflection he wore a black Armour kind of tight upper body shirt and black pants he wore a red robe around him he just closed his eyes and remembered all the things he had done to reach what he was today . he remembered setting the place on fire and then faking his death , killing his brother and then finally deceiving and imprisoning the queen. As he was thinking he heard a female voice behind him and he turned to see a girl walk in and say " I don't like what you did to my brother . Why would you hurt your own people and tell them things like that and what wrong did the queen do to you that you keep her in that cell " Destro went close to her and said " Shut your tiny little mouth . You don't know what power is or what we can achieve with power ." The girl retorted back " But what you are doing ......"
"SILENCE , " Destro's voice cut her off and he said " keep quite or you will join her and i wont think if you are my daughter or not " . Destro stormed out the girl sat on the floor . She din't like what her father was doing but she din't have enough guts to talk back to him so she usually shut up and nodded her head all the time . She used to go to the dungeons and make sure the queen was ok but she din't dare to free her . All she wanted was to go away from the place . She also hadn't gone riding on her dragon for years now and practically speaking she was also waiting for her brother to stop this .
" and you are sure of this Creech " Creech walked with Destro as Destro was pondering and Creech replied to him " Yes sir , in a way I am betraying the queen but I am sure that you are the rightful king and i must be loyal to you , the boy has decided to attack tomorrow " Destro looked at him and said " and how big is his force ?" Creech relied " a lot. also he has joined hands with the other clans and maybe increased in number" Destro said to one of the guards " order for more weapons and make it quick by tomorrow and Creech you will bring the weapons wagon and no one else ok " Creech bowed to him and moved on .
Trevor received letters from all the clans and they had all agreed to help him and be with him to rid off the tyrant and he was reading their responses . Dave had told him that there with other clans too who were in riding and they will be ready to help them in fighting they would come in when the gates were opened for them . Trevor even though reading good news looked a little nervous . Vanessa came in with few more letters and looked at Trevor's expression and sat near him and asked " You ok compañero " Trevor said " Yeah its just I don't want to kill him you know i mean he is family after all " Vanessa replied " When you say it like that none of us want that but we all make a choice and so did you " Trevor asked " Yes but how do you know that's the right choice " Vanessa smiled and said " When time comes you will know , Trust me " She just kissed him on this forehead and said " for good luck "then got up and left . Trevor nodded to himself and got up to get ready .
The next day Creech drove a carriage to the front the castle door of Destro the carriage was a color of blue and green with the crest of a dragon on it this was mainly used to get weaponry and important packages into the castle and hence this was horse drawn carriages and hence it was a closed compartment kind of box and the guard seeing it was him let him in without asking any questions and as soon as they reached an empty place behind the castle where no one could see them he quickly went to the back of the carriage and knocked on it 3 times the 2 doors of the carriage opened and a bunch 12 people came out all dressed in the red suits which Destro's soldiers wore and only 4 of them dressed in green long robes. Creech quickly explained to them " Ok listen the dungeons prison is on the top tower and the stables are underground and the gates are on that side of the place wait for the signal i will give it to you and the egg is kept in the safe room i will lead you guys there ok lets go everyone " the 4 of them in robes quickly went to the right of the the castle and took a poised stance and walked towards the stables entrance that Creech had directed them to go . they quickly found the wooden doors and went near the number pad and dialed in a secret number and the doors opened for them and they went in and they had to go down a few steps and hence when they reached at the bottom of the stairs it was pitch black but as they took a few steps front one of the guys lit his flaming knife and that gave them some light Ceaser and the others walked ahead and saw there was a long line of torches and he lit one of it and saw that on either side were dragons . They looked more ferocious and frustrated than the dragons in their home back . Ceaser looked at them snapping against the cages they were put in and said " These must be the prisoners dragons and haven't seen light for a long time that makes them scared and ferocious . " The dragons of the other riders who were soldiers for Destro were kept in a stable above and in light and hence they were in good form . But these dragons had not connected and flown for a long time so were tired and scared due to the lack of light and also they weren't given much to eat either . The 4 of them continued till they reached a cage in which a shreadwinger sat pretty much sadly and on its neck was a key golden in color and pretty big for one door . One of the keepers asked Ceaser " how only one key for all the dungeons " Ceaser replied " One master key for all the prison doors , Brilliant " . As they neared the cage the dragon looked and roared at them and tried to snap at them and moved back . Ceaser nodded to one of the guy and he held the sword and flamed it up and moved the sword side to side the dragon came forward staring at the flaming sword and kept staring at it and soon it came forward pretty close to them . Ceaser sat on his knees and tried to reach to the key which dangled on its collar but he couldn't reach as it was still covering the key with its neck . Ceaser slowly said" raise the sword a little higher I can't reach yet ". the guy with the sword held it a little higher . The dragon lifted its neck and Ceaser reached a little more further and grabbed the hook of the neck of the dragon and slowly moved back and after he was away a few distance then they turned of the flame of the sword . The dragon cowered again after breaking away from its trance .
Ceaser looked around and said " I think the cages need a kind of password lock to open them " . He saw a number pad at the entrance and one next to the wall at the bottom of the stairs . As they turned to leave a man with the same green robe stood at the entrance and asked " What are you guys doing here , and why do you have the key ? " Before he could understand the situation and decided to run one of the guys shot an arrow at his foot as he fell they caught him and Ceaser kept a knife at his neck and asked " What is the password number ?" . The guy mumbled in a terrified voice " 3849" . Ceaser nodded to the guy holding the guy and he pushed a dart in his neck and the guy fainted . Ceaser went out side and looked around to see and make sure that no one was there and he whistled and a bluebird came and sat on his hand he wrote a small number and what it was for on a piece of cloth he tore off and wrapped it around the key and gave it to the bird and let it fly the bird carried the key with it till it reached a small window on the top floor .
Vanessa and 3 other marksman riders had almost reached the top floor they kept on running and killing the guards on their way to the top as they reached a window on the wall on the way 4 guards came in their way the riders behind her shot 2 of then and Vanessa shot one and as the other came at her she pushed a knife in his gut and killed him and as she went near the window the bird threw the key inside the window . Vanessa caught it and yelled " Thanks Horus " and the bird screeched back in response . As she reached the floor on where the prisons were located and she just peeked a little to see how many guards were there . She put up her hand and indicated her warriors to stop and that there were guards with guns . She just made a small move making noise and one of the guys came to check and as he reached close enough to the wall behind which they were hiding they pulled him inside and twisted his neck and killed him she signaled her friends and all the three of them took positions and slid on the floor on their knees and started shooting and put down all the guards who were standing guarding the cells . As the last one fell Vanessa ran through the cells path way looking for the queen . the cells were on either sides of a long corridor which was a straight line . Vanessa kept going to find the queen and stopped outside a cell she recognized the pin on the hair of the queen and went near the cell and said " your majesty " The lady turned to see who it was and as she saw the girl next to her she asked " Who are you " Vanessa opened the cell door and said " I am Vanessa daughter of Dave " Trix ( the queen ) came out and looked at Vanessa and the other . all three of them went down on their knees and bowed to her she nodded at them and said " I had no idea that Ana gave birth to such beautiful daughter " Vanessa smiled and said " WE have to free the others " Trix nodded and took the key from her and went to one place near the wall and pushed open a circular cover hiding the lock and put the key in it and turned it and all the cells clicked open . She looked at Vanessa and said " It was Destro way of making me fell bad that i couldn't unlock the cells in spite of knowing where the lock is " . Vanessa told Tina " Your son is here he asked me to get all of you out so all of you should come with me " Trix nodded and everyone followed them to the ground where they met Tina waiting for them and Vanessa said " ok all those who cant fight and kids follow Tina she will lead you out and rest of you have to go to the weapons shed and grab any thing you want . ok " Vanessa looked at the queen and said " You should go with Tina your highness " Trix waved it off and said " I am not running when my people are in danger " Vanessa nodded and took everyone to the weapons shed and they all picked whatever they could use guns swords and spears . Though they had been locked up they had maintained their strength . Then they dashed to the GPS signal that Ceaser had sent them and reached the shed and they went down the shed and pushed the number and the cages opened and the riders quickly ran to their dragons and connected again . Trix ran to the shreadwinger and connected . The dragon calmed down and put its head near her forehead . Trix said " Everyone mount your dragons time to fight back "
Vanessa spoke into her earpiece and signaled Valient saying " Warriors ready " Valient and the others with him who were blending with the other soldiers pulled out their weapons and shot all the guards near them dead and Valient went towards the leaver and pulled one which opened the gates and the second lever opened the bullet proof glass barricade on the top of the castle which could let the dragons and their riders come in and he finally went to a pad and pushed a few buttons and then went next to one of the guards and cut off one of his fingers and put it on the keypad and the the device which was actually a fingerprint scanner and it opened and disabled the camouflage of the castle and spoke into his earpiece and said " Walls down , " .
Trevor replied " Copy that , everyone stay on standby . " Trevor , Dave and Creech were near the room where the jewel was kept . There was laser protecting it and also 3 guards and their dragons protecting them . Trevor nodded to Creech and Dave and they all threw gas cans inside which gave out a kind of sleeping gas . and within a few seconds all the guards and their dragons were fast asleep . Then before they could go in Trevor replied to Morty " Morty , time to work your magic . Lets see your hacking skills " . Back at the village Morty sat in front of a computer and quickly typed in a bunch of buttons and said " You guys are now invisible and your welcome " . Trevor smiled and said "I owe you one dude " Morty replied " Actually you owe me two " . Trevor smiled to himself and went in he saw the laser's and asked Morty " What about this dude " Morty replied back " Just a moment " and with a few more tapping he disabled the shield and Trevor carefully removed the jewel and took out a fake one and kept it in the real ones place and put the jewel in a holder and placed it in his backpack and gave it to Creech and he said "Morty turn the laser back on " and they scooted out of there . On their way they met Tina and the rest of them and Tina took all of them to the hall and removed a few stones from a place in the wall and said " ok everyone get in quick " and as the last one went in Tina went in the last one and before going said " Good luck you guys and please cover this place before you all leave ." Trevor nodded and as Tina went in they quickly replaced the stones back in their place and left .
Destro sat on a chair in his balcony looking at the sky for he was sure that was how they would attack from the top as it was the only way that was beneficial for them . The more he looked at the sky the more uneasy he started to feel as though he was missing something he knew they would attack but why hadn't they done it yet . He suddenly got up and went to his daughters room and looked at her and asked " Did anyone come here " she looked up at him from her bed . She was wearing a long blue flowing gown which was light green at the sleeves and at the end of the dress . She replied simply " Not even a fly is allowed to come in here " . He just nodded and went out of the room he called two guards and said " Guard this door no one should come in or even leave this room . Got it " The guard bowed in agreement and stood outside the door . Destro walked looking for Creech and one of the guards spoke into his ear piece " Creech he coming to look for you " .
Creech stopped and told the other two " Time to separate " . Trevor looked at Creech and said " Okay lets go . Thank you Creech " Creech smiled and threw his backpack to Dave and said " Buena suerte mis amigos ( good luck my friends ) " . He quickly walked away in the opposite direction in a normal way in order to meet Destro . Destro finally caught up with Creech and said " Did you bring the weapons " Creech bowed to him and said " Yes , my king I did " . Destro replied looking away " Well you said that he would come but he still hasn't " Creech " My lord I am sure and heard that he would so I told you so " Destro kept his hand on Creech and said " Well this can mean that they are already inside and this can only mean that .. " He looked at Creech and said " You brought them inside and betrayed me " . Without a moments notice he drove a sword right through Creech . Creech who was already old felt the sword through him like a big blow . He gasped and staggered back a little bit and then he fell . Destro looked at him and said " Why would you betray your king Creech ?" Creech replied in a weak voice " You are not my king and I am serving the rightful king " Destro just smiled went close to him and said " You stupid old man " and pushed the sword through him one more time and pulled it out and went to where he knew the boy would have gone and he asked two of his guards on the way to join him .
Trevor heard Creech gasp and tell what he had told Destro and he quickly Started to run back to where Creech was . Dave stopped him and said " Are you crazy ? If Destro finds you are good as dead " Trevor said " I am not leaving him behind to die " Trevor freed himself from Dave s hold and ran back Dave followed him screaming " Trevor , don't get emotional now " . Trevor without listening ran without looking back at all all the way till he reached Creech and saw two guards next to him and fired at both of them and ran and sat next to Creech who was panting and almost dying . Trevor supported his head and looked at him and put pressure on his wound and said " Hold on Creech we got you " Creech pulled him closer and said " I din't see and make sure he din't find you so that you can come back and get yourself killed boy " Trevor almost at the verge of tears said " I couldn't leave you to die Creech . I'm not letting you die " Creech took Trevor's hand and kept his forehead on his hand and said " My king you have returned . You do have the qualities of your father you never leave anyone to die just like that . but you have to leave boy now " .
Destro reached the room where the egg was kept and saw it still in place and the guards and their dragons unconscious and went towards the egg and typed a password into a keypad next to the laser shield and the laser went off . Destro picked up the egg and looked at it . The guard said " Looks alright to me my lord " Destro threw the jewel into the wall and it broke into pieces and he looked at the guard in a dreadful way and said " If it was the real jewel then the wall would have broken and not the jewel got it " He looked at the unconscious guards and barked at the other two " Wake them both up and ask them what happened " The guard ran up to the other two and asked them " what the hell happened " One of the guards woke up and said " No idea suddenly three canisters came in and gave out gas and then we fell asleep I think " Destro looked at him and said " You think ? " He walked out and motioned to the two guards and they nodded and cut the throat of the guards who were unconscious and followed Destro and he commanded the guards " Tell everyone to find that boy and to suit up and be ready we are gonna have an attack " when he finished he heard two gun shots and ran to the place from where he had heard the gun shot from when he reached the place he saw Trevor sitting next to Creech and smirked and said " Hello boy was looking for you " Dave quickly told Trevor " Run , Now go " Trevor told Dave " Get Creech out of here " Dave nodded and threw the bag pack to Trevor and said " Now go " . Trevor wore the bag and ran through the place to where ever he found a place to go Destro yelled at his guards and said " Kill these two the boy is mine " and followed Trevor . Trevor ran took out his guns and shot anyone who tried to stop him and anyone who came in his way he got caught with one guy who caught his leg he just put his gun on his head and shot the guy and continued to run until he heard and felt bullets flying at him and saw that Destro was firing at him and he yelled " Damn it , dude " . Trevor quickly made a right turn and ran he had memorized the floor plan and knew where he was going . finally he reached the end of a balcony with the railings he suddenly ducked and a bullet flew past him and hit the railing he turned around and faced Destro and Destro pointed his gun at Trevor and said " No where to run son you are at the dead end " Trevor looked down and then started laughing so much that tears came out of his eyes . Destro looked at him wondering if Trevor had gone mad . This guy was laughing when a gun was pointed at him and a while later Destro lost it and asked him " What are you laughing at ? " Trevor controlled himself and said " At the fact that you are my father , that was really funny " Destro said " I am your father " Trevor looked at him and said " No you are not my dad , and we both know that don't we uncle Benjamin " Destro looked on in shock , how on earth did this boy know that . As though Trevor could read his mind he said " How do i know that well to start off . i did believe you were my father when I saw the portrait and well you are my dad's twin so you look like him but how would i know you may ask " Trevor pulled out a locket from inside his suit and opened it a the and said " The details are in the eyes . " Trevor closed the locket and continued " Well I must say you are pretty smart to fake your car explosion accident and also nice move in switching the painting of my parents which you gave to the people with yours so that they would believe that you were king . But guess mom saw through you she made sure I had a part of them to know who they really are so i did a little family history check on you . Well when you sell weapons to the army you will obviously have a profile of your own on the net . So i figured the only difference between you and my dad are your eyes , you have green ones and my dad had black eyes just like I do .well that' s about it " Destro lowered his gun and looked at him and said " Well very impressive Trevor you were smarter than your parents you figured it all out ." Trevor looked at him and said now your turn , Why would you do this to your own people and your family who loved you and trusted you " Destro looked at him and scoffed and said " Loved me , what are you talking about " He locked his gun and pointed at Trevor and said " You know I almost thought of sparing your life until you used that statement . The same thing that your father use to use . From the moment I was born I was always second in everything In strength , in wisdom and even in ruling . My parents always though my perfect brother was so good at everything that he would be the one who would raise our kingdom and business to greatness and help save the world from problems and stuff . So in spite of me being older by 2 minutes he became the king . And to top it all off he got your mother she liked him and they got married . My problem was that your father took everything from me so i just repaid him back everything . I should have killed you but i could't so now I can finally get rid of you as well . just like i rid myself of my wife who could't give me what your mother would give me well at least she gave me a heir . That was all I needed her to do . And now you have nowhere to run " Trevor turned and moved to end of the balcony and climbed on the railing and before Destro understood what was happening Trevor said " Who said anything about running " He just waved a bye and fell backwards from the railing . Destro screamed and yelled "NO " and ran to see if the egg was still ok " But he fell back when Strom swooped up with Trevor on his back Destro looked at Trevor on the thunder breath and said " Impossible " . Trevor nodded to Strom and Strom blew a thunder ball onto the ring which was on top and Valient said " That is the signal people " and That's when Destro saw the entire clans come in and looked at Trevor and asked " How and why are they following you " Trevor smiled and said " It takes more than just power to win peoples trust which you will never understand " .
The next morning Trevor woke up Valient and asked him " dude are you scared of the thunder breath " Valient pulled Trevor outside the room and said " no , but why are you asking " Trevor just smiled and said " call your dragon I need your help " . A few moments later Valient and Trevor were flying on Chisler with Valient wearing a worried look and Trevor giving him direction looking at his device . Valient finally spoke up " are you sure about this " Trevor replied" Valient for the fifth time very sure just help me please " Valient said " I'll help but just I don't think what your planning is a good idea " Trevor smiled and said "trust me " . Trevor kept his gadget inside his bag and took off his bag and signaled for Valient to keep quite . Valient connected to Chisler and asked him to fly a little higher and soon they saw the thunder breath flying in front of them . Valient guided Chisler right above the thunder breath and kept quite . Trevor stood up on Chisler and said " well here goes nothing. As Chisler leveled with the thunder breath Trevor jumped down landing right on the thunder breath. He took the creature by surprise which was stunned for a moment about him suddenly jumping on it . But it regained and started to try and push him of his back Valient and chisler followed behind him . Trevor actually was using all his strength to hold on cause this dragon was spinning and doing everything to get him off he even had to hang on it's ears Every time it tried to brush him against the trees . Trevor held on and managed to reach the long neck of the dragon and tried to reach his head he heard the dragons thought " get the hell of my back , I'm not submitting to you " Trevor was wishingthat the dragon stops shaking him off cause he was starting to feel dizzy . He said to the dragon " I just want to talk I don't want you to submit to me " . The dragon kept on trying to shake him off and Trevor herd him speak " you expect me to believe that your my rider " Trevor managed to get to his head and placed his hand at the dragons head and said " if I'm not what makes you think I can communicate and hear your thoughts " . Suddenly the thunderbreath stopped shaking him off and slowly landed at a spot near the forest and put him down and said " ok i have to admit I don't know that but I don't take you as my rider yet ,prove that you are by placing your hand on my mark and I'll agree if not I will rip you apart " Trevor looked into it's eyes and said " fine " . "Trevor " he heard 2voices togetherfrom behind and turned around to see both Valient and Vanessa standing there with their dragons all of their eyes wide open although it looked like skydancer was rather dreaming staring at the thunderbreath . The dragon growled at the others and Trevor came and said " it's ok they are friends " . Vanessa still looking at the dragon asked Valient "en serio ustedes vinieron a domesticar este (seriously you guys came to tame this one) " Valient replied back " dijo que podía ( he said he can " Vanessa said "y le creíste ( and you believed him )" Valient just nadded and said "el dragón no parece lastimarlo ( the dragon dosent seem to hurt him )" Vanessa realised that it wasn't hurting Trevor .
Trevor moved his hand towards the dragons head and it closed it's eye and he kept his hand on it's head where he felt the scale move in and his hand burnt bringing the bond alive . Valient and Vanessa moved back a little until Trevor finally felt his hand stop burning. The dragon looked at his hand and said " you are my rider I bought ded with you " Trevor looked at him and said " I don't want to command you I rather want to befriend you " the dragon looked at him and connected some it looked like smiling at him and said " my name is Strom " Trevor said " and I'm Trevor" Strom pranced around and said " let's go for a ride buddy " Trevor started to explain" I can't ride ......yet " but before he could Strom threw him on his back and flew with trevor screaming " aaaah " Vanessa and Valient followed making sure Trevor dosent fall . Vanessa flew up near him and said " head down , back straight and hands on neck " Valient came beside him and said " be clear where you want him to go move you hand up when you indentend him to turn to any one side " Trevor followed their instructions and found that it was and worked pretty well he regained his balance and said " wow I'm flying with a dragon" Strom roared with happiness . Trevor asked " how do I connect" Valient replied " just concertrate and think of connecting " Trevor felt a little pain in his head and soon connected and asked Strom " teach me what to do to guide you for tricks " Strom replied " just connect and tell me " Trevor replied" let's spin and dunk " Strom spun going upwards and came down in full speed and pulled up at last moment and Trevor said " that was amazing" Trevor asked Strom " want to come to our home " Strom dint answer his eyes seemed to be fixed on Vanessa who was in front of them Strom asked Trevor " who is that " Trevor asked " who ?" Strom said " the one carrying the girl " Trevor replied " that's skydancer Vanessa's dragon " Strom said " she is amazing and beautiful" Trevor asked " I don't know how you guys decide but she sure is , do you like her " Strom " like is not the word do you think she feels the same way " Trevor said " I'll ask Vanessa and find out " storm replied " if she stays there them I'm coming along " Trevor said " ok " . She time Vanessa calmed skydancer and said " easy girl don't get too exicted about boys " . Valient came next to Trevor and fistbumped him and said " nice work dude you are amazing" Trevor smiled and said " couldn't have done it without you, thx for believing in me bud " Valient winked and followed him Vanessa was leading and as Valient caught up with her she asked Valient " Vi muchas cosas raras hoy, pero la más extraña es que ustedes son amigos ( I've seen a lot of weird thing today but most weird is you guys being friends)" . As everyone saw the thunder breath coming near the place they started to run but Trevor yelled " guys it's ok he won't hurt anyone " Dave came out of the house and looked at the dragon and said " are you sure Trevor " Trevor nodded and Dave looked at Vanessa and she said " papá Trevor es su jinete ( dad Trevor is it's rider )" Dave looked at Trevor and bowed to him saying " you are a true king and we all will be with you . Vanessa will train you with any weapon you like " Trevor stopped him and said " I guess you could teach me sir Vanessa needed a break anyway " Dave said " sure no problem " Vanessa looked at Trevor and he said " go for a ride with Valient , he has really been missing you " Vanessa smiled and Trevor motioned for Valient to go on and the two of them went and Trevor followed Dave .
Dave took Trevor inside a tent and showed him a set of guns and also a row of weapons around them and asked him " Chose any weapon you like , anything at all " . Trevor walked around and took a AK47 and a shotgun and put the shot gun back and also picked a small 9 mm pistol and looked at Dave and said " Teach me how to fire these and ..." he went over and picked a long spear and said " These too " . Dave smiled and led Trevor to the shooting range near the dragon stable opposite to the table . Trevor asked Dave " Wont the dragons be startled by the sound of the guns " . Dave responded saying " The stables are sound proof so no the dragons wont be startled by the sound also the range is also sound proof " . Trevor went in and stood at one of the stands . The shooting range was pretty big for what he could see . he stood there a target came up in front of him and Dave gave him a pair of earmuffs and gave him the pistol he had chosen and said " shoot " Trevor was pretty good in shooting as he had taken classes of shooting when he had goon sometimes near the army places to test his gadgets and some the officers had also given him tips as to how to shoot and he had enough strength to use the gun and hold it up straight . Dave saw him shoot the bulls eye and said " Good , you shoot pretty well . But my friend I have to say shooting while riding on a dragon is pretty difficult which you have to go with Vanessa to be good at " .Trevor nodded with a troubled expression , he was just getting good the flying already they wanted him to shoot while riding on Strom . He waited near the forest and looked up to see the twins come as they landed he got up .Valient looked him smiled and gave him a brotherly hug and led Chisler away after the dragon got a pat from Trevor on his snout . Vanessa asked him " Whats up " Trevor replied " Your father said that you can teach me how to shoot while riding a dragon so i was waiting for you to come back " Vanessa said " Call Strom and follow me come on " she climbed and Skydancer and they raised from the ground . Valient connected to Strom and as he came sky dancer stepped little back . Strom bent a little and sat on him . the fact was that Strom hated having a saddle on him so Trevor never did put one on him. The two of them took off and went near somewhere inside the forest and stopped at a clearing and Vanessa said pushed a button and said ." ride on Strom and guide him trough the trees and shoot the people whose holograms you can see . so you have to coordinate both your mind and your eyes together ok . " .Trevor nodded he got onto Strom and said " okay buddy lets do this " . The obstacle course was actually tougher than Trevor had expected so they were banging into trees and sometimes got shot by the holograms . Vanessa told them only one word every time they came back " again " . She went on saying it until Trevor asked " How many times exactly " . She just smiled and said " until you hit all the targets and don't get hit by any of them " . Trevor sighed and went again until finally Vanessa asked them to take a break " . they both flopped down on the grass . they had done it almost 20 times . Vanessa asked " did you by any chance ask Strom to blow a ball of thunder fire so that would exactly give you a chance to shoot the other guys " Trevor who was closing his eyes asked her in a groaning voice " Your telling me now that part " . Vanessa laughed and said " i thought you figured it out by now . she said " again " . Trevor grunted and got up and sat on Strom and connected to him and said " buddy fly with me and sometimes use your own way and if i cant get a guy you blow him down okay " . Strom replied back " I got your back " . Trevor and Strom went through the course again and this time when Trevor couldn't guide Strom . Strom took control of the flight and dodging the trees by himself .Every time Trevor dint get a person Strom blew his fire and they were out as they reached the end of the course Trevor connected to Strom and said " Bud fly a backward flip " . Strom understood what Trevor wanted . He stood up straight and flew with his wings backward and his face front and the two holograms which came at them one was shoot and the other was burnt by them both . They came and stopped in front of Vanessa and Skydancer and said " How about now " Vanessa said " good , now you have to do this everyday and the holograms position changes everyday and I'll make it a little darker the surrounding so that you have to use your ears to detect sounds and also your fighter senses " . Trevor looked at her with wide eyes and said " oh good lord " . Vanessa laughed and said " chill , well go by it one by one okay " . Trevor noticed that Vanessa was somehow scared of Strom so he said " Vanessa you got to get friendly with Strom " . she just smiled and shook her head saying " I'm no enemy , but I'm not going near him " . Trevor went close to her and said " don't worry he wont hurt you " . He took Vanessa's hand and put it out with her palm facing Strom and and pushed a little forward Vanessa's hand reached the snout of Strom and she closed her eyes and then Strom came forward by himself and put his snout near her palm and she slowly let out a breath and opened her eyes . she came a little closer to him and took his face in her hands and spoke to him " well your not as vicious as you seem your actually kind of sweet " Strom gave a small growl and put his face next to Vanessa snuggling next to her .Trevor stepped back next to Skydancer and asked her " you like him don't you girl " Skydancer hooted in response to him .
Vanessa stayed true to her promise and slowly helped Trevor to use his weapons to fight and also use the gun to aim correctly and to make sure to use all his senses even in cases of complete darkness . mostly Vanessa told him how to combine his and Storms eyesight so he can see what Strom could see . Valient showed him how to use his spear in combat and he practiced so much so that he could be equal to Dave in fighting and he and Strom took alone rides to make sure he could get better and they got to know a lot about each other as to why Strom became stray . Turns out Strom was and had the same life as Trevor his father was killed in battle along with his rider and his mother had died when he was about 8 when the people came to capture him and she stood against them to save him . After that he grew up without a rider mostly because he dint want to die with his rider and not want to mate because if he dies he dint want his mate to be all alone and so he never bound himself to anyone . Trevor took a lot of time in convincing him to take a chance with Skydancer and to trust him in this combat and that they will stop those who killed their family .Morty was always by their side and he had got closer to a lot of people in the town .
Next morning Trevor was no where to be seen . Until a message popped up on Vanessa's phone and she looked at it confused and thought to herself ' What the hell is he doing there ' . so she called Sky dancer and flew to the mating pasture and through the waterfall she looked around as Skydancer came to a stop and landed gently on the pasture . Vanessa saw Trevor standing a little away and she went next to him with a questioning look on her face and he just smiled and motioned towards something behind her . She spun around and saw Strom and Skydancer moving in circles and she smiled and said " so looks like your dragon is also love sick " . Trevor gave a small chuckle and said " yup , for quite some time now " . Vanessa said " guess we should just give them some privacy , so why did you call me here " . Trevor just held his hand out to Vanessa and when she looked at him weirdly he said " chill I'm not asking you to marry me ok , so trust me " . she took his hand and he took her a little further away from the two dragons and near the waterfall and asked her to sit they both sat looking at the rising sun and finally Trevor said " i asked you to came here cause i want to know something about my parents and I'm pretty sure Valient wound't have been interested in this and your father would have told you so please if you don't mind " Vanessa smiled and said " of course i know a little and I think you have a reason to ask for that so sure ." Trevor turned towards her and looked her like a eager little boy waiting for a treat . so Vanessa started " well your parents met in the human world cause your mother , our queen is a human and it was love at first sight for the king and there was no way he could peel his eyes off her . My dad said your mother was really very pretty and by looking at her portrait I am sure she was . And naturally they fell in love but you see riders are not allowed to marry humans . but your father was no way going to give up so he asked your mother to wait until he became the king and once he ascended the throne he changed the rule and agreed to the fact that humans can marry humans . but again there is a problem if a human marries a rider the human also becomes a rider and naturally can visit the human world but stays in this land . He killed your uncle as he gave his life for your father and mostly for you because he made sure your mother was safe and father could see you as your mother was pregnant and was about to deliver you . but Destro found them and killed your father and captured and maybe killed your mother . but your mother managed to find a servant to get you away from all of this . Destro dint stop at that he destroyed our prior homes and forced us out of our home and that is the reason my moms health deteriorated due to exhaustion due to travelling while she was pregnant and after 2 years of mine and my brothers birth she died when one of the rouges shot her . Papa still misses the king and queen he was their male wing commander but they treated him as their very own brother and dad says that he hadn't seen a more braver man than you uncle who died saving his brothers life . I really wish i had met them " Trevor just sighed and asked " well what about your parents " Vanessa said " never really seen my mom she died when i was 2 so me ,Valient and Papa its been just us . Guess that is why i don't behave like most females as i dint have a mom . dad raised the way he raised any boy and any warrior would raise his children and never differentiated between us . Trevor yelled " Come on love birds we got to go " and as they moved away from each other they both climbed on to their dragons back and rode and slowly as they flew Vanessa just sped her dragon cutting off Strom,s path Trevor just chuckled and yelled " showoff " Vanessa yelled back " slowpoke " Trevor just pushed up and jerked Strom who got the message and sped up and then started a race between both of them as they went down and up and flew up and suddenly did the fall from that height where dragons stop flying and Trevor's head and Vanessa's head were next to each other and hence they just looked at each . Trevor just looked into her brown eyes which was really mesmerizing she was some how perfect in every way to him , kind , gentle , beautiful and amazing warrior . The one fault he saw in her was that she was persuasive and could get anything she wanted whether good or bad as he had seen her father agreeing to everything she said . he was so lost in her eyes that he only came back to his senses when Skydancer turned and flew again and so did Strom . They just glided back to their home . As they reached and got off and the caretaker came to take Skydancer and a bullet shot was heard and the caretaker fell clutching his shoulder which was bleeding . Vanessa looked up and yelled at the top of her voice " defense position we are under attack " . she ran to the tent and grabbed her gun and her bow and arrows and armed herself . Along with her a few others also armed themselves and Valient came and threw the guns to Trevor and Trevor armed himself and Valient said " shoot anyone who comes against you " Trevor nodded at him and climbed on Strom and they all mounted their dragons and few of them on the ground Vanessa locked and loaded her gun and shot one of the guys and and then another she ducked and used the back of her gun to hit as one of the guys and as she shot another guy another guy came from behind her and before he could shot her Valient shot him and Trevor shot the guy going to hit Valient , and all others shooting and some of them even getting shot and injured they never stopped . suddenly they heard a loud roar and saw a adult and fully grown thunder breath a little bigger than Strom . Dave looked at it and said " Destro " . A man of about in his fifties on the dragon a mask kind of head set covered his face and he just flew on the top not doing much . Trevor looked at him and his blood began to boil . Trevor without thinking twice pushed Strom towards him . Dave and Valient went behind him and looking at them the man on the dragon pulled out a long sword and jerked his dragon towards Trevor and he held the sword at Trevor . Trevor pointed his gun at him and went head on at him . the man s sword almost gave him a small cut on his hand Trevor dodged it and shot at him it hit his leg as suddenly the dragon moved upwards and it kinda injured the dragons leg too . he came at Trevor again and Trevor pulled his small gun and tried to shoot him . he dodged the shot and gave a cut to Trevor's hand and that hurt Strom who winced in pain . Valient defended Trevor as he needed time to recover and Valient just shot at his hand and missed but pulled his spear and defended his sword attack . Dave came up and hit Destro on his hand and moved back as he tried to cut him as he came at him again .Trevor just spun around and with his long gun just hit Destro's hand and then shot at it . Destro's sword fell and Trevor pointed his gun at him and said " take your mask off . Valient and Dave stood facing the other side making sure no one came by causing trouble and warded those who came near by. the man put his hand up and removed his mask as he took it off . Trevor froze his hands couldn't pull the trigger . the man just smiled at him and said " hey my boy, you have grown a lot son . come on shoot " . Trevor couldn't believe it ,it was his father who had tried to kill him . the man put his mask on and pulled out his gun and seeing both Strom and Trevor frozen he aimed at Trevor's head and shot at him suddenly Dave jumped between them and took the shot to his shoulder and fell on his dragon panting which was also soon fell being hurt on its wing and Valient on seeing Moon jumper fall pulled his gun and shot at Destro . He escaped it and looked at Trevor still in the frozen state . Valient whistled and Vanessa saw her fathers dragon falling and she killed one of the guys and jerked Skydancer and Skydancer flew downwards and caught both moon jumper and Dave . Valient yelled at Trevor " why dint you shot him ?" Destro laughed from behind the mask and said " he doesn't have it in him " and yelled " Fall back " and all the rouges stopped fighting and retreated with him disappearing into the night . As they landed Trevor saw many of them injured and a few dead he went over to Vanessa and asked " your dad ...." Vanessa replied " he is alive but hurt pretty bad " . Valient helped put one injured rider on the stretcher and came towards Trevor and grabbed his collar and shaking him said " this is all your fault you did this " Vanessa came in between and pushed them away and said "valiente detenerlo ( Valient stop it ) " Valient yelled at Trevor " you dint shoot him in spite of having a clear shot . es su culpa (its his fault ) " and Valient stormed away and stopped and said to Trevor " Destro was right you don't have it in you " . Vanessa looked at him and she just din't say anything she just looked at him shocked and almost at the verge of tears . she finally said " Trevor is it true " Trevor just nodded and said " i just couldn't " . Vanessa put her hand on his shoulder and said " hey , its ok no major destruction and dad will be fine . and we will work on it . don't take Valient's words to heart . ok " she was stammering trying to be brave . Trevor wasn't even listening to her and brushed off her hand said " i need some time alone " . he just walked to storm and flew away on him . He went near the waterfalls and sat on the ground thinking about everyone who was hurt and everything that had gone wrong . He wondered was really the one who could actually do something about the problems they were facing or had he just made everything worse maybe Valient was right and he dint belong there with them he had no idea in the first place as to what he was doing there he wanted to go and he was missing his mother . He just wanted to leave
As he was packing his stuff he heard someone say " Really you are leaving ".He turned around to see Vanessa standing near his door and he just turned back to his bag pushing his laptop and his stuff inside and zipped up his bag and said " yes " Vanessa went over to him and said " why , because of what Valient said " Trevor sighed and said " no because he was right , it is my fault and that I don't have it in me , so I'm leaving you all are better off without me " he just picked his bag and asked Morty " you want to come or are you staying " . Morty just followed him and gave a " I'm sorry "face to Vanessa and then walked behind him . Vanessa not ready to give up and followed them outside and continued " if we were better off we wouldn't need you to come here you are going to just give up " Trevor just stopped and yelled back at her " well then its your fault for getting me here . I had a perfect life before you showed up in my life and since then you and bunch of people are driving me crazy . So please leave me alone " . Vanessa stayed silent for sometime and said " fine then go , it is my fault for I thought that maybe you could do more than what people said you could . " Trevor just stopped and turned around and went over to Vanessa and hugged her and said " 'm sorry but the guy you want me to be I'm just not " and he walked back to leave . Storm followed him he just stopped Strom and said " stay here buddy you fit in here better and please don't follow me " Strom hooted in a sad tone and continued to follow him Trevor looked and him and yelled at him " go away and leave me alone " Strom stopped and went near Vanessa . She asked " how are you planning to go back ?" Trevor stopped and shrugged his shoulders and said " Don't know , maybe ill walk " Vanessa shook her head and looked at sky dancer . the dragon went next to Trevor and Vanessa said " Sky will get you both home" and she just held on to Storm's snout and went away turning her back on them . Trevor climbed onto Skydancer and she flew above the clouds Trevor spent the entire ride thinking whether what he did was right or not . they reached the same place from where they had picked him up from the first day and as he got down Skydancer placed her snout on Trevor's hand and growled a little he just patted her snout and said " sorry Sky , but I'm no hero " Sky dancer just closed her eyes and then flew away . Trevor just hired a taxi and went home . His mother who opened the door hugged him and he saw his dad who just asked him " where have you been ?" he just replied " At a friends " and just went on top to his room before his father could ask him as to why dint call . Trevor shut his door and then just flopped on his bed though he knew he couldn't sleep .

He always told himself he belonged here with people and not with them . also Strom always came and stuck with Vanessa and no one else he dint even like to go to the stables and always stayed with Vanessa who also couldn't sleep either . Valient was back to his old isolated self cause without Trevor he just could not speak with anyone who understood him and as Vanessa wasn't her old self he had no one to talk to . Dave just saw his kids and everyone upset and knew he had to tell them the reason as to why Trevor din't shoot Destro . Trevor spent most of his time with Morty and just went with him to all his parties just trying to get Vanessa's brown eyes out of his head but nothing he did worked . so he spent half his time in work and stopped speaking to his friends as well .

Vanessa sat near Dave and poured him a glass of water to him Dave had almost recovered and it had been almost a month since Trevor had left and Dave suddenly had asked for Vanessa and Valient to come and meet him so they had gone to meet him that day he just was able to walk around and hence was walking up and down in the room . He whistled for Chisler and flew all the way to the waterfall and through the waterfall and reached the mating ground and saw that she was sitting staring at the sky and with Strom and sky dancer resting their heads on her lap and as he landed he spoke up " can I join you " he saw Vanessa wipe of her tears and nod without looking back . She gave a nudge to Skydancer and Strom and they got up and joined Chisler to run around . Valient sat next to her and said " I'm sorry I yelled at him. Is that why he left ? " Vanessa shook her head and said " I don't think that you should have yelled at him but he said that he left because he said that you were right . But i had no idea he said that because he couldn't shoot his own family" Valient said " well I really hope he comes back . Do you think I should go get him " Vanessa smiled and said " no , if he wants to come he will by himself , forcing or begging is not going to work " she continued " you know sometimes Skydancer asks me if i miss him or not and I usually feel bad that I can connect with her because I really don't what to say to her " and with that she started to cry and put her head on Valient's shoulder and cry . Valient put his hand around her shoulder and pulled her closer . he said " well i don't know about you but I miss him . He was like a brother to me the first guy who intended to speak with me " Vanessa nodded and Valient continued " You remember that day when I asked you if you liked him or not " when she nodded he said " you said you were confused but I know that you like him and trust he likes you too " Vanessa lifted her head and looked at Valient and asked " what ?" Valient said " I see the way he looks at you and I know the way you look at him " Vanessa smiled at him and sai " wow you are smarter than I thought " and they laughed and she said " its been 15 years since you last spoke to me in English " Valient scrunched his nose and said " you know i do that when I really have something important to speak with you and that when i feel guilty " she nodded and he said " hey if not for others he will come back for you unless of course he gets bigger reason we'll get through this together like always , tu y yo hermana (me and you sister )" she replied back "tu y yo hermano( you and me brother ) " and they both sat hoping for the best .
Back home Trevor sat on his bed wondering what to do unable to sleep as always . He heard a knock on the door and presuming that it was his mother he said " come in " . His father came in and said " you busy buddy " ,he looked up and said "no dad what are youhere to lecture me about " his dad sighed and kept a cup of coffee on the table and sat next to him and asked " I came to ask you if you are ok you have been gloomy nowadays " Trevor looked at his dad with a quizzical lookhis father never understood what was he going through so his mother was the one asking him that question usually . Trevor asked his dad " did Mon tell you that I'm having a problem " his father shook his head and said " nope she thinks that you are just having a hard time with job and your boss but I think it's something else I know that " Trevor s answer was " how do you know that dad you never know anything about me " his father looked away and let out a breath and said " I know that we are not as close as your mother and you , but I have gone through what ever you are going throughsk I know about your problems . Son talk to me what's really bugging you " Trevor finally looked at his dad and said " dad you ever did something more than what you thought you could do and someone else also believed in you ?" His father smiled at him and said " yes , I've been there " Trevor sat up staring at his dad and asked him " when " his dad looked at him and said " you see when I and your mom found you it was just a year after our marriage and everyone was pressuring us to have a child so we came here for some peace and quiet. But the day your mom brought you in frankly I didn't want a child then . But your mother looked at you and looked so happy and hence I couldn't say no to you and for once I thought maybe I can be a good father to you and your mother said I could do it and that's why we took you in and I am so glad that we did son you were the best thing that came into our lives ." Trevor asked " well I guess you did that but dad my problem is that many still believe in me and I can't do what they want me to do because its kinda impossible more of like I can't do it even if I wanted to do it " his father looked at him and said " nothing impossible , it may be difficult yes but not impossible . Not as long as you believe you can do it " Trevor rolled his eyes and said " I just can't do it dad I don't know as to how can I do that" . Paul just handed him a locket and a small diary and said this was in the basket when we found you "

Trevor next day in the office was displaying his drone somehow he had made it look like Strom . he wondered as to how and why he had done so himself . After displaying it to his boss he said " so what do you think sir " his boss looked at it and said " well the motor works and the camouflage is amazing so that no one will notice it so i ,love it . You never fail to surprise me Trevor so what do you want " Trevor said " sir I want a holiday to spend some time with someone who is really is counting on me " . His boss said " Sure go on I don't mind at all and I'm happy to see you do something more than just work and you look like you desperately need that . But Trevor I can give you only 2 months and after that we need to launch the drone and you have to present it " . Trevor nodded and said " that is more than enough " . He grabbed his bag and by the time he left after finishing work it was almost noon . He went to the back of the bar where he met Vanessa and sat on one of the rock and opened the locket and stared at the photos of his parents and wondered as to why would his father kill or even try to kill him he looked at his mother for a long time he stared at his mothers eyes they resembled his . So he looked at his dad and realized something was not right about the man he had seen and this photo . as he paid close attention to it he figured out what . He quickly dialed Morty's number and said " dude meet me near the park behind the bar " .
When Morty reached he quickly told him what he had found . Morty exclaimed and said " really , dude that means that you can go back " . Trevor said " I want to but i don't know how to get there " Morty said " call Strom he will take us there " Trevor said " I'm not so sure he likes me after the way I yelled at him " Morty patted his shoulder and said " come on he is your friend he wouldn't go away or back off when his friend needs him "
Trevor closed his eyes and tried to connect to Strom and said " Strom buddy I'm sorry i dint mean to yell at you . I hate being alone without you my friend . so please friend ,brother come back I really need you " after a while Trevor heard a response " I never left you buddy and apology accepted " . when Trevor opened his eyes he saw Strom right over him and he landed next to him and pushed his snout at him and closed his eyes Trevor took his snout into his hands and said " I'm so sorry buddy , but we need to go back ". Hearing this Strom straightened and bent a little so that Trevor and Morty can climb on and with his connection he told Trevor " hang on buddy and lets go get those criminals " and with that he soared along with the boys .

Destro went down a dark corridor and went all the way to the last cell . It was a dungeon with a pretty spacious for one person and it that cell there was a lady who sat with her legs chained to the wall . She looked a lot sick and tired for she hadn't eaten in days . But still her brown big eyes were enough to to kill anyone with one look . As she saw Destro she averted her eyes and said " what do you want now Destro " . Destro just walked to the front of her and pulled her head up and said " why do you starve yourself , be Happy your son is back and he finally ran away ." And he gave an ear piercing laughter the women snatched her face away from his grasp and looked away from him and said " he will be back and you will repent the day you put me in here " Destro looked at her and said " I Kno w that and I want him to come back so that I can kill him " and he walked away from her cell . She ran to the cell bars but the chains pulled her back so she screamed from I side the cell " how can you even think that , he is your family " the man just stopped and said " he is your son not mine " and he walked away . The women collapsed as the yelling and trying took a toll on her and she was very sick . She only ate what was necessary and that given to her by the guard of the prison who was their allies but couldn't free her . She just wanted to die but she knew her son would return to save them all . She knew her servant had kept him alive and that he would come for her . The hope of his return was what kept her alive .
At about dawn Strom managed to get bother Trevor and Morty back to the land of the riders . They were flying over the forest when he heard a familiar voice from the below within the trees and at once knew whose it was and he looked at Morty and Morty said " I think you have to apologize to her alone . Trevor nodded and he flew over to the camp . He basically presumed everyone to be mad at him but more of the people were more of relieved to see him there they flocked to him yelling at him more off for ditching them and later on literally hugging him being so happy that he was back . he slowly got away from them and went near Valient and looked at him . Valient started with " look Trevor I'm so sorry i shouldn't have said that about you and stuff . I am so ....." Trevor cut him short and said " Don't apologize buddy , it's not your fault I couldn't shoot him and I din't actually have it in me then . but Valient you made me realize that I can do more than I presumed I could do also anyone in your situation would have said the same thing . I'm sorry too that your dad got in trouble because of me . " . " I risked my life for our king , if you hadn't come back then my effort would have gone in vain ". Trevor looked behind Valient to see Dave come towards them . he came near Trevor and bowed to him Trevor bowed back to him and looked at him already recovering and walking . He was using a cane but he was fit enough . Trevor held him and said " thank you so much sir , you risked your life to save mine it is a lot you have done for me " Dave smiled and said " I know why you couldn't shoot him , I couldn't have done it myself I can't shoot my own king and I don't expect you to shoot your own father " Trevor smiled and said I think I know a loophole in that one " Valient piped in saying " Trevor but we have a more serious problem . The fact that the attack that day was just a distraction from what they really wanted " Trevor looked at him and asked "which is what ? " Valient hesitated and finally said " the egg jewel " Trevor looked at him and said " the pink egg kind of jewel which floats in the middle of the portrait room " Dave nodded sadly and said " Yes , that jewel is very powerful if it goes into the wrong hands it can destroy all of the world . The jewel controls the entire dragons minds and their freedom but if the eggs power can be possessed by any one person then that person can control all dragons according to his will . It threatens both human , rider and dragons life as they will do whatever the eggs power wants them to do without thinking about what the consequences can be and will listen to no rider but that person tirelessly " Trevor looked at all of them looking worried and said " then in that case we need more than a battle plan we need a strategy . And I think I have one " he looked at Valient and said " gather all the warriors and everyone we can spare , we need more than just warriors to win this battle . But first I got to go say something to someone " Valient looked at Trevor and said " She is in the forest near your practice ground go ahead , and hey don't mess with her " Trevor put his hands up and said in a jokingly manner " yes , sir " . He jumped on Strom and rode to the forest near the practice ground he just had to listen to a small roar to figure out as to where Vanessa was . He came all the way to the place until he saw Skydancer and a slender figure next to it . Strom came right in front of Vanessa and landed . Vanessa looked up to see Trevor getting down from the dragon smiling at her . She just looked at him and said " well din't expect you to come back but who am to judge dads vision " Trevor gave a weak smile and looked at Skydancer who turned around and put her tail at him . He nodded and said " well looks like you both are mad at me " .Vanessa looked at Skydancer and said " Yeah i am mad but not as much as sky is " Trevor looked at her and said " look I'm sorry I yelled at you I din't mean it " She nodded and said " Yeah I figured that part " Trevor continued " then what you mad at that I took Valient instead of you to get Strom " Vanessa laughed and said " No I figured you do that to " . Trevor looked at her and asked " ok , so what are you mad at" she looked at him and said " I am mad that you told Skydancer than you are not a hero " . Trevor just sighed and said " well consider the situations Vanessa , I din't do anything that was like a hero Vanessa said " well I don't know , you managed to get the Thunderbreath and make friends with it , you taught me how to be more than that much , you even made Valient the guy who was rude to everyone to like you and even the kids around here like you . you mastered weaponry in a few weeks . If that is not heroic then I don't know what you call being a hero . " Trevor just looked away from her she came closer and pulled his face to face her and said " Trevor you cant be a hero if you don't believe you are . A hero is not someone who saves a damsel in distress he is someone who shows the damsel how to save herself . And you did that you showed everyone in there that they can fight for themselves and din't need you to save them . I don't know about you but to me that is really heroic for me and I would follow a person like that anywhere and into any battle because I know that he is right " Trevor said " well then I can't let people who trust me so much down but we need need to fight with brains and not might and I have a sneaky little plan and a way to get all people we need for this to work . You in or not " Vanessa came a little more closer and hugged him and said " always by you side " Trevor just gave her a weird look to her when they broke away . she looked at him and said " what , I just wanted to do that " Trevor gave her a cheeky look and said " Really , just wanted to do that " Vanessa she looked back at him with squinted eyes and said " hey don't go reading to much into that ok , and if you tell Valient or dad I will chock you " Trevor looked at her and said " yeah don't worry that is not something I want to share especially when I don't know what I in an agitated manner am supposed to make out of it " Vanessa said " well how about a friendly hug as you are not into girlfriends and I am so not looking to date at the moment " Trevor said " yeah that's cool ".
Vanessa looked at him and said " You still got to apologize to Skydancer . " she turned around to look at the dragon still pouting and as Trevor went to the front of sky she looked away . Trevor looked at Vanessa and she just shrugged while rubbing Storm's snout . Trevor said " pk fine , i know you are mad but come on are you gonna pout like that all the time at me " she just blew her nostrils in an agitated manner so Trevor continued " ok fine I am sorry and i'll try to be the person that you intend me to be , I promise " Skydancer finally looked at him and put her snout down into his hands and he patted it and fist bumped it . he came near Strom and sat on him and said " lets go " Vanessa mounted hers and they flew towards their camp .
" So whats the plan are we going to charge at them " Valient asked Trevor. All had gathered in the conference room and listening and giving ideas as to how to go about in defeating Destro . Trevor shook his head and said " No if we just charge at them we all will be dead in minutes if the people who attacked us are only there for a distraction then I don't even want to try and imagine their actual force and us attacking face front is not a good idea ." . Vanessa asked " then what do you propose what should we do " Trevor said we need a larger force to attack and that can only happen if we can release the people stuck inside . we have allies who are imprisoned in the dungeons and people who still live under his control . we have to get inside the castle " One of the warriors asked " how there is no way we can get in without being noticed by the guards and they are loyal to whoever sits on the throne and they wont let us get in and maybe even kill us " . Trevor said " I know that they wont let us in but we do have some people who may help us in getting in . " Trevor turned to Dave and asked " Do you know anybody known as Creech ?" Dave's eyes widened and said " you mean the old prison guard . Yes , he still works there . But the problem is that he is faithful to the king I am not sure he will help us " Trevor gave a sly smile and asked " did he say he is loyal to the throne or to the king ? " Dave looked and said " he always said he dint care who was on the throne he would serve the rightful king . Your dad " Trevor smiled and replied and said "Then no one knows the truth , tell him what I'm about to tell you and trust me he will help . Also who has the keys to the dungeon cells " . Vanessa replied " I'm sure Destro would not give the key to the cell to the old guard as the old guard might also be kind enough to free people from time to time . I'm guessing on one of the dragons neck " Trevor looked at the keepers and asked " anyone who can get close enough without getting blazed . anyone who has an idea how " One of the keepers said " well dragons are usually attracted to fire or anything sparkling if one can keep the dragon distracted then I think I can manage to get the keys from its neck " Trevor nodded and said "Fine you get the keys and take any two keepers with you and one warrior . Also Dave sir we are gonna need you to brief us on the castle do you have anyone who might have a present blueprint of the castle . " Dave replied " I have a few allies who work under Destro who are rebels and they want freedom from that tyrant so bad they will risk their life for it " Trevor nodded and said " well sir send a message to them to send a blueprint with all the floors marked and also send my message to Creech we will need his help a lot in this battle " . Dave and all bowed to hi and Trevor said finally " tomorrow same time same place I will assign everyone their role and who has to do what . He will never even see it coming " .
The next day Dave received his letters from the raven he had sent to Creech as they had not taken the risk of email as Destro may have tapped their phones . Creech and his friends had sent him a blueprint of the palace and also marked the places they can come in through and also as to where the keys were kept and it turned out that Vanessa was right and the keys had been kept on the neck of the queens dragon . Also they had sent the message that the queen was alive Trevor looked over the blueprint and at the meeting he started assigning everyone their jobs " Vanessa you and team A are in charge of the prisoners release get inside the dungeons and wait for the keys they will come to you and also stay i n formation and don't forget to knock out the guards and use sleeping gas ok " Vanessa nodded but asked " how are we going to get in there ?" Trevor replied " Creech will get you in as the guards your costumes will be ready and you can get in just stay in character ok " Vanessa nodded . Trevor turned to Valient and said " Valient you and team B are in charge of getting the palace guards out and letting everyone inside and be careful and wait for the signal before opening the gates for the warriors to come in . Also put down all the guys guarding them . ok " Valient replied " done and done " Trevor turned to Ceaser one of the keepers and said " Ceaser you and team C will get the key for the others to get the others out and also keep the dragons preoccupied before the Riders get to them and don't be scared ok i trust you can do this " He said so because Ceaser was trembling and also shaking . But he nodded and then Trevor spoke to Tina one of the healers " Mam you are the one person who knows the the place very well you and team D gather all those who are still loyal to the true king and stay ready for battle and spread the messages and get also those who are still weak out of here mostly kids and women who cant fight ok " Tina nodded she knew the passage that can get everyone out of there without causing any problems and casualties . Trevor turned to Dave and said " Sir you and I have a special purpose and role we have to find the egg jewel and also create a decoy and a real egg " Dave nodded and Trevor finally said " ok everyone we have one month to get everything ready ok lets go everyone hurry up and lets go " . The next 2 weeks were spent on getting costume sand weapons and the guns ready and later on everyone put up a kind of rehearsal of the plan .
Destro walked all the way to a large court room and stood near the mirror and looked at his reflection he wore a black Armour kind of tight upper body shirt and black pants he wore a red robe around him he just closed his eyes and remembered all the things he had done to reach what he was today . he remembered setting the place on fire and then faking his death , killing his brother and then finally deceiving and imprisoning the queen. As he was thinking he heard a female voice behind him and he turned to see a girl walk in and say " I don't like what you did to my brother . Why would you hurt your own people and tell them things like that and what wrong did the queen do to you that you keep her in that cell " Destro went close to her and said " Shut your tiny little mouth . You don't know what power is or what we can achieve with power ." The girl retorted back " But what you are doing ......"
"SILENCE , " Destro's voice cut her off and he said " keep quite or you will join her and i wont think if you are my daughter or not " . Destro stormed out the girl sat on the floor . She din't like what her father was doing but she din't have enough guts to talk back to him so she usually shut up and nodded her head all the time . She used to go to the dungeons and make sure the queen was ok but she din't dare to free her . All she wanted was to go away from the place . She also hadn't gone riding on her dragon for years now and practically speaking she was also waiting for her brother to stop this .
" and you are sure of this Creech " Creech walked with Destro as Destro was pondering and Creech replied to him " Yes sir , in a way I am betraying the queen but I am sure that you are the rightful king and i must be loyal to you , the boy has decided to attack tomorrow " Destro looked at him and said " and how big is his force ?" Creech relied " a lot. also he has joined hands with the other clans and maybe increased in number" Destro said to one of the guards " order for more weapons and make it quick by tomorrow and Creech you will bring the weapons wagon and no one else ok " Creech bowed to him and moved on .
Trevor received letters from all the clans and they had all agreed to help him and be with him to rid off the tyrant and he was reading their responses . Dave had told him that there with other clans too who were in riding and they will be ready to help them in fighting they would come in when the gates were opened for them . Trevor even though reading good news looked a little nervous . Vanessa came in with few more letters and looked at Trevor's expression and sat near him and asked " You ok compañero " Trevor said " Yeah its just I don't want to kill him you know i mean he is family after all " Vanessa replied " When you say it like that none of us want that but we all make a choice and so did you " Trevor asked " Yes but how do you know that's the right choice " Vanessa smiled and said " When time comes you will know , Trust me " She just kissed him on this forehead and said " for good luck "then got up and left . Trevor nodded to himself and got up to get ready .
The next day Creech drove a carriage to the front the castle door of Destro the carriage was a color of blue and green with the crest of a dragon on it this was mainly used to get weaponry and important packages into the castle and hence this was horse drawn carriages and hence it was a closed compartment kind of box and the guard seeing it was him let him in without asking any questions and as soon as they reached an empty place behind the castle where no one could see them he quickly went to the back of the carriage and knocked on it 3 times the 2 doors of the carriage opened and a bunch 12 people came out all dressed in the red suits which Destro's soldiers wore and only 4 of them dressed in green long robes. Creech quickly explained to them " Ok listen the dungeons prison is on the top tower and the stables are underground and the gates are on that side of the place wait for the signal i will give it to you and the egg is kept in the safe room i will lead you guys there ok lets go everyone " the 4 of them in robes quickly went to the right of the the castle and took a poised stance and walked towards the stables entrance that Creech had directed them to go . they quickly found the wooden doors and went near the number pad and dialed in a secret number and the doors opened for them and they went in and they had to go down a few steps and hence when they reached at the bottom of the stairs it was pitch black but as they took a few steps front one of the guys lit his flaming knife and that gave them some light Ceaser and the others walked ahead and saw there was a long line of torches and he lit one of it and saw that on either side were dragons . They looked more ferocious and frustrated than the dragons in their home back . Ceaser looked at them snapping against the cages they were put in and said " These must be the prisoners dragons and haven't seen light for a long time that makes them scared and ferocious . " The dragons of the other riders who were soldiers for Destro were kept in a stable above and in light and hence they were in good form . But these dragons had not connected and flown for a long time so were tired and scared due to the lack of light and also they weren't given much to eat either . The 4 of them continued till they reached a cage in which a shreadwinger sat pretty much sadly and on its neck was a key golden in color and pretty big for one door . One of the keepers asked Ceaser " how only one key for all the dungeons " Ceaser replied " One master key for all the prison doors , Brilliant " . As they neared the cage the dragon looked and roared at them and tried to snap at them and moved back . Ceaser nodded to one of the guy and he held the sword and flamed it up and moved the sword side to side the dragon came forward staring at the flaming sword and kept staring at it and soon it came forward pretty close to them . Ceaser sat on his knees and tried to reach to the key which dangled on its collar but he couldn't reach as it was still covering the key with its neck . Ceaser slowly said" raise the sword a little higher I can't reach yet ". the guy with the sword held it a little higher . The dragon lifted its neck and Ceaser reached a little more further and grabbed the hook of the neck of the dragon and slowly moved back and after he was away a few distance then they turned of the flame of the sword . The dragon cowered again after breaking away from its trance .
Ceaser looked around and said " I think the cages need a kind of password lock to open them " . He saw a number pad at the entrance and one next to the wall at the bottom of the stairs . As they turned to leave a man with the same green robe stood at the entrance and asked " What are you guys doing here , and why do you have the key ? " Before he could understand the situation and decided to run one of the guys shot an arrow at his foot as he fell they caught him and Ceaser kept a knife at his neck and asked " What is the password number ?" . The guy mumbled in a terrified voice " 3849" . Ceaser nodded to the guy holding the guy and he pushed a dart in his neck and the guy fainted . Ceaser went out side and looked around to see and make sure that no one was there and he whistled and a bluebird came and sat on his hand he wrote a small number and what it was for on a piece of cloth he tore off and wrapped it around the key and gave it to the bird and let it fly the bird carried the key with it till it reached a small window on the top floor .
Vanessa and 3 other marksman riders had almost reached the top floor they kept on running and killing the guards on their way to the top as they reached a window on the wall on the way 4 guards came in their way the riders behind her shot 2 of then and Vanessa shot one and as the other came at her she pushed a knife in his gut and killed him and as she went near the window the bird threw the key inside the window . Vanessa caught it and yelled " Thanks Horus " and the bird screeched back in response . As she reached the floor on where the prisons were located and she just peeked a little to see how many guards were there . She put up her hand and indicated her warriors to stop and that there were guards with guns . She just made a small move making noise and one of the guys came to check and as he reached close enough to the wall behind which they were hiding they pulled him inside and twisted his neck and killed him she signaled her friends and all the three of them took positions and slid on the floor on their knees and started shooting and put down all the guards who were standing guarding the cells . As the last one fell Vanessa ran through the cells path way looking for the queen . the cells were on either sides of a long corridor which was a straight line . Vanessa kept going to find the queen and stopped outside a cell she recognized the pin on the hair of the queen and went near the cell and said " your majesty " The lady turned to see who it was and as she saw the girl next to her she asked " Who are you " Vanessa opened the cell door and said " I am Vanessa daughter of Dave " Trix ( the queen ) came out and looked at Vanessa and the other . all three of them went down on their knees and bowed to her she nodded at them and said " I had no idea that Ana gave birth to such beautiful daughter " Vanessa smiled and said " WE have to free the others " Trix nodded and took the key from her and went to one place near the wall and pushed open a circular cover hiding the lock and put the key in it and turned it and all the cells clicked open . She looked at Vanessa and said " It was Destro way of making me fell bad that i couldn't unlock the cells in spite of knowing where the lock is " . Vanessa told Tina " Your son is here he asked me to get all of you out so all of you should come with me " Trix nodded and everyone followed them to the ground where they met Tina waiting for them and Vanessa said " ok all those who cant fight and kids follow Tina she will lead you out and rest of you have to go to the weapons shed and grab any thing you want . ok " Vanessa looked at the queen and said " You should go with Tina your highness " Trix waved it off and said " I am not running when my people are in danger " Vanessa nodded and took everyone to the weapons shed and they all picked whatever they could use guns swords and spears . Though they had been locked up they had maintained their strength . Then they dashed to the GPS signal that Ceaser had sent them and reached the shed and they went down the shed and pushed the number and the cages opened and the riders quickly ran to their dragons and connected again . Trix ran to the shreadwinger and connected . The dragon calmed down and put its head near her forehead . Trix said " Everyone mount your dragons time to fight back "
Vanessa spoke into her earpiece and signaled Valient saying " Warriors ready " Valient and the others with him who were blending with the other soldiers pulled out their weapons and shot all the guards near them dead and Valient went towards the leaver and pulled one which opened the gates and the second lever opened the bullet proof glass barricade on the top of the castle which could let the dragons and their riders come in and he finally went to a pad and pushed a few buttons and then went next to one of the guards and cut off one of his fingers and put it on the keypad and the the device which was actually a fingerprint scanner and it opened and disabled the camouflage of the castle and spoke into his earpiece and said " Walls down , " .
Trevor replied " Copy that , everyone stay on standby . " Trevor , Dave and Creech were near the room where the jewel was kept . There was laser protecting it and also 3 guards and their dragons protecting them . Trevor nodded to Creech and Dave and they all threw gas cans inside which gave out a kind of sleeping gas . and within a few seconds all the guards and their dragons were fast asleep . Then before they could go in Trevor replied to Morty " Morty , time to work your magic . Lets see your hacking skills " . Back at the village Morty sat in front of a computer and quickly typed in a bunch of buttons and said " You guys are now invisible and your welcome " . Trevor smiled and said "I owe you one dude " Morty replied " Actually you owe me two " . Trevor smiled to himself and went in he saw the laser's and asked Morty " What about this dude " Morty replied back " Just a moment " and with a few more tapping he disabled the shield and Trevor carefully removed the jewel and took out a fake one and kept it in the real ones place and put the jewel in a holder and placed it in his backpack and gave it to Creech and he said "Morty turn the laser back on " and they scooted out of there . On their way they met Tina and the rest of them and Tina took all of them to the hall and removed a few stones from a place in the wall and said " ok everyone get in quick " and as the last one went in Tina went in the last one and before going said " Good luck you guys and please cover this place before you all leave ." Trevor nodded and as Tina went in they quickly replaced the stones back in their place and left .
Destro sat on a chair in his balcony looking at the sky for he was sure that was how they would attack from the top as it was the only way that was beneficial for them . The more he looked at the sky the more uneasy he started to feel as though he was missing something he knew they would attack but why hadn't they done it yet . He suddenly got up and went to his daughters room and looked at her and asked " Did anyone come here " she looked up at him from her bed . She was wearing a long blue flowing gown which was light green at the sleeves and at the end of the dress . She replied simply " Not even a fly is allowed to come in here " . He just nodded and went out of the room he called two guards and said " Guard this door no one should come in or even leave this room . Got it " The guard bowed in agreement and stood outside the door . Destro walked looking for Creech and one of the guards spoke into his ear piece " Creech he coming to look for you " .
Creech stopped and told the other two " Time to separate " . Trevor looked at Creech and said " Okay lets go . Thank you Creech " Creech smiled and threw his backpack to Dave and said " Buena suerte mis amigos ( good luck my friends ) " . He quickly walked away in the opposite direction in a normal way in order to meet Destro . Destro finally caught up with Creech and said " Did you bring the weapons " Creech bowed to him and said " Yes , my king I did " . Destro replied looking away " Well you said that he would come but he still hasn't " Creech " My lord I am sure and heard that he would so I told you so " Destro kept his hand on Creech and said " Well this can mean that they are already inside and this can only mean that .. " He looked at Creech and said " You brought them inside and betrayed me " . Without a moments notice he drove a sword right through Creech . Creech who was already old felt the sword through him like a big blow . He gasped and staggered back a little bit and then he fell . Destro looked at him and said " Why would you betray your king Creech ?" Creech replied in a weak voice " You are not my king and I am serving the rightful king " Destro just smiled went close to him and said " You stupid old man " and pushed the sword through him one more time and pulled it out and went to where he knew the boy would have gone and he asked two of his guards on the way to join him .
Trevor heard Creech gasp and tell what he had told Destro and he quickly Started to run back to where Creech was . Dave stopped him and said " Are you crazy ? If Destro finds you are good as dead " Trevor said " I am not leaving him behind to die " Trevor freed himself from Dave s hold and ran back Dave followed him screaming " Trevor , don't get emotional now " . Trevor without listening ran without looking back at all all the way till he reached Creech and saw two guards next to him and fired at both of them and ran and sat next to Creech who was panting and almost dying . Trevor supported his head and looked at him and put pressure on his wound and said " Hold on Creech we got you " Creech pulled him closer and said " I din't see and make sure he din't find you so that you can come back and get yourself killed boy " Trevor almost at the verge of tears said " I couldn't leave you to die Creech . I'm not letting you die " Creech took Trevor's hand and kept his forehead on his hand and said " My king you have returned . You do have the qualities of your father you never leave anyone to die just like that . but you have to leave boy now " .
Destro reached the room where the egg was kept and saw it still in place and the guards and their dragons unconscious and went towards the egg and typed a password into a keypad next to the laser shield and the laser went off . Destro picked up the egg and looked at it . The guard said " Looks alright to me my lord " Destro threw the jewel into the wall and it broke into pieces and he looked at the guard in a dreadful way and said " If it was the real jewel then the wall would have broken and not the jewel got it " He looked at the unconscious guards and barked at the other two " Wake them both up and ask them what happened " The guard ran up to the other two and asked them " what the hell happened " One of the guards woke up and said " No idea suddenly three canisters came in and gave out gas and then we fell asleep I think " Destro looked at him and said " You think ? " He walked out and motioned to the two guards and they nodded and cut the throat of the guards who were unconscious and followed Destro and he commanded the guards " Tell everyone to find that boy and to suit up and be ready we are gonna have an attack " when he finished he heard two gun shots and ran to the place from where he had heard the gun shot from when he reached the place he saw Trevor sitting next to Creech and smirked and said " Hello boy was looking for you " Dave quickly told Trevor " Run , Now go " Trevor told Dave " Get Creech out of here " Dave nodded and threw the bag pack to Trevor and said " Now go " . Trevor wore the bag and ran through the place to where ever he found a place to go Destro yelled at his guards and said " Kill these two the boy is mine " and followed Trevor . Trevor ran took out his guns and shot anyone who tried to stop him and anyone who came in his way he got caught with one guy who caught his leg he just put his gun on his head and shot the guy and continued to run until he heard and felt bullets flying at him and saw that Destro was firing at him and he yelled " Damn it , dude " . Trevor quickly made a right turn and ran he had memorized the floor plan and knew where he was going . finally he reached the end of a balcony with the railings he suddenly ducked and a bullet flew past him and hit the railing he turned around and faced Destro and Destro pointed his gun at Trevor and said " No where to run son you are at the dead end " Trevor looked down and then started laughing so much that tears came out of his eyes . Destro looked at him wondering if Trevor had gone mad . This guy was laughing when a gun was pointed at him and a while later Destro lost it and asked him " What are you laughing at ? " Trevor controlled himself and said " At the fact that you are my father , that was really funny " Destro said " I am your father " Trevor looked at him and said " No you are not my dad , and we both know that don't we uncle Benjamin " Destro looked on in shock , how on earth did this boy know that . As though Trevor could read his mind he said " How do i know that well to start off . i did believe you were my father when I saw the portrait and well you are my dad's twin so you look like him but how would i know you may ask " Trevor pulled out a locket from inside his suit and opened it a the and said " The details are in the eyes . " Trevor closed the locket and continued " Well I must say you are pretty smart to fake your car explosion accident and also nice move in switching the painting of my parents which you gave to the people with yours so that they would believe that you were king . But guess mom saw through you she made sure I had a part of them to know who they really are so i did a little family history check on you . Well when you sell weapons to the army you will obviously have a profile of your own on the net . So i figured the only difference between you and my dad are your eyes , you have green ones and my dad had black eyes just like I do .well that' s about it " Destro lowered his gun and looked at him and said " Well very impressive Trevor you were smarter than your parents you figured it all out ." Trevor looked at him and said now your turn , Why would you do this to your own people and your family who loved you and trusted you " Destro looked at him and scoffed and said " Loved me , what are you talking about " He locked his gun and pointed at Trevor and said " You know I almost thought of sparing your life until you used that statement . The same thing that your father use to use . From the moment I was born I was always second in everything In strength , in wisdom and even in ruling . My parents always though my perfect brother was so good at everything that he would be the one who would raise our kingdom and business to greatness and help save the world from problems and stuff . So in spite of me being older by 2 minutes he became the king . And to top it all off he got your mother she liked him and they got married . My problem was that your father took everything from me so i just repaid him back everything . I should have killed you but i could't so now I can finally get rid of you as well . just like i rid myself of my wife who could't give me what your mother would give me well at least she gave me a heir . That was all I needed her to do . And now you have nowhere to run " Trevor turned and moved to end of the balcony and climbed on the railing and before Destro understood what was happening Trevor said " Who said anything about running " He just waved a bye and fell backwards from the railing . Destro screamed and yelled "NO " and ran to see if the egg was still ok " But he fell back when Strom swooped up with Trevor on his back Destro looked at Trevor on the thunder breath and said " Impossible " . Trevor nodded to Strom and Strom blew a thunder ball onto the ring which was on top and Valient said " That is the signal people " and That's when Destro saw the entire clans come in and looked at Trevor and asked " How and why are they following you " Trevor smiled and said " It takes more than just power to win peoples trust which you will never understand " .
Destro yelled " Everyone battle positions " And he shouted at the top of his voice " Ripslanger " Trevor at the time understood whom he was calling when he heard a loud roar behind him and saw a huge thunderbreath who was at least five times bigger than Strom . the dragon swept past Trevor almost knocking him over and flew a little above the place where Destro and bent its long neck over the railing and Destro stepped on its head and went on to sit on the dragon and pulled out a huge gun from his sides and said " Maybe I don't cause all I understand is that power is everything " Trevor wasted no time in pulling out his guns and connected to storm and said "Ready buddy " And Strom blew a thunder ball at the other Dragon and the other one blew at them and that was when the war started . riders against other riders and people at each other on the dragons and on foot and some of them dying and killing others . Vanessa just jumped into one of the dragons and shot the rider and as he and the dragon fell she jumped back with Skydancer catching her and took her on near the front door and Trix who just slit a guys throat and threw a knife at the other guy joined her Vanessa threw her a shot gun and they shot the guys guarding the door and nodded to Valient . Who nodded back and motioned to two people to go in and some more to follow and few others followed him and he reached the floor from where Trevor was fighting a bunch of archers and Valient and Chisler took out five of them and Valient screamed to Trevor " Take care of Destro we'll handle the rest " Trevor nodded and said " Thanks Valient " Valient smiled back and he and the others continued to fight and as they reached the railing they jumped inside and moved on eliminating the archers who were killing their people . They came across Dave who was with Creech who was bleeding and as soon as he saw Valient Dave told him " Creech need help " Valient quickly tied a cloth around Creech's wound and gave him to one of his friends and said " Take him back to the infirmary " His friend nodded and he walked back near the railing and placed Creech on his dragon who was waiting for him and he few back to their home .
Valient and the others moved more inside with Dave and as they saw a room which was guarded by two people they killed the guy they dint know as the room a girl abruptly sat up as they came in and shot the guys near the room she just crouched with her hands around her ears . She just looked at Valient pretty startled . Valient pointed his gun at her and looked at her . Inside he really din't want to kill her . She was the first petty creature whom he found himself attracted to but shook it off and pointed his gun back at her . Dave put his gun down and said " Valient its ok she is harmless " Valient lowered his gun and as they walked out she got and followed saying " Take me with you please , " Valient turned back and said in a stern expression " Why and who are you " She replied " My name is Stella and I'm Destro's daughter , but please I hate it here " Valient moved closer and asked " And why should we believe you " She gave a frustrated groan and said " I don't have a reason but if you cant take me with you then kill me please " Valient raised his gun and pointed it her she closed her eyes and Valient shot the guy behind her and said " Come on " . He managed to take her down and to where Chisler who was waiting he stopped and asked her " do you have a dragon " She just nodded and he said " ok get the creature and go away " she looked at him and said " Where ' He said with a weird expression " anywhere " She ran and held his hand and said I have nowhere to go " he looked around and saw a bunch of dragons leaving and knew that they were the Dragons of the people who had left with Tina and this girl was starting to annoy him so he said " See those dragons follow them then where they stop ask for a Tina and tell her Valient sent you she will know what to do ok " She just smiled and nodded again and she left to get her dragon and before she left she came back and hugged Valient and said " Thank you " and then ran away . Valient shook his head and mounted Chisler and went back to the fight . TREVOR KILLED ANOTHER GUY AND SAW VANESSA FLY NEAR HIM AND SHE SHOT A GUY AND SAID "Trevor get Destro out of here he is killing too much and we may have many casualties ok . Get him out of here we'll stop the rest " Trevor got it and he flew a little high and saw a jungle nearby and yelled at Destro " Hey " Destro who was busy with another 2 looked up and saw Trevor showing him a bag and saying " Want the jewel come and get it " And he flew away to the jungle Destro killed one guy and followed the way Strom had gone and went into the jungle and dodging the trees and hot on the trail of Strom and Strom trying to shake him of they went to a place when Ripslanger couldn't see where Strom was . It was liking Strom had disappeared until he felt a thunder ball hit him and it turned to see what it was and another hit from another direction and a few other from all over Ripslanger got angry and on Destro's command blew a huge flame burning the trees and saw Strom take off up escaping the fire Destro followed them and looked at Trevor and said " Nice thinking but not good enough . " He pulled his gun and started shooting at them Strom avoided them and flew a little higher and allowed Trevor to shoot back at him and Strom and Ripslanger fighting with thunder balls and flame until they were out of bullets . Ripslanger suddenly pushed Strom and Trevor fell and Strom flew down wards catching him in time but then he realized why Destro had done that it was because he gone up and Ripslanger was coming down at him in full force with Destro on him trying to rip him and Strom flew upwards . They both were going to have a head on collision and just before impact Strom suddenly went into a roll and moved . Ripslanger couldn't stop that fast and Trevor pulled out a long sword and cut Destro's one arm off and as he did that Ripslanger's one wing got cut off and they both fell to the ground and Destro stood up and looked at Ripslanger and it hooted suggesting it was ok . Trevor landed exactly where he had fallen and looked at him without his hand and Destro smirked and said " Looks like your not a man of fair fight either " Trevor got down from Strom and motioned Strom to stand down and Strom took a step back . Trevor said " I'm not like you Destro I'll give you a fair fight " Trevor pulled out his long spear and put one hand behind and said " I wont use this hand " Destro gave a smile and went towards Ripslanger and patted the Dragons head and pulled a long sword out of the bag near the dragon and a bandage and wrapped his bleeding shoulder and stood his stance . Trevor and Destro circled each other and charged at each other with their weapon Destro somehow was stronger and with the second move gave Trevor a cut on his shoulder and the second with a cut on his leg . Even with one hand he was stronger . Trevor knew he couldn't beat him so he started playing defensive . He started to block instead of attacking and he started to tire out Destro and soon as Destro got a little exhausted he started attacking and making sure that Destro had to play defensive and soon he blocked Destro's move of attack and pushed him back . Trevor saw that Strom was behind Destro and Destro stood up and rushed at Trevor yelling Trevor just moved and Destro fell forward and when he turned and rushed back at Trevor , Trevor just ran towards Strom and yelled " Strom now boy " Strom just bent his head and when Trevor stepped on its head it gave him a push up and Trevor did a flip and landed behind Destro pushing the spear right into him and all he heard was Destro gasping and fall down . Trevor pulled the spear out of him and helped him up and laid him down near the tree and looked at him Gasping for breath . he looked at Trevor and said " One heck of a move boy " Trevor just smiled and said " Can you tell me now at least , Why ?" Destro looked at him and Trevor said " You could have forced my mother into marriage and you are tougher and wiser than my father . A bit of a tyrant but wise , so why ? " Destro took a breath and said " MY parents din't give me throne because my brother was better , They dint give me the throne because I am not straight " Trevor widened his eyes and asked " WHAT ?" Destro smiled and said " I can't like women , I like men . " Trevor helped him up and said " so what its common " Destro said " Well for you boy not around here , around here people like my parents always said that it was like a disease and it was not accepted . the only one who understood me was your father , i thought he would help me and i had a guy whom I liked when your father met your mother . He liked me too . But when I told my parents about this they got furious with me and stripped me off my title as the next heir and put your father there . but what hurt me was not what my parents did or the fact that they accepted my brother's relation with a human female but not mine with a rider who is male but rather the fact that your father din't stand up for me . he changed the rule of humans but not what I Had to go through . That drove me to what I did . Also i am not married and i din't kill my wife . My daughter is a baby of the women whom I found wounded in the woods and told her pose as my wife and i would take care of her daughter . " Trevor knew he couldn't save Destro even if he wanted to so he looked at him and said " I am so sorry , any last wish " Destro looked at him and said " Treat Stella as your own sister , please and never let her know that she is not my daughter " Trevor nodded and said " I promise " Destro looked contended and took of a ring and placed it on Trevor's hand and said " You will make one hell of a king boy , good luck " and with that Destro breath his last . Trevor looked at the dragon and it had turned to stone .He closed Destro's eyes and said " Rest in peace uncle Benjamin " He looked at the dragon and took its long neck with him and placed Destro's body on Strom and went back to the battle place where seeing Strom everyone stopped fighting and looked t him . Trevor landed and picked up Destro's body and carried it to the front of the place and everyone made way for him and he went in front and said " Riders your king Benjamin is dead and died a very honorable death . I expect his body to be given a funeral fit for a king for he was one " Vanessa walked near him and looked at his hand and asked " Where did you get this " Trevor looked at what she was talking about and said " He put it on my finger before he died " Vanessa widened her eyes and gave him a smile and turned towards the riders and said " Riders your previous king has chosen him as our next ruler , all hail king Trevor " and the riders repeated after her " All hail king Trevor " and everyone and their dragons bowed to him and Strom . Trevor looked at Vanessa and asked " Now what " Vanessa smiled and said " Be a ruler " She stepped back and she and Skydancer bowed back to him . Trevor looked at Strom and asked " What do you say boy " Strom roared in response and all the dragons roared with him . Trix came next to him and took his face in her palms and said " Your father would be so proud of you " Trevor smiled and said " I know and I need to make a few changes to dads rules ."
when they returned Morty ran to Trevor and hugged him and said " Dude you did it " Trevor said " I couldn't have done it without you brother " Morty nodded and as he went on someone tapped him on his back and he came face to face with a girl and she smiled at him . she was a little tall and slender and fair with a blue eyes and she said " Hi , my name is Anna , you were just amazing with the computer " Morty who was shocked managed to say " Oh thanks " She asked " Hey if your are free can we hang out sometime " Morty said in a stunned voice " Sure anytime " she pulled out a piece of paper and wrote her number and said " Call me ok " He nodded and jumped with joy and looked at Trevor and he gave him a thumbs up sign . Vanessa just smiled back at him . Trevor ran over to the infirmary to check on Creech and saw him lying with bandages covering him . Trevor looked at Tina and she said " My king i have done everything I can but I don't think he will make it the bleeding was too much and the organs have been damaged even if he does survive it will be a life worse than dying " Trevor went over and sat on a chair beside the bed and took Creech's hand and asked " I'm sorry Creech i couldn't save you " Creech just smiled and said " it has been my honor and pleasure to die for the king and to fight beside you and stay alive to make sure you will sit on the throne " Trevor took Creech's hand and placed on his head and then stood up and bowed to him in respect and said " Creech you have the respect of all the riders and also will be remembered for the sacrifice you made for the throne " All the riders joined Trevor and they all bowed to Creech and he saw them all and closed his eyes and said his last words " all hail king Trevor " . Trevor walked over and placed his hand on Creech's head and walked out soon and said bury his body with the warriors " The riders bowed in acceptance .
Valient walked out slowly and joined Vanessa who was also outside and said " será un buen rey ( will he be a good king ) " Vanessa just said " tal vez pero creo en él ( maybe but I believe in him ) . So she continued " Well i just wanted to say thank you for saving me from that hell so that i can come here and for trusting me . That was really sweet " Valient looked at her finally and said " Well that is the first time I have ever heard anyone calling me sweet " . Stella said " Well its the first decent conversation I have had with anyone " Valient and she just averted eyes and smiled . Then Valient finally spoke up " Do you want to take a look around the place " Stella asked " Like a date ?" Valient froze and said " If that is what you want then sure " Stella walked over to him and locked her arms with his and said " Sure " . Dave looked on as he saw Stella with Valient and Trevor with Vanessa He thought to himself his kids had grown to be amazing . He looked up to the sky and said "Wish you were here Kate you would have been proud " .
A few weeks later Trevor stood at the edge of the mountain looking at the sky and Vanessa walked over and asked " I don't get it why the new rule about people who are not straight to be allowed all of a sudden and giving up the ruling to your mother " Trevor replied without looking down " I feel we must evolve along with the generation I know that everyone has feelings and they must all have the right to love without any boundaries also i just want to live my life without worries and then when I am ready I will take over " Vanessa nodded and said " That is really amazing and so are you but why did you turn the castle into a warehouse for experiment and intend to live with common folk " Trevor replied " Not always just once in a week I feel a king should know his people to understand them " Trevor finally looked down and said " Thanks for everything Nessa I couldn't have done all this without you " Vanessa just bowed a little in gratitude and looked at the sky smiling cause she knew Trevor was still looking at her . And finally she asked " What do you want to ask " Trevor who was still smiling at her and looking at her said " Will you like to go out with me " She turned to look at him and said " I thought you weren't into girlfriends yet " Trevor came closer to her and bent a little to reach her face and said " I wasn't until I met you " and he kissed her and she dint retort and just closed her eyes . When they broke away he continued " And I am willing to take a chance with you " She said " Can i think about it " Trevor stood up straight and said " You have a terrible sense of timing " . She just laughed and said " Just kidding of course yes , but i have one condition " Trevor nodded asking her to continue " You wont call me names like babe , honey or sweetheart and stuff ok " Trevor said " Don't worry I hate all those words i just like to call you compañera (Buddy )" Vanessa smiled and said "cuando aprendiste español ( when did you learn Spanish ) " Trevor looked at her and said " what ?" Vanessa said " Nothing , I'm cool with that name compañero " Trevor smiled and turned around and just fell off the cliff . Vanessa just looked at him falling and said " What a show off " . As if on cue he flew back with Strom roaring . Vanessa whistled and skydancer came flying and she just jumped on her and flew with Strom . As Trevor flew with Strom other riders joined him bowing to him as he crossed them and Valient and Stella joined in bowing their heads to him and he turned to the other side to see Vanessa and Morty riding with his girl riding the dragon beside her . All of them bowed their heads to them .Trevor went on further to have his mother join him and look at him in appreciation . He bowed to her and he looked at Strom and he hooted . And he and Strom saw the sun at its early rise and rose high to meet it as the new kings and leaders of all the riders and their dragons .
